It will be a battle of the 'Youngs'. Gary Young takes on Skip Young. We will hear from Kerry Von Erich and we have several newcomers in action. Let's go to the ring and Marc Lowrance."
Match #1
Chris Adams w/"Playboy" Gary Hart and Sunshine vs. Chick Donovan
The"Gentleman" from Stratford upon Avon has been on fire as of late. He is scheduled for an American Heavyweight Title match with Kerry Von Erich. The muscular Californian will be a good test. Donovan uses his strength to offset Adams' wrestling skill. Chris is stymied early, but not for long. Adams goes to work and uses the superkick for the win.
Winner-Chris Adams
Kerry Von Erich is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, "With me is the American Heavyweight Champion. Kerry, you have held the title for a while, but now you have Chris Adams hot on your trail."
Kerry, "Adams is good. He needs to get away from Hart, but he is tough..."
Chris Adams, Sunshine and Gary Hart come out.
Lowrance, "Hold on, we don't need any trouble out here."
Sunshine, "Oh there won't be any trouble, as long as this coward puts that title on the line!"
Adams, "She's right Von Erich. It was announced that I would get a shot at the title, but where is it?"
Lowrance, "There are many reasons why a match hasn't been signed, scheduling, other titles."
Hart, "Come off it Lowrance. You're making excuses because you're a Von Erich apologist."
Kerry, "Look Adams, I don't care what it takes, i'm telling Ed Watt to get this match signed! I'm not ducking anyone!"
Hart, "Good, you get nice and mad. Lose your cool Von Erich, just what we wanted."
Lowrance, "Kerry vs. Adams has to be signed. When we return, Kerry will be in the ring."
Match #2
Non-Title Match
Kerry Von Erich (American Heavyweight Champion) vs. Bob Marcus
Young Bob Marcus has stepped in front of a buzzsaw. Kerry goes after Marcus and the youngster is in trouble. Kerry pounds him from pillar to post. He clamps on the Von Erich claw and it's over.
Winner-Kerry Von Erich
Match #3
The Fantastics vs. The Magic Dragon and Fishman
Plays and Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers make their way to the ring. The Denton crowd, especially the young ladies, love them. Fulton and Rogers enter the ring. They remove their sequined jackets and bow ties and are ready for action. The bell rings and it's the Magic Dragon vs. Tommy Rogers. Both men are quick and very skilled. Rogers rolls up the masked man and gets a two count. The Dragon is on trouble and he tags in, the Mexican veteran, Fishman. Fulton tags in and goes to work. He is sharp and uses the Fantastics flip for the three count. The men from Los Angeles are very impressive.
Winners-The Fantastics
Marc Lowrance is with Billy Jack Haynes.
Lowrance, "With me is one of the most popular, and most skilled, young wrestlers in the sport. Billy, welcome to Texas."
Haynes, "Thank you, Marc, it's a pleasure to be here."
Lowrance, "Billy, you had great success in the Northwest. What are your plans in World Class?"
Haynes, "Texas is where the action is. The best wrestling in the world is here in World Class. I'm here to try my luck against the best. If the Von Erichs need help, I'll be there. When a title is up for grabs, I'll be there. The fans can count on 100% from me all the time."
Lowrance, "Billy Jack Haynes is on Texas, and he is on our next match."
Match #4
Billy Jack Haynes vs. Mike Reed
The muscular Haynes removes his ring jackets and the ladies swoon. Young Mike Reed may have bitten off more than he can chew. Haynes uses his strength to control the action. Reed puts up a fight, but once Haynes clamps on the full Nelson, it's over.

Match #5
Skip Young vs. Gary Young
Two men who share a surname battle in the main event. The Denton crowd is solidly behind the minister's son from Dallas. "Sweet Brown Sugar" is hot from the start. He uses his quickness and high flying ability to put Gary on the run. Gary goes to the illegal tactics and that slows Skip. Gary begins to choke Skip and referee David Manning call for the break. Gary breaks, but goes back to the choke. Skip has to do something. He is able to roll out of the ring and regroup. He returns and goes back to the high flying moves. Mercer, "What a night in Denton. You can't ask for more, but we have it. We will be back at the Super Pit next week, and our main event will be an American Tag Team Championship match. The Long Riders defend the titles against the Fantastics. Can the newcomers win the titles? Then in two weeks, we will be back at the Sportatorium, and what a main event we will have. Matchmaker Ed Watt has signed the one we have been waiting for, Kerry Von Erich defends the American Heavyweight Title against Chris Adams. I know Adams, Hart and Sunshine are joyous about this. Don't miss the World Class Action!"
