06/01/94 - Knott Arena Emmitsburg, MDMean Gene Okerlund welcomes the Wrestling Fans at home to The Knott Arena in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Lanny apologizes for even giving them a glimpse of the state. Gene then goes over the night's matches and hypes the big Main Event in which the Heavyweight Title could change hands. Poffo says with "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango having The Dark Circle at his side "Macho Man Randy Savage doesn't really stand a chance here tonight. Beulah McGillicutty then introduces the opponent's for the first match of the night.Match: Matt Borne vs. Junkyard Dog The contest is close as both men brawl back and forth using several power moves and both getting two count on the other from Danny Davis. Things get bad for JYD however when Borne rakes his eyes and uses several other low tactics before scooping the big man up and powerbombing JYD on the top turnbuckle for the pin."Ravishing" Rick Rude is in the ring. He gives a little dance before having them cut the music. He then talks about what a dive Maryland is and how he can see why they call themselves "Little" America; because nobodies bothered to notice their state since the Orioles won back in '83. He then picks a girl from the audience to remove his robe and kisses her when she does so. She seems stunned by the experience.Beulah then introduces the next match as the lights go out and mist fills the arena. Manami Toyota appears on the ramp and disappears in a puff of smoke. Papa Shango's pet raven is in her place when the smoke clears and it flies into the ring where another puff of smoke is seen. Manami Toyota is now standing in place of the bird.Match: Manami Toyota vs. Velvet McIntyre The two women battle it out once Teddy Long begins the match. They go back and forth until Velvet McIntyre takes Manami Toyota down with a swinging hurrancanrana; but it only gets her a two count. She keeps the offense up and seems on the verge of winning until she goes for a splash off the top. Manami Toyota rolls out of the way and after beating on McIntyre a bit wins it by using the Japanese Ocean Bomb.Match: Ronnie Garvin vs. Steve Corino Ronnie Garvin looks to end this one quickly by locking Steve Corino is several submission holds. The wriley Corino however complains to S.D. Jones however about Garvin cheating and gets him to break it up. Despite his mindgames Corino gives almost as good as he gets and has Rugged Ronnie in a rear chinlock when Chris Jericho rushes the ring with a steal chair in hand and slams Corino in the back of the head; ending the match with a DQ when for Steve. Jericho gives Garvin enough time to turn and see what is going on before smashing his skull in with the chair as well.
While Ronnie is out Jericho gets the microphone from Beulah and tells "The Rugged One" that while he appreciates the fact Garvin had waited two weeks ago to attack him after his Intercontinental Title shot; he should expect no such civilities from "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho. And that he will learn this firsthand next week when Chris Jericho defeats him one on one.Okerlund welcomes the fans back to Eastern Championship Wrestling and reminds them to tune in next week where they'll be live at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark Delaware or on TNN the Nashville Network for those viewers at home. Poffo claims that Delaware is yet another "dive state" and there'd better be a party for him with strippers if it was going to be worth the effort of him going there. He then recants this saying strippers in Delaware are probably trannies anyway. Okerlund asks what a tranny is and Lanny tells him to consult with his doctor for more info. Okerlund then mentions The Stevies are set for tag-team action in the followeing match against and Poffo groans.Tag-Team Match: The Stevies vs. The Killer Bees This match refed by Danny Davis features some fast paced action by both sides until The Killer Bees end up trapping Steven Richards in the corner and begin working him over. After several near pins by Jim Brunzell; Richards manages to escape to his corner and tag in Steve Blackman. Though Blackman comes into the match as a man on fire taking The Bees down initially; his candle soon fades and after a double suplex to Blackman; B. Brian Blair makes the pin.
Poffo says this is business as usual for The Stevies and praises Blair whom he calls "Mr. Moustache" for another well deserved victory. "Jailhouse Rock" by The Blues Brothers is then heard as Devon appears on the ramp and shouts "Testify!" before making his way down to the ring. He is accompanied by his tag-team partner Spike Hughes.Match: Devon Hughes vs. Mike Sharpe Devon Hughes and Mike Sharpe have a strong battle of strength and power moves while Long officiates. Both men make pin attempts after a clothesline before there is a sudden disturbance on the outside. Devon looks out to see The Blitzkrieg is at ringside with The Baron Von Raschke who is applying The Brian Claw to Spike Hughes. He is unable to help him however as Canada's Greatest Athlete "Iron" Mike sees his opening and takes Devon down with a violent running forearm smash that gets him the win. Meanwhile on the outside The Blitzkrieg has chokeslammed Spike to the mat and has made his exit with The Baron. After welcoming the viewers back to Eastern Championship Wrestling Okerlund talks about what happened before the break and calls the attack on Spike Hughes by The Baron and The Blitzkrieg despicable and uncalled for. Lanny's opinion differs. He says that two weeks ago when the duo tool out Doink the Clown, The Baron sent Spike Hyson a clear warning. That The Blitzkrieg would be looking for revenge on the three men who eliminated him from The King of the Mountain Match back in February. At which point Hyson should have quit. And that of course he didn't because not everyone can be a Genius like Poffo himself. Okerlund then hypes the next match saying that it involves a competitor who is no stranger to The Blitzkrieg; Buck Zumhoff. First however Ther Kaientai Theme sounds and Yoshihiro Tajiri appears on the ramp with his manager Mr. Fuji in tow.Match: Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Buck Zumhoff Yoshihiro Tajiri is much faster than his opponent Buck Zumhoff whom he gives a thorough workout just to keep up with defending himself from The Japanese Buzzsaw's many and varied attacks including a handspring elbow, flying elbow drop, springboard moonsault; and a multitude of different kicks. Finally getting the upperhand on Yoshihiro, Zumhoff capitalizes with a scoop slam and goes for the pin. The diabolical Mr. Fuji has other plans however and while S.D. Jones starts the three count; he reaches into his pocket and tosses a handful of salt into the eyes of Buck Zumhoff. Tajiri immediately springs into action and rolls "The Rock 'N Roller" up into his own pinning predicament which he holds for the three count.Okerlund welcomes the fans to tonights big Main Event in which Eastern Heavyweight Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage will defend his Title against "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango. He then recaps how Papa Shango became number one contender through his feud with Jerry "The King" Lawler whom he defeated for the chance at the Heavyweight Championship two weeks ago. Poffo seems exceptant that Shango becoming World Champ is a foregone conclusion due in part to the involvement of Shango's minions in The Dark Circle.
Just then Pomp and Circumstance hits as Randy Savage emerges from the back with the Championship about his waist. He has Debbie Combs in tow. Randy hands his Championship up to Davis who holds it high over his head before the lights go dark, mist fills the arena; and voodoo music plays. Out on the ramp Papa Shango appears with both Brickhouse Brown and Manami Toyota. Together The Dark Circle descends on the ring.Main Event Heavyweight Title Match: Randy Savage vs. Papa Shango This matchup is brutal from the onset and Randy Savage takes the brunt of it as Papa Shango doesn't let up; going for the cover after a pump handle slam, a diving elbow; and a running big boot. Randy Savage however won't stay down and pays for it when "The Soul Stealer" tosses The Champ over the top rope and he lands head first into the steel barricade. Shango follows "Macho Man" outside and continues the attack. Savage is busted open from his collision with the barricade and though dazed he manages to mount an offense that enables him to escape the voodo priest, climb the apron and hit the challenger with a diving double axehandle. Randy slams Papa face first into the steel steps before rolling him back into the ring as Davis counts to 8. From here on out a tired Savage manages to keep Shango on his toes and nails him with a jumping elbow drop before going for another pin. Shango kicks out just under the three and Manami Toyota is now up on the apron after laying out Debbie Combs on the outside; and now Toyota is distracting Danny Davis. When the ref comes over to yell at her, Toyota nails him with a hairpull hangman taking Davis out too. This gives Brickhouse Brown the opening he needs to enter the ring where he spins Savage around, kicks him in the gut; and nails him with a DDT. Brown then helps a weary Papa Shango lift Randy up into the air so he can hit his inverted shoulderbreaker on "The Macho Man" before rolling out of the ring. Papa Shango makes the cover as Danny Davis stirs. On the outside however Brickhouse Brown has just left the ring to turn into a chair shot to the head. It's Arn Anderson! "The Enforcer" then slides into the ring and just as Davis is about to give the three count; AA nails Papa Shango with the steel chair to the back of the head sending him tumbling off of Savage. On the ground Randy recovers and looks up in shock to see Arn above him holding the steel chair poised while Danny Davis calls the match a DQ win for Papa Shango. Anderson looks as though he's about to hit Randy Savage with the chair; but after a few tense moments he chucks it aside in disgust. Savage and Anderson glare at one another while Debbie Combs helps The Champ back up to his feet; blood dripping down his head.
Lights Fade.

06/08/94 - Bob Carpenter Center Newark, DE"Mean Gene" Okerlund welcomes the fans to the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark Delaware. Poffo says the only people who'd feel welcome in Delaware are the people unfortunate enough to live there and rats. After excusing Lanny; Gene runs down the night's matches which includes a Women's Title Match between Jacqueline Moore and Women's Champ Leilani Kai as well as the Eastern Heavyweight Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage in action with one-time number one contender "Maniac" Matt Borne. Beulah McGillicutty then introduces the competitors for the night's first match.Match: Steve Blackman vs. Rhino Steve Blackman tries to keep his distance from "The Man-Beast" Rhino, playing a hit and run game with a variety of martial arts kicks. Once Rhino gets ahold of him however it's only a matter of time before a powerbomb from Rhino has Teddy Long hitting the three count on "The Silent Assassin."After some smack talk by Lanny on Steve Blackman and The Stevies' ineptitude in general; we are brought backstage where Randy Savage bursts into the office of Eric Bischoff with Debbie Combs in tow. Savage tells Bischoff that he has a problem he needs taking care of. And that problem is Arn Anderson. Bischoff says he saw what happened last week and has already taken action tonight by giving "The Enforcer" a very special match tonight to celebrate his return to the ring.Match: Scott Taylor vs. Steve Corino This match has some good back and forth as Scott Taylor uses his speed and some high flying moves to take down Steve Corino. Corino fends off "The Superstar" with ground based takedowns and submission holds and beats a three count by complaining to referee S.D. Jones about how Taylor had his tights; even though he didn't. Finally however Corino defeats Taylor by Submission utilizing the Cobra Clutch. We are then brought backstage where The Baron Von Raschke is gleefully telling his silent charge The Blitzkrieg how he has secured the Intercontinental Championship and the head of Rob Van Dam for The Republic of Germany. Arn Anderson is already inside the ring with Miss Elizabeth when Eastern Championship returns to air. AA says he wants to take a moment to explain his actions the previous week. He says he realizes it may have looked weird for him to come to the aide of his rival "Macho Man" Randy Savage; but he did it for two reasons. One he has too much respect for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship to see it won by a no good, talentless, cheat like Papa Shango. And two; that if anyone is going to take the Title off Savage it damned well better be "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson himself.
Just then "Ich tu der weh" by Rammsteing hits and we are introduced to Bischoff's surprise opponent for Anderson. Lanny Poffo says that he hopes AA didn't mind vacationing on the injured list too much; because he just bought himself another ticket to bed rest.Match: Arn Anderson vs. The Blitzkrieg It's obvious from the offset of this match that Arn Anderson realizes he is outmatched by the strength of The Blitzkrieg. But this doesn't mean "The Enforcer" backs down either. He tries several holds and moves that have little effect. At the same time Arn takes one hell of a beating but keeps going. Luckily for Arn however there is soon a disturbance outside the ring. Someone has laid out Baron Von Raschke! It's The Hughes Brothers! Within seconds the two men are in the ring and attacking The Blitzkrieg; causing Danny Davis to call for a DQ win for The Blitzkrieg. Battered and out of breath, Anderson meanwhile drops and rolls out of the ring. Inside the ring Devon Hughes and Spike Hughes take turns punching "Mangler's Monster" briefly before The Blitzkrieg has had enough and takes their heads off with a monstrous double clothesline. On the outside Arn Anderson is faced with a new dilemma. Miss Elizabeth is nowhere to be found! He staggers about looking and calling for her as Eastern Championship goes to...When Eastern Championship returns Okerlund expresses concern for Miss Elizabeth before thanking the Fans for joining them here tonight and to be sure to do the same next week when Eastern Championship will be coming live from The Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Poffo seems to think Miss Elizabeth may have run off on Arn Anderson for being a bore. She did run off on that "Stunning" Steve Austin twit for the same reason of course. Gene tells him he's an idiot. He then hypes the next Match in which Women's Champ Leilani Kai is set to defend her Title against former Women's Champ Jacqueline Moore.Women's Title Match: Jacqueline Moore vs. Leilani Kai This match is pretty brutal on both ends with several near falls after power moves. At one point "Miss Texas" sends Leilani out of the ring to the floor with a superkick and slams her into the steel steps. Back inside the ring Moore hits Kai with a bridged German Suplex and "The Hawaiin Princess" shocks the crowd when she kicks out. The battle rages on until Kai connects with a diving splash off the top to retain her Title, which Teddy Long gives back to her before holding her hand high in victory. We are then taken backstage where Arn Anderson is searching for Miss Elizabeth. He runs into Scott Taylor, Rob Van Dam, and Rick Rude; all of whom agree to join in the search. Though Rude warns Anderson that if he finds her; he can't be blamed if she falls heels over head for the world's sexiest man.Gene thanks the viewers at home for tuning in on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network. He then talks about the events on the show so far, especially how good the Women's Title Match was. And then wonders where Miss Elizabeth could be. Lanny says that Anderson has made many enemies over the years and if she was kidnapped; which he doubts; that it could be almost anyone. The lights then go dark and mist fills the arena as voodoo drums are heard. On the ramp Papa Shango appears with Brickhouse Brown and Manaimi Toyota as Beulah announces The Dark Circle's arrival.
The Kaientai Theme is heard next as the Eastern Tag-Team Champions The New Orient Express make their way down to the ring with their manager Mr. Fuji. Inside the ring Fuji says that he respects The Dark Circle's evil ways and that instead of fighting that the two teams should form an alliance. Papa Shango does some chanting before telling Fuji that The Dark Lord considers Fuji an ally of darkness; but The New Orient Express isn't evil enough to join in their quest of destruction. He then smacks Fuji down to the floor and an irate "Diabolical One" orders The New Orient Express to attack.Tag-Team Match: The Dark Circle vs. The New Orient Express The New Orient Express take some big time punishment in this one as they trade their high flying arsenal with the brute strength of The Dark Circle. Taka Michinoku nearly loses the match as a result of a chokeslam by Shango; but manages to escape to his corner after Fuji trips up Brown; which leades to Toyota hitting Fuji with the Japanese Ocean Queen Bee Bomb on the outside. Inside the ring Yoshihiro Tajiri manages to catch Papa Shango in The Tarantula much to the chagrin of referee S.D. Jones. But the damage is done and "The Soul Stealer" heads to his corner to tag in Brickhouse Brown. Brown and Tajiri have a good amount of back and forth until Tajiri hits The Shining Wizard for the win. Backstage Arn Anderson looks relieved to have found Miss Elizabeth and grabs her; but when the woman turns around it's only Rockin' Robin. He gets her to help in the search. Okerlund updates the fans on the Miss Elizabeth situation. She's still nowhere to be found. He and Lanny then rib one another over their favorite in the next match. Gene is going with "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin; despising "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho. "Thunderkiss '65" by White Zombie then sounds as Chris Jericho prances his wayy from the back. In the ring he midly flirts with Beulah before telling her to get Garvin's geriatric ass out there.Once Garvin is in the ring, Chris Jericho tells him he's tired of Grandpas trying to wrestle and that Ronnie should be using a walker and having his bed pan changed at a retirement castle somewhere. Ronnie then goes off on Jericho calling him a yellow, overrated, young punk who thinks jumping around like some sort of sissy makes him a wrestler. Jericho then tells Garvin that though he may be young; he's already forgotten more than "The Rugged One" ever knew about wrestling; which is pretty bade given Garvin's sinility. He then says he will give a demonstation of his wrestling knowledge here tonight by never using the same move twice. Garvin replies that that shouldn't be a problem considering he's going to make pretty short work of him.Match: Chris Jericho vs. Ronnie Garvin Both Chris Jericho and Ronnie Garvin bring out the best and worst in each other as they battle back and forth. Garvin gets on referee Davis' bad side at one point when he bites Jericho's arm to get out of a rear facelock. Jericho gets a near fall following a springboard moonsault and looks on the verge of winning it after several pin attempts by both parties when "The Rugged One" decks him and as Chris spins about Garvin grabs him by the head and takes him down with a backbreaker over his knee for the win. Getting to his feet Garvin spits on Jericho before wiping his face with his towel and tossing it at him. Jericho however was true to his word and during the 11-minute bout didn't use the same move twice. We are then taken back stage where Scott Taylor runs up to Arn Anderson. He tells "The Enforcer" he heard screams coming from the dressing room of Papa Shango. Together the two men run down the hall and burst into Shango's room. The room is dimly lit with a bluish glow and torches burn. On the far end we see Manami Toyota and Brickhouse Brown on either side of "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango.
He has Miss Elizabeth tied up and she has a strange liquid trickling out of her mouth as she cries and squirms in horror.
Papa Shango is chanting something about "Kali Ma" and is holding his hand in a tight claw near Miss Elizabeth's chest. Arn screams at Shango to stop as both he and Taylor leap into action. Taylor begins trading punches with Brown and Anderson nails Shango with a spinebuster on one of the locker room benches. Manami Toyota then rushes to the aide of Shango and helps him flee the area and Brown soon joins them. Taking a knife from Papa Shango's shrine; Arn cuts Miss Elizabeth loose and holds her as she falls into her arms crying. She says that they made her drink some sort of strange liquid but she's alright.
Okerlund welcomes the viewers back to Eastern Championship as they get set for tonight's Main Event. He then goes off on how hideous the actions of The Dark Circle are; especially in regards to Shango. For once Poffo agrees. Pomp and Circumstance then hits as Eastern Heavyweight Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage emerges from the back with Debbie Combs. Savage seems visibly shaken.
Main Event: Randy Savage vs. Matt Borne
Matt Borne immediately goes on the attack and gets in some good offense once Long starts the match. It's obvious Randy Savage isn't in the mood to play however and after an eye rake to stop Borne's assault; he systematically dissects "The Maniac" and takes him out for good with a brutal piledriver before making the pin. It's pretty obvious "The Macho Man" is upset about something and even Debbie Combs keeps her distance when he exits the ring.
Lights Fade.

06/11/94 - New Jersey"Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme. He boogies his way out and high fives several cheering kids and their parents before getting on the stage before them. He then introduces himself as AWA Legend and former Lightweight Champion; and wrestling's one and only true "Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff! He then welcomes the kids at home to the another exciting episode of ECW Slammin' Saturdays! He informs them that a new face in ECW and relative rookie to the world of professional wrestling will be joining them today; "The Saviour of Sea Isle City" Steve Corino.
He then tells the kids it's time for the first match of the show; in which we'll see an exciting Match featuring two of the most evil men in the world of wrestling today; The Blitzkrieg and his manager The Baron Von Raschke. He tells the kids that he's had the misfortune to be in the ring against them before and that The Blitzkrieg is more of a monster than a man.The Blitzkrieg vs. "Big" Al Green We're taken to a pre-recorded match in which The Baron Von Raschke appears on the ramp followed by his charge The Blitzkrieg as "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein plays. Inside the ring Raschke rants and raves about how his charge from The Republic of Germany will decimate any American pig foolish enough to step inside the ring with The Blitzkrieg. "Big" Al Green answers that challenge wearing camouflage. He gets in The Blitzkrieg's face before Teddy Long starts the match. They're both big men and brawl about the ring; but The Blitzkrieg clearly overpowers his opponent and in the end takes his face off with a big boot before making the pin. After the match the monster holds an inert Al Green up for The Baron as he delivers The Brain Claw to their screaming prey. We're told that D stands for "Dangerous" Danny Davis. Danny then informs us that this can net us three points in the game Scattegories.Buck Zumhoff then welcomes the kids at home back to the show. He talks about what an amazing win it was The Blitzkrieg and it's scary how big and powerful he is. He seems a bit worried when he tells them that says "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg and his manager The Baron Von Raschke will be here on Slammin' Saturdays next week! The kids seem a bit upset by this turn of events. He then introduces "The Savior of Sea Isle City" Steve Corino who comes out and shakes his hand.Zumhoff asks Steve where Sea Isle City is and why he's its savior. Steve tells Buck not to be an idiot. Sea Isle City is right here in New Jersey! This gets a round of applause from the kids. He then says that he's its self appointed savior because Sea Isle City is a slum that needs all the help it can get. And that everyone should do their best to help their community. Zumhoff agrees with this and says that as a relative newcomer to the world of professional wrestling; if he can share with the kids how he got his start here.
Corino says that he used to train with his friend Matt and Jeff Hardy; but that those losers are off being held back somwheres. He says it's important not to surround yourself with layabouts who drag you down in life; so for the kids to choose their friends wisely. Buck then asks Corino what he hopes to accomplish in his wrestling career. Steve Corino says to be ECW Champ of course. That's what all wrestlers should aspire to be if they take the sport seriously. He then tells Buck and the kids that while he wants to be Champ; it's also important for him to get there without stabbing people in the back and to conduct himself fairly in the ring. At this point a teen in the audience raises his hand and Corino asks him what's his question.
The teen says his name is Chris and he wants to know if Steve is so into sportsmanship; then why did he poke Bobby Starr in the eye last week and why did he... Steve interrupts him and asks the teen what his name is again. He says Chris Tres... Steve says whatever kid. Just respect your elders and shut your mouth. This turns the kids against Corino and Buzz tells him that was uncalled for. Steve half-heartedly apologizes and then shows the kids a few wrestling moves with Buck before Zumhoff thanks him for joining them here today.
Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff himself? He then says while he may not think much of that Corino kid; he does have some good taste in entrance music; as he sends us to "Fire" by Scooter.Scooter - Fire (Official Video HQ)Finally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from back on March 30th 1994 when "The Ravishing" Rick Rude settled his ongoing differences with "The Outlaw" Black Bart in that night's Main Event.3/30/94 Main Event: Rick Rude vs. Black Bart Rick Rude locks up with Black Bart as the match begins. Bart immediately breaks it with a snapmare and goes to work on the head of Rude. He brutally hammers on Rude before lifts him to his feet and slams him hard with a running back elbow which knocks The Ravishing One to the floor where he begins stomping on him. Down on the groudn Rick manages to grab Bart's foot and pulling it out from under him, drops The Outlaw to the ground. Using the second rope to get to his feet, Rude stomps on Bart a bit before hitting an elbow drop which Bart rolls free from. Rick kicks the mat in pain as Bart gets back to his feet and lifts Rude to his feet, hitting him in the neck and back before connecting with a back bodydrop. Going for the cover, Bart gets a near two count. Black Bart tries to keep Ravishing Rick down, but he is soon on one knee battling back as the two men begin trading punches and chops in the middle of the ring. Finally Rude catches Bart off guard and whips him into the corner. Charging The Outlaw, Rude hits the Bronco Buster in the corner. When Long counts to four, Rude gets off Bart and lifting him to his feet, elbows him in the jaw before hammering him in the corner. As Bart goes limp Rude lifts the big man up onto the top turnbuckle and hits the Frankensteiner off the top turnbuckle. Going for the pin, Rude gets a two before Bart kicks out. Keeping on top of him, Rude lifts Bart to a seated position and begins punching him in the head intil Bart connects with a low blow which the ref misses. Back on his feet, Bart kicks Rude in the gut and hits a vertical suplex; which gets him a two count. Lifting Rude up to his feet again, Bart whips him into the ropes and nails a clothesline. He repeats this before making another cover for another two. Bart is visibly frustrated and pulls his hair before lifting Rude back to his feet again and beating on him before going for a powerbomb; which to his surprise Rick counters with a huge DDT. With his opponent laide out, Rick goes up top and connects with a diving knee drop before going for the pin, which only gets him a near three. Both men look tired, but it is The Ravishing One who crawls to his feet first, and after smacking Bart around on the ground he lifts the big man to his feet; when The Outlaw shocks him with a roll-up. Rude kicks out just before the three and the two men are back on their feet in seconds trading punches in the middle of the ring. Bart ends up overpowering Rude whom he whips across the ring, but on the rebound Rude nails him with a hard clothesline. Dragging Black Bart back up to his feet, Rick Rude sets him up for the Rude Awakening; and he connects. Making the cover, he puts The Outlaw away.
Lights Fade.

06/29/94 - Manhattan Center Manhattan, NYMean Gene welcomes the Wrestling Fans to Eastern Championship Wrestling; tonight from the Manhattan Center deep in the heart of Manhattan, New York. He and his broadcast partner "The Genius" Lanny Poffo then hype tonight's card which will see Eastern Championship's Tag-Team, Intercontinental; and Heavyweight Champions all in action. But first to take place is a number one contender's match for the Women's Championship; which Lanny says should be a bikini contest until he hears Luna Vachon is involved. Beulah McGillicutty then makes the introductions for the first match of the evening.Match: Luna Vachon vs. Jacqueline Moore Referee Teddy Long has his hands full in this match where Luna Vachon often switches between physically attacking her opponent Jacqueline Moore and verbally abusing her manager The Lady Alexandra. Although Luna gives more than she gets for the majority of the bout; it's Luna's preoccupation with her manager that costs her the match when "Miss Texas" ends it after delivering a spinning heel kick to the face of Vachon.Voodoo drums play as the lights go dim and smoke fills the arena. On the stage Papa Shango appears with fellow Dark Circle members Brickhouse Brown and Manami Toyota. Gene discusses the coming tag-team Main Event next week between The Dark Circle and the team of Randy Savage and Arn Anderson. Lanny says it'd be interesting to see how the Dark Circle fairs when facing off against even numbers as he's sure Debbie Combs will be at ringside to offset Toyota; but it'll be a miracle if "The Enforcer" and "Macho Man can remain on the same page during the match. Okerlund then hypes the coming match as Rick Rude's strip theme hits and runs down the history between Shango and Rude here at Eastern Championship.Match: Papa Shango vs. Rick Rude Before S.D. Jones can even start the match; these two rivals tear into one another. There's good back and forth, but everytime Rick Rude seems to get the better of Papa Shango; either Brickhouse Brown of Manami Toyota interfere while the other distracts Jones. "The Ravishing One" appears to be in trouble when Shango connects with a big boot and makes the cover. However before Jones can even make the count; he is distracted by an attack on the outside. It's Arn Anderson! He cleans house by nailing Brickhouse Brown with a spinebuster on the outside before running off Manami Toyota. Inside the ring Papa Shango is yelling at the ref to do his job when Rick Rude gets up to his feet and surprised "The Soul Stealer" with an atomic drop. Picking Shango up again; Rude catches him offguard with the overhead gutwrench backbreaker rack and after applying it for several painful minutes forces him to submit. After the match Shango is helped out of the ring by Brickhouse Brown while Arn and Rick shake hands in the middle of the ring.Okerlund welcomes us back and they discuss the previous match between Papa Shango and Rick Rude; the latter of whom was assisted by "The Enforcer " Arn Anderson. Lanny suggests that perhaps Shango has made one enemy too many here at Eastern Championship. Irish Folk music then plays as "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady appears and tosses gold coins to the crowd.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. Rhino As usual Erin O'Grady gives it his all and nails several high risk maneuvers on Rhino before the big man puts "The Leprechaun" away with a flapjack which he follows up with The Gore. After the match referee Danny Davis practically has to peel Erin up off the mat.
Poffo suggests O'Grady change his gimmick from "The Leprechaun" to "Irish Road-Kill" Erin O'Grady; with a hyphen because it'd look cool on those T-shirts nobody would buy. Okerlund then reminds the Fans that next week the Tag-Team Titles will be on the line when the Champs The New Orient Express will defend against Deep South. This a result of Deep South's big win last week when Yoshihiro Tajiri was pinned by The Junk Yard Dog.Before the match Mr. Fuji tells the fans in Manhattan that Deep South are a bunch of no good cheats who stole the victory last week. Teddy Long then makes him get out of the ring before the match begins.Tag-Team Match: The Stevies vs. The New Orient Express The Stevies bring out their A game in this one with quick tags in and out to keep the Tag-Team Champs off guard. When Dick moves out of the way it becomes fairly obvious "The U.K. Kidd" has overshot the move when his face connects with the guardrail with a resounding crack that gets most of the audience on their feet. Inside the ring he tells all the dudes and dudettes that Doug Williams is a good friend and one hell of a performer and calls on the fans to give a hand for "The U.K. Kidd." Which they do. It looks like things are about to heat up when Anderson gets on the mic and tells Randy how much he doesn't like him and how he'd like nothing better than to put him away for the three count right here and now; and strip him of the Eastern Heavyweight Title; that he doesn't deserve. Savage tells him that if that's the way he feels he should bring it and that Anderson has always been a second-rate punk riding Ric Flair's coattails. The two men look ready to come to blows when Anderson holds out his hand to Savage and tells him that their match next week isn't about them. That they have bigger fish to fry. And that they need to take Papa Shango and his cronies out for Miss Elizabeth. "Macho Man" looks like he still wants to fight; but eventually takes Arn's hand and says that he'll do this. For Liz.Just then however Papa Shango appears on the ramp with Brickhouse Brown and Manami Toyota as the lights go dim and smoke fills the arena.Voodoo drums are heard as Shango cackles and tells Randy Savage and Arn Anderson that they shouldn't be worried about him. The two men put up a valiant effort; but there're too many attackers and they go down under a sea of punches and kicks. At another signal from Papa Shango however the attack stops and he makes his way down to the ring with Brown and Toyota in tow. Inside the ring Shango cackles again over a bloodied and beaten Anderson and Savage. Ordering Brown to lift Anderson up; Shango takes "The Enforcer" and nails him with an inverted shoulderbreaker. He then does the same to the Heavyweight Champ. Shango stands over their lifeless forms and cackls as the voodoo drums continue.
Lights Fade.
