Hudson, “Welcome to the beautiful Pritchard-Laughlin Civic Center in Cambridge, OH and welcome to 'Ohio Valley Championship Wrestling'. I'm Scott Hudson, here with my broadcast partner, Joe Pedicino and we are ready for some exciting action. Joe tell us about 'OVCW'.”

Pedicino, “Thank you Scott. 'OVCW' is a new professional wrestling organization based in Eastern Ohio. We will present cards in Eastern Ohio, as well as West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Our TV show will emanate from here in Cambridge. We will give you 60 minutes of the best pro wrestling action on TV. Not only will you see great action, but we will have a special feature each, and every, week. The third member of our announce team, Bonnie Blackstone, will host a segment entitled 'Bonnie's Boudoir'. With a name like that, you don't want to miss it.”

Hudson, “I'll be tuning in for that. We have many top wrestling stars here in 'OVCW', some I like, some I don't. The first group of men we will talk to fall into that second category. Let's bring out Brother Love and his entourage.”

Brother Love comes out with Big Bully Busick, Tex Slazenger, Shanghai Pierce and "Boy" Tony.

Love, “Scott Hudson, I don't care what you say, I LOOOOOOOVE YOOOOOU! I am Brother Love and I'm here to spread love in the Ohio Valley. My men are here to spread love in the world of wrestling. Let me introduce you to them. First of all, the 'Big Bullly', Nick Busick. Then we have the top tag team in wrestling, Tex Slazenger and Shanghai Pierce, and finally my 'Boy Friday' Boy Tony.”

Boy Tony, “Saturday too, and on special occasions, Tuesday afternoon!”

Hudson, “That's nice...I guess. Now Brother Love in the coming weeks, we will be holding tournaments to crown an 'Ohio Valley Champion' and 'Ohio Valley Tag Team Champions'. I'm sure your men will be involved in those tournaments.”

Love, “Yes they will. The best way for me to spread my message of love is to do it through my men's success in the ring. I expect to have both titles in my possession in a few short weeks.”

Hudson, “You have quite a stable assembled. We will see you tag team of Slazenger and Pierce in today's main event against another fine team, the 'Irish Brigade', now let's see Nick Busick in the ring.”

Pedicino is with David Sammartino.



Pedicino, “This man has a last name that is know all over wrestling, and especially in the Ohio Valley. With me is David Sammartino, the son of the legendary Bruno Sammartino. David welcome to 'OVCVW'.”

Sammartino, “Thank you Joe. I'm happy to be here.”

Pedicino, “David this is an exciting opportunity for wrestlers like yourself. This organization is just getting off the ground, looking for good wrestlers and you are one of them.”

Sammartino, “I think so. It is exciting to be part of a growing organization. I hear you talking about tournaments. I am putting my name in the hat for any title tournament that comes about.”

Pedicino, “David Sammartino is an immediate favorite for any title he goes after. Let's see him in the ring.”

David Sammartino def. Lord Zoltan (5:34) w/bearhug

Hudson is with “Irish” Bobby Clancy and “Irish” Mickey Doyle the “Irish Brigade”.

Hudson, “Gentlemen you are both fine wrestlers and you have formed and very formidable tag team. Tonight you meet Brother Love's team of Slazenger and Pierce. It won't be easy.”

Clancy, “That's right Scott, it won't be easy, but that's the way Mickey and I like it. We want a challenge.”

Doyle, “this area of the country is very special to me. I spent a lot of time wrestling in Detroit. The fans in the Midwest are the best. Bobby and I are proud of our Irish heritage and we are proud to wrestle for the fans in this area. Brother Love is a buffoon, but his men are tough. We won't have an easy time of it, but we are ready!”

Hudson, “What a main event we have for you. Now let's see 'Conan' Chris Walker in action.”

Pedicino is with Cpl. Kirschner.

Pedicino, “With me is Cpl. Kirschner. Cpl. Welcome to 'OVCW'.”

Kirschner, “Thank you Joe. I'm happy to be here.”

Pedicino, “We know you served our countryry bravely as a member of the Special Forces. You've brought that mentality to the ring.”

Kirschner, “It's a fight for survival. Men like Busick, Bull Pain, and Bruiser Mastino want to take you out. I'm ready for them.”

Pedicino, “Let's see Cpl. Kirschner take on Bull Pain.”

Cpl. Kirschner def. Bull Pain (7:03) w/cobra clutch

Pedicino, “Ladies and gentlemen, 'Bonnie's Boudoir'.

There is a set with a dressing table, mirror, two plush chairs with lace covers, a table with a lace covering. Bonnie Blackstone walks out wearing a long blue, lacy dressing gown.

Blackstone, “Hello everyone, I'm bonnie Blackstone and welcome to 'Bonnie's Boudoir'. If you want to get under the covers of professional wrestling and dig up all the dirt, this is where you want to bed. I have a special guest on today's edition. A man from Johannesburg, South Africa, Steve Simpson.”

Steve Simpson walks out. Blackstone kisses him on the cheek.

Blackstone, “Welcome Steve, please have a seat.”

Simpson sits down.

Blackstone, “Steve you have such beautiful hair. You really are one of the most handsome men in wrestling. I'm sure you drive the women wild.”

Simpson, “Excuse me ma'am. I thought we were going to talk about wrestling.”

Blackstone, “Yes, yes, let's talk about wrestling. You are here in 'OVCW', what are your plans?”

Simpson, “I've here to make a name for myself. I had success in my native South Africa and did well in Texas. This is a new organization and I'd like to wrestle the best and try to beat the best.”

Blackstone, “Well if you wrestle as well as you look, the other guys are in trouble. Tell me, where is your secret with your hair?”

Simpson, “Thank you ma'am,l but I'm not concerned with my hair. I wash it and comb it, that's all.”

Blackstone, “Well it works wonders. Wherever Steve Simpson wrestles, you can count on me being there.”

Simpson, “Thank you, I think.”

Tex Slanzenger and Shanghai Pierce w/Brother Love def. The Irish Brigade (8:56)
Referee Jack Doane is knocked down. This allows Boy Tony to climb on the ring apron and throw powder in Bobby Clancy's eyes. Pierce covers him and Doane recovers to count the fall.

Pedicino, “Welcome to ‘Ohio Valley Championship Wrestling’. What a show we had for you last week. Let’s see highlights from our tag team main event.”

We see Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce defeat the Irish Brigade thanks to “Boy Tony” throwing powder in Bobby Clancy’s face.

Hudson, “We will hear from both teams tonight. We will also have another edition of Boni’s Boudoir, This week her guest will be David Sammartino. Mr. Sammartino will be very busy this week as he is also in our main event. He will take on ‘The Big Bully’ Nick Busick and I am sure Brother Love and Boy Tony will be there. To start things off let’s go to the ring.”

Match #1
Steve Simpson def. Derrick Dukes (6:16) w/flying bodypress

Simpson is with Joe Pedicino.



Pedicino, “Steve that was a good win over a very tough opponent.”

Simpson, “Thank you Joe. Derrick is a fine wrestler and I’m glad to have beaten him.”

Pedicino, “There is a lot going on in the Ohio Valley. There are tournaments coming up for the single and tag team championship and you seem to have found a fan in Boni Blackstone.”

Simpson, “That lady is very pretty, but she’s a bit forward. I think I’ll stay clear of her. Now about wrestling, I have signed a contract to wrestle in the tournament for the singles title. There are going to be early round matches all over the area and I want to earn my way to the title.”

Pedicino, “Stay tuned to ‘Ohio Valley Championship Wrestling’ for more information about the upcoming tournaments. When we return Cpl. Kirschner will be in action.”

Match #2
Cpl. Kirschner vs. Lord Zoltan

Both men wait in the ring. Suddenly the lights go out there appears to be a struggle in the ring. The lights come on again and Kirschner is out cold. He is bleeding from what appear to be two bite marks in his neck. Lord Zoltan takes advantage of the situation and covers Kirschner. Referee Jack Doane has no choice but to count the fall.
Winner-Lord Zoltan (0:14)

Kirschner is helped to the back.

Hudson, “Fans I have no idea what just happened, but it did appear that Cpl. Kirschner had two bite marks in his neck. That is very strange. Let’s move from the ridiculous to the sublime. Let’s go to ‘Boni’s Boudoir’. Today her guest is David Sammartino.

Blackstone walks out in a beautiful white dressing gown. She sits down on the set.

Blackstone, “Welcome to ‘Boni’s Boudoir’ the place where we rip the covers off professional wrestling. My guest today is one of the strongest men in wrestling, and one of the most handsome, David Sammartino.”

Sammartino comes out. Blackstone kisses him on the cheek. He sits down.

Blackstone, “Look at those muscles. May I touch them?”

Sammartino looks taken aback as Blackstone reaches over and touches his bicep.

Sammmartino, “Excuse me ma’am can we talk about wrestling?”

Blackstone, “Yes we can. Now I’m sure you are going to wrestle in the tournament to decide the new champion. That handsome Steve Simpson says he’s going to do it. If you are both there I’ll be in the audience.”

Sammartino, “I definitely want to compete for the title it won’t be easy, but I think I have a good chance to win.”

Blackstone, “You might, but guys like Nick Busick are pretty tough. You might have your hands full tonight.”

Sammartino, “I know that, but I want to face the best competition I can find, and Busick is just that.”

Blackstone, “Make sure you get out and see this muscular young man in action, I’ll be there.”

Match #3
“Conan” Chris Walker and Vic Steamboat def. Chaz Taylor and C.W. Bergstrom (7:39) Steamboat w/flying bodypress vs. Taylor

Pedicino is with Brother Love and his entourage.



Pedicino, “With me is Brother Love and his men. Brother Love your tag team, Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce, got a cheap win over the’ Irish Brigade’. We all saw ‘Boy Tony’ throw powder in Bobby Clancy’s face.”

Love, “Joe Pedicino I LOOOOVE YOOOOU! It’s just a shame your eyesight is so poor. Tony was shouting instructions to our men. Bobby Clancy grabbed him and tried to steal his bag of makeup and it spilled into the ring. Clancy was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, but we understand. My men and are here to spread love, and understanding, not ill will.”

Pedicino, “That may be the most ridiculous explanation I’ve ever heard. The only true part of the story is Tony and his makeup. Anyway, your man, Nick Busick, meets David Sammartino tonight. Many people think they are the two top contenders for the ‘Ohio Valley’ Title.”

Love, “That’s right, the ‘Big Bully’ is ready for action. David Sammartino is just a small roadblock in our path. We expect to add both the singles and tag team titles to our collection.”

Pedicino, “That may happen, and if it does, Brother Love will be even harder to deal with.”

Match #4
Bruiser Mastino def. The Navajo Warrior (4:54) w/shoulder block

Hudson is with Bruiser Mastino.

Hudson, “With me is Bruiser Mastino. Bruiser you were very impressive. I am sure you have your sights set on the title tournament.”

Mastino, “I plan on winning the title. I am the unstoppable force, no one in the Ohio Valley can stop me. You saw what I did to Chief Running Chicken in there! I’ll do the same thing to Simpson, Sammartino, anyone who steps in the ring with me!”

Hudson, “Bruiser Mastino is a force to be reckoned with. Stay tuned to ‘Ohio Valley Championship Wrestling’ in the coming weeks for more information about the titles tournaments. When we return our main event will be in the ring.”

Match #5
David Sammartino vs. “The Big Bully” Nick Busick w/Brother Love and Boy Tony

The match goes back and forth until Sammartino clamps on the bearhug. Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce hit the ring followed by the Irish Brigade. The show ends with a six man brawl.

We have a six man tag team match in our main event. Brother Love’s crew, Nick Busick, Tex Slazanger, and Shangai Pierce take on the Irish Brigade and David Sammartino, also Brother Love and his men will be the guests on ‘Boni’s Boudoir. You won’t want to miss that. Let’s bring out Cpl. Kirschner.”

Kirschner joins Pedicino and Hudson.



Pedicino, “Cpl. Kirschner something very strange happened last week. You were waiting for your match, the lights went out, someone, apparently attacked you, and then you were left in the ring, unconscious, and with what appeared to be bite marks in your neck.”

Kirschner, “it was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. The lights went out and someone jumped me from behind. He hit me with something and I was out. I never got a look at him. They helped me to the back and I saw the bite marks, I have no idea what happened.”

Pedicino, “Very, very strange indeed. Cpl. Kirschner is going to the ring to take on C.W. Bergstrom, what will happen tonight?”

Match #1
Cpl. Kirschner def. C.W. Bergstrom (5:51) w/cobra clutch

After the match the lights go out again. This time a red light bathes the ring. We hear a sinister voice, “Kirschner you survived the first attack. You won’t be so lucky next time.”

Pedicino, “What is going on around here? When we return, Brother Love and his men will be in ‘Boni’s Boudoir.”

Boni Blackstone walks out in a pale pink dressing gown. Brother Love comes out with Nick Busick, Boy Tony, Tex Slazanger and Shanghai Pierce. Boni tries to kiss Brother Love on the cheek, but he refuses and wags his finger at her. Love sits down and his men stand behind him.

Boni, “With me today is Brother Love and his entourage. Brother Love not too many men turn down a kiss from Boni.”

Love, ‘Miss Boni you are a beautiful woman, but I am a man of the cloth. I must remain chaste and pure.”

Boy Tony, “I don’t blame you boss, I wouldn’t want a kiss from her either.”

Busick, “Yea, there’s a big surprise.”

Love, “Gentlemen that will be enough. Miss Blackstone has offered us this chance to speak with her and we will be gentlemen.”

Boni, “Thank you Brother Love. Now tell me about this big six man tag team match. Your men meet the Irish Brigade and that muscular David Sammartino.”

Love, “My men are ready. In the coming days the tournaments will be announced. You can expect my men to win the titles and continue to spread LOOOOOVE around the wrestling world.”

Boni, “Thank you Brother Love and good luck to you and your men.”

Love, “Thank you Miss Blackstone, and remember I LOOOOVE YOOOOU, in an innocent way.”

Hudson is with Chris Walker.



Hudson, “Chris that was a great win. You have impressed everyone here in Ohio Valley Championship Wrestling. You are a strong young man and you have backed that up in the ring.”

Walker, “That you Scott. I am having a great time here. The competition is good and I’m looking forward to the upcoming tournament for the singles title.”

Hudson, “’Conan’ Chris Walker will be a threat for that singles title.”

Bull Pain def. Navajo Warrior (4:59) w/clothesline

Pedicino is with Vic Steamboat.

Pedicino, “With me is Vic Steamboat. Vic you have arrived in the area and have been very impressive. You have one of the most famous names in wrestling. I know living up to that is a challenge.”

Steamboat, “Yes it is. My brother, Rick, is a legend in the sport. I wanted to make a name for myself and I thought this new area was the place to do it.

Pedicino, “Vic what are your plans?”

Steamboat, “I plan on taking on anyone and everyone. I’ll wrestle singles, or tag team. I just want to compete.”

Pedicino, “Let’s see Vic Steamboat in the ring.”

Vic Steamboat def. Lord Zoltan (5:09) w/flying body press

Hudson is with David Sammartino and the Irish Brigade.

Hudson, “Gentlemen in a few moments you go to the ring to meet Brother Love’s men. In the short few weeks of OVCW you six men have developed quite a rivalry.”

Doyle, “Brother Love is a fruitcake, but his men are tough. Busick is one of the strongest men in the sport and Pierce and Slazanger are double tough. Bobby and I want the tag titles and there is a good chance we will have to go through them. Tonight will be a good test.”

Clancy, “Mickey’s right. Love is really strange, not as strange as that cretin Tony that follows him around, but that bunch he has is a handful. We’re glad to have David with us and it will be a fight, but I like our odds.”

Sammartino, “I couldn’t ask for two better partners. I’m not one for a lot of talk, so let’s get in there and get this done!”

Hudson, “The six man is next.”

Six Man Tag Team Match
David Sammartino and the Irish Brigade vs. “Big Bully” Nick Busick, Tex Slazanger and Shangai Piercer w/Brother Love and Boy Tony

The match is a brawl. All six men end up in the ring. In the confusion Bobby Clancy rolls up Shanghai Pierce in a small package and referee Jack Doane counts the fall.
Winners-David Sammartino, and the Irish Brigade (8:13)
