Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, “Welcome to ‘World Championship Wrestling’! What a show we have for you! We have a great American Title match for you tonight. Kerry Von Erich defends the title against the mysterious Missing Link. We will also see Chavo Guerrero, Killer Brooks and the Pretty Young Things in action. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
Killer Brooks vs. Mike Reed
The rough, tough Brooks goes after Reed at the bell. Reed puts up a fight, but Brooks is too much. He overpowers Reed and wins with the elbow drop.
Winner-Killer Brooks
Chavo Guerrero is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me is, the Mexican superstar, Chavo Guerrero. Chavo, you have been impressive since coming back to Texas.”
Guerrero, “Thank you Marc. ‘World Class’ has the best wrestling in the world. I came here because I wanted to wrestle the best, and I have. I’m looking for a title shot and maybe finding a partner and going after the tag titles.”
Lowrance, “Chavo Guerrero is a contender for any title in the world and a worthy opponent in the sport. Let’s see him in action.”
Match #2
Chavo Guerrero vs. Mark Ragin
Ragin is a tough youngster and is game. He takes the fight to the veteran from El Paso. Guerrero absorbs the blows and rallies. He uses the Gory special for the win.

Match #3
Gary Young vs. Johnny Mantell
The “Pride of Montague County” takes on the veteran from Little Rock, AR. This is a good, even match. Mantell takes control early and gets a two count with a victory roll. Young kicks out. Young goes for an abdominal stretch, but they are too close to the ropes and referee, Rick Hazard, calls for the break. Both have their chances and the crowd is on the edge of their seats. The Television time expires and we have a draw.
Result-Time Limit Draw
The Pretty Young Things are with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me are, Norvell Austin and Koko B. Ware, the Pretty Young Things. Gentlemen, you have arrived in Texas and been very impressive.”
Austin, “Of course we are! The Pretty Young Things came to Texas to show these inbred wannabe cowboys what real, tough men look like! Koko and I have beaten everyone in every other place, and now we here to show you what we can do!”
Ware, “Oh Marc Lowrance, Texas don’t know what hit it! The PYTs be here! Now we gonna destroy anyone in our path and tonight it be those big, slimy bikers!”
Lowrance, “The PYTs will take on the Davidson Brothers in our next match.”
Match #4
The Davidson Brothers vs. The Pretty Young Things
The Davidsons and referee David Manning are waiting in the ring. We hear,
The PYTs hit the ring and attack the Davidsons. The California bikers are stunned, but they regroup and fight back. We have a brawl. Manning gets things sorted out and we have a tag team match. It is Ware and Rick in the ring. They lock up and the bigger Davidson drives Koko to the math. Davidson puts the boots to Ware. Austin runs in and John follows. We have a pier six brawl again. The match continues in the vein until Ware rolls up John for a quick three count. The Davidsons don’t know what hit them.
Winners-The Pretty Young Things
Kerry Von Erich is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me is the American Heavyweight Champion. Kerry, you take on the Missing Link tonight. Gary Hart, and his men, have been chasing your title, but you can’t overlook the Link.”
Kerry, “Marc. the Link is crazy, but he is also very dangerous. I can’t look past him. I have to keep an eye on Akbar too. That’s the way it is when you are the Champion. I like the challenge.”
Lowrance, “A lot of people think, you and your brothers, and your cousin Lance, are overextended. You have the Six Man Title and then all the singles matches. Can you keep up this pace.”
Kerry, “We love it, we want the best, and we’ll beat the best.”
Lowrance, “Our title match is next.”

American Heavyweight Championship
Kerry Von Erich (Champion) vs. The Missing Link w/General Skandor Akbar
The Link paces back and forth and the sound system plays.
Kerry Von Erich, the American Heavyweight Champion, comes to the ring. The Sportatorium crowd is at a fever pitch. The bell rings the match begins. Kerry ties to wrestle, but the Link has a brawl in mind. He uses his head, literally. He headbutts Kerry out of the ring. Referee Bronko Lubich backs up the Link. The allows Akbar to put the boots Kerry. Kerry struggles to his feet and Akbar backs off. Kerry goes after the Link and the match has turned into a brawl. Kerry whips the Link into the ropes and slaps on the seep hold! Suddenly, someone hits the ring!
Lowrance, “I’m not making the same mistake again, that’s Killer Khan! Killer Khan is attacking Kerry Von Erich!”
The Link and Khan work over Kerry. Kevin and Mike hit the ring, followed by Kamala and it’s a six man brawl! It takes countless wrestlers from the back to pull the six men apart.
Winner-Kerry Von Erich (Disqualification)
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “Killer Khan is back in Texas, and with Skandor Akbar! The landscape changes again! Akbar is back on top, and speaking of General Akbar, his tag team champions will be in action next week. The Long Riders, Bill and Scott Irwin, will defend the American Tag Team Titles against Gary Hart’s team of the Great Kabuki and Black Bart. That is a match you will not want to miss!”
