*non-televised house show
1)Billy Anderson & Scott McGhee defeated Tommy Wright & George Wells at 11:16 when Anderson pinned Wright with an Oklahoma side roll. All four men followed the rules in this one, but the bout remained fast paced and closely contested. Anderson and McGhee had some problems with the size and power of Wells, but their experience as a team came through in the end as Anderson picked up the fall on his less experienced opponent.
2)Davey Boy Smith pinned Jerry Oske at 11:10 following the running power slam. Oske actually appears to be nearly as muscular and strong as Davey, but there is more to wrestling than just that and Smith is far ahead in speed, agility and technique. Oske puts up a good fight but is ultimately no match and falls victim to the delayed standing vertical suplex and running power slam.
3)Magnum Force: Dave Peterson & Scott Hall & The Breakdancers: Brickhouse Brown & 'Stylin' Mark Ragin defeated Rene Goulet, Duke Myers & The Interns #1 & #2 (w/Tux Newman) at 15:17 when Brown pinned Myers after a double drop kick from both Breakdancers. The referee had a lot of trouble controlling a match with so many participants in it.
INTERMISSION
4) 'Cowboy' Scott Casey pinned 'Wildman' Jack Armstrong at 9:25 following a running bulldog headlock after Armstrong missed a charge into the corner. The veteran Armstrong was a formidable opponent and roughed Casey up before the opening bell, forcing him to battle back against adversity, but few people kick out of the Cowboy's bulldog after it has been properly applied.
5)Jos LeDuc defeated Harley Race by countout at 9:57 when LeDuc posted Race and then tied Harley's ankles together with the camera cable to prevent him from returning to the ring. LeDuc then went and retrieved his ax handle and looked like he was prepared to use it on Race when Wild West Heavyweight Champion Jacques Rougeau ran in and placed himself between the two men. Referees and officials entered the ring shortly thereafter and were eventually able to get LeDuc to relinquish his weapon. Jos then acted like he was going to the ring, but when Jacques turned his attention to the fallen Race, LeDuc re-entered the ring and leveled Rougeau from behind with a massive clothesline.
6) Wild West Heavyweight Champion Jacques Rougeau pinned Bret Hart at 20:15 following a missile dropkick from the second rope to retain the title. Hart proved that he had no moral compass when he made his way to the ring and demanded the the shaken up Rougeau defend the title against him, as scheduled, or forfeit the belt. Wild West Wrestling Commissioner Tito Montez came out and asked Jacques if he wanted to post pone the match, but Rougeau refused and put the title on the line. Hart controlled the majority of the match and looked on the verge of winning the title, but he made one fatal mistake when his shoulder struck the steel post when Jacques moved as Hart was charging the corner. This allowed Rougeau one 'last ditch effort' in which he slammed Bret and followed up with the dropkick from the second rope to set up the fall and retain the title. (Jacques' 5th Title Defense)
