07/06/94 - Nassau Coliseum Uniondale, NYMean Gene Okerlund welcomes the Wrestling Fans to Eastern Championship Wrestling; tonight live from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. "The Genius" Lanny Poffo brings up the fact that last time Eastern Championship was at Nassau Coliseum was the night of the Steel Cage match between "Macho Man" Randy Savage and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson that nearly ended AA's career. And that tonight Arn has to be weary stepping into the ring again here with Savage; even if they're on the same side tonight. Gene agrees with this and says that anything can and will happen here at Eastern Championship. As clearly evidenced last week when half the roster helped Papa Shango and The Dark Circle attack the both Eastern Heavyweight Champion Randy Savage and Arn Anderson following Savage's match with Devon Hughes. Poffo says that the situation was scary as the men involved seemed as if they were possessed. Okerlund scoffs and asks if Lanny really believes any of that voodoo nonsense. "The Genius" isn't sure what to believe. Both men wonder whether or not either man will even be able to compete in tonight's match after such an assault. Okerlund then runs down the card; hyping the Tag-Team Title match between Champs The New Orient Express and their challengers Deep South; and the big Tag-Team Main Event which will see Arn Anderson and Randy Savage form a shaky alliance against Papa Shango and his Dark Circle cronies.
White Zombie's "Thunderkiss '65" then hits heralding the appearance of "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho; who gets a pretty big pop being on Long Island while Beulah McGillicutty indtroduces him. Inside the ring mic in hand Jericho says that it's good to be home amongst smart wrestling fans, his people; "The Jerichoholics." He then apologizes for letting them down last time he got into the ring with one "Ragged" Ronnie Garvin. That he was too distracted making sure he kept to his word of not using the same move twice in the same match; that he lost focus and ended up losing the match as a result. And that otherwise he would've defeated Garvin with an easy 1-2-3.
Garvin then enters accompanied to no music as usual. He tells Jericho that he's nothing more than a pretty boy with a big mouth and that he defeated "The Loud-Mouth" for one reason and one reason alone. He's the better wrestler.Match: Chris Jericho vs. Ronnie Garvin The action is fast paced as both men start off the match by hitting each other with numerous deep armdrags. Garvin attempts to get Jericho to submit several times; but "The Loud-Mouth" always manages to snake his way to the ropes getting referee S.D. Jones to break the hold. Meanwhile Chris Jericho gets several near falls on Ronnie Garvin as he pulls out all the stops, hitting the springboard moonsault, a missile dropkick; and a German suplex with bridge to no avail. "The Rugged One" simply won't stay down. Finally however a desperate Jericho whips Garvin into the ropes and connects with a diving roll-up; grabbing himself a handful of tights to secure the win. Chris makes his exit quickly after Jones hits the three leaving a livid Garvin still inside the ring arguing heatedly with the ref.Once he welcomes us back Okerlund says he doubts Ronnie Garvin is going to take Jericho's antics lying down. To which Poffo retorts of course not; he just took them lying flat on his back for a three count. Okerlund then talks up both Scott Taylor who has shown marked improvement since helping to get Arn Anderson back in shape for his in-ring return and the young big man Rhino who he says is a "Man-Beast." Lanny meanwhile keeps "accidentally" referring to Taylor as Steve Taylor.
Just then "Paradise City" by Guns N Roses hits as Scott Taylor explodes down the ramp and gets inside the ring with referee Danny Davis to pose for the lukewarm crowd. Rhino then emerges from the back accompanied to "Debonaire" by Dope.Match: Scott Taylor vs. Rhino Scott Taylor plays keep away from "The Man-Beast" Rhino early on; but it's only a matter of time before Rhino who is surprisingly fast and agile for his size catches and begins beating "The Superstar" down. Scott holds his own for several minutes; but is clearly outmatched and when he kip-ups following a clothesline; he immediately finds himself on the receiving end of Rhino's Gore striking spear; that puts an end to the match.Poffo finds Scott Taylor's efforts funny and says that you didn't have to be Nostradamus to predict the outcome for that one. Okerlund doesn't seem to agree; but drops it. He then gives a status report on "The U.K. Kidd" Doug Williams who was rushed to the American Friends of Laniando Hospital last week after hitting the guardrail face first following a missed plancha as The Manhattan Center in his match with "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch. He says the doctor's say Williams will be okay, but will be out indefinitely after breaking his jaw in three places. Okerlund says that he, the fans; and everyone at Eastern Championship wish Doug Williams a speedy recovery. He then hypes the next match in which Velvet McIntyre will face off against former Women's Champion and current number one contender Jacqueline Moore.Match: Velvet McIntyre vs. Jacqueline Moore The match has good back and forth with neither woman having the clear advantage. McIntyre nearly gets Jacqueline to tap via an ankle lock before she makes it to the ropes. Velvet however goes down for the count after a German suplex with bridge that gets "Miss Texas" the three from referee Teddy Long. Gene Okerlund welcomes everyone back and reminds everyone that next week Eastern Champioship Wrestling will be hosted live from the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut. And that for those folks viewing at home they will be right here on their home station of TNN The Nashville Network. He and Lanny then recap the events of two week's ago in which The Junk Yard Dog pinned Yoshihiro Tajiri in a tag-team match between Deep South and The New Orient Express that set up the Tag-Team Championship Match officiated by S.D. Jones we're about to see.
"Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen plays as "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch waves his cowboy hat to the crowd while Junk Yard Dog rattles his chain and barks. Inside the ring Murdoch and The Dog talk smack about the yellow, no-good New Orient Express until The Kaientai Theme sounds and Mr. Fuji leads the Tag Champs to the ring. Mr. Fuji tells Deep South that they got lucky last week because Yoshihiro Tajiri got some "American sweat" in his eye before fat Junk Yard Dog "fell" on top of him. And that this is exactly why out-of-shape hillbillies should be banned from Wrestling; but of course that would mean they'd have to close the UWF and NWA. Mwahaha. Murdoch then tells Mr. Fuji that he'd better shut his goo-- but Junk Yard Dog tells him to calm down. Captain Redneck then continues by warning Fuji if he doesn't shut his "Jap Yap" he'll bust it in three places like he did to that punk Williams. This gets him some boos from "U.K. Kidd" fans. Of which Lanny Poffo believes there are three.Tag-Team Title Match: Deep South vs. The New Orient Express This match is heated and brutal as both teams look to put one another away. Things start off with Yoshihiro Tajiri and Junk Yard Dog; but a Shining Wizard followed by a ping attempt sends The Dog looking for the tag to Murdoch. Inside the ring Tajiri and Murdoch lay into one another with several power moves; including a back body drop from Tajiri on Murdoch that stuns the crowd. "The Japanese Buzzsaw" is sent crawling to his own corner after a powerbomb that nearly gets "Captain Redneck" the pin; and after several failed attempts thanks to Murdoch he tags in Taka Michinoku. The freshest man in the match; Taka keeps Dick on the defensive throughout their time in the ring together with several high flying and daring maneuvers. Out of breath and tired Murdoch tags JYD back in. The Dog delivers the pain to Michinoku after catching his much faster opponent in mid-air after a failed moonsault off the top rope. An Irish whip changes the course of the match however when Taka baseball slides through Junk Yard's legs and hops up with a dropkick to the back of the old veteran. After several minutes and a hurrancanrana on JYD; Taka Michinoku locks in an arm trap bridging cobra clutch he calls The Dick Killer which after several painful minutes sees The Dog submit giving The New Orient Express the win to retain the belts."The Enforcer" Arn Anderson enters the backstage door with his gym bag in hand. He's bruised and limping a bit. He's approached in the hallway by Jerry "The King" Lawler. Anderson quickly throws down his gym bag and looks ready for a fight. Lawler tells Anderson to calm down. That he isn't here to fight; but apologize. He says he's seen the tapes of what he and the other members of the roster did to him and Randy Savage; but can barely remember it. It was like he was in a haze. Not in control of his body. And that he can't believe he did what he did. Ol' AA seems more than a little skeptical and tells "The King" to just stay the hell out of his way in the future and that he's got bigger fish to fry at the moment.
Back at ringside Lanny says that this proves he was right. Which of course shouldn't have been a question; him being a "Genius" and all. Gene Okerlund however still doesn't buy this whole posession thing and wonders if the men who attached Amderson and Savage last week have formed some sort of a pact with Papa Shango and The Dark Circle to weaken the Heavyweight Champion and get them one step closer to the Title. He then reminds the fans that one of the contestants in the next match was involved in the assault. And while he isn't mentioning any names; he hopes Erin O'Grady gets his ass kicked.Match: Matt Borne vs. Erin O'Grady After tossing his gold coins to the crowd; "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady enters the ring and is immediately assaulted by Matt Borne. Borne tears into O'Grady; allowing him very little offense; until Danny Davis tells him to back off after pummeling Erin into the corner following up to a four count. A bit worse for wear; "The Leprechaun" manages to hit both a bulldog and an "Irish-canrana" on Borne which gets him a two count before Matt Borne ends up nailing him with a powerbomb on the corner turnbuckle for the win.Papa Shango is backstage in the locker room which is dimly lit when Eastern Championship comes back on air. Shango tells Brickhouse Brown and Manami Toyota that tonight's Match is very important to their Dark Lord. And that he has been instructed to win by any means necessary or they will all face dire consequences. When he says this the torch they have lit in the room flares up and Shango looks at it in fear.Match: Steve Corino vs. Mike Sharpe Steve Corino does his best to wear our his opponent Mike Sharpe as he ducks and dodges Canada's Greatest Athlete. Corino pisses off "Iron Mike" with a sitout hiptoss and constant and sometime valid complaints to referee Teddy Long. In the end however all it takes is a running forearm smash from Sharpe to put the Sea Isle City native away and take home a win for Canada. After the match Rick Rude's strip theme hits as he comes strutting out from the back.He doesn't get to far however when "Macho Man" Randy Savage emerges from the back and spinning him around toward him nails him with a hard right.Savage is battered and bruised from last week's attack. And noticeably pissed. He lifts Rude up by his hair and screams at him before slapping him in the face knocking him backward onto his ass. He then piledrives him into the ramp."Macho Man" Randy Savage is inside the ring already pacing like a caged tiger as Chris Jericho and Eric Bischoff help Rick Rude to his feet and backstage. Savage says that's right. To get Rick Rude's ass out of his arena. He says that Arn Anderson may not have time for those damn turncoats last week; but that The Macho Man will paying each and every one of those guys a visit. Dig it. He goes on to say that Papa Shango's reign of terror ends tonight. Yeah. That he and "The Enforcer" while they don't like it; will come together as one unified force to take down The Dark Circle once and for all. Ooh yeah. He then hands Beulah back here microphone and tells her to let's get this thing started. First out is Savage's Tag-Team partner Arn Anderson. Inside the ring Anderson hesitantly extends his hand to Randy and after the crowd getting behind it he reluctantly takes it. Together they wait.
Mist fills the arena as the lights go dark. On the ramp Papa Shango appears with Brickhouse Brown and Manami Toyota. Voodoo drums sound as Beulah introduces The Dark Circle.Tag-Team Main Event: Arn Anderson & Randy Savage vs. The Dark Circle Randy Savage insists he gets into the ring first with Brickhouse Brown and referee S.D. Jones. Brickhouse seems very hesitant to start the match off; but Shango insists on it. Savage immediately lays into Brickhouse with hard lefts and rights. After a few seconds Brown recuperates and the two men begin trading punches until Randy who has the clear adfvantage whips his opponent across the ring. Chasing after him "Macho Man" leaps over the top rope and nails a hair-pull hangman sending Brickhoouse staggering back. Sliding back into the ring Randy hits an atomic drop on his dazed foe. He doesn't look to make the pin however. Lifting Brown to his feet by his hair; the Heavyweight Champ runs hims face first into the turnbuckle. It's obvious he just wants to hurt Brickhouse as he grabs the top rope and begins stomping on him. Rushing to his aide Manami Toyota pulls Brown from the ring. Angered by this; Savage turns; right into a running clothesline from Papa Shango who has entered illegally. Picking Savage up to his feet he Irish whips him into the opposite corner and comes running in with a big body avalanche. He is about to start stomping on the Champ when someone tugs Shango by the shoulder. It's Arn Anderson! Anderson begins hammering on Shango in the corner while Randy regains his footing. Anderson hits a hard left on Shango, when Macho Man hits a right. Just then Anderson and Randy stop and stare at one another. After several tense moments; the two men turn back to Shango and take him down with a double punch before they begin stomping a mud hole in him. Together they lift Shango and whip him into the ropes. On the return they nail "The Soul Stealer" with a double flapjack. Referee Jones is finally able to restore order as he gets Anderson to leave the ring followed by Shango. Suddenly out of nowhere Brickhouse Brown nails Savage with a diving tackle to the back. Lifiting the Champ up to his feet he nails him with a backbreaker over his knee and goes for the cover getting a two count. Staying on the floor with him Brickhouse begins punching Randy in the face while holding him in a headlock. After a barrage of punches Brown gets to his feet, picking up Savage and hits a delayed vertical suplex. Going for the pin again he gets another two count. Now frustrated he picks up and Irish whips the battered Savage across the ring. On the rebound however Randy connects with a desperation high knee smash. He makes the tag! Arn Anderson is now the legal man and he begins stomping the legs of Brown before grabbing them and locking in the figure four leglock! Brown howls in pain and is on the verge of tapping when Papa comes to the rescue kicking "The Enforcer" in the head. While Arn gets to one knee Brown is back on his feet and immediately begins beating on his head and neck. Anderson however slaps Brickhouse away and starts punching and chopping him across the ring into the ropes. Whipping Brown across the ring; AA gets a surprise dropkick from Brown on the rebound. Brown goes for the cover getting a one count before Arn rolls him up in an inside cradle for two. Both men pop back up and begin trading punches until Anderson whips Brickhouse into his own corner and Papa Shango tags himself in. Shango and Anderson immediately charge one another with Anderson catching a big boot to the face. Going for the cover Papa Shango gets a two count on Anderson before he powers out. When Shango goes on the offensive again; Arn takes him down with an armdrag before hitting the same arm with a jumping knee drop and locking in the armbar. AA puts on the pressure; but "The Soul Stealer refuses to yeild and a frustrated Arn gives up on it. Lifting the big man to hits feet; Anderson hits the DDT and goes for the pin; getting a near three count before Shango kicks out. Arn keeps on him kicking and punching the voodo priest as he gets to his feet. Shango retreats into the ropes catching Arn offguard when he comes charging back with a diving spear. Grabbing Arn up he locks in an arm twist and knees the arm before pulling Anderson in close and hoists "The Enforcer" up into the air. Arn however slides down the big man's back, spins his opponent round and connects with a vicious jawbreaker over his head. Both men are down. The crowd comes alive cheering for Anderson as they both crawl to make the tag. And Arn gets it! Randy Savage explodes back into the ring. Grabbing Shango's legs he drags him into the center of the ring and hits an elbow drop to the back of his head; before rolling him over for the cover. 1...2... Shango powers out! 3! Savage is stunned and gets up to his knees. Taking advantage Papa Shango while on the floor kicks "Macho Man" in the face. Quickly he begins stomping on the Champ before picking him up with some effort. It's obvious Shango is hurting as he nails Savage with his inverted shoulderbreaker! The Champ is down! Papa Shango is quick to make the cover as S.D. makes the count. 1..2..3! Shango's won it! No. Wait. Jones is pointing to Savage's foot on the rope. Shango beats his hands on the ring in anger. Before getting back to his feet. Randy Savage however is already up and running at Shango. He leaps into the air and nails him with a jumping leg lariat! Fighting his way up to his feet, Savage drags himself to his corner and makes the tag to Arn Anderson. Shango is back up on one knee holding his head in pain. He sees Anderson coming and the two men explode in a flurry of fists in the center of the ring! Arn whips Shango across the ring and "The Soul Stealer" looks to capitalize with a big boot. Arn ducks under it and spins Shango around. He grabs the vood priest and hits the spinning spinebuster! Shango is down and Arn is distracted. Randy Savage is up top! He leaps and connects with a diving elbow on Shango! Randy rolls out of the ring while Arn Anderson makes the cover. 1...2...3!!! Anderson and Savage have won it! S.D. Jones raises both men's hands in victory and just before sharing a victory embrace they stop short. Arn Anderson and Randy Savage stare each other down as the...
Lights Fade.

07/13/94 - Hartford Civic Center Hartford, CTMean Gene and Lanny Poffo welcome the Wrestling Fans to the Hartford Civic Center here in Hartford Connecticut. They then recap last week's Main Event where heated rivals "Macho Man" Randy Savage and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson teamed to defeat the villains Black Circle following a Spinbuster from Arn and a flying elbow from Randy on Shango. Gene says it was an incredible matchup. Lanny has apparently seen better. They then run down to tonight's card which will see "The Ravishing One" Rick Rude in battle with fan-favorite "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff. The Women's Title will be on the line as Women's Champ "The Hawaiin Princess" Leilani Kai defends the Title against "Miss Texas" Jacqueline Moore. The Tag-Team champs The New Orient Express will also be in action tonight; but first a Women's Match. Poffo yawns.Beulah McGillicutty makes the introducstions for the first match. The Black Circle is noticeably absent when Manami Toyota makes her way down to the ring.Match: Velvet McIntyre vs. Manami Toyota Referee Danny Davis officiates this fast paced bout which sees Velvet McIntyre stun the crowd when she kicks out of Manami Toyota's Japanese Ocean Bomb. McIntyre takes a good deal of punishment; but makes the comback hitting a hurrancanrana followed by a back bodydrop on Toyota for the win.Gene welcomes the fans back and touts Velvet McIntyre's victory over Toyota as a huge win for the lass from Dublin, Ireland. Lanny says he's seen many of Velvet's matches and any win is a "big win" for her. Gene thinks this comment is unneccessary. He then hypes the next match in which Eastern Championship's Tag-Team Champs The New Orient Express will face off against a relatively new team here at Eastern Championship; the team of Mongo Vyle and Rhino; Devastation Inc.
Devastastion Inc. has new entrance music as they lumber down to the ring accompanied to Pantera's "Fucking Hostile." Mongo Vyle then takes the microphone from Beulah and thells the audience that this new song fits the mindset of him and Rhino to a T. That they're pissed. Angry that they've been robbed of Championships. Enraged that they're constantly put on the back burner while their television time is taken up by silly gimmick wrestlers like Buck Zumhoff or people with zero talent like The Stevies. He then passes the mic off to Rhino who says that they; Devastation Inc. aren't going to sit back and take these insults anymore. How when he first arrived here at Eastern Championship; he was saddled, weighed down with the extra baggage that is Blue Demon Jr. And that now with a partner worthy to fight at his side they will be taking the Tag-Team belts from that circus act The New Orient Express. That together they will prove they are the most dominant Tag-Team in wrestling today.
The Kaientai Theme then sounds as Taka Michinoku and Yoshihiro Tajiri appear on the ramp with their manager Mr. Fuji leading the way. Fuji says that many have tried to take the Titles should be thankful Blue Demon Jr. had the courage to do what his mother could not; when he stuck a mask over his ugly American head. He then suggests Mongo Vyle should do the same and that if they're not so inclined; they could always get a job at the circus. In the freak show. Hahaha.Tag-Team Match: Devastation Inc. (Mongo Vyle & Rhino) vs. The New Orient Express The New Orient Express then rush down and slide into the ring. When Devastation Inc. rush them; Taka and Tajiri hit a double dropkick sending both men down to the canvas. Teddy Long is quick to restore order and the match starts off with Mongo Vyle and Taka Michinoku in the ring. The Express use their speed and experience as a team to their advantage to maintain the lead early on; with quick tags and lots of double-teaming maneuvers on Vyle who is forced to tag in Rhino. Taka and Rhino have some good back and forth until Rhino catches Michinoku in mid-air when he tries for a slingshot crossbody and he takes the Champ down with a backbreaker over one knee. From there on out Rhino completely manhandles Michinoku and tags Mongo Vyle back in; who does the same after a vicious double flapjack. Neither man however is able to pin Michinoku who keeps kicking out to the frustration of his opponents. Finally Taka gets an opening when Mr. Fuji reaches in with his cane and trips Mongo up. Making the tag; a fired up Yoshihiro Tajiri comes in and takes Vyle down with an elaborate flying armdrag. On the outside meanwhile Rhino has picked up a steal chair and chases Mr. Fuji off into the crowd with it; before nailing Taka in the head with it when he comes to his manager's aide. This leaves Tajiri alone in the ring with Devastation Inc.; and though he puts up a valiant effort; there is simply too much double-teaming going on and after nailing their patented Death Drop flapjack/cutter combination on Tajiri; Rhino goes for the pin and picks up the win. When Eastern Championship returns; Papa Shango is seated on a bench with Brickhouse Brown when his pet raven flies onto his shoulder. Shango seems to talk to the bird for a bit before telling Brown that this isn't good. That the Dark Lord isn't happy with them. That their loss to Randy Savage and Arn Anderson last week has incurred the Dark One's wrath and Papa Shango himself has been out on notice. To win the Heavyweight Title or suffer the consequences. This is the first time we've seen Papa Shango nervous and he's acting more erratic than usual; waving his hands about and punching himself. Finally Brickhouse Brown lets out a shrill gasp and looks down as Shango's hands which have been mostly off-camera. They're covered in blood!! Shango looks spooked as he gazes down at his hands and then the floor. Where is raven lies dead. Brickhouse Brown tells Papa Shango that in his rage he killed it and Shango tells him to shut up. Taking off his top hat he sneakily scoops the bird inside it while telling Brown to keep watch. He then tells Brickhouse that he must help him get rid of it.
The camera then cuts to ringside where Lanny finds the whole ordeal laughable. And says who cares if Papa Shango killed his pet? Gene just sees it as another dispicable act by the leader of The Black Circle and hopes that whenever this "Dark Lord" shows up; he takes his trash away with him. Poffo then adds that a trashcan would be a good place for Shango to dispose of that bird too.
The Bill Conti Overture then hits and Jerry "The King" Lawler appears. To a chorus of boos. It's pretty apparent the fans haven't forgiven him about attacking Arn Anderson a few weeks back; even if he along with other members of the roster appeared to be possessed by Papa Shango at the time.
Getting inside the ring Lawler asks McGillicutty for the mic. She appears afraid to get to close to him when she hands it over. Lawler then addresses the audience. He says he understands why they're mad. And he doesn't blame them. That he doesn't understand why he did what he did; but he obviously did it. Videotape don't lie. He then says that while he did do it and though he can't rightly remember it he'd like to apologize for his actions to the fans here in Hartford, Connecticut, the folks at home; and mostly Arn Anderson. And even Randy Savage. He says he'd like it if "The Enforcer" would come out and accept his apology; because he's really cut up about it.
And after several minutes of waiting; it's obvious Anderson ain't coming. Instead Irish Folk music hits and "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady appears to his own chorus of boos due to the same event; and when he throws his gold coins to the crowd as usual; some of the fans actually throw them back. One even hits an annoyed O'Grady in the back of the head.Match: Jerry Lawler vs. Erin O'Grady The fans don't want to get behind either competitor and this noticeably bother Jerry Lawler more than Erin O'Grady who was never really a fan-favorite anyway. This distraction gives "The Leprechaun" several openings and when Lawler cornes him and climbs the second rope to deliver some fists to Erin; "The King" seems hurt by the hisses and boos from the audience before Erin pushes him down to the mat and nails a "Leprechaun Splash" from the top rope that puts "The King" away for the three count from S.D.Jones.Gene welcomes the Fans back to Eastern Championship Wrestling here at the Hartford Civic center and reminds the fans that next week they'll be live from the New Haven Coliseum in New Haven, Connecticut. Or right here on Eastern Championship's home channel of TNN The Nashville Network for those folks tuning in at home. He then recaps the events witnessed so far tonight; a night full of upsets. He mentions that the team of Devastastion Inc. are now number one contender's for the Tag-Team Championships after a big win over The New Orient Express. Poffo says this win shouldn't count because Rhino and Vyle are nothing but cheats unlike his honorably Japanese friends. Gene seems skeptical about how honorable Mr. Fuji and company are. He then talks about how negatively affected Jerry "The King" Lawler appeared due to the fan reaction here tonight and this led to what many may consider an upset victory for "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady. Poffo just thinks Lawler is a crybaby. Okerlund then hypes the next match in which the Women's Title is on the line as "The Hawaiin Princess" Leilani Kai defends her belt against former Women's Champ "Miss Texas" Jacqueline Moore. Women's Title Match: Leilani Kai vs. Jacqueline Moore Jacqueline Moore gets a DQ win here from Davis when after several minutes of completely dominating the Champ Leilani Kai; Kai rolled out of the ring and attempted to leave with the Women's Title. Moore kept on top of her opponent and rolled her back into the ring; but Kai already exited again by the time "Miss Texas" reentered and circling around the ring; "The Hawaiin Princess reentered belt in hand and smashed it over Moore's head. Leilani then screamed that the Championship belongs to her and stomped on Jacqueline a bit befor exiting the ring.
Okerlund is disgusted by Leilani Kai's actions and says that tonight Jacqueline Moore had the Champ's number and she knew it. That "Miss Texas" should now be a two time Women's Champ. Lanny says that may be true; but it didn't happen and Leilani Kai is right about the Title still being hers. We're then taken once again backstage; this time to the office of ECW President Eric Bischoff. Bischoff is making matches and as the camera looks over his shoulder we see him pencilling in a match for Randy Savage against... Kevin Nash?! He then crosses off Nash's name and says under his breath "What a loser." Just then Papa Shango bursts into the office on fire. Figuratively. He is with Brickhouse Brown and growls that he wants a rematch against "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the Eastern Heavyweight Title. That at his last Title Match he only lost due to interference of tha no good do gooder Arn Anderson and he deserves; no he's entitled; to a rematch. Bischoff seems to mull this over and then tells "The Soul Stealer" he will get his rematch on one condition. That in two weeks he defeats "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson in a number one contender's match. This seems to only infuriate Papa Shango further. Eric then asks Papa Shango why he has blood trickling down his head. Shango's head quickly goes to his top hat; which he holds down as he and Brown quickly leave Bischoff's office.
Back at ringside Gene and Lanny discuss the huge announcement just made by Eric Bishcoff while Beulah announces the opponent's in our next match. The Canadian National Anthem then hits as "Iron" Mike Sharpe appears with his Canadian flag in hand. Inside the ring he surprises Beulah by asking for the mic. Mike Sharpe says he knows he's not exactly known for being chatty. But tonight he has something to say. He says that as Canada's Greatest Athlete alot of people at this promotion; ECW; and others like it are afraid to get into a ring with him. That they are only too aware that Canada's brings about THE greatest athletes in the world. Bret Hart, Rick Martel, Ronnie Garvin, maybe even Chris Candido if you stretch it; but the point is the list goes on and on. But of course at the top of that heap? "Iron" Mike Sharpe. Now why? Hasn't CWF realized this? Quite simply put. Fear. Fear and jealousy. But Sharpe is going to make CWF notice him damnit. When; not if but when he wins the Eastern Heavyweight Championship. He's going to take it straight back to Canada and smack that schmuck Candido upside his head with it before taking his Championship too.Match: Mike Sharpe vs. Jim Brunzell Jim Brunzell gives as good as he gets early on and Mike Sharpe has to be warned several times by Teddy Long to keep things legal. Despite a couple near falls on Sharpe however; Brunzell ends up on the wrong end of "Iron" Mike's running forearm smash and it's lights out for him.Okerlund welcomes us back from the break as we get set for our next match. Poffo says it should be a short one as it features Stevie # 2. Gene doesn't agree but asks why Steven Richards gets the distinction of Stevie # 1. Poffo claims it's because he has slightly cooler theme music. "Thunderkiss '65" by White Zombie then sounds unleashing "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho who cuts a promo on Blackman which ends with him suggesting Steve stick his Kendo Stick up his ass. Mean Gene finds this type of language uncalled for. Lanny tells him to go form some Television Council if he finds it so indecent.Match: Chris Jericho vs. Steve Blackman Referee S.D. Jones does his best to keep up in this fast past bout in which Steve Blackman surprises with some of his arsenal including a moonsault off the top which gets him a two count on Chris Jericho. Jericho of course is no slouch in the ring and gives Blackman a good beating with many high risk and high flying maneuvers that wow the crowd and gets two near falls on Steve before they charge at one another and collide in the middle of the ring. Not only do the duo knock one another cold; they also sandwich Jones who was too slow to dodge and all three men are laid out cold on the mat for several minutes before Jericho and Blackman begin to stir. Just then however Jericho feels a tug on his boot and turns to see it's Ronnie Garvin! "The Rugged One" grabs Jericho by both feet and pulls him groin first into the steel ringpost!! Steve Blackman is first to his feet followed by Jones as Garvin ducks under the ring. "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" writhes in pain and makes his way up to one knee still dazed when Steve Blackman connects with a roundhouse kick that lays Jericho out. Going for the pin Blackman gets the 1...2...3!!!Lanny Poffo is still in shock over Blackman's victory when Eastern Championship returns from break and Okerlund welcomes us back. Poffo says he now agrees with Gene about it being a night of upsets and therefore "Ravishing" Rick Rude had better watch out in tonight's Main Event. Gene says he'd be smart to do that anyway as Buck Zumhoff has proven himself to be one hell of a competitor thus far in Eastern Championship Wrestling. Rick Rude's strip theme hits and the world's sexiest man appears on the ramp. He is surprisingly quiet tonight as the crowd boos him just like they did Lawler and O'Grady. Once he's inside the ring "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff boogies his way to the ring boombox in hand.Main Event: Rick Rude vs. Buck Zumhoff Davis begins the match as Rick Rude and Buck Zumhoff lock up. The two men fight for leverage and after winning the contest of strength decisively; Rude takes Zumhoff down via a snapmare and drops his knee down onto the shoulder of his opponent. Lifting him up to his feet, "The Ravishing One" looks to hit a suplex when Buck wiggles free and drops to safety behind Rick where he takes his down with a shoulder tackle to the back of his leg. Keeping him on the floor Zumhoff locks in a headlock on Rude that has him screaming in pain until Rick battles back first with a somewhat effective elbow to his opponent's gut before fighting his way up to one knee. And then his feet. Scooping Buck up as he struggles to keep Rick down; Rude hits a back bodydrop and goes for the pin getting a two count. Picking Buck up he works over his head and back before Irish whipping "Rock 'N Roll" across the ring. On the rebound however Zumhoff connects with a flying clothesline that looks to have taken Rude's head clean off. Making the cover he gets a two count. Staying with Rude, Buck punches him as he gets up to one knee and the two men trade blows until they're both standing in the middle of the ring going punch for punch. Seeing he's on the losing end of the situation now; Zumhoff gets in close and takes Rick down with a side Russian legsweep. Then running to the ropes delivers a dropkick on "The Ravishing One" as he regains his footing and sends him stumbling back into the ropes. When he goes to whip Rude however he finds himself pulled in and hit with a clothesline of Rude's own before Rick Rude pulls Buck Zumhoff and nails The Rude Awakening for the win. He then walks over to Beulah and reaches for the microphone which she gives him. Rude stands in the middle of the ring as the crowd starts a "Rick Rude sucks" chant. He replies with four words. "Macho Man" Randy Savage. He then says that he wants Savage to get his ass out here right now. He goes on to say that he knows why Randy did what he did to him last week. But that doesn't mean he has to like it. He says that he realizes that it sounds silly. But he doesn't remember the attack on Savage and Anderson at all. Not that that's an excuse. Because he'd love to give "The Macho Man" a beating. In fact he's kind of sad that he doesn't remember it. And therefore he wants a match with "the World Chump" to refresh his memory. Pomp and Circumstance then hits as "Macho Man" Randy Savage emerges from the back with Debbie Combs. Savage tells Rude that he doesn't buy the story him and his little pals are spinning. That he doesn't believe in any of that hoodoo nonsense and last he checked Rude didn't either. And he thinks that they sided with Papa Shango for one reason and one reason only. Yeah. To soften up the "Macho Man." Ya dig. And that now he wants a match; but Randy ain't playing their games. Rick Rude wants a match? He'd better earn it. And until he does he'd better just keep out of Savage's way. Dig. Cause he's gonna hurt Rude. Retire him. Put the big ol' diving elbow kibash on "The Ravishing One" if he don't smarten up and to tell his pal Shango that if he wants to be put down 1,2 3 yet again; to be ready for another ass-whoopin'. Oooh yeah.
Lights Fade.

07/20/94 - New Haven Coliseum New Haven, CTMean Gene welcomes the Wrestling Fans to another installments of Eastern Championship Wrestling tonight live from the New Haven Coliseum in New Haven, Connecticut. And introduces his broadcast partner "The Genius" Lanny Poffo. Together they talk about tonight's card which will see the Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam in action against Canadian strongman "Iron" Mike Sharpe, the number one contender's for the Tag-Team Championship Devastation Inc. face off against the veteran team of Deep South; and in the Main Event the "The World's Sexiest Man" Rick Rude will face Steve Blackman who defeated Chris Jericho on the last edition of ECW. Poffo nearly chokes on his soda before reminding Gene this win was only accomplished with the help of that sneak "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin.Irish Folk music is then heard as Beulah McGillicutty makes the introductions for the first match of the night and "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady makes his way down to the ring accompanied to a chorus of boos. Lanny can't believe the fans can't seem to realize that O'Grady and the other members of the roster weren't at fault for their actions several weeks ago. That they were under the influence of Papa Shango. Just then the lights go out and mist fills the arena. On the stage Shango appears along aside Brickhouse Brown as drums are heard.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. Brickhouse Brown Before Teddy Long starts the match Papa Shango holds up one of O'Grady's coins and taunts him on the apron until Long orders him to get down. "The Soul Stealer" does this and allows the match to get under way. Erin O'Grady and Brickhouse Brown lock up; but when "The Leprechaun" goes to throw his first punch; it appears as if he can't!! On the outside Shango begins laughing and Brown joins in on the inside. Papa Shango reaches into his cloak and produces a voodoo doll of Erin O'Grady!!! He then throws the doll on the floor and inside the ring Erin falls to the floor!!! He seems unable to move as Brickhouse Brown makes the cover and picks up the win.
Okerlund is outraged by this and says something is wrong here. Poffo says he doesn't know what Gene is doing commentating wrestling. He has all the makings of a detective.Okerlund welcomes us back to TNN The Nashville Network; home of Eastern Championship Wrestling. He says that The Baron Von Raschke is set me make an important announcement here tonight and says he hopes that it'll be a retirement speech. Lanny says that the only thing for certain when Von Rascke is involved is that no good will come of it. "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein then sounds as Raschke leads The Blitzkrieg to the ring.
Once inside he snatches the mic from Beulah and then says that he's tired of his suggestions to management going ignored. That he is the manager of the meanest, most brutal competitor in the sport of wrestling today. The most dangerous being in this ring. In this town. In this damned country and likely the world. "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg. And that it is a travesty, a disgrace that the true top talent in the sport hasn't been given a Title Shot. So from here on out they are going to prove how dominant, how deserving The Blitzkrieg is week after week. By destroying anyone stupid enough to get into the ring with this inhuman beast. That The Blitzkrieg will take on all comers and if he is defeated he will not only quite this company; but retire for wrestling forever. After several moments of silence a police whistle sounds and someone in the back runs out and hands McGillicutty a card.
McGillicutty: The following Match is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring now from Pittsburgh by way of Steubenville, Ohio weighing 275 lbs.; he is the ACW Heavyweight Champion "Big Bully" Busick!Okerlund: Oh come on. That isn't really Nick Busick.
Poffo: Is too. Didn't you hear Beulah? Get your ears cleaned.
Okerlund: Whatever Lanny. I smell Bischoff behind this. Match: The Blitzkrieg (Big Bad John) vs. Big Bully Busick (Glen Jacobs) "Big Bully" Nick Busick gets into the ring and hands over his hat to referee S.D. Jones. When Jones asks for Nick's cigar he refuses and after pacing the ring for a while with it in his hand he takes it and puts it out on The Blitzkrieg's chest before hitting him with a hard right. This infuriates the big man and he begins laying into Busick driving him back towards the ropes before whipping him across the ring and nailing him with a thunderous big boot. Busick goes down hard and The Blitzkrieg lifts his limp body off the mat before hitting an unnecessary powerbomb before making the pin. When Eastern Championship returns from break, Lanny is still going on about how impressive it was the way The Blitzkrieg destroyed a man as big as "Big Bully" Busick. He says that by rights The Blitzkrieg should have Busick's Title right now. Okerlund agrees that The Blitzkrieg is one monstrous opponent; but still claims that wasn't really Nick Busick. He does expresses fear for any Champion who has to get into the ring with "Mangler's Monster." He then hypes the next contest which will pit two men used to Tag-Team action in a single's bout against one another as The Killer Bee's B. Brian Blair takes on one half of the Eastern Tag-Team Champions The New Orient Express; Taka Michinoku.Match: B. Brian Blair vs. Taka Michinoku This match is a lightning fast showcase of high flying athletic prowess and technical wrestling as both opponent's give it their all with a dozen near falls and pin reversals throughout. It's only after Taka Michinoku plays possum when a frustrated B. Brian Blair locks in the sleeper hold; that Michinoku catches his opponent offguard and is able to hit a Michinoku Driver to capture the win getting an easy three count from Danny Davis. The camera then cuts back stage where "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson is discussing something with Scott Taylor. Jerry "The King" Lawler soon arrives on screen and asks Arn Anderson if he he could speak with him for a moment. Anderson seems uncertain but excuses himself to Taylor and asks Jerry what the hell does he want. Lawler says that he knows that Arn doesn't believe him about what happened in Manhattan, New York. That if he were in the same situation he wouldn't believe him either. But he's telling the truth and wants to make it up to Arn. By being in his corner during his number one contender's Match with Papa Shango. So he can watch his back and make sure Brickhouse Brown doesn't interfere. "The Enforcer" asks Jerry if he's crazy. That after what happened. After the way he attacked him. That "The King" is one of the last damned people he'd want in his corner. That the last damned thing he needs is to have to be keeping an eye in the back of his head for both Brickhouse Brown AND Jerry Lawler. Besides he sighs. He already has a partner who's going to be out there with him that night. Someone he can and does trust. His friend; Scott Taylor. He then excuses himself and turns away. Jerry however grabs his arm and Arn gives him the evil eye. After several tense seconds Lawler lets go and says fine then.Mean Gene welcomes the Fans back from the break and tells them that next week Eastern Championship Wrestling will be live from The Providence Civic Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Eastern Championship's first Rhode Island show which will feature the big number one contender's Match between "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango for a shot at th Eastern Heavyweight Championship. And that while the show is already sold out; folks should be sure to catch it right here live on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network. He and Lanny then discuss the next match and Gene says how the team of Mongo Vyle and Rhino; Devastation Inc.; has been cutting a path of destruction through Eastern Champioship's Tag-Team division; even defeating the current Tag-Team Champs The New Orient Express here on last week's program. Which Lanny assures us was a fluke.Tag-Team Match: Devastation Inc. vs. Deep South Mongo Vyle and Rhino are obviously tough and hungry as they take turns dissecting "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch in the early goings of the match with several warnings from Long about their constant double-teaming. Of course Murdoch is no slouch and though getting older still has alot of fight left in him. After catching Rhino with an eye rake Dick pounds the big man into the corner before hitting a Frankensteiner on "The Man-Beast." This keeps both men down for a couple minutes as Teddy begins the count. Once they begin to move again Murdoch has given himself enough time to tag in Junkyard Dog and Rhino makes the hot tag to Mongo Vyle. The two big men explode in the middle of the ring going punch for punch. Though Junkyard Dog connects with a massive headbutt; Vyle manages to maintain an advantage for several minutes hitting JYD with a clothesline, sidewalk slam; and standing legdrop before Mr. Fuji appears at ringside. Teddy Long walks over to the ropes and order Fuji to return to the back while inside the ring big Mongo Vyle is grabbed from behind and turns into a face full of green mist! It's Yoshihiro Tajiri!! Tajiri quickly jumps down from the apron and escapes into the crowd while Mr. Fuji makes his way up the ramp. Junkyard Dog sees everything but certainly isn't complaining as the blinded Vyle walks right into him and gets THUMPED down on the mat for the three count. Rhino is pissed and gives JYD little time to celebrate as he quickly reenters the ring and hits The Gore striking spear; laying The Dog out. Dick Murdoch isn't having any of this however and both he and Rhino are still brawling when Eastern Championship goes to...As we return from break we're once again back stage with "Ravishing" Rick Rude is seen. Talking to Debbie Combs?! "Reevishing Reek Rude!!" Rude turns quickly as an irate Randy Savage descends upon him wanting to know what he thinks he's doing talking to the "Macho Man's" woman. Cause he doesn't dig it. Doesn't dig it one bit. Oooh yeah. Rick Rude assure Savage that he was only doing his best to help "Hot Stuff" out of her clothes and a backstage brawl soon erupts that leaves both men bloody before practically the entire locker room comes in to break up the fight; including Eric Bischoff who yells at both men to back off that's he's got a business to run here.We then are brought back to ringside where Okerlund and Poffo discuss the events that just took place. Okerlund thinks it'd be smart for Rude to keep it in his pants; but won't elaborate on what "it" even when Lanny insists and offers a few obviously incorrect suggestions. After telling Lanny to can it Gene talks about the next match in which "Miss Texas" Jacqueline Moore will face off against "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs. He recaps last week's match in which Moore was robbed of winning the Women's Title by its current Champion "The Hawaiin Princess" Leilani Kai. Lanny says you can't be robbed of something that wasn't yours to begin with and says that the belt is with its rightful owner.Match: Jacqueline Moore vs. Debbie Combs Jacqueline Moore is obviously angry still from her last match and hands Debbie Combs a beating early on; but when Leilani Kai's music hits and she shows off the Championship on the ramp this gives Debbie Combs all the opening she needs. After grabbing "Miss Texas" from behind she rolls her up long enough for S.D. Jones to deliver the three count.
Once the women, including an even more pissed Jacqueline Moore leave the ring "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula sounds and Eastern Championship's President Eric Bischoff swaggers his way from the back and down the ramp. He asks the audience if they feel that Ms. Moore was cheated. They seem to think so. He then asks if they feel she was cheated last week as well. They seem to agree with this too. Bischoff then asks if Jacqueline Moore deserves a rematch for the Women's Championship here on Eastern Championship in two weeks time? This gets thunderous applause. Eric then says well she's going to get it. Bischoff then explains that isn't the reason he's out here however; but he is here on business. He says he has an idea. An idea for next week's number one contender's match between "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship. He says that his idea is this. While the winner of the Match will go on to face "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the Heavyweight Title; the loser of the Match will chose the stipulation! When ECW returns on air the Canadian National Anthem is playing and "Iron" Mike Sharpe is making his way down to the ring. Okerlund is talking about Bischoff's announcement before the break and how while he's not particularly fond of Randy lately; he doesn't think this is fair to the Champ either. Lanny says "Macho Man" is a big boy who can take care of himself.
Inside the ring Mike Sharpe is talking again. Telling the crowd full of fans shouting how much he sucks that he promised last week he was going to take Championship Gold back to Canada to buy his way into the greatest wrestling promotion in the world; the CWF; and prove once again he is indeed "Canada's Greatest Athlete." He says that tonight he will prove how serious he was and while his match against the Intercontinental Champion isn't for the Title and while he would've preferred the Heavyweight Championship; tonight he will defeat Rob Van Dam. And then get the Title shot. Where he'll take his Title. Because what could be sweeter than taking both Titles back with him to a real country like Canada?
"Poundcake" by Van Halen then sounds as Rob Van Dam appears on the ramp with a microphone in his hand and the Intercontinental Title over his shoulder. He tells Sharpe that he can respect the fact he's proud of his country. RVD is proud of his. And that the dude may very well be Canada's Greatest Athlete. He would've said Tammy Fytch was. But hey. Whatever. That's cool. Only problem Mike Sharpe has is that tonight he's facing the United States' own "Mr. Wednesday Night." America's Greatest Athlete. Rob... Van... Dam. But hey if he really has delusions of grandeur; why waste time? Why not give Mike Sharpe his Title shot? Right now.Intercontinental Match: Mike Sharpe vs. Rob Van Dam Rob Van Dam slides into the ring and is immediately hammered upon by a fired up Mike Sharpe as Danny Davis sounds the bell. RVD runs circles around Sharpe early on with some explosive offense until Sharpe slows things down by catching Rob in a vicious bearhug that takes the wind out of the Champ. He continues to beat down RVD and gets several near falls; none of them closer than when Mike Sharpe connects with the running forearm smash which Van Dam wows the crowd when he kicks out just before the three is delivered. Afterwards RVD rallies behind the fans and fights back taking Sharpe down with a hurrancanrana before the Canadian goes to the well one too many times and Rob ducks under a second forearm smash countering with a corkscrew kick that flattens Sharpe. Going up top Rob Van Dam points to his shoulders and has the fans chant "Rob... Van... Dam" before hitting the 5-Star Frog Splash for the win. After the final commercial break of the evening Okerlund hype's tonights Main Event; talking about how "The Silent Assassin" Steve Blackman is just coming off a huge victory over Chris Jericho and that Rick Rude must still be hurting from the being busted open during the altercation backstage with Randy Savage earlier in the evening. Poffo says Blackman just got lucky and it'd take a miracle for him to win here tonight.Match: Rick Rude vs. Steve Blackman Steve Blackman seems very confident and a little cocky going in and connects with several kicks before dropping Rude with a legsweep. Rick Rude seems a little out of it and has trouble dodging the quick martial artist who once he has him on the ground begins pounding on the wound on Rude's head; busting him open again. This amgers Rick and the two men roll about on the floor a bit before Rude gets to his feet first. He puts the boots to Blackman when Pomp and Cicumstance hits. "The Ravishing One" looks up for a second at the stage and smiles when nobody is there. He continues to work over Steve Blackman who gets in little offense from here on out after Rude hits him hard with a delayed vertical suplex. He then makes Steve Blacman give up the match after locking him into an overhead gutwrench backbreaker rack. While Blackman is still in the air however; "Macho Man" Randy Savage has entered the ring! He and Rude stare one another down before Savage charges Rude. Just as Randy is about to connect however; Rick tosses his opponent at Randy sending him down to the mat. While Savage untangles himself from under "The Silent Assassin;" Rude has rolled out of the ring and back in. Randy is back up on his knees and his eyes go wide as he sees Rick Rude approach. He has Blackman's Kendo sticks!! Rick Rude twirls the Kendo Stick in his hand before he smashes Randy in the face with it. He continues to beat down the Champ while Debbie Combs rushes to ringside and throws herself on top of Savage pleading with Rude to stop. He does. And then grabbing Combs' hand he pulls her up and taking her into his arms lays a deep kiss on her!!! She struggles to free herself as the...

07/27/94 - Providence Civic Center Providence, RIMean Gene Okerlund welcomes the Wrestling Fans to the Providence Civic Center in Providence, Rhode Island for tonight's edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling. He then says how this is ECW's very first Rhode Island show. "The Genius" Lanny Poffo says that's because anyone with any sense doesn't come to Rhode Island. Okerlund asks that the folks at home excuse anything Lanny says in advance. They then run down tonight's huge card wherein the Tag-Team Championships will be on the line as Champions The New Orient Express are set to take on challengers Destruction Inc., Jerry Lawler will be wrestling tonight looking for a little payback with The Black Circle as he goes toe to toe with Brickhouse Brown and in tonight's big Main Event "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson will battle The Black Circle's leader "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango in a match to determine the number one contender for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship. Gene says that he's sure ECW Champ "The Macho Man" Randy Savage will be keeping a close eye on this one. Lanny remarks that the only thing Savage keeps an eye on is the size of his paycheck. Gene then hypesthe first match of the evening where Women's Champ Leilani Kai is in a non-Title bout with Velvet McIntyre. He recaps Kai's recent match with "Miss Texas" Jacqueline Moore and says her actions were despicable and how he's glad Eric Bischoff has signed a rematch to that bout on next week's show.
Hawaiian music then plays as "The Hawaiian Princess" Leilani Kai makes her way out to the ring while Beulah McGillicutty makes with the intros.Match: Leilani Kai vs. Velvet McIntyre Velvet McIntyre is really looking to win this and takes it to the Women's Champ; nearly getting the pin after a beautifully executed hurrancanrana. However Leilan Kai is up to her old tricks and keeps referee S.D.Jones distracted while she rakes McIntyre's eyes and back during the match; and finally rolls her up with a hand full of tights for the three count following a vicious clothesline for the win.Okerlund welcomes us back and can't seem to believe what's gotten into Women's Champ Leilani Kai of late. Poffo says that she's a true Champ and is doing whatever it takes to keep the Title. He says if Gene wants to blame someone; it should be S.D. Jones who's a worse ref than he was a wrestler if that's possible.
"Rock You Like A Hurricane" by The Scorpions then plays as "Rock'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the ramp and dances his way to the ring with his boombox up on his shoulder. Inside the ring he says that he plans to bring home Championship Gold in the future for all his "Rock 'N Rollers" out there. Lanny is very skepitcal of the possibility of this. Saying there's a 0% chance. Zumhoff then invites some "little Rock'N Rollers" into the ring to dance with him when a familiar buzzing is heard.Match: Buck Zumhoff vs. Jim Brunzell Buck Zumhoff and Jim Brunzell put on a fast-paced match with numerous nearfalls and reversals. Brunzell has Buck in trouble and about to tap when he turns an armwrench into an armbar and the crowd comes alive in Zumhoff's defense. "The Rock 'N Roller" battles his way back and comes away with the win from ref Danny Davis after landing a jumping leg lariat on one half of The Killer Bees.
Lanny thinks that Brunzell should grow a moustache so people mistake him for "the successful" half of the tag-team. Maybe it'd give him the edge to win a match now and again. Gene then hypes the next match as The Bill Conti Overture plays and Jerry Lawler appears on the ramp with his son Brian Lawler and they're booed mercilessly. Gene tells the folks at home that this reaction to the former fan-favorite is a result of Lawler's actions at the end of a recent show wherein he and several of members of the roster helped The Black Circle decimate the World Champ Randy Savage and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Poffo says he believes Jerry Lawler when he says he can't remember what he did and says that Papa Shango's trickery was definitely at work that night. Gene is skeptical "The Soul Stealer" has any so-called powers.Match: Jerry Lawler vs. Brickhouse Brown Referee Teddy Long has a hard time with getting Papa Shango off the apron so he can start the match; but he finally gets an assist from Brian Lawler who is also at ringside; when the young man attacks the voodoo priest. With the match starting; it is a brawl from start to finish with Jerry Lawler obviously fuming and wanting to take Brickhouse Brown out for good. Brown gives as good as he gets however and Lawler still seems a bit too distracted by the crowd who still has it in for him. This distraction costs him the match when he hesitate when he goes up top for the fist drop and Brickhouse Brown crawls up to his feet, runs up the corner; and superplexes him for the win. When Eastern Championship returns ECW President Eric Bischoff is at his desk when "Macho Man" Randy Savage storms the office. He wants to know if Bischoff saw what Rude has done to him and what's he gonna do about it? He wants to know what that fruitcake Rude is up to. No. He don't care yeah. What he wants is Rick Rude in that there ring right now. Dig it. Cause he's gonna take off that head of his. Oooh yeah. Bischoff seems to dig what Savage is talking about and says he can't schedule a match for tonight as the card is already booked. After some tension between the two Eric says that in two weeks "Macho Man" will get all the revenge he can handle in the Main Event at The Eastern States Coliseum in Springfield, Massachusetts. Randy says that two weeks isn't soon enough and after being backed up against the wall from an enraged Savage; Bischoff apologizes and says that's the best he can do.
When the camera cuts back to ringside Destruction Inc. is already inside the ring pacing while "Fucking Hostile" by Pantera blasts the arena. The Kaientai Theme soon hits as the Eastern Tag-Team Champs The New Orient Express make their way down the ramp led by their manager Mr. Fuji.Tag-Team Championship Match: Destruction Inc. vs. The New Orient Express Taka Michinoku and Rhino start off the match as the two men give it their all with lots of aerial maneuvering from Taka and hard hitting power moves from Rhino. Michinoku gets several nearfalls from roll-ups before Rhino takes off his head with a big boot and follows it up with a running powerslam that would've put the Champ away if not for the save from Yoshihiro Tajiri who hops up onto the top rope and somersaults on top of "The Man-Beast" to break the count. Referee S.D. Jones focuses on getting Tajiri out of the ring which allows Rhino and Mongo Vyle to drag Michinoku into their corner where they work the much smaller man over. Destruction Inc. makes some quick tags to keep themselves fresh and deliver the pain to Taka before out of nowhere Michinoku nails Rhino with a superkick. Scrambling for the cover Taka gets a near three but Rhino kicks out and both men stay down afterward. Both men slowly drag themselves up and look for their corners. Mongo Vyle gets the tag first and chases Michinoku across the ring; but is unable to stop him from tagging in Yoshihiro Tajiri who uses Vyle's momentum to lock him into The Tarantula. While Jones attempts to break up the move; Mr. Fuji sneaks over to the opposing corner and gives the weary Rhino a face full of salt. Yoshihiro releases his illegal hold and keeps Mongo on his toes with various kicks and takes the big man down with a springboard moonsault. Jones nearly hits the three before Vyle powers out and when Yoshihiro charges back; Vyle counters with a clothesline and flips "The Japanese Buzzsaw" head over heels. From here on out Tajiri get very little offense in as Mongo Vyle takes him apart before hitting a sitout powerbomb for the three. Mr. Fuji howls in rage and it seems to take the arena and even Vyle a few seconds to realize; Destruction Inc. are the new Tag-Team Champions!!! Getting back to his feet Vyle looks for Rhino and helps him back to his feet. The two men eye Mr. Fuji who's in the ring chastising Tajiri about the loss. Reentering the ring Rhino and Mongo Vyle corner Mr. Fuji while Yoshihiro rolls out to save himself. Fuji falls on his knees and pleads with the new Tag-Team Champs to spare him; but Rhino picks him up and Destruction Inc. nail "The Diabolical One" with their signature Death Drop flapjack/cutter combination.Okerlund welcomes the Fans back and reminds them to tune in next week on ECW's home station TNN The Nashville Network when Eastern Championship Wrestling will be live from The Boston Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. He and Lanny then talk about what they just witnessed before the break as the Eastern Tag-Team Championships changed hands when they were won by the team of Mongo Vyle & Rhino; Destruction Inc. who defeated The New Orient Express. Lanny thinks Vyle & Rhino are a pair of no good cheats and can't believe the heinous act they perpetrated on Mr. Fuji. He then apologizes to Gene and the folks at home for using big words. He says that Destruction Inc. had better celebrate while they can because the Champs will be getting a rematch soon and those titles will be back where they belong; with the Orient Express.
"Ich tu dir weh" by Rammstein then hits and both Lanny and Gene are in agreement that this isn't good. Baron Von Raschke is about to talk. He's on the ramp with his charge The Blitzkrieg. He says how last week The Blitzkrieg turned down, destroyed; tore apart the first opponent in his open challenge. That once again "Mangler's Monster" proved itself proved itself an unstoppable force and the pride of The Republic of Germany. He then asks if there's anyone stupid enough in this very arena to get in the ring for another massacre."Jailhouse Blues" by Sleepy John Estes then sounds and two cops appear on the ramp. From the back comes Nailz in shackles being led by two more guards.
The following Match is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring accompanied to the ring by the Rhode Island State Police and on loan from their Department of Corrections; weighing in at 297 lbs.; Nailz.
Lanny seems to think Nailz is big and mean enough to meet Von Rascke's challenge. It appears so when the officers unlock him and Nailz gives a standing clothesline to the nearest officer before grabbing the next closest one and choking him out before throwing him to the floor. Just then however he is grabbed by the head and looks up as The Blitzkrieg drags him into the ring.Match: The Blitzkrieg vs. Nailz Davis starts the match; but while being pulled into the ring Nailz manages to grab ahold of one of his shackles and brings it in with him. After taking several punches from The Blitzkrieg he ducks back and swings the chain at the big man. "Mangler's Monster" catches it however and the two men engage in a tug of war for several minutes before The Blitkrieg wins out and pulls Nailz right into his arms and gives him a massive bearhug. Nailz manages to escape by smashing the bigger man in the head between both his fists; but it is soon over when The Blitzkrieg regains its senses and grabs Nailz by the neck; chokeslamming him to the ground. Going for the cover The Blitzkrieg picks up the win and the Rhode Island Police enter the ring and roughly collect their charge.Okerlund welcomes u back to Eastern Championship and says that while he may not like The Blitzkrieg, Baron Von Raschke; or anything the duo stand for; they had another impressive win here tonight. This time against former WWF superstar Nailz who has been taken back into polic custody. Lanny finds it amusing that tonight The Blitzkrieg was sort of on the side of the angels; fighting crime.Match: Ronnie Garvin vs. Junkyard Dog Teddy Long officiates in this brutal bout wherein Ronnie Garvin gets to display just how resilient he is when he kicks out of a heabutt and Thump! from The Junkyard Dog. It ends with JYD fighting his way to the ropes and just missing it before he taps out to Texas Cloverleaf. Garvin wipes his face with his towel and tosses it onto his conquered foe. Just then however he is pushed forward and sent flying into the ropes where he gets tangled up. He then sees who it is.
"The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho! Garvin spits at his young rival as Jericho takes to the mic and tells him how funny it was two weeks ago when "The Rugged One" cost him his match with Steve Blackman. About how much Garvin must envy Jericho's youth, skill, and charisma. One thing he had, one thing he's losing; and one thing Garvin just never had. In between each point he delivers a punch to Ronnie's head. He then rolls out of the ring and gets takes a chair from the fan before reentering the ring and screams at Garvin to give up and retire. That he's washed up. When Ronnie refuses; he nails him hard with the chair busting Garvin open. He asks him again to surrender. Garvin once again denies Jericho and when "The Loud-Mouth" swings back he receives a shock as Garvin slips out of the ropes and pounces on top of him! Ronnie begins hammering on Chris Jericho as he slithers out from under him and makes his escape from the ring. Garvin's face is covered in blood while he points to Jericho screaming at him.
As Chris backs his way up the ramp like a scolded dog however; he turns as Nailz rushes from the back! Seeing Jericho; he delivers a massiv clothesline to him as he continues down the ramp to ringside. From the back the Rhod Island Police Department appear on the scene hot on Nailz' trail as he leaps over the barricade, into the screaming audience; and disappears through the crowd. The cops give chase as Eastern Championship goes to...Okerlund welcomes the fans back as Eastern Championship gets set for tonight's huge Main Event for the unmber one contendership for the Eastern Heavyweight Title between "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango. He and Lanny then recount what's transpired between these two men over the past few months; beginning with the night Anderson returned from injury and screwed Shango out of the Heavyweight Title, through Shango's attack on the still absent Miss Elizabeth; and ending with Anderson's pinfall victory over Shango during a Tag-Team match which saw Arn team-up with his hated rival Randy Savage against The Black Circle. Lanny reminds us that that was the second time Anderson pineed "The Soul Stealer" and it must be a bitter pill for him to swallow. Just then the lights go dark and mist fills the arena as "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango and Brickhouse Brown appears on the ramp. Okerlund wonders what happened to Manami Toyota. And Lanny says maybe she flew the coop. Once they're inside the ring with referee S.D. Jones; Arn Anderson's music hits and he arrives on the scene with "The Superstar" Scott Taylor. Poffo says Anderson should've taken his chances with the more experienced Jerry Lawler.Main Event: Arn Anderson vs. Papa Shango The bell rings and Arn Anderson and Papa Shango lock up. Breaking it; Anderson takes Shango down with a snapmare and brazenly smacks him in the back of the head before putting him in a rear chinlock. Papa fights for freedom, finally getting it with a back elbow to Anderson and getting to his feet he hits a DDT. Going for the cover he gets a near two count of "The Enforcer." "The Soul Stealer" looks to want to end this match early as he keeps on Anderson punching him back into the ropes and Irish whips him setting him up for a brutal powerbomb. Trying for the pin again he gets a two before Anderson kicks out. Shango looks to keep the advantage hammering on Arn's back and head as he gets up to one knee. AA has other plans however and slaps the big man away before jumping to his feet and connecting with a hard right. Then a left. He begins pulverizing the big man as he teeters on his feet and grabbing Shango hits him with a side Russian legsweep. Anderson is unable to make the cover however as he is too out of it and instead after catching his breath on the ground he crawls over to the ropes and uses them to get back to his feet. Papa Shango isn't faring much better and grabbing hid head in pain looks over at Arn. Shrugging off his haziness; Shango launches at Anderson; but Arn ducks low and back body drops "The Soul Stealer" clear out of the ring. Jones begins the count. "The Enforcer" follows Papa to the outside ad helps him up before smashing the voodo priest head first onto the steel steps. Brickhouse Brown however charges in and crahes into Arn's back sending him face first into the sring post. Both Arn and Shango are out of it on the concrete floor when Brown lifts his master and rolls him back into the ring. He then puts the boots to Anderson; but the crowd suddenly comes alive. He looks to see Scott Taylor up on the apron! Taylor runs and dives off hitting Brown with a flying crossbody sending both men crashing to the ground. On the floor now Scott is hammering away on Brickhouse as AA gets back to his feet and in a daze rolls back into the ring at 8. He is immediately met by a livid Papa Shango who begins kicking and stomping him when he enters. Arn however clobbers him with a clothesline that sends "The Soul Stealer" falling back. Anderson catches him and pulling him in hits a Spinning Spinebuster! He goes for the cover; but Shango kicks out a milisecond before the three. Anderson is frustrated and rolling off the voodoo shaman sits on his ass. Outside the ring things have changed for the worse for Scott Taylor as Brickhouse Brown whips him into the steel barricade. Brown is about to DDT Scott on the cement and taunts Anderson to help his friend. Arn rises to his feet and heads for the ropes. Just then however he he grabbed from beind and spun around. It's Papa Shango! He kicks Arn in the gut before lifting him into the air and nails him with the inverted shoulderbreaker!! 1...2...3!!! Shango has won it while on the outside Brown stands over a motionless Scott Taylor whom he's just driven headfirst into the concrete.

He welcomes Devon and Spike to the show. They're sporting their black fedoras, glasses; and suits. Devon's has no sleevers. They thanks him. Buck says that he digs their style. Likes the Blues Brothers right? Devon asks him who's that? Buck looks skeptical. Devon then says he's just kidding. That he and Spike both love the Blues Brothers and what they represent. That they're both big blues and soul fans so it was a natural fit. Zumhoff says he digs that stuff too. Particularly stuff like The Bee Gees. Both Devon and Spike drop their shades to look at Zumhoff to see if he's serious. Buck looks a bit uncomfortable and says that last week's tag-team match on Slammin' Saturdays was amazing. He asks them what their goal here in ECW is? Devon tells Buck that him and the Lord have an understanding that will lead them to the Tag-Team Championship. Spike deadpans that they're on a mission from God. Buck laughs at this and says that both men are fine wrestlers. Suddenly Elwood J. Blues (Dan Akroyd) arrives on the scene!
He tells Buck "No man. Today they're musicians." He then bring son the Blues Brothers band and together with Akroyd, Devon and Spike sing "Shake Your Tailfeather" by Ray Charles.
Buck gets the kids to get up and dance with them and they continue to do so until the...
Finally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from back on February 9th 1994 at ECW's first Big Event; The King of the Mountain. In the Main Event Eastern Heavyweight Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage fought the "Maniac" Matt Borne.
2/9/94 ECW Heavyweight Title Match: Randy Savage vs. Matt Borne
Referee Danny Davis starts the match and watches as the two competitors go to lock up. Matt Borne has other plans however and jams Randy Savage in the eye with his thumb. Davis moves to yell at him; only to be tossed aside by the Maniac as he begins hammering on Savage, knocking the Champion back to the ropes. Irish whipping Savage across the ring proves to be a mistake as Randy goes airborne and takes Borne to the mat with a headscissors takedown. Borne is already up on one knee by the time Macho Man reaches him and begins pounding on his head. Pushing Borne's head against the bottom rope with his foot, using the top for leverage; it is now Savage who is admonished by the ref; Randy breaking the hold at three. As the Champ backs away however; Matt has just the opening he is looking for as he spears Savage; taking him to the ground. Leaping up Maniac Matt begins stomping on The Macho Man for several moments; before the Champ can make it to the bottom rope. Borne is reluctant to stop and is further threatened by Davis. Angry, Savage moves in and the two competitors begin trading punches in the middle of the ring; neither man having the clear advantage. Finally Savage connects with first a thust kick and then a knee to the cut. Pointing his finger in the air; he signals for a suplex to the crowd and is the victim of his own hubris when Borne scoops him up into the air and charging the corner; powerbombs Savage onto the top turnbuckle. Randy Savage writhes in pain as Borne punches him in the face before dragging the Champ into the middle of the ring. Going up top; Borne perches himself on the top turnbuckle; beckoning Randy to stand. Slowly the Champ gets to his feet and still groggy makes his way towar Borne who leaps onto Savage's shoulder; looking for a diving seated senton. The Macho Man doesn't go down however and catching Borne for a second, swings him into the middle of the ring for a powerbomb. Mostly recovered, Randy Savage runs to the corner and like a cat climbs up the turnbuckle. Only up top for a moment, he dives across the ring and connects with a huge diving elbow drop on Borne. Going for the pin; The Macho Man Randy Savage puts The Maniac away.
