FIRST ROUND MATCHES
ALL 1 FALL, 15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
Nacho Berrera vs. Mike Rotundo
Rotundo makes quick work of Berrera, winning the match following an airplane spin.
Winner: Mike Rotundo via pin @ 4:27
Invader 1 vs. Butcher Vachon
The two veterans are no strangers to a good fight, and it shows as they disregard all rules and the referee has no choice to to disqualify both of them.
Winner: Double Disqualification @ 5:23
Robert Fuller vs. Alexis Smirnoff
The fans are unsure who to root for in the match featuring two rule breakers, Fuller gets a smattering of cheers when he is able to put the big Russian away.
Winner: Robert Fuller via pin @ 6:04
Ricky Gibson vs. Krusher Kruschev
In the evenings best match thus far, both Gibson and Kruschev seem on the verge of winning, but in the end the clock is the winner as the match reaches the 15 minute limit.
Winner: Time Limit Draw
Carlos Colon vs. AJ Petruzzi
The Puerto Rican legend looks strong in his first match of the evening, putting Petruzzi away following a powerslam.
Winner: Carlos Colon via pin @ 5.18
Rocky Della Serra vs. Paul Orndorff w/ Bobby Heenan
Orndorff doesn't have any trouble with Della Serra, pinning him following a piledriver.

Barry Windham vs. Obie Davis
To the delight of the crowd, Windham is able to put away Davis after a bulldog.

Southern Champion Dusty Rhodes vs. Terry Daniels
Rhodes brings the crowd to their feet from the moment he enters the arena and they don't sit until his match is complete and he leaves the ring area following his victory.
Winner: Dusty Rhodes via pin @ 3:22

Paul Orndorff vs. Carlos Colon
Dusty Rhodes vs. Barry Windham
Paul Orndorff w/ Bobby Heenan vs. Carlos Colon
In a match that could have been a main event on most other nights anywhere in the world, Orndorff and Colon put on an excellent match. Colon seems ready to win when he locks on the figure four, but Orndorff is able to reach the ropes. Despite the injured leg, Paul is able to eventually work Colon into position to hit the dreaded pile driver to set up the pin.

Dusty Rhodes vs. Barry Windham
The fans seem ready for what should be a great match between the two partners. It starts off tentatively, but quickly Dusty's experience puts him in the drivers seat, but he doesn't go in for the kill yet. This gives Windham the chance to go on the attack. Dusty fights back and hits a vicious clothesline that sends both men tumbling outside the ring. Both men are groggy after hitting the floor, but Windham seems to recover first, and he is just about to get into the ring, when Dusty is able to slow him down right before the 10 count. The referee counts both men out as they attempt to beat the count.
Winner: Double Count Out
After the match, Rhodes goes to shake Windham's hand, and Barry hesitates before grasping Dusty's hand as well. Barry says something to Dusty that seems to upset him, but and the two leave the ring separately.

Despite the few cheers Fuller received in his first round match, the crowd immediately starts booing him as he attacks Rotundo before the bell. After a few minutes, Rotundo is able to recover and comes close to wining, but Fuller fights back. The two trade offense, and Rotundo hits the airplane spin to get the pin after a long match.
Winner: Mike Rotundo via pin @ 16:24
FINAL ROUND
1 FALL, 60 MINUTE TIME LIMIT

Mike Rotundo vs. Paul Orndorff w/ Bobby Heenan
Rotundo is out first, to the cheers of the crowd, and he looks tired after his was with Robert Fuller. Orndorff is out next, looking a bit more refreshed since he hand a bye in the semi finals. Heenan is laughing, taunting the fans that he told them Dusty would lose.
The two lock up after the bell rings, and it's a tough match that sees neither man be able to hold the advantage for too long. There are several near pinfalls, finally Rotundo gets Orndorff up on his shoulders for an airplane spin, but Paul slips off after Heenan distracts Rotundo, and is able to roll Mike up for the pin.
