USWA World Tag Team Titles PG-13 vs. Mr. Hughes & Jack Victory
Grudge Match Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Bill “Superstar” Dundee
Tommy “Wildfire” Rich vs. Jeff Jarrett
The Mongolian Stomper vs. Brian Christopher
“Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & David Cash vs. The Rock n’ Roll Express
PLUS MORE! *Lance Russell and Corey Macklin were out at the beginning of the show to welcome all the great fans out to the Mid-South Coliseum tonight and run down the entire card -1- The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) defeat Kevin Northcutt and Mike Samples at 10:45 when Tommy Rogers caught Mike Samples in a leaping DDT to score the victory. -2- Billy Jack Haynes (w/ Scott Bowden) defeats Nightmare Danny Davis at 2:19 when he forces Davis to submit to the Full Nelson. -1- ”Handsome” Jimmy Valiant and David Cash wrestle The Rock n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) to a double-disqualification at 10:00 when all four brawled all over the ringside area and stopped listening to referee Frank Morrell. Jimmy Valiant managed to grab a steel chair and he walloped Robert Gibson across the back with it, but Ricky Morton soon pulled Robert out of the ring and rushed him to the dressing room. Valiant then got on the microphone and said this isn’t over by a long-shot! -4- ”Too Sexy” Brian Christopher pins The Mongolian Stomper at 8:11 when he came off the top rope with the flying leg drop on Stomper. The Mongolian Stomper came at Brian Christopher with a viciousness that was quite frankly a little shocking, but Christopher fought him tooth and nail to score the win. The Stomper tried to continue the fight after the bell, but Christopher dropkicked him out to the floor! The Mongolian Stomper threw a fit on the floor and could be heard screaming, “I failed him!” Christopher left the ring even more confused. INTERMISSION -5- Tommy “Wildfire” Rich pins Jeff Jarrett at 12:11 when he connects with the Lou Thesz Press to score the win. Rich and Jarrett really tore into each other in this one, with Jarrett even grabbing the ring bell. He stepped back in the ring with the ring bell and went to brain Rich with it, but referee Jerry Calhoun stepped in and grabbed the bell. While Jarrett was arguing with the referee, Tommy surprised him with the Thesz Press to win! Tommy Rich was laughing his head off at flustering Jarrett after the match, while Jarrett stewed in the ring. -6- USWA World Tag Team Champions PG-13 (JC Ice & Wolfie D) defeat Jack Victory and Mr. Hughes at 15:33 when Wolfie D connected with a flying elbow drop on Jack Victory to score the pin. Dr. Don Callis came out to take notes during the match and he actually seemed to flash a smile when PG-13 scored the win over Victory and Mr. Hughes. -7- Jerry “The King” Lawler pins Bill “Superstar” Dundee at 16:11 after connecting with the pile-driver. These two had another great brawl, which culminated with Dundee scoring a series of near-falls on Lawler. Superstar went to whip Lawler off the ropes, but The King accidentally collided with referee Jerry Calhoun. Lawler was dazed, but Dundee soon boot him and connected with a diving cross-body splash! The Superstar went for the cover, but there was no referee! A furious Dundee got up and tried to wake Jerry Calhoun, but Calhoun was still feeling the effects of that collision. Dundee turned around only to get a boot to the gut and then a pile-driver from The King! That hold is illegal here in the USWA, but there was no referee! Lawler drags Calhoun over, makes the cover and Calhoun counts the 1-2-3! Jerry “The King” Lawler celebrates with the fans after the bell, while Bill Dundee has to be helped up by Jerry Calhoun and several prelim wrestlers. Once he is back on his feet, Dundee shoves them all away and angrily screams that Jerry Lawler has cheated him again! *Scott Bowden and his charge “Nature Boy” Buddy Landell make their way for the main event. “Bad Street USA” began playing in the Coliseum, ushering in the arrival of USWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy! Gordy comes down to the ring alone, but says he has someone to watch his back as promised. Gordy introduces the man who got screwed out of this title shot by Landell and Bowden last week here at the Mid-South Coliseum: THE DIRTY WHITE TONY ANTHONY! Tony Anthony makes his way down to the ring with a big smile on his face and he points to Bowden, inviting him to bring it on. -8- USWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy (w/ The Dirty White Boy) pins Buddy Landell (w/ Scott Bowden) at 21:24 when Gordy levels Landell with a brutal power-bomb. Scott Bowden attempted to interfere at several points throughout this match, but he is constantly thwarted by Tony Anthony. Late in the match, Bowden is able to trip Gordy coming off the ropes, but that is all Tony Anthony needs to deck Scott! In the ring, Landell attempts to capitalize with a clothesline, but Gordy boots him and lays him out with a power-bomb! Gordy and Tony Anthony shake hands after the match, but The Dirty White Boy tells Terry that he wants a shot at the USWA World Heavyweight Title!

The AWA presents: United States Wrestling Association “Championship Wrestling” Channel Five Studios Memphis, TN Air Date: May 5, 1995 Broadcast Team: Lance Russell & Dave Brown Ring Announcer: Corey Macklin Referees: Jerry Calhoun & Frank Morrell*The opening video fades into the studio where the camera pans the audience and then sends us over to LANCE RUSSELL and DAVE BROWN! They show highlights from Monday’s MSC show including: Jerry Lawler defeating Bill Dundee again, The Dirty White Boy preventing Scott Bowden from interfering in USWA Champion Terry Gordy’s win over Buddy Landell, Tommy Rich stealing a win from Jeff Jarrett, and Brian Christopher’s brawl with The Mongolian Stomper where The Stomper could be heard shouting he “failed” after the match. Lance and Dave talk about what a strange it was to witness The Stomper’s reaction – they no clue what that was about. This Monday night at the Coliseum we are going to see a rematch between Jeff Jarrett and Tommy Rich as well as USWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy defending his title against former Texas Heavyweight Champion Iceman King Parsons! We’ll hear from both men later on. Plus, Dr. Don Callis will be here to tell us more about this so-called Truth Commission he spoke of last week. The main event will feature Jerry “The King” Lawler squaring off with the dangerous Pat Tanaka! Lance and Dave are then interrupted as “The Boy From New York City” by The Manhattan Transfer begins playing in the studio. That can only mean that “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant is here! ”Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & David Cash defeat The Gambler and Rip Rogers at 3:34 when Valiant pins Rogers with the elbow smash. Valiant and Cash storm the ring again, which ensures that this one is short and ugly. Valiant unloads with rights and lefts on both The Gambler and The Hustler, before pinning Ripley Rogers with his signature running elbow drop. *David Cash and his tag team partner “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant come over to the broadcast position after the match, with Valiant once again giving a lady in the front row a big smooch! Jimmy Valiant gets on the microphone and says his “street war to the death” with the Rock n’ Roll Express is far from over! This week at the Coliseum, there will be a winner because Handsome Jimmy and his “boogie down partner” David Cash will face Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson in an elimination tag team match! Valiant says this will give him and David a chance to “put a beat down” on the Rock n’ Rolls “nice and slow” so they can feel the same pain and agony they caused Michael Gibson. Valiant also promises that after he and David Cash win, they will be partying all over Memphis with his “street people!” “The Boy From New York City” begins playing again Jimmy Valiant steps back into the ring to dance as we go to commercial. . . . commercial break . . . *Tommy “Wildfire” Rich is in a jolly mood as he joins Lance Russell and Dave Brown as we come back from the commercial. Rich says heard “somebody say somethin’ about another match with Jeff Jarrett” – well that’s just fine with him. Tommy says one of his favorite things in the whole world to do is beat up on people with the last name Jarrett and Lawler. Wildfire boasts about beating Jeff Jarrett at the Mid-South Coliseum, but Lance reminds him that the match ended under questionable circumstances. Tommy denies this and warns Lance not to “start any trouble” with him. Rich promises that he is going to get another win over Jeff Jarrett this week and then he wants a chance to be World Heavyweight Champion again. Winning the big one for a second time will almost as enjoyable as making sure Jeff Jarrett DOESN’T, laughs Rich. Tommy Rich then goads the fans a little bit, before walking off the dressing room so our next match can get underway. ”Too Sexy” Brian Christopher defeats TD Steele by disqualification at 5:12 when a masked man comes in and attacks Christopher with a chain. The large man wearing a black mask arrived in the studio to shove Brian off the top rope and then entered the ring. He was carrying a long chain and used to bash Christopher across the forehead several times, before chocking Brian with the chain! Officials finally arrive and ordered this psychopath out of the floor, but he charged over to the announce desk. *This wild masked man storms over the broadcast booth and begins swinging his chain around. Lance Russell and Dave Brown clear out as the man takes one of their microphone and tells viewers that his name is Bloody Ox Brody. Brody reveals that he was paid a lot of good money to come down here to Memphis and take out Brian Christopher. So that’s exactly what he will do! Ox Brody demands a match with Brian Christopher this Tuesday night at the Coliseum or else he’ll finish the job at Brian’s home, or his favorite restaurant or maybe even at his wife’s home. Brody reiterates that somebody real big in this industry wants Brian Christopher taken out of the picture – Ox doesn’t know why and he doesn’t care! Brody orders Randy Hales to make the match or else there will be more destruction here in the USWA. Bloody Ox Brody throws down the microphone and storms off as Lance and Dave try to get back to the broadcast desk. . . . commercial break . . . . *Randy Hales is out after the break and he tells Lance Russell and Dave Brown that he didn’t want to sign a match between this idiot Ox Brody and Brian Christopher, but Brian has demanded it so it will be added to Tuesday’s card. Bill Dundee then storms out from the back and he is clearly pretty angry. The Superstar angrily chides Randy Hales for not reversing the decision from Tuesday night because Jerry Lawler used an illegal pile-driver to win. Hales reminds Dundee that in 99% of cases, the referee’s decision is final. This brings out Jerry “The King” Lawler, who gloats about defeating Bill Dundee for the second week in a row. Dundee angrily demands another match with Lawler, but Jerry refuses. He told Bill Dundee he’d be done with him after Tuesday’s match and he means it! Dundee then offers to put up $5,000 if Lawler can beat him again. The King thinks it over for a second, but he refuses. A furious Bill Dundee then ups the ante by agreeing to put his hair on the line against Lawler in addition to the money. Jerry Lawler seems intrigued because he’d love to see Dundee shaved bald in the middle of the ring, but he turns Dundee down again! Lawler: “The fact is Bill Dundee, I’ve embarrassed you enough.” Jerry smiles as he walks off, while Bill Dundee practically throws a fit on the set. Smokey Mountain Heavyweight Champion Tracy Smothers (w/ Bob Armstrong) pins Chief Charlie Norris at 7:34 with a pump-handle slam. Norris put up quite a challenge, scoring a series of near-falls with chops and even a power-slam. Norris goes for a running clothesline, but is tripped coming off the ropes by Bob Armstrong! Smothers capitalizes with a spinning neck-breaker and then finishes Norris off with the pump-handle slam. *Smokey Mountain Wrestling commissioner Bob Armstrong and the SMW Heavyweight Champion Tracy Smothers then join Lance and Dave for an interview. Smothers makes it clear that he is here in the USWA to unify the two most prestigious titles in the sport today – the USWA World Title and the SMW Title. Tracy says he’s wanted a match with Terry Gordy for months now, but Gordy has been ducking him. Lance objects to that, but Smothers tells Lance that he’s just shilling for his USWA buddies, Russell asks Bob Armstrong to try to talk some sense into Tracy, but Armstrong says quite frankly he agrees with Tracy. Bob says he’s been trying to get the match signed for months, but nobody from the USWA will call him back! Lance suggests that might because SMW is a defunct promotion, but Armstrong insists that what Russell just said was a malicious rumor. Lance says he’s heard about enough – Tracy will get a chance to prove himself this Tuesday night when he takes on “The Fabulous One” Steve Keirn. . . . . *The Dirty White Boy Tony Anthony is out after the break to talk about his match with Buddy Landell. Anthony tells Lance and Dave that it felt it good to pop that little weasel Scott Bowden at the Coliseum, but it will even better to get the win over Landell this week. Anthony talks about how he had a world title shot in his grasp, but Bowden and Landell stole it from him. He doesn’t react kindly to thieves – Landell and Bowden will find that out on Tuesday night. Lance asks if The Dirty White is concerned about Scott Bowden’s new client Billy Jack Haynes sticking his nose in. Anthony answers that any friend of Scott Bowden is an enemy of his – if Billy Jack wants a piece of the Dirty White Boy, he can sure as hell have one! Dave and Lance then send us to a VTR from Iceman King Parsons, who talks about his many battles with Terry Gordy in World Class Championship Wrestling. The Iceman says he’s beaten Gordy before and he’ll do it again – only this time he’ll get the USWA World Title as well as having his hand raised. Parsons: “Gordy, it ain’t gonna be too fun for you, brotha, but like momma says, it beeeees that way sometimes!” We go back to the ring for our next match. Jeff Jarret defeats Tony Williams at 4:32 when he forces Williams to submit to the Figure-Four leg lock. Jeff is fired up today after his loss to Tommy Rich at the Mid-South Coliseum last Monday night at the Coliseum. Jarrett pretty much dominates this from bell-to-bell by softening up Tony’s right knee and then forcing a submission to win. *Jeff Jarret is over to the desk after the match and he tells Lance and Dave that he hasn’t slept all week. Jeff says he’s going to keep this short and sweet – he should have known that when you face Tommy Rich, you have to fight fire with fire. Jarrett promises that he’s learned his lesson and then walks off. Brian Christopher then makes his way out, with bandages wrapped around his head. Christopher is understandably upset following the attack by Bloody Ox Brody earlier on. Brian says it’s pretty obvious now that someone is targeting himself, but that’s fine with him! Christopher says he won’t need a chain or a chair to beat Bloody Ox Brody, his first will do just fine. Or maybe a heart attack will beat him to it since Bloody Ox is “such a fat piece of trash!” Christopher says he may be hurt now, the blood may be pouring out of his head, but he will be ready to draw Ox Brody’s blood on Tuesday night! Lance urges Brian to get his injuries looked at by a doctor as we go to break again. . . . commercial break . . . *Dr. Don Callis is brought out before the main event by Lance and Dave. Russell asks Dr. Callis more about this Truth Commission. Dr. Callis says that everyone knows he studies the mind in great detail and his studies led him to discover a so-called “supreme fighting force” which was being developed in South Africa. Militia forces created their own Truth Commission, a group of elite soldiers who through conditioning were taught to think only of the goals of the militia. There were some, um, “problems” with the South African, but Dr. Callis has experimented with the theories himself on some ‘willing’ volunteers. His goal is to conquer the world of professional wrestling and his Truth Commission will do that for him! PG-13 make their way out at this point and JC Ice mocks the very notion of “super soldiers” actually existing. Callis warns JC Ice not to test him, but Ice says Dr. Don Callis can bring in the biggest and the baddest in here and it won’t make a difference. Wolfie D challenges Don Callis to bring his Truth Commission to the USWA and we’ll see who the ‘super soldiers’ really are. Callis asks them to think carefully before making such a request, but JC and Wolfie laugh at Callis and tell him to get real. Dr. Callis responds by saying he is very “real” and so is his Truth Commission – PG-13 will find that out right here next week on USWA Championship Wrestling. The malevolent Dr. Don Callis excuses himself as PG-13 continue to laugh at him. Jerry “The King” Lawler defeat Pat Tanaka at 10:23 when The King came off the second rope with the fist drop! Tanaka used his martial skills to wear down Lawler, but The King would not be denied. He fought his back, dropped the strap and leveled Tanaka with a huge right hand to the face. The King then landed his signature maneuver to score the three count! *The manic Bill “Superstar” Dundee is once again out after Jerry Lawler’s win to demand a rematch. Lawler tells Dundee to give it up already, he’s already turned down $5,000 and Dundee’s hair. The Superstar says he will up the ante. Dundee promises that if Lawler grants him a match and beats the Superstar again, he will pay the $5,000, he will have his head shaved bald in the middle of the ring and he’ll go one further. Dundee says if Lawler can beat him again, he will refund the money of every single fan who buys a ticket to the Mid-South Coliseum on Tuesday out of his own pocket! Lance and Dave both urge Dundee not to make an offer like that, but Dundee ignores them and demands an answer from Jerry Lawler. The King walks over to the studio audience and asks them what they think. The few fans he speaks to urge him to take the match. Lawler walks back over to the desk with a big smile on his face. The King calls out Randy Hales and says Dundee will sign a contract putting all three of those things up, he will take ONE MORE match with Bill Dundee! Hales promises to draw up the contract and Lawler laughs that he’s going to really enjoy making Bill Dundee go bankrupt this Tuesday night! The King walks off while Bill Dundee smiles devilishly. *Lance Russell Dave Brown then take a few moments to wrap up today’s show and also announce the line-up for Tuesday night at the Mid-South Coliseum. Tommy “Wildfire” Rich vs. Jeff Jarrett
Bloody Ox Brody vs. Brian Christopher
Elimination Match “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & David Cash vs. The Rock n’ Roll Express
The Dirty White Boy vs. Buddy Landell -1- The Dirty White Boy Tony Anthony defeats Buddy Landell (w/ Scott Bowden) by disqualification when Billy Jack Haynes the ring to attack Tony Anthony. Haynes hit a double sledge on Anthony from behind and then locked him in the Full Nelson. Billy Jack really had the hold locked in as Scott Bowden slapped The Dirty White Boy across the face. Haynes finally released the hold when officials arrived, but then got on the microphone and shouted that this should be a lesson for anyone who is stupid enough to challenge him. -2- USWA World Tag Team Champions PG-13 (JC Ice & Wolfie D) defeat The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) at 14:11 when Wolfie D hit the hangman’s neckbreaker on Bobby Fulton. Dr. Don Callis was out to take notes on this title rematch, but he simply walked away when Wolfie D and IC Ice invited him to step into the ring for a brawl after the match ended. -3- SMW Heavyweight Champion Tracy Smothers (w/ Bob Armstrong) pins ”The Fabulous One” Steve Keirn at 12:34 with a spine-buster. Bob Armstrong got on the microphone after the match and says he hopes Randy Hales watched this match. Armstrong urges his USWA counterpart to sign a match between the USWA World Champion and the SMW Heavyweight Champion Tracy Smothers! -4- Jeff Jarrett pins Tommy “Wildfire” Rich at 17:34 in their heated rematch. We saw Tommy Rich take a short cut to win last week and tried for another this week. Rich pulled a roll of tape late in the match and tried to wrap his right hand as referee Frank Morrell was distracted. Jarrett saw it out of the corner of his eye and dropkicked Rich out to the floor. Jeff then used the tape to wrap his own right hand while referee Frank Morrell counted out Rich. Jarrett then grabbed Rich, suplexed Tommy back into the ring and decked with several of those taped right hands! Jeff then hit a DDT and covered Rich to score the win! Jeff Jarrett DID say that he would fight fire with fire! -5- Reggie B. Fine pins The Gambler at 10:11 when he drops Gambler with a neck-breaker. INTERMISSION -6- Brian Christopher pins Bloody Ox Brody at 12:23 when he comes off the top rope with the flying leg drop. This brawl goes all over the arena and then begin into the ring. Brody tries to use the chain, but Christopher blocks him with a series of rights and lefts! Brian then suplexes Brody and goes up tope with his leg drop to score the win. Christopher then got on the microphone and challenged whoever is targeting him to bring on the next monster. -7- USWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy defeats Iceman King Parsons at 15:57 by forcing Iceman to submit to the Asiatic Spike. Parson took the fight to Gordy early on, but simply could not keep the champion down for the count. Terry Gordy eventually locked in his submission hold and that was all she wrote for King Parsons on this night. *SMW commissioner Bob Armstrong and SMW Heavyweight Champion Tracy Smothers made their way back out after the match and Smothers once again challenged Terry Gordy to a title-vs-title match. Gordy shouted that he’d take Smothers on any time. Armstrong then said that counts as a verbal commitment and he will hold Randy Hales to that commitment. Smothers and Armstrong walk off as Terry Gordy stands ready for a fight in the ring. -8- The Rock n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeat ”Handsome” Jimmy Valiant and David Cash at 12:11 in an elimination match. The first elimination saw Jimmy Valiant disqualified after he refused to stop choking Robert Gibson in the corner. Valiant then dragged Gibson out to the floor and slammed him on the concrete floor. Ricky Morton tried to help Robert back up, but Gibson was then counted out by Frank Morrell! That left Ricky Morton and David Cash to determine the winner. Cash fought valiantly, but he was eventually pinned following a flying knee drop from Ricky Morton! Morton attempted to continue to attack Cash after the bell, until Jimmy Valiant ran back down with a steel chair to clear the ring. -9- In a match where Bill Dundee put up $5,000, his hair, and a refund to everyone who bought a ticket if he loses, Bill “Superstar” Dundee pins Jerry “The King” Lawler at 20:34 with a roll-up! Lawler looked to be on his way to a third win over Bill Dundee, when Tommy “Wildfire” Rich ran down and got up on the apron. Rich ranted and raved, but Lawler collared him. Dundee then landed a dropkick to Lawler’s back, rolled up him and grabbed TWO handfuls of tights as referee Frank Morrell made the three count! Dundee immediately rolled out to the floor and celebrated with Tommy Rich as a furious Jerry Lawler tried to explain what happened to the referee! Jeff Jarrett then stormed down to the ring and went after Dundee and Rich, with Jerry Lawler joining in on the chase. Rich and Dundee ran around the ring and darted up the aisle to escape. Lawler and Jarrett then returned to the ring to again argue with Frank Morrell, but the referee’s decision stands!

The AWA presents: United States Wrestling Association “Championship Wrestling” Channel Five Studios Memphis, TN Air Date: May 12, 1995 Broadcast Team: Lance Russell & Dave Brown Ring Announcer: Corey Macklin Referees: Jerry Calhoun & Frank Morrell*The opening video fades into the studio where the camera pans the audience and then sends us over to LANCE RUSSELL and DAVE BROWN! They show highlights from Monday’s MSC show including: Bill Dundee stealing a win over Jerry Lawler with the aid of Tommy Rich, SMW Heavyweight Champion Tracy Smothers challenging USWA World Champion Terry Gordy to a title-vs-title match, Dr. Don Callis scouting PG-13’s successful title defense, and Billy Jack Haynes attacking The Dirty White Boy. Lance Russell announces that the end of Bill Dundee’s match with Jerry Lawler has sparked a lot of controversy and it has led Randy Hales to sign a very special match for this Tuesday night at the Mid-South Coliseum. Today’s show will feature USWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy defending against Tony Falk. Plus, Dr. Don Callis has promised that The Truth Commission will be in action for the very first time here today on Championship Wrestling. Bill Dundee and Tommy “Wildfire” Rich make their way into the studio at this point and they are sure to taunt the fans as they head towards the ring. Bill Dundee & Tommy “Wildfire” Rich defeat Rockin’ Rebel and TD Steele at 6:34 when The Superstar came off the top rope with the Bomb’s Away on Steele. Dundee and Rich really yucked it up as they worked over Steele and the Rebel. The finish saw Steele miss a splash into the corner and then get slammed. The Superstar went up for his signature move and that’s all it takes in this instance. *Tommy Rich and Bill Dundee then made their way over to the desk, where Dundee gloated about keeping his hair, keeping the $5,000 and making sure that every fan had to spend their hard earned money on him. Randy Hales makes his way out now and says he doesn’t know quite why Tommy Rich is so happy – he LOST on Tuesday! Rich doesn’t like that at all and puts up his dukes, but Hales tells him to calm down. Randy says everyone saw Bill Dundee cheat to beat Jerry Lawler, but like he said a few weeks ago, unfortunately, the referee’s word is final in 99% of cases. Dundee says he never cheated – Lawler just couldn’t get the job done! Hales tells Bill Dundee he’s glad that The Superstar is so confident because he’ll have a chance to prove himself again on Tuesday. Dundee smiles and asks who he’s facing – Chief Charlie or Scott Studd? Hales says it’s none of the above – Dundee and Rich will be teaming up for a match against… Jeff Jarrett and Jerry “The King” Lawler! Dundee and Rich flip out and protest, but Randy Hales says the match is final as Lance and Dave send us to our first commercial. . . . commercial break . . . *Smokey Mountain Wrestling commissioner Bob Armstrong and SMW Heavyweight Champion Tracy Smothers. Bob asks that footage be shown from the Coliseum of Terry Gordy agreeing to a title-vs-title match against Tracy Smothers. We go back to the studio when Armstrong is indignant as he says even after the champion agreed to a match, Randy Hales hasn't still returned his calls! Bob wants to know why Randy Hales is scared for Tracy Smothers to face Randy’s hand-picked USWA Champion Terry Gordy. Randy Hales comes out to the studio and says he wants to speak with Armstrong around this backstage, but Bullet insists on speaking right here. Randy is exasperated as he explains that Tracy can’t just walk in here and expect to receive a title match. Also, Terry Gordy doesn’t make his own matches in the USWA. Bob Armstrong smiles and says it’s clear what’s really going on here – Terry Gordy has thought better of his agreement and is sending Randy Hales to his dirty work. Hales says Bob should no better than to make a statement like that – first of all, Gordy was booked weeks ago to defend against Sycho Sid this Tuesday night. However, Tracy Smothers can have his title shot the next week if he can defeat former Southern Heavyweight Champion Billy Travis this Tuesday night! Tracy Smothers smugly respond that Hales can stack the deck as much as he wants, it won’t stop him from getting at the USWA World Title. Bob Armstrong says he’ll be at the Coliseum this Tuesday night with Tracy to ensure Randy Hales doesn’t pull any shenanigans. Billy Jack Haynes (w/ Scott Bowden) defeats El Halcon by disqualification at 2:12 by forcing the masked man to submit to the Full Nelson. Haynes refused to release the submission hold after the match and really appeared to take pleasure by inflicting more pain on Halcon. Finally, The Dirty White Boy Tony Anthony hit the ring and began brawling with Haynes! The two men fought all across the studio, into the backstage area and then back into the studio. Randy Hales rushed out with prelim wrestlers and officials to force a break between the two men, with Billy Jack Haynes screaming that he was going to break Tony Anthony as he was held. Scott Bowden and Buddy Landell were eventually able to pull Billy Jack Haynes backstage. *Tony Anthony was then interviewed by Lance Russell and said he wanted to make it crystal clear that nobody gets away with jumping The Dirty White Boy. Randy Hales was trying to calm Anthony down, but White Boy says all he wants from Hales is a match with Billy Jack Haynes on Tuesday night. Hales says he will sign the match if gets things under control on TV here today. Anthony says that he will be going into the match Randy Hales with both guns blazing, ready to take on anyone and everyone because he knows Scott Bowden and Buddy Landell will get involved. Tony says he wants to dish out punishment to all three men – he tells them to bring it on this Tuesday night. Lance Russell and Dave Brown show us a replay of Dirty White Boy and Billy Jack Haynes brawling around the studio as they send us to another commercial break. . . . commercial break . . . . *Billy Jack Haynes is pacing the studio as we come back from break. Both Scott Bowden and Buddy Landell are trying to calm him down. Bowden tries to pat Billy Jack’s shoulder, but Haynes whips around and threatens his manager not to lay a finger on him. Billy Jack then snatches a microphone from Lance Russell and says Tuesday is going to history. It’s going to be the night that Billy Jack Haynes takes one of the biggest stars in the history of Memphis and rips him limb from limb in the middle of the ring. Haynes urges every to buy their tickets for Tony Anthony’s final wrestling match because after Tuesday, he will never be physically able to step into a wrestling ring again. Haynes says NOBODY picks a fight with him, not Hulk Hogan, not Ric Flair, not Bret Hart, not anyone. They’re all scared of him and won’t sign to wrestle him. They’ve black-balled him from wrestling – the USWA is the only place where people will get in the ring with him. Well, it’s good for Billy Jack, but the mistake of a lifetime for the stars of the USWA. Haynes says Tuesday night, he won’t be sending Tony Anthony out of the Coliseum in an ambulance – he’ll be sending him out in a hearse! Billy Jack throws down the microphone and storms off, while Scott Bowden and Buddy Landell share concerned looks. Reggie B. Fine pins The Gambler at 5:14 with a vertical suplex. Reggie was his normal annoying self, stopping the match at several points to argue with the fans sitting around the ring. The Gambler took advantage and scored a few close pin attempts, but Reggie eventually laid him out with a boot to the face. Reggie then finished off The Gambler and gloated after his hand was raised by referee Jerry Calhoun. *Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jeff Jarrett are out after the match to speak with Lance Russell and Dave Brown. Lawler says everyone in the Mid-South Coliseum saw Bill Dundee pull a desperation move last Tuesday because he knew he couldn’t win. The King says it’s real sad that Dundee and Tommy Rich have this fixation with him and Jeff – they have for years. Lawler thinks it’s because as good as Dundee and Rich are, they’ll never be the stars that The King and Double J are here in Memphis. Jarrett agrees, but tells The King that he’s learned that the only way to respond to these underhanded tactics is to use a few of his own. Jeff says he knows The King has no problem with that given his past, but Jarrett wants Dundee and Rich to know that he’s taking that same attitude now as well. Jeff says he and The King aren’t just coming for the win on Tuesday night, they are coming to embarrass Dundee and Rich. Lance and Dave then send us to a music video of Jerry Lawler against Bill Dundee’s past battles. . . . . *PG-13 are out with Lance Russell and Dave Brown now to witness the debut of The Truth Commission. JC Ice tells Dave Brown that he’s been shaking in his debut, but Wolfie D and JC Ice both show a little concern as Dr. Don Callis leads three large men into the studio. Callis introduces a tall dark haired man as Sniper, his muscular bald partner is Recon. The massive 400lb man standing next to him, who is wearing a black mesh mask with no visible eye or mouth holes, is Tank. Callis says Tank must wear a mask at all times to obscure his face because he is wanted for international war crimes. Lance announces that The Truth Commission will have a big challenge coming on Tuesday as they take on Iceman King Parsons and Tim Horner. Recon, Sniper and Tank stand at attention as Dr. Callis says those two men are no match for his Truth Commission – Recon and Sniper will destroy them. Dr. Callis then warns that it’s only a matter of time before PG-13 face their destiny and fall before The Truth Commission! JC Ice admits that these three are big and they sure look tough, but the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Callis answers that soon enough PG-13 will get to test that little theory. He then leads his men to the ring for their tag team match. The Truth Commission (Recon & Sniper) (w/ Dr. Don Callis & Tank) defeat Scott Putski and Chief Charlie Norris at 6:30 when Recon connected with the scissors kick on Scott Putski. Sniper and Recon followed Dr. Don Callis’ orders to show no mercy and as a result they destroyed Putski and Norris. Tank stood facing away from the ring the entire match with his arms folded across his chest – the man didn’t move. Following the match, al three members of the Truth Commission got on the apron to salute Dr. Don Callis and then followed him to ringside. *Lance and Dave are about to discuss this week’s Mid-South Coliseum card, when they are interrupted by the 500lb Awesome Kong. Fans may remember that it took an entire ring full of wrestlers to eliminate this man from the Battle Royal a few weeks ago. Lance asks what the big man is doing here. Awesome Kong answers that it should be obvious – the mysterious benefactor has finally smartened up and sent him after Brian Christopher. Lance seems a little aback by that and asks who this benefactor is. Awesome Kong doesn’t know, cash deposits show up at his bar and he follows instructions. Awesome Kong says Brian Christopher has had it easy so far with The Mongolian Stomper and Bloody Ox Brody. Kong promises that this week, he’s going to squash Brian Christopher like the little bug he is. Lance goes to ask another question, but Awesome Kong waves him off and walks away. Lance and Dave talk about how Brian Christopher may be in for serious trouble at the Mid-South Coliseum. Lance then sends us to a special video on Terry Gordy’s challenger for this Tuesday night, the one and only Sycho Sid! . . . commercial break . . . *VTR: “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant is standing by with David Cash. Valiant apologizes for letting Cash down last week, but David says Jimmy didn’t let him down. Cash says Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson are the ones who let him down. This week, Cash has a singles match against Ricky Morton and Handsome Jimmy faces Robert Gibson. Valiant promises to take care of Gibson and then he’ll be right there to witness David Cash prove who the real Rock n’ Roll man is here in the USWA. The Rock n’ Roll Express are in the studio as we come back and Ricky Morton says Jimmy Valiant is a walking ‘Just Say No’ campaign. Robert Gibson objects to be forced to wrestle “an animal” like Valiant again, but Ricky reassures him he can beat Handsome Jimmy. Morton says once Handsome Jimmy is out of the way, he’s going to teach David Cash the wrestling lesson of a lifetime. Ricky says David Cash will have no one to tag this week – he’s going to get the punishment he deserves for being nothing but a low-down, filthy thief. Lance: “All right Ricky, that’s about enough of that!” The Rock n’ Rolls share a laugh as Lance sends us back up to the ring. USWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy pins Tony Falk at 4:43 when the champion finished off Falk with a power-bomb. Falk tried his best to get some offense going, but Gordy practically bulldozed him. Even Terry’s strength overwhelmed Falk and Tony fell victim to a big-time power-bomb. *Terry Gordy makes his way over to the desk and says he arrived a little late today, but he heard Bob Armstrong and Tracy Smothers were running their mouth again. Gordy says if it was up to him, he’d fight BOTH Sycho Sid and Smothers this week. This brings out Bob Armstrong and Tracy Smothers, who walk right up and begin arguing with Gordy. Terry responds by telling “old man Armstrong” get to out of his face. Armstrong says Gordy won’t have to worry about him, he’ll have to worry about a real champion – Tracy Smothers. Randy Hales comes out now and attempts to calm things down. Randy says we’ve already had one situation get out of control this week, we can’t have another. Gordy no-sells Randy’s comments and says he’d be more than happy to step into the ring with Smothers RIGHT NOW. Bob Armstrong says Smothers won’t do that because it’s a non-sanctioned situation and he knows Gordy would resort to using a weapon. Gordy once again tells Armstrong to keep his nose out. *In the middle of this, Lance and Dave both are shocked because music begins playing in the studio: *SYCHO SID walks into the studio! Sycho Sid gets right between Tracy Smothers and Terry Gordy and says he is not one to feel like an after-thought! Sid says he wants to get something – firstly he is going to beat Terry Gordy to become the USWA World Heavyweight Champion this Tuesday night. Then, he is going to beat Tracy Smothers… IF Smothers can get by Billy Travis. And why is that? Because Sycho Sid is the man who rules the world! Gordy and Sycho Sid go nose-to-nose, but then Smothers reaches over and smacks Gordy across the face! Terry goes after Smothers, but Tracy and Armstrong high-tale it out of the studio. Sycho Sid blocks Gordy’s path and once again they are going face-to-face! Sycho Sid says he has the respect for Gordy to tell him, man-to-man, he’s coming for the USWA World Title and he doesn’t care what he has to do to get it. Gordy responds that he feels the same way – Sycho Sid is in for the fight of his life. The men look about ready to come to blows, but Randy Hales is able to calm them down and he leads both men to the backstage area. *Lance Russell Dave Brown then take a few moments to wrap up today’s show and also announce the line-up for Tuesday night at the Mid-South Coliseum. Let’s take a look at that card right now: presents:

Ricky Morton vs. David Cash
Brian Christopher vs. Awesome Kong
Iceman King Parsons & Tim Horner vs. The Truth Commission
PLUS MORE! *Lance Russell and Corey Macklin are out before the card begins to welcome everyone to the Mid-South Coliseum. Lance announces a full night of action and it’s about ready to get under way here in Memphis! -1- High Voltage (Robbie Rage & Kenny Kaos) defeat The Gambler and Action Jackson at 10:11 when Mr. Hughes drills Action Jackson with the side-walk slam to score the easy pin. -2- The Truth Commission (Sniper & Recon) (w/ Dr. Don Callis & Tank) defeat Iceman King Parsons and Tim Horner at 7:34 when Sniper comes off the second rope with a clothesline for the pin. -3- ”Handsome” Jimmy Valiant pins Robert Gibson at 5:34 with the big elbow smash. Gibson never got going here because Valiant attacked while Robert still had the ring jacket on. A furious Robert Gibson kicked the ropes after the match. -4- Awesome Kong defeats ”Too Sexy” Brian Christopher at 8:34 by count-out when Christopher could not return to the ring after being splashed out on the floor. The monstrous Awesome Kong signaled for a second splash out on the floor after the bell, but a diminutive man wearing a full black body suit, leather jacket and black ski mask came out and led the big man away. The masked man stopped to look at an injured Brian Christopher being helped up by officials, then patted Awesome Kong on the back and walked off. -5- Ricky Morton pins David Cash at 15:34 when Morton caught Cash with a spinning neck-breaker. Cash put up his best fight yet, but made one critical as he ducked his head for a back-drop. Ricky Morton was joined by Robert Gibson after the match to put the boots to Cash, with Morton yelling that he’s going to teach the kid a lesson he’ll never forget. Thankfully, Jimmy Valiant ran in with a chain to clear the ring. INTERMISSION -6- Bill “Superstar” Dundee and Tommy “Wildfire” Rich defeat Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jeff Jarrett at 19:34 when Dundee pins Lawler. The finish saw a wild brawl break out, with Rich and Jarrett fighting on the floor as Lawler and Dundee brawl in the ring. Lawler and Dundee collided with a double clothesline. Just as Frank Morrell stepped out onto the apron to order Rich and Jarrett back to their, Dundee began to stir. The Supertar pulled what appeared to be a small horse-shoe out of his tights and slipped it into his right! Lawler then approached, only for Dundee to kick right in the groin! Remember fans, Jerry Lawler suffered a serious groin injury at the hands of Tommy Rich and Austin Idol years back that left him out of action for months! Dundee made the cover just as Frank Morrell turned around and Rich held back Jarrett as the three count was made! Dundee and Rich celebrated on the floor and then took off! Medics were soon called to the ring and Jerry Lawler was carried out on a stretcher with Jeff and Jerry Jarrett by his side! -7- SMW Heavyweight Champion Tracy Smothers (w/ Bob Armstrong) pins Billy Travis at 16:34 when Smothers hits the Jaw Jacker elbow drop on Travis. Smothers an impressive and dominant win here over the former Southern Heavyweight Champion. Bob Armstrong gets on the microphone after the match and proclaims that Smothers will be the next World Heavyweight Champion. -8- Sycho Sid pins USWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy at 17:11 under very dubious circumstances to become the new champion! Sid and Gordy have a real slug-fest here, with both men taking a huge amount of punishment. Late in the match, Gordy accidentally throws Sid into referee Jerry Calhoun, knocking the official down! Sid then wobbles out of the corner, only to get caught in the Asiatic Spike! Sid fights and fights, but he starts to fight! However, the referee is still down! Gordy then adjust the move to grab Sid’s throat and choke-slams him! Terry then goes over to wake the referee, but Calhoun is out of it. From the back comes none other than the commissioner of Smokey Mountain Wrestling Bob Armstrong! Armstrong runs by the announce table and says he’s a licensed referee, he’s taking over the match! Bob hits the ring, but Gordy is right in his face! Armstrong mouths off so Gordy collars him! Tracy Smothers now sneaks in from behind and he bashes Gordy across the back of the head with the SMW Heavyweight Title belt! Smothers now rolls out of the ring just as Sid comes to. Sid rolls out and sees Gordy flat out on the canvas! Sycho Sid drapes his right arm over Gordy and now Bob Armstrong counts the 1-2-3! Armstrong orders for the bell to be rung, he grabs the USWA World Title and flings it into the ring! Bob Armstrong now takes off with Tracy Smothers! *Sycho Sid is still recovering and hasn’t seen of this, but now he walks over and grabs the USWA World Title! Sid is parading around the ring with it as Gordy starts to shake the cobwebs and Randy Hales arrives at ringside looking frantic. Sid now straps on the title as Gordy is up and he shoves Sid! The two men are about to go to war again, but Randy Hales and a group of prelim wrestlers flood the ring to separate them. Sycho Sid, oblivious to the inference of Bob Armstrong and Tracy Smothers, walks off with the title as a livid Terry Gordy argues with Randy Hales to close the show!

The AWA presents: United States Wrestling Association “Championship Wrestling” Channel Five Studios Memphis, TN Air Date: May 19, 1995 Broadcast Team: Lance Russell & Dave Brown Ring Announcer: Corey Macklin Referees: Jerry Calhoun & Frank Morrell*The opening video fades into the studio where the camera pans the audience and then sends us over to LANCE RUSSELL and DAVE BROWN! They show highlights from Monday’s MSC show including: Sycho Sid winning the USWA World Heavyweight Title over Terry Gordy thanks to interference from Bob Armstrong and Tracey Smothers, Brian Christopher being squashed by Awesome Kong with a big splash on the floor, the debut of The Truth Commission, and Jerry Lawler being stretchered out of the arena after a low blow from Bill Dundee. Lance and Dave discuss the wealth of controversy coming out of Tuesday’s show and later on, Randy Hales will join us to discuss it all. Plus, the brand new USWA World Heavyweight Champion Sycho Sid will be here today against Reggie B. Fine. We’ll also have updates on both Brian Christopher and Jerry “The King” Lawler following their injuries. Lance promises it will be a “whale of a show” and then sends us up to the ring for our first match this morning on USWA Championship Wrestling. David Cash & “Handsome” Valiant defeat Rockin’ Rebel and The Gambler at 6:34 when Jimmy Valiant came off the ropes with the big elbow on Rebel. Cash and Valiant took the studio by storm and their opponents ended up on the losing end rather quickly in this one. Cash and Valiant’s teamwork appears to improve each week and today look very capable of taking down the Rock n’ Roll Express. *”Handsome” Jimmy Valiant and David Cash make their way over to speak with Lance and Dave. Valiant says he and Cash have gone around and around with the Rock n’ Roll Express and it’s time for a real winner. Jimmy says the whole world wants to see if Morton and Gibson have any guts. Cash agrees and says he and Handsome Jimmy may not be a traditional team, but they have the fans behind them so they can achieve anything. David says if Morton and Gibson are as tough as they say they are, then they’ll take part in a New York City Street Fight this Tuesday night at the Mid-South Coliseum. Valiant shouts that he is ready to get bad to the b-b-b-bone – are the Rock n’ Roll Express ready to do the same? Jimmy Valiant then rolls back into the ring to dance to ‘Boy From New York City’ as Lance Russell send us to a commercial break. . . . commercial break . . . *Terry Gordy is out here after the break and he clearly is not happy. Gordy talks to Lance about being screwed out of his title by Bob Armstrong on Tuesday night. Gordy says he has no idea if Sid was in on it or not, but it does not matter. Terry knows Tracey Smothers is supposed to get a match with the champion this week, but Gordy says HE wants his own rematch this week. Russell says he is not sure if Gordy is entitled to a rematch in his contract, but Terry says he is going to get his rematch, win the belt back and then he’s going to destroy Bob Armstrong and Tracey Smothers to make sure they never cheat anyone else out of a match like they did to him. Gordy says he knows Randy Hales is here and he wants this cleared up on Championship Wrestling this morning! The big man walks off angrily as Lance Russell and Dave Brown send us back up to the ring for our next scheduled match featuring The Dirty White Boy Tony Anthony against TD Steele! The Dirty White Boy defeats TD Steele at 5:12 when he connects with the Bucksnort Blaster. Tony Anthony is looking extra aggressive here, possibly as a message to one Billy Jack Haynes. Anthony dominates from bell-to-bell, earning the pin with his signature finishing maneuver. *Tony Anthony walks over to the desk to talk with Lance Russell about his upcoming match on Tuesday with Billy Jack Haynes. The Dirty White Boy tells Lance that he knows all about the man Billy Jack has become. He heard about Billy Jack, the hero of the Northwest, betraying his fans a few years ago by attacking the young son of his tag team partner Rip Oliver. He heard about Billy Jack Haynes severely injuring the late Art Barr in Portland. It’s pretty clear that Billy Jack Haynes has become one bad dude in the last few years. Tony tells Lance that he wants to let Billy Jack in on a little secret – The Dirty White Boy has NEVER been a nice guy so he’s got a lot more practice at being under-handed. On Tuesday night, Anthony will throw the rules out the window and show Billy Jack Haynes that it was a real stupid move to pick a fight with the Dirty White Boy! Lance thanks the White Boy and then sends us to a promotional video for a man coming to the USWA, former NWA World Heavyweight Champion RICKY “THE DRAGON” STEAMBOAT! . . . commercial break . . . . *Bill Dundee and Tommy Rich are laughing it up in the studio when we come back from break. Dundee tells Lance Russell that the word is out now, Jerry Lawler has re-injured his groin and there’s no telling when or if he will be back here in the USWA! Tommy Rich tells the people watching to “go wake mamma and the babies” because the real Kings of Memphis are Bill Dundee and Wildfire now! Russell admonishes them and reveals that Jeff Jarrett has asked and been granted another tag team match with Rich and Dundee on Tuesday night at the Coliseum. Dundee laughs and asks who’d be stupid enough to team with a glutton for punishment like Jeff Jarrett. This brings out Jeff Jarrett, who says Dundee and Rich should really be shamed of themselves for what they did to Jerry Lawler. Jeff says it looks like some time on the shelf for the King right now, but he’s promised Jerry that he will carry on the fight against Dundee and Rich. Dundee jokes that Jarrett is going up to end in the hospital bed right next to Lawler because nobody will team with “little Jeffrey”. Jarrett tells Dundee he’s wrong, in fact – his partner is here today on Championship Wrestling! Familiar music begins playing in the studio: *FANS, IT’S THE HONKY TONK MAN! Dundee and Rich are having a fit in the studio as Honky Tonk Man makes his way out with his trusty guitar and he hits his signature dance moves! Dundee and Rich storm off to the dressing room as The Honky Tonk Man joins Lance Russell and Jeff Jarrett over at the desk. Honky says Jeff called him last week and told all about what happened with his cousin Jerry Lawler so he hopped on the first plane to Memphis, TN to help Jeff get some revenge! Honky accuses Bill Dundee of “ripping off” his act for years and then warns that they don’t call him “cool, cocky and bad” for nothing. On Tuesday night, the Honky Tonk Man and Double J are going to shake, rattle n’ roll all over Bill Dundee and Tommy Rich! Honky then steps into the ring for a match against the impressive youngster Scott “Polish Power” Putski. The Honky Tonk Man (w/ Jeff Jarrett) pins Scott Putski at 6:18 with the Shake, Rattle n’ Roll. Honky swiveled his hips and really got the crowd going in this one, still managing to take the fight to Putski throughout the match. The finish came when Putski ducked down for a back-drop and ended up getting caught in Honky’s patented swinging neckbreaker. *The commissioner of Smokey Mountain Wrestling, “Bullet” Bob Armstrong, is out with Tracey Smothers after the match. Armstrong says he wants to address Terry Gordy’s comments earlier. Bob denies that he ‘stole’ anything last Tuesday night, he was simply stepping in for an injured referee. Armstrong says it sounds to him like Terry Gordy is simply a sore loser, but that’s just too bad! The Bullet reiterates that Tracey Smothers has been promised a match against the USWA World Heavyweight Champion and he is demanding that the match go on as planned this Tuesday. Randy Hales makes his way out now. Hales says first of all, he’s fining Tracey Smothers $500 for interfering in the match between Terry Gordy and Sycho Sid. Hales says that unfortunately the referee’s decision stands and that means Sycho Sid is the new champion! Randy adds that what Bob Armstrong should have done though is read Tracey’s contract more thoroughly because it says Smothers is guaranteed to face TERRY GORDY, not the World Champion, this Tuesday and so that’s exactly what will happen this Monday night! Bob is furious as Randy Hales says the match will be a #1 contender’s match and the winner WILL face Sycho Sid the next Tuesday night at the Coliseum. As for Sycho Sid, he will be in action this Tuesday night against "The Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol! Randy leaves as the furious Bob Armstrong and Tracey Smothers following him, protesting all the way. . . . commercial break . . . *Lance Russell and Dave Brown then show clips of the debut of The Truth Commission last Tuesday night where they got a dominating victory. USWA World Tag Team Champion PG-13 then join Lance and Dave to talk about this imposing group. Wolfie D tells Lance that Dr. Don Callis has clearly put together a very tough team, but PG-13 have beaten many, many tough teams here in Memphis. Wolfie looks forward to facing The Truth Commission, but first they have to get through another legendary team! The Fabulous Ones are back on the same page and they will challenge for the belts this Tuesday night. JC Ice says he and Wolfie have nothing but respect for The Fabs, but they plan on going full throttle to beat them in front of Memphis’s finest on Tuesday night. Lance and Dave then show a highlight video of The Fabulous Ones and then send us back to the ring for our next match. Awesome Kong pins Tony Falk at 2:30 with the big running splash on Falk. Poor Tony was absolutely decimated in this match, where he was outweighed by over 100 pounds. Kong absolutely destroyed Falk and defeated him in under three minutes with the big splash. *Awesome Kong terrorizes the fans around ringside, until the man in the black bodysuit, leather jacket and mask arrives to lead him away. Lance then shows a replay of Kong flattening Brian Christopher at the Coliseum with a big splash on the floor. He then sends us to a VTR of “Too Sexy” Brian Christopher. Brian is at his home and he says it’s real clear now that somebody wants him out of the sport of professional wrestling. He stands up and lifts his shirt to show that his ribs are heavily bandage. Brian talks about how his doctors have warned him to stay out of the ring for a month or so, but he will not be doing that! Christopher says he’ll be back very soon for round two with Awesome King and this time it will be Kong having to be carried out… probably on a forklift! We then go back to the studio to Lance and Dave, who both question Brian’s decision to come back to the ring so soon. . . . commercial break . . . *The Rock n’ Roll Express are out after the break to respond to the challenge made my David Cash and Jimmy Valiant earlier. Ricky Morton says that obviously people forget he and Robert Gibson were involved in one of the most famous brawls in the Mid-South coliseum against “Macho Man” Randy Savage and The Genius many years ago. Morton says if Valiant and Cash want a New York Street Fight, they can have one! However, Morton wants to issue a personal warning to David Cash. Everybody knows the Rock n’ Roll Express can get down and dirty with the best of them. Everybody knows that “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant is bad to the bone. But David Cash – he’s just some punk kid! Morton says Cash should really think about his future because if David shows up at the Mid-South Coliseum on Tuesday night, he simply won’t have a future! Morton and Gibson walk off as Lance and Dave send us up to the ring for our main event of the morning pitting Sycho Sid against Reggie B. Fine! USWA World Heavyweight Champion Sycho Sid pins Reggie B. Fine at 3:43 when the champion finished off Reggie with a power-bomb. Reggie tried to attack to attack Sycho Sid as he entered the ring, but that only served to make the champion anger. The challenger ended up being pinned after a one-handed choke-slam and a power-bomb from Sycho Sid. *Sycho Sid makes his way over to the desk and he isn’t very pleased. Sid says he stands before the fans as the World Heavyweight Champion, but the decision was shrouded in controversy. The big man tells Lance that he is willing to take on BOTH Tracey Smothers and Terry Gordy but Randy Hales won’t allow it. Sid is frustrated and the man who will be the brunt of that frustration is Austin Idol! Sycho Sid knows Idol is the one and only Universal Heartthrob and a legend in Memphis, but Sid says he is meaner and nastier than anyone Idol has faced before! On Tuesday night at the Mid-South Coliseum, Idol is going to find out why Sycho Sid is the man… who rules… the WORLD! Sycho Sid stares menacingly into the camera and then walks off with the title slung over his shoulder. *Lance Russell Dave Brown then take a few moments to wrap up today’s show and also announce the line-up for Tuesday night at the Mid-South Coliseum. Let’s take a look at that card right now: presents:

PLUS MORE! *Lance Russell and Corey Macklin are out before the card begins to welcome everyone to the Mid-South Coliseum. Lance announces a full night of action and it’s about ready to get under way here in Memphis! -1- The Truth Commission (Recon & Sniper) (w/ Dr. Don Callis & Tank) defeat TD Steele & Doug Masters at 6:45 when Sniper came off the second rope with a flying knee drop on Doug Masters to score the pin. -2- Koko Ware (w/ Frankie) pins The Gambler at 8:34 when he came off the top rope with a flying dropkick on Gambler. This was Ware’s first appearance in Memphis in several years. -3- Billy Jack Haynes (w/ Scott Bowden & Buddy Landell) defeated The Dirty White Boy at 12:34 by submission when Tony Anthony passed out in the Full Nelson. Bowden tripped Anthony coming off the ropes late in the match, which allowed Haynes to clamp on the Full Nelson from behind and score the win. *After the match, Billy Jack Haynes refused to release the hold even after the referee ordered him to. Scott Bowden came in and was all smiles as he shoved down the official, but he even realized enough was enough after Anthony’s face began to turn red. Scott tapped Haynes on the shoulder, but Billy Jack screamed at him to get away. Buddy Landell then tried to play peacemaker, which eventually led Haynes to drop the hold. Buddy tried to explain what Scott was saying, only to get a right hand from Haynes! Billy Jack then locked the hold on Landell! Bowden was frantic, until a dozen wrestlers hit the ring and Haynes finally released the hold and stormed off, leaving both Buddy Landell and Tony Anthony unconscious. -4- USWA Tag Team Champions PG-13 (JC Ice & Wolfie D) defeat The Fabulous Ones (Stan Lane & Steve Keirn) at 10:34 when Wolfie D came off the second rope with a leg drop on Steve Keirn to score the win. -5- In a #1 contender’s match, Tracy Smothers (w/ Bob Armstrong) fought Terry Gordy to a double disqualification when both men stopped following referee Jerry Calhoun’s instructions. This was a wild brawl that Calhoun just could not contain and eventually gave up on. Gordy stood tall at the end after power-bombing Smothers, who was then dragged to safety by the commissioner of Smokey Mountain Wrestling Bob Armstrong. That didn’t solve the problem, however, because we still have no clear #1 contender. INTERMISSION -6- In a New York Street Fight, The Rock n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeat Jimmy Valiant & David Cash at 14:55 when Morton pinned Cash following a drop-toe hold on a chair in a match that went all over the arena. The aftermath saw Morton declare the RnRs the definitive winners and then Gibson pulled up the prone Cash so Morton could slap him. Jimmy Valiant then cleared the ring with a steel chair. -7- Bill Dundee & Tommy “Wildfire” Rich defeat Jeff Jarrett & The Honky Tonk Man at 17:45 when HTM turned on Jarrett and allowed Dundee to score the pin. HTM stood on the apron the whole match and when it came time for his hot tag, he belted Jarrett with a right hand, entered the ring and dropped him with the Shake Rattle n’ Roll! Honky then walked off with a big grin on his face as Dundee and Rich scored the win and then gloated like they’d won the Super Bowl. -8- USWA World Heavyweight Champion Sycho Sid pinned Austin Idol at 12:34 when he dropped the Universal Heartthrob with a power-bomb. Sid stood tall after the match and help up the title for everyone to see. It’s clear who the USWA World Heavyweight Champion is, but who is the #1 contender?

The AWA presents: United States Wrestling Association “Championship Wrestling” Channel Five Studios Memphis, TN Air Date: May 19, 1995 Broadcast Team: Lance Russell & Dave Brown Ring Announcer: Corey Macklin Referees: Jerry Calhoun & Frank Morrell*The opening video fades into the studio where the camera pans the audience and then sends us over to LANCE RUSSELL and DAVE BROWN! They show highlights from Monday’s MSC show including: Tracy Smothers and Terry Gordy fighting to a DDQ in the #1 contender’s match, Sid Vicious defending the belt against Austin Idol, the Honky Tonk Man turning on Jeff Jarrett, and Billy Jack Haynes attacking his own stablemate Buddy Landell. Lance and Dave promise to show a special VTR from The Honky Tonk Man so hopefully we can get some kind of idea on why he attacked Jeff Jarrett. Randy Hales will also be here to tell us what is happening with the situation regarding the #1 contender to the USWA World Title. Koko Ware is back in Memphis and he will be here today to – apparently the Birdman has a challenge that he wants to lay out to somebody here in the USWA. Dave Brown then sends us up to the ring for our first match of the morning. The Rock n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeat Scott Studd & The Great Kendo at 6:14 when Morton and Gibson hit the double dropkicks on The Great Kendo score to score the pin.*Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson were celebrating when “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant and David Cash made their way out to the ring. Cash got on the microphone and said he understood things were done between their two teams – the Rock n’ Rolls won the feud. However, David thinks he and Ricky Morton have something more to settle. Cash says this started out admiration for Morton, but he doesn’t have a shred of respect for him anymore. What he’s asking for is one singles match – one on one – this Tuesday night between them. Win lose or draw, Ricky Morton will never have to deal with David Cash after the match. Morton is boastful as ever as he says the only possible option is ‘win’ for him… he’ll take the match. But, David Cash should be careful what he wishes for because Morton is going to make absolutely sure that this feud is dead and buried this Tuesday night. The four man face off, until Morton and Gibson walk off to the dressing room. . . commercial break . . . *VTR: The Honky Tonk Man is grinning as he stands in front of the WWF logo. Honky says he knows his fans were overjoyed to see him play his favorite tune all over Jeffrey Jarrett’s head on Tuesday at the Coliseum. HTM says Jeff has only himself to blame – did he really think the Honky Tonk Man would defend the honor of Jerry “The King” Lawler? Honky says he’s always hated his cousin Jerry and he feels the same way about the Jarrett family. HTM says if Jeffrey isn’t careful, he might just have to come back and lay down another Shake Rattle n’ Roll on Jeffrey, his daddy Jerry and even grandpa Eddie Marlin! We then go back to the studio where Jeff Jarrett is standing by, shaking his head. Jeff admits he made a huge mistake by trusting the Honky Tonk Man. However, he’s not just going to let this go. Jeff wants to take HTM up on his offer – he’s challenging Honky to meet him in the ring on Tuesday night at the Coliseum. Jarrett tells Lance he sure as hell hasn’t forgotten about what Bill Dundee and Tommy Rich did to Jerry Lawler, but he has to settle this first. Jarrett then heads up to the ring for the next match. Jeff Jarrett defeats “Missouri Tiger” Jeff Gaylord at 5:12 when he forces Steele to submit to the Figure Four Leg Lock. *Dr. Don Callis is out next with the Truth Commission en masse. Lance announces that this team will get their shot at PG-13’s USWA World Tag Team Titles this week at the Coliseum. Callis says it about time this match was made – clearly Randy Hales couldn’t turn a blind eye to his team’s success any longer! The doctor goes on to say that unlike PG-13, The Truth Commission are an elite fighting force and they are poised to take that step towards greatness. Callis: “First Memphis, then the world!” Callis leads his men away as Koko Ware makes his return to the studio! Koko shakes hands with the fans, Lance and Dave. He then says he and Frankie are overjoyed to be back home and they are looking for action. Koko saw what Bill Dundee and Tommy Rich did to Jerry Lawler a few weeks back – and he didn’t like it! Koko says he hasn’t always gotten along with Lawler, but he respects The King. So he is challenging Dundee or Rich to take him on this Tuesday night at the Coliseum for a little payback! Lance and Dave then send us to break as Koko struts around the ringside area with Frankie. . . . commercial break . . . . *Brian Christopher, with a heavily bandaged rib section, is out next and he tells Lance and Dave he’s here for one reason. Brian says a lot of people think he’s crazy for going toe to toe with Awesome Kong, but he will not let who is bankrolling this monster take him out. This brings out Awesome Kong, along with the smaller man wearing a black ski mask and black leather clothing. Kong says Christopher must be crazy to show up here again. Brian retorts that he might just be certifiable because he wants another match with Kong this Tuesday night. Not just a regular match – he wants a Russian Chain Match with the big man! Awesome Kong laughs and says Brian is just making this job easier and easier for him. The big man consults with his second and then agrees to the match – but warns Brian that Tuesday night he’s going to flattened like a pancake. A flattened, bloody pancake. Christopher says he’ll take his chances and then walks off to the dressing room. Christopher eyes the man in the ski mask, but it’s not really possible to get an idea who the diminutive man is. Awesome Kong (w/ the mystery man) pins Dusty Wolfe at 6218 with a big running splash that destroys poor Dusty.*The commissioner of Smokey Mountain Wrestling Bob Armstrong and his charge Tracy Smothers are out next. Armstrong says his disappointment in Memphis grows on a weekly basis. The fact of the matter is Tracy Smothers shouldn’t have even been in a new #1 contender’s match because he’d already won one over Billy Travis! Bob asks Randy Hales to come out here and make this right. A flustered Hales comes out and tries to tell Armstrong that he’s trying to find a solution, but can’t make a ruling quite yet. Bob accuses Randy of covering his personal favorites, but Hales denies that he is friendly with either Terry Gordy or Sycho Sid. This brings out Terry Gordy, who urges Smothers to face him right here today on TV. Hales won’t allow that, but what he will allow is a tag team match for this Tuesday while he figures everything out. It will be Terry Gordy teaming with USWA World Heavyweight Champion Sycho Sid at the Coliseum! Bob Armstrong interrupts and says it’s obvious that Randy is stacking the deck against Smothers again. Armstrong: “Who’d you pick for Tracy’s partner? Let me guess – The Gambler or TD Steele?” Hales calmly says that’s not the case – Tracy’s partner is going to be Bob Armstrong! A wave of fear washes over Armtrong’s and he begins protesting as Randy Hales walks off, while Gordy and Smothers stare each other down. . . . commercial break . . . *Lance Russell and Dave Brown are joined by telephone by USWA World Heavyweight Champion Sycho Sid. Sid tells Lance Russell that he did not come to Memphis for tag team action – he came here to prove he’s the best singles wrestler in the world. Sycho Sid said he’ll play Randy Hales’ game this Tuesday night – then he wants Smothers or Gordy or BOTH in the ring. Sid hangs up as Buddy Landell makes his way into the studio. Buddy says he knows he hasn’t been the nicest guy here in Memphis so he’s not looking for any sympathy for what happened at the Coliseum. Buddy says the only reason he interfered was to keep his manager Scott Bowden out of trouble. He doesn’t like The Dirty White Boy and could care less if the guy was crippled. But now Buddy has a problem. Landell says he may be a twisted, double-dealing conniver, but he’s not a sissy. He can’t let Billy Jack Haynes get away with embarrassing him. Buddy knows Scott Bowden agreed to a number of open contracts for Billy Jack Haynes a few weeks ago – well, one of them is a little less open. Landell says he’ll see Billy Jack at the Coliseum and he might just break that jacked-up moron’s legs. Buddy: “That’s right, I said it!” Landell walks off as Lance and Dave send us up to the ring. USWA World Tag Team Champions PG-13 (JC Ice & Wolfie D) defeat High Voltage (Robbie Rage & Kenny Kaos) at 8:34 when Wolfie D came off the second rope with a knee drop on Kenny Kanos to score the pin.*PG-13 make their way over to the desk, where Lance Russell asks them if they are concerned about facing the Truth Commission. Wolfie D tells Lance that he and Ice take all of their opponents seriously and obviously Sniper and Recon are very impressive wrestlers. However, PG-13 have beaten a lot of really great teams and they plan to do it again on Tuesday night at the Coliseum. Lance and Dave thank PG-13 for the interview and then move on to promote the USWA debut of The Headbangers. Dave says he’s seen these guys wrestle up in the WWF and they are two very interesting characters. Lance sends us to a special music video featuring The Headbangers in action against the very best of the World Wrestling Federation. . . . commercial break . . . *Bill Dundee and Tommy “Wildfire” Rich are out before the main and both are in a gregarious mood. Dundee admits he never thought much of “old Wayne Farris”, but he likes him a lot more after seeing Jeff Jarrett eat a Shake Rattle n’ Roll. The Superstar then laughs about Koko Ware challenging him or Tommy earlier on in the program. Dundee says he remembers when Koko used to be a junior heavyweight – he’s had a few too many trips to the buffet since then! Lance says he’s heard about enough and just wants to know if one of them will accept the challenge made by Koko earlier on. Dundee laughs and says Wildfire is booked to wrestle here today, he’ll do Tommy a favor and take Koko on himself on Tuesday at the Mid-South Coliseum. Rich jokes that it should be an easy night at the office for him on Tuesday night. Tommy then asks Lance just who he’s facing today because the line-up sheet in the back just said “Tommy Rich vs. HJ”. Who’s HJ? At that point, some music hit in the studio and it became clear just who HJ is! IT’S HILLBILLY JIM OF THE WWF!!!!! Hillbilly Jim defeats Tommy “Wildfire” Rich (w/ Bill Dundee) at 7:43 when Bill Dundee entered the ring and attacked Hillbilly Jim. Rich and Dundee double-teamed Hillbilly, until Koko Ware and Jeff Jarrett ran in and began brawling with them. Hillbilly was up as well and he booted Rich out to the floor! Dundee bails as well and both men curse Hillbilly Jim out on the floor, before taking off. Hillbilly Jim stops by the desk and says he’d like a rematch on Monday, which Lance says he’s sure will be arranged since Rich is free. *Lance Russell Dave Brown then take a few moments to wrap up today’s show and also announce the line-up for Tuesday night at the Mid-South Coliseum. Jeff Jarrett vs. The Honky Tonk Man

The War To Settle The Score Ricky Morton vs. David Cash

PLUS MORE! *Lance Russell and Corey Macklin are out before the card begins to welcome everyone to the Mid-South Coliseum. Lance announces a full night of action and it’s about ready to get under way here in Memphis! -1- Tony Falk pins Tony Williams at 10:45 when Falk connected with a running knee lift on the promising rookie Williams. -2- Billy Jack Haynes defeats Buddy Landell at 9:34 with a brutal Full Nelson slam. Scott Bowden was torn up over his two clients fighting and stood in neither man’s corner. Bowden tried to get the two men to shake hands after the match, but Landell kicked Haynes below the belt and walked out! Bowden was apoplectic as Haynes got back up and then stormed around ringside – throwing chairs and even one of the announce tables! -3- Tommy “Wildfire” Rich pins Hillbilly Jim at 8:34 when he caught Jim with a Lou Thesz Press and stayed on top for the cover. -4- In a Russian Chain Match, ”Too Sexy” Brian Christopher defeats Awesome Kong (w/ the mystery man) at 8:34 when he connected with a flying leg drop off the top rope. Kong dominated the entire match, until Christopher was able to gather enough chain and then choke Kong out with. The ski-mask wearing mystery briskly left ringside as the three count was being made. Brian looked to go after the man after his hand was raised, but the masked individual was gone. -5- In the final grudge match, David Cash (w/ Jimmy Valiant) pins Ricky Morton (w/ Robert Gibson) with a small package. Morton punished Cash for most of the match, but the tide turned when Robert Gibson attempted to interfere. Valiant rant over and brawled with Gibson, distracting Morton. Ricky reached out to grab Valiant, only to get a knee to the back from Cash. Cash then connected with a hangman’s neckbreaker to score the clean pin on Morton! Cash and his mentor Valiant celebrated like crazy on the floor, while Ricky Morton sat in the ring with his head in his hands! -6- Jeff Jarrett pins The Honky Tonk Man at 7:45 with the Shake Rattle n’ Roll. Honky paid the price for turning on Double J last week by getting the holy heck beat out of him from bell to bell in this one. Jarrett grabbed Honky’s guitar after the match and smashed it over his head – an exclamation point on an already emphatic win. --INTERMISSION— -7- The Truth Commission (Sniper & Recon) (w/ Dr. Don Callis & Tank) defeat USWA World Tag Team Champions PG-13 (JC Ice & Wolfie D) at 15:44 when Recon came off the top rope with a double knee drop to score the pin on JC Ice, while Sniper and Wolfie D brawled on the floor. This was a back-and-forth battle, with both Dr. Callis and Tank taking some cheap shots from time to time. The finish came out of nowhere after JC Ice missed a running senton splash. PG-13 were obviously upset after the match as Dr. Callis grabbed the titles and celebrated with his team. -8- Tracy Smothers & Bob Armstrong defeat Terry Gordy & USWA Word Heavyweight Champion Sycho Sid at 15:03 when Smothers pinned Gordy in the middle of the ring. Armstrong picked his shots throughout the match, but finally got caught by Gordy. Terry peppered Armstrong with right hands and then flung him into the ropes, where Bob collided with Sycho Sid. Gordy leveled Armstrong with a right hand, but now an angry Sid was in the ring demanding to know what happened! Gordy wasn’t taking any sass and tried to push past Sid, only to get gripped by the throat and choke-slammed by the champion! Sid then left the ring as Armstrong tagged out to Smothers. Tracy covered and scored the win for his team! *Bob Armstrong and Tracy Smothers continued to stomp on Terry Gordy after the bell as Sid looked on from the aisle. Obviously thinking better of his prior actions, Sycho Sid ran back in and booted both Smothers and Armstrong to the floor. Sid then helped Terry Gordy to his feet, only for Gordy to lock him in the Asiatic Spike! The submission hold brought Sid to his knees, until half the dressing room arrived to separate these two! -9- Koko Ware pins Bill “Superstar” Dundee (w/ Tommy Rich) at 20:12. Ware and Dundee had a great brawl here, with Koko eventually connecting with a big dropkick that knocked The Superstar for a loop. Rich then jumped on the apron to distract Jerry Calhoun, forcing Koko over as well. Koko collared Rich and looked ready to strike Wildfire as the referee urged him not to. Dundee began to stir in the ring, when suddenly a man in a hooded parka jumped the railing and entered the ring! The man pulled Dundee up, leveled him with a right hand and then hit a pile-driver behind the referee’s back! The man then rolled out to the floor and ripped off the parka to reveal – Jerry “The King” Lawler! The crowd went nuts as Lawler charged around the ring, pulled Rich down and leveled him right hand that sent Wildfire sprawling. Koko then made the cover on the prone Dundee to score the win! Koko and a chuckling Lawler were joined at ringside by Jeff Jarrett after the match so they could all get a good laugh at Dundee and Rich’s expense to end the night.
