Bill Mercer is seated at the broadcast table.
Mercer, “Welcome to ‘World Class Championship Wrestling’. We have an exciting hour of wrestling for you. You will see Kerry and Mike Von Erich in tag team action, Bobby Jaggers is in action, and in our main event, Kevin Von Erich takes on the awesome Kamala. Last week, we saw Gary Hart give some sort of envelope to Chris Adams. Chris is not here tonight. He is wrestling in another region of the country. Hart is not taking, so I guess the mystery continues. Let’s go to the ring.”
Match #1
Skip Young vs. Dale Veasey
The popular Young, from Dallas, takes on, the tough Alaskan, Veasey. Veasey jumps Skip before the bell and begins to work him over. Young is in trouble. Referee Rick Hazzard warns Veasey, but the damage is done. The Sportatorium crowd gets behind Skip. he rallies with his fast paced style. He lands a big Dropkick for the win.

The Davidson Brothers vs. Mike Reed and Manuel Villalobos
Reed and Villalobos are two youngsters trying to make a name for themselves. There are easier people to try that against beside the Davidson Brothers. John and Rick tag in and out and are on top of their games They use very few wrestling holds, but they punish their opponents with fists and boots. Reed and Villalobos are game, but no match for the California bikers. John ends the match with a big boot to Reed and a cover and pin.
Winners-The Davidson Brothers
Marc Lowrance is with the Von Erich Brothers.
Lowrance, “With me are Kerry, Kevin and Mike. Kevin , you meet Kamala tonight That is a dangerous challenge.”
Kevin, “Marc, he’s a wild man and he is very dangerous. I don’t back down from a challenge, and he’s a challenge.”
Lowrance, “The even bigger news is that the Canadian Six Man Championship team is coming to Texas. You will get a shot at them and they will be ready.”
Kerry, “We want those titles! The Freebirds stole them and high-tailed it out of Texas. Kev and Mike and I are ready for this Canadian team!”
Lowrance, “The Von Erichs are primed for action. When we return, Kerry and Mike will be in the ring and Kevin will be up later.”
Match #3
Kerry and Mike Von Erich vs. Mike Miller and Mr. Ebony
We hear,
Kerry and Mike Von Erich come to the ring. Mike Miller and Mr. Ebony will prove to be a good test. Kerry and Mr. Ebony open the match. The masked man uses every dirty trick in the book. Kerry is in some trouble. He mounts a comeback and Mike Miller tags in Kerry has him on the run as well. MIke tags in and Ebony tags in Mike uses a victory roll to pin the masked man. The Von Erichs look good.
Winners-Kerry and Mike Von Erich
Gary Hart and Bobby Jaggers join Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, "With me are Bobby Jaggers, and his manager, 'Playboy' Gary Hart. First of all, what is your relationship with Chris Adams? What was in that envelope?"
Hart, "Listen to me Lowrance, I told that was my business. I came out here to talk about Bobby Jaggers. The 'Hangman' is in Texas to make a name for himself. He is here to beat the Von Erichs, Skip Young, Johnny Mantell and tonight it's old man Jose Lothario."
Lowrance, Mr. Hart, you've been around for a long time, you know Jose Lothario is a veteran and very skilled wrestler."
Hart, " He ain't Bobby Jaggers. "
Lowrance, "When we return, Bobby Jaggers vs. Jose Lothario."
Match #4
Jose Lothario vs. "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers w/"Playboy" Gary Hart
The "Super Sock" is a house afire. He takes the fight to Jaggers. He clamps on the sleeper and Jaggers grabs the ropes. Referee Bronko Lubich breaks the hold. Hart calls Jaggers to the floor and confers with him. The "Hangman" returns to the ring with a bang. He pounds away at Lothario and finishes him with the Hangman.
Winner-Bobby Jaggers
Marc Lowrance is with General Skandor Akbar and Kamala.
Lowrance, "With me is General Skandor Akbar and Kamala. Are we safe with this man here?"
Akbar, “This man follows every order I give him. Friday translates and Kamala carries out my orders! You’re safe, as long as I decide you’re safe.”
Lowrance, “Tonight, Kamala meets Kevin Von Erich. This will be a test for your man.”
Akbar, “Kevin Von Erich must be tired of wrestling, and walking. Kamala will destroy him tonight. He won’t make it to the State Fair show.”
Lowrance, “Your men are scheduled to face the Von Erich Brothers at the Coliseum, the Von Erichs look to be in fine form.”
Akbar, Not after tonight.”
Lowrance, “I don’t like the sound of that. When we return, our main event will be in the ring.”
Match #5
Kamala w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Kevin Von Erich
Kamala jumps Kevin before the bell. He chops and kicks away at the popular man from Denton County. The Sportatorium crowd is on the verge of a riot. Kevin fires back. Kamala is in full retreat. He rolls out of the ring and Akbar and Friday try to communicate with the big Ugandan. He returns to the ring and the fight resumes. Kevin gives as good as he takes. Suddenly the Missing Link and the Magic Dragon hit the ring. Kerry and Mike follow and we have a Pier 6 brawl. It takes several wrestlers from the back to pull the wrestlers apart. Bronko Lubich throws the match out.
Result-No Contest
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, "Fans, those six men meet at the State Fair Coliseum on Saturday night. What a show it will be. Join us, next week, for 'World Class Championship Wrestling', Gino Hernandez will be here, as will Buck Zumhofe and Iceman King Parsons, and the Canadian six man team of, Mad Dog Lefebvre, Frenchy Martin and Sailor White will be here, don't miss it!"
