Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, "We are two weeks away from Christmas, and two weeks from the big 'Star Wars' show at Reunion Arena. We will talk more about the card, but let's talk about tonight's show. We have an exciting main event for you, Iceman King Parsons takes on the Great Kabuki. That will be one exciting contest. Let's go to the ring and see young Angelo Mosca Jr. In action."
Match #1
Angelo Mosca Jr. Vs. Dale Veasey
The young, second generation, Canadian, has been very impressive. Veasey, a tough Alaskan, will be a test. Veasey is very aggressive from the opening bell. He takes the fight to Mosca and Angelo is on his heels. He backs Mosca into a corner, and the youngster fights his way out. He goes after Veasey and wins with a victory roll.
Winner-Angelo Mosca Jr.
Match #2
Six Man Tag Team Match
Kamala, The Missing Link and Mr. X w/General Skandor Akbar vs. George Weingroff, Art Crews and El Diablo
Akbar's men will meet Tarzan Tyler's team at "Christmas Star Wars". They are a formidable six man team. The bell rings and "Devastation Incorporated" go to work. Kamala chops and kicks away at Weingroff. Somehow they get Kamala to tag in Mr. X. The masked newcomer works over Weingroff and then El Diablo. Crews tags on and has no better luck. Finally the Missing Link joins the fray and finishes off Crews with a headbutt. This team is a major threat to the Canadians' titles.
Winners-Kamala, The Missing Link and Mr. X
Kerry Von Erich is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me is Kerry Von Erich. Kerry, you will challenge Gino Hernandez for the American Heavyweight Title on Christmas night, and it will be in a steel cage. This is a dangerous match, but it might be your chance to avoid interference by Gary Hart, of Sunshine.”
Kerry, “Marc, it’s tough to beat Hernandez by himself and then you have Hart and Sunshine and they want to stick their noses into things. I don’t want to wrestle in a cage, but I’m not afraid to do it. I’ll beat Gino and I’ll have the title again.”
Lowrance, “Christmas night, at Reunion Arena, Kerry vs. Gino and Kevin vs. Chris, both in a cage.”
Match #3
Kerry Von Erich vs, Mike Miller
Miller and referee Bronko Lubich wait in the ring. We hear,
“Tom Sawyer” play and Kerry hits the ring. The Sportatorium crowd goes crazy. This match is all Kerry. He batters Miller from pillar to post. Mike makes a brief comeback, but it’s not enough. Kerry Clamps on the Von Erich claw and that’s it.
Winner-Kerry Von Erich
As Lubich raises Kerry’s hand, there is a commotion in the aisle. Gino Hernandez, Gary Hart and Sunshine come to ringside. Hart takes the house mic.
Hart, “Kerry Von Erich, it’s going to be a bad Christmas for you and your brother. I could tell you what’s going to happen, but I’ll let this little lady tell you.”
Hart hands the mic to Sunshine.
Sunshine, “Kerry, I just want to tell you, I’m here to help Chris and Gino take care of you two. On Christmas night, things are going to be great for us, but like Gary said, Christmas is going to be a bad for your family, and I’ll tell you one more thing, I’ve been around Gino and Chris and they know how to treat a lady, something you can’t handle.”
Hernandez, Hart and Sunshine leave the area.
Match #4
Chris Adams w/”Playboy” Gary Hart and Sunshine vs. Johnny Mantell
Johnny Mantel waits in the ring with referee Rick Hazard. We hear,
Chris Adams struts to the ring. His demeanor has changed, as well as his wrestling tactics. Johnny Mantell, the ‘Pride of Montague County’ will be no pushover. The bell rings and the match is on. Chris’s confidence is evdient as he wrestles even better than before. He has an answer for everything Mantell tries. Johnny even goes to the fisticuffs, but that doesn’t work either. Chris lands a superkick for the win.
Winner-Chris Adams
Bill Mercer is in the studio.
Mercer, “We are fast approaching Christmas. After we all open our presents, we are headed to Reunion Arena for ‘Christmas Star Wars’. We have an exciting night of action for you you. We have three big title matches and two huge cages matches. The American Tag Team Titles are on the line. The Long Riders, with their manager Skandor Akbar, defend against Al Madril and Brian Adias. The World Six Man Tag Team Titles are up for grabs, as the Canadian team of Tarzan Tyler, Mad Dog Lefebvre, Frenchy Martin and Sailor White meet Akbar’s team of Kamala, the Missing Link and Mr. X. Now for the two cage matches. In the first, Kevin Von Erich meets ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams, who will undoubtedly have Gary Hart and Sunshine with him. Then Hart’s man, Gino Hernandez, defends the American Title against Kerry Von Erich in that cage. What a night of wrestling.”
Match #5
Iceman King Parsons vs. The Great Kabuki w/”Playboy” Gary Hart
Hart’s man from the “Melting Pots of Sin” takes on the popular Iceman. Kabuki goes through is ritual with the nunchucks and then spits the green mist in the air. The bell rings and the match is on. Kabuki uses chops and kicks to slow Parsons. The man from St. Louis is in trouble. Kabuki backs Iceman into the corner and it looks bad, but Parsons rallies. He uses good old fashioned rights and lefts to back up the “Boogie Man”. Parsons is in control. He ships Kabuki into the ropes and clamps on the sleephold. Gary Hart shouts desperate instructions from ringside. Kabuki gets to the ropes and the hold is broken. Iceman moves in, but Kabuki spits the green mist into his eyes. Parsons is blinded. Referee David Manning calls for the bell and disqualifies Kabuki. Parsons will not take this lying down.
Winner-Iceman King Parsons (Disqualification)
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “They are helping Iceman to the back. This looks very bad. Hopefully we will have an update on his condition next week, and speaking of next week, we have a big main event signed. We know the six man title match is set for Christmas, but we will have a preview of it next week. Sailor White will meet the Missing Link, and you know that one will be wild. Join us next week.”
