12/6/94 Craig Johnson opens the show. Johnson, “Welcome to ‘Paradise! What a night of tag team action we have for you! We have the WWWA Tag Title tournament, the ‘Pacific Tag Team Classic’, but that’s not all. Let me explain. Last weekend, before we left for Hawaii, ACW ran a show at the Convention Center in Anaheim, across the street from Disneyland. After that show we had new American Tag Team Champions, and here they are the Steiner Brothers.” The Steiner Brothers come out holding the title belts.  Johnson, “Gentlemen welcome to ACW and congratulations.” Scott, “Thank you Craig. We knew that the best tag team action in the world was in ACW, so my brother and I signed on.” Johnson, “It’s not often that a team wins a major title on their first night in an organization, but that just shows how talented these two gentlemen are. Rick what are your plans now.” Rick, “We want to wrestle any tag team in ACW. We will defend these titles against anyone who deserves it.” Johnson, “The Steiner Brothers will make their first title defense on TV next week, don miss it. Now let’s move on to the ‘Pacific Tag Team Classic’. The quarter-finals will be held tonight, and the semi-finals will take place on next week’s show. Let’s go to the ring for our first quarter-final match, Deep South vs. the Broad Street Bullies.” Match #1

Pettengill, “With me is Inspector Whippleman and the Quebecers. Inspector Whippleman your team is poised for action in the tournament, but there is other big news in ACW. The Steiner Brothers are the tag team champions. Many people thought the Quebecers would be the next champs.” Whippleman, “Pettengill you just can’t tell the whole story, can you? When I was interrogating witnesses for the RCMP they would withhold information. I could always get the information I wanted, whether they wanted to give it to me, or not. I will spare you my ‘enhanced interrogation’ methods. The Steiner Brothers won the titles because the former champions feared the Quebecers. I petitioned the ‘Board of Directors’ for title shot, but we didn’t get any. I have done the same thing now that the Steiners are the champions. We will get our chance and we will be the champions.” Pettengill, “O.K. Now on to the tournament. There are many top teams here tonight. How will the Quebecers fare?” Whippleman, “Pettengill, you fool, how do you think they’ll fare? I’ll answer that. We are going to win the tournament and then, as I stated before, we will be the American Tag Team Champions.” Pettengill, “Inspector Whippleman, confident as always. In our next match we will see the Quebecers take on Vic Steamboat and Charlie Norris, but first let’s see this clip from the ‘Franchise’.” We see Shane Douglas and Kimberly on Waikiki Beach. Kimberly is wearing a revealing pink bikini.  Douglas, “Look at this beautiful picture! Beautiful Waikiki Beach, the ‘Franchise’ and the most beautiful woman in the world Kimberly! When we walked out here every head turned, every man wished he could be me, but they can’t! The ‘Franchise’ in on top of the world, with Kimberly at my side! MIkey Whipwreck, Francine, eat your heart out!” Match #3

I know you have been touring around the world.” Watanabe, “Yes I have Todd. Womens wrestling is making great strides all over, but the best is here in ACW.” Pettengill, “Next up tonight are the semi-finals of the WWWA Tag Team Championship tournament. What are your views on the competition.” Watanabe, “The world is talking about this tournament. I like the American team of Velvet McIntyre and Tina Ferreri. I think they will make a name for themselves, but the odds are against them. The big team of Aja Kong and Bull Nakano are feared all over the world, so you have to like their chances. Double Inoue and Las Cachorras Orientales have been battling each other all over the world. This will be a great tournament.” Pettengill, “Wait a minute! You’re not getting away that easily. Who will win?” Watanabe, “I knew you’d ask that. Any of the four could win, but I’m picking Double Inoue.” Pettengill, “There you have it. The expert picks Double Inoue. Let’s see what happens.” Match #5

The finals of both tournaments are going to be exciting. Now let’s speak with Harley Race. Mr. Race your men meet Tommy Dreamer and the Gangstas in six man action later tonight. It will be a war. Let’s hear from those three men.” We see the Gangstas and Tommy Dreamer. New Jack, “Race you send those three fools to the ring, Mustafa, Tommy and I gonna’ tear them apart. Me and Mustafa have been fighting our whole lives! You think wrestling’s a game, it ain’t for us! We fight to survive, not to win titles, or anything. Those fat fools you got in for a long night!” Dreamer, “I have the best partners in the business. It’s going to be a war, but we’re ready for anything!” Pettengill, “Mr. Race what do you have to say?” Race, “Three loudmouths that can’t back up anything. Gang has taken care of Dreamer before and he’ll do it tonight and those two ex-cons better worry about checking in with their parole officers instead of wrestling my men.” Pettengill, “Harley Race doesn’t’ seem too worried.” Match #7
Six Man Tag Team Match
Tommy Dreamer and the Gangstas vs. One Man Gang, Demolition Ax and 911 w/Harley RaceThe match is a wild brawl. We see little, or no, wrestling, but the excitement is top notch. Both teams have their chances to win. The end comes when all six men are battling in, and around the ring. One Man Gang has Mustafa backed into the ropes. Race drives a steel chair into his kidneys and Mustafa goes down. OMG lands the big splash and referee Teddy Long sees this and counts the fall. Race’s men have an undeserved victory. Winners-One Man Gang, Demolition Ax and 911Craig Johnson and Todd Pettengill are seated at the announce table. Johnson, “What a night of action! No one in the wrestling business does tag team wrestling like ACW does! And this is just week one. Next week we will continue with the action. Todd tells us what is store for our fans.” Pettengill, “The semi-final matchups for the ‘Pacific Tag Team Classic’ have been announced. The Eliminators will take on the Pitbulls and the Quebecers will meet Deep South. The two winners will then meet for the championship. We will also decide the WWWA Tag Team Championship. Double Inoue will take on LCO, and the new American Tag Team Champions, The Steiner Bothers will make their first title defense. Craig I know that’s not all.” Johnson, “No it’s not. We have two other tag team matches scheduled for next week. In womens action the WWWA Champion, Akira Hokuto, will team with Chaparrita ASARI to take on Alundra Blayze and Tina Ferrari and in a match just signed, Shane Douglas accompanied by the lovely Kimberly will team with the Sandman to meet Mikey Whipwreck, and a newcomer, Johnny Ace, accompanied by Francine. Finally we will have an announcement concerning 2 Cold Scorpio, his injuries and the American Heavyweight title. If you thought this week was exciting, just wait until the 13th. Don’t miss it!” |

12/13/94 Craig Johnson opens the show. Johnson, “Welcome to Honolulu, HI and the Neal S. Blaisdell Center. The tag team action continues tonight. The WWWA Tag Team Title will be decided, the new tag team champions will be in action, we have two other tag matches and the ‘Pacific Tag Team Classic’ will be decided. Let’s bring out one of the teams in that competition, the Quebecers and Inspector Whippleman.” Whippleman and the Quebecers join Johnson. Johnson, “Inspector Whippleman your men are in the semi-finals. They face the tough veteran team of “Deep South”, the Junkyard Dog and Dick Murdoch.” Whippleman, “Johnson, you ignorant boob, do you really think my men fear two Southerner? Americans are stupid by birth, but the people from the South put the ‘S’ in stupid. These two fine Canadian athletes have taken on all comers and in just a couple of more hours they will add ‘Pacific Tag Team Classic Champions’ to my collection. Quite impressive, if I do say so myself, and I do.” Johnson, “Well Inspector Whippleman is as confident as usual…” Whippleman, “Hold on Johnson, I am not finished.” Johnson, “Yes inspector.” Whippleman, “My tag team will add accolades and glory this week, but I have a surprise next week. I will debut a new man, the latest find of Inspector Whippleman.” Johnson, “Who will that be?” Whippleman, “Johnson don’t be impatient. This man will make my group even stronger. I can guarantee you that.” Johnson, “That is very interesting news. Now on to the semi-finals.” Match #1

She apparently suffered it in the semi-final match against Aja Kong and Bull Nakano. I cannot get confirmation of this, neither Mita, nor Shimoda will talk about it, but if she is injured, that would be a big boost for Double Inoue’s chances.” Pettengill, “That is very interesting. That’s why Tommy is the man to go to for womens wrestling news. We also have another womens tag team match, the WWWA Champion, Akira Hokuta, will team with her country woman, Chaparrita ASARI to take on the American team of Alundra Blayze and Tina Ferrari. Many people want to see Hokuto and Blayze go at it. Once again ACW is the place for womens action.” Match #3

The Sandman is drinking a Kona Longboard beer.  Johnson, “With me is an unusual threesome. The ‘Franchise’ with the lovely Kimberly and the Sandman. Douglas and the Sandman will take on Mikey Whipwreck and a newcomer, Johnny Ace. Mr. Douglas what about the Sandman.” Douglas, “What about him? He’s a drunk, but he’s a fighter and that’s what I want with me. I have the beautiful Kimberly for the out of the ring activities and the Sandman to help me in the ring.” Sandman, “Douglas’s right. I am a drunk, but I’m the best drunk in the business and I’m the best fighter, too! I came out here to try this new beer, Kona, it’s not that bad, I’ve had better, but I’ve had worse. If I drink enough of them Francine may start to look good to me!” Douglas and the Sandman laugh, but Kimberly seems embarrassed. Johnson, “Speaking of Francine, let’s go to Todd Pettengill with Mikey, Francine and Johnny Ace.” Pettengill is with Whipwreck, Ace and Francine.    Pettengill, “With me is Mikey Whipwreck, Francine and a newcomer to ACW Johnny Ace. Johnny welcome to ACW.” Ace, “Thanks Todd. I’ve wrestled all over the country and Japan and when the opportunity to come to ACW arose, I took it. I got here and Mikey needed a partner and I jumped at the chance. I heard Douglas and Sandman, they’re good, but Mikey and I are ready.” Francine, “I hear those two! Sandman I wouldn’t give you the time of day, sober, or not. Mikey and Johnny are going to take care of you tonight and if that giraffe, Kimberly, sticks her nose into things, I’ll take care of her!” Mikey, “Calm down, calm down, let’s take care of things in the ring.” Pettengill, “This tag team match is next, followed by the Steiner Brothers defending the tag titles against the ‘Bad Breed’.” Match #5

The important thing is Gary Albright is here and I know you are about to announce that Scorpio is going to give up the American Heavyweight Title because he can’t defend it in the 30 day period.” Pettengill, “Actually I’m not. I am here to tell you that Gary Albright will get a shot at that title.” Race, “What are you talking about? There is no way that fool can wrestle. Albright ended his career.” Pettengill, “Apparently not. ‘ACW Live!’ returns to Battelle Hall in Columbus, OH next week and the main event will be Gary Albright challenging 2 Cold Scorpio for the American Heavyweight Title.” Race, “Well, well, well, maybe Scorpio’s not a coward, or maybe he’s just stupid, or both. It doesn’t matter. Gary Albright will be the American Heavyweight Champion, next week!” Pettengill, “Scorpio vs. Albright, next week! Don’t miss it! When we return the Quebecers vs. the Eliminators for the ‘Pacific Tag Team Classic’ championship.” Match #7
“Pacific Tag Team Classic” Finals
The Eliminators vs. The Quebecers w/Inspector WhipplemanThe young Eliminators take the fight to the Quebecers. It looks like Whippleman’s men may be overconfident. They leave the ring to confer with the Inspector. They return and the pace of the match picks up. The Eliminators hold their own, but Jacques catches Kronus in the Quebec crab and it’s all over. 12/20/94Craig Johnson opens the show. Johnson, “Welcome to Battelle Hall, the birthplace of ACW! It’s five days before Christmas and it’s time to find out who gets presents, and who gets coal this year. We just finished a successful tour of the west coast topped off by two weeks in Hawaii. Inspector Whippleman and the Quebecers had a great time in the islands and he promises a big surprise tonight. With that said, what most people are talking about is the return of 2 Cold Scorpio. The American Heavyweight Champion will defend the title against Gary Albright in our main event. We will talk to Scorpio before that bout. Now let’s go to the ring. Inspector Whippleman has taken the mike from Todd Pettengill and he has something to say.” Whippleman, “I told all you stupid, lazy Americans I would take my men to the top of ACW. My Quebecers won the ‘Pacific Tag Team Classic’, just as I predicted. My new man will also go right to the top; here he is…Masahiro Chono!” Chono comes to the ring.  Match #1

I got the pin on him, but it wasn’t easy. I came here to wrestle the best and he’s one of them. It will be a challenge, and it won’t be a wrestling match, it’ll be a fight, but I’ll give all I have and may the best man win.” Pettengill, “Johnny’s right about one thing, it won’t be a wrestling match, but it will be exciting. Let’s go to prerecorded comments by the Sandman.” The Sandman is standing beside the ring drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette.  Sandman, “Johnny Ace, you pinned me in Hawaii. I don’t know how it happened, but it did. I came back here and go on my training regimen of beer and cigarettes and now I’m ready for you. This time you’re going to pay, you can count on that.” Match #3
The Sandman vs. Johnny AceThis is a wild brawl. Ace tries to wrestle, but gives up and fights fire with fire. Both men slug it out. The Sandman takes Ace down and covers him. He uses the ropes for leverage and referee Jim Molineaux counts the fall. Ace argues, but to no avail. Winner-The SandmanMatch #4
Alundra Blayze def. Tina Ferrari, w/German suplex bridgePettengill is with Shane Douglas and Kimberly. Kimberly is wearing a “Santa’s helper” costume. Pettengill, “Kimberly you look beautiful. That will put everyone in the Christmas spirit.” Douglas, “Pettengill you’re pathetic. We all know Kimberly is beautiful, everyone can see that. You have about as much chance with her as Whipwreck does of beating me.” Pettengill, “Well Mikey has been a thorn in your side, and Francine seems even more anxious to have him beat you.” Douglas, “She’s just jealous I chose Kimberly over her, but Francine, I have Kimberly on my arm, but I have two arms, there’s still room for you.” Pettengill, “Very interesting. Let’s see the ‘Franchise’ in action against Vic Steamboat.” Match #5 Shane Douglas w/Kimberly vs. Vic Steamboat Steamboat gives a very good account of himself, but Douglas takes over and wins with the Pittsburgh plunge. Akira Hokuto (WWWA Champion) def. Chaparrita ASARI, w/Northern Lights bombAlundra Blayze comes to ringside. She talks to Tommy Watanabe, who has been commentating with Craig Johnson. Watanabe enters the ring and takes the mike from Pettengill. Watanabe, “Akira, Alundra Blayze wants me to ask you something.” He says something to Hokuta. Hokuto responds.  Watanabe, “Alundra Blayze has challenged the Champion to a match, next week, in Pittsburgh. Akira Hokuto’s answer is …yes!” The crowd explodes. Craig Johnson is in the interview area. Johnson, ‘In just a few minutes 2 Cold Scorpio will defend the American Heavyweight Title again Gary Albright. No one has seen Scorpio, or Tony Atlas, since they were attacked in separate incidents earlier in the month. Let’s bring out…2 Cold Scorpio!” Scorpio comes out with Tony Atlas who is wearing a neck brace. The crowd goes crazy. Johnson, “Welcome back 2 Cold and what a surprise, Tony ‘Mr. USA’ Atlas!” Scorpio, “Thank you Craig, it’s great to be back. Race I know this is a surprise, you thought we were both done! Tony and I are back, better than ever!” Atlas, “Harley Race, you yellow dog, you can’t keep us down! We coming for you and that big elephant Gary Albright!” Johnson, “Well that’s what we want to talk about. 2 Cold you meet Albright tonight. Are you 100%?” Scorpio, “Race, Albright, you gonna find out what 100% all about! I’m here for revenge! You hear that revenge!” Johnson, “This is going to be a great one, Scorpio vs. Albright when we return.” Match #7
American Heavyweight Championship
2 Cold Scorpio (Champion) w/ Tony Atlas vs. Gary Albright w/Harley Race and 911The match is very hard hitting. Scorpio seems to show no signs of his injury and he match Albright blow for blow. Albright’s size seems to take over and he appears ready to take the title. He sets Scorpio for a suplex, but 2 Cold blocks it and catches Albright in an inside cradle. Referee Jack Doane counts 1…2…3! 2 Cold Scorpio has retained the title. Race, Albright and 911 are livid. They go after Scorpio, but he and Altas grab the title belt and head up the ramp. Winner-2 Cold Scorpio Johnson and Pettengill are seated at the announce desk. Johnson, “Todd what a match! Scorpio and Atlas gained some revenge, but you know Race will not take this lying down.” Pettengill, “No he won’t, but it’s great to see Scorpio back in action.” Johnson, “Tonight was exciting, and next week looks great as well. Todd tell fans what they will see.” Pettengill, “We have three big matches scheduled, all could be main events in any arena. First of all, in a match made earlier, Akria Hokuto defends the ‘Red Belt’ against Alundra Blayze, secondly Wolf Hawkfield defends the American TV Title against Axl Rotten of the ‘Bad Breed’, and finally in a tag team rematch from Hawaii, Shane Douglas and the Sandman, with the lovely Kimberly, meet Mikey Whipwreck and Johnny Ace, with the beautiful Francine. That’s the recipe for excitement right there.” Johnson, “Next week will be exciting and we can add one more thing to the show, Johnny Smith, an international superstar from England, will make his ACW debut as he takes on another of Her Majesty’s loyal subjects, Ian Rotten, the other half of the ‘Bad Breed”. Plus we have one more big announcement. We all know that ‘New Year’s Eve’ is one of the biggest nights of the year. Well make your plans to spend it with us. ACW will present a special edition of ‘ACW Live!’ on Saturday night, December 31. The one hour program will take us up to midnight and 1995. Stay tuned for more information. 12/27/94 Craig Johnson opens the show. Johnson, “Welcome to the ‘Steel City’. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and is gearing up for a wonderful new year. This is the last ACW show of 1994, and 1995 looks to be an even better year for us. We have several new stars on our roster and the ones who were here before are still pretty good. Tonight’s show is action packed. Akira Hokuto defends the ‘Red Belt’ against Alundra Blayze, Wolf Hawkfield defends he American TV Championship against Ian Rotten, Mikey Whipwreck and Johnny Ace meet Shane Douglas and the Sandman and a newcomer will debut. He is with Todd Pettengill right now.” Pettengill is with Johnny Smith. Pettengill, “With me is the ‘British Bruiser’, Johnny Smith. Johnny is a well known wrestler all over the world. He has competed in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan and the U.S. Johnny welcome to ACW.” Smith, “Thank you Todd. I have wrestled all over the world and I came to ACW for the competition. The best in the business are here. I have an open contract and I’ll wrestle anyone who wants to get in the ring with me. I hope to work my way into place for a title shot. It won’t be easy, but I am confident.” Pettengill, “When we return, this native of Manchester will be in the ring.” Match #1

Tonight Akira Hokuto defends the ‘Red Belt’, the WWWA World Title, against, American Contender, Alundra Blayze. Tommy it will be a great match.” Watanabe, “Yes it will. Blayze has shown she can match Hokuto move for move. I got a call from a friend of mine in Sapporo and he said this match is the talk of Japan right now. Many people think Alundra Blayze will win tonight.” Johnson, “Tommy I always put you on the spot, who wins tonight? Watanabe, “This is a close call, but I think the Champion will have just enough to survive.” Johnson, “When we return, we’ll find out if Tommy is correct.” Match #3
WWWA World Chamionship
Akira Hokuto (Champion) vs. Alundra BlayzeBlayze waits in the ring. “Ora de Ley” hits and Hokuto appears on the ramp. She wears her mask and carries her sword. Suddenly Inspector Whippleman appears at her side, followed by Kensuke Sasaki. Whippleman carries a mike.    Whippleman, “Ladies and gentlemen, the two newest members of my organization, wrestling’s top ‘power couple’, Akira Hokuto and Kensuke Sasaki!” Watanabe, “Craig, Sasaki is Hokuto’s husband and one of the top names in Japan! If they are aligned with Whippleman, the face of wrestling has just changed!” The match begins with Blayze very wary of Whippleman and Sasaki. Both women wrestle and outstanding match. They both have their chances. Whippleman is able to distract Blayze and Hokuto hits the Northern Lights bomb for the win. She celebrates with Sasaki and Whippleman. Winner-Akira Hokuto

Tonight you meet them, again, in tag team action.” Sandman, “Look Pettengill, Shane and I have beaten those two to within an inch of their lives and we’ve had enough. Tonight it ends, Whipwreck, Ace, prepare for the beating of your life!” Douglas, “What my alcoholic friend is saying is that we both have bigger fish to fry. Whipwreck has taken much too much of the ‘Franchise’s’ time. I should have gold around my waist. Imagine the ‘Franchise’ with the title belt around his waist and the lovely Kimberly on my arm, it would be perfection! Whipwreck you’re keeping me from that, and I’ve had enough! One more thing, take a good look at Francine and then look at Kimberly, who has the better part of that deal? We all know the answer to that!” Pettengill, “Let’s go to the ring for our main event. Shane Douglas and the Sandman w/Kimberly vs. Mikey Whipwreck and Johnny Ace w/FrancineThe match is a wild brawl. Both teams throw wrestling out the window, and it’s a slugfest from the opening bell. Referee Teddy Long can’t control things and calls for the bell. He disqualifies both teams. Result-Double DisqualificationJohnson and Pettengill are seated at the announce table. Johnson, “Wow! What a match! This feud seems to have no end, and another chapter is in the near future. Let’s talk about ‘New Year’s Eve’. Spend the night with ACW and see some great wrestling action. We have three big matches scheduled for our show. We begin with a 20 man, over the top rope, battle royal with a check for $1,000 to the winner. I stated that the next chapter of the Douglas-Whipwreck feud is on the horizon, and it is. Those two will meet on New Year’s Eve, and finally, for the American Heavyweight Title, 2 Cold Scorpio defends against Gary Albright. Kensuke Sasaki w/Inspector Whippleman and Akira Hokuto vs. J.T. SmithInspector Whippleman and his “Power Couple” come to the ring. This is a very dangerous combination. Sasaki is a powerhouse and “The Pride of Philadelphia”, J.T. Smith, feels the brunt of it. Sasakai tosses him around like a ragdoll. Smith does all he can, but Sasaki wins with the Northern Lights bomb. He is one dangerous individual. Winner-Kensuke Sasaki

Johnny Ace vs. The SandmanThis feud has become violent very quickly. Ace would rather wrestle, but the Sandman has no interest in that. The match is a slugfest from the opening bell. The early moments belong to Ace. He overpowers the Sandman and the beer drinking, cigarette smoking, tough guy is in trouble. The Sandman lands a kick that is quite low and that begins to turn the tide. He lands the Russian legsweep, but Ace kicks out at two. The violence picks up even more, until Ace hits the Ace crusher out of nowhere for the win. These two have provided the fans with a lot of action. Winner-Johnny Ace

American Tag Team Championship
The Steiner Brothers (Champions) vs. The Quebecers w/Inspector WhipplemanThis is the first meeting between these two teams in ACW. The Steiners won the titles at the end of 1994, they may lose them in the first week of 1995. The match begins with Rick Steiner and Pierre squaring off. They match power for power and Steiner grabs a slight edge. The Champions take over and control the first few minutes, but the tough team from Canada rally. Inspector Whippleman shouts instructions from ringside. The match is fast paced with both teams tag in and out. Finally all four men are in the ring. Referee Jim Molineaux has no choice but to disqualify both teams. Result-Double Disqualification

Shane Douglas w/Kimberly vs. Mikey Whipwreck w/FrancineMikey takes the fight to the “Franchise”. Douglas doesn’t know what hit him. He rolls out of the ring and his consoled by Kimberly. He returns to the ring, slows the pace and begins to gain an advantage. The next few minutes belong to the “Franchise”. He works over Mikey and the pride of Buffalo, NY is in trouble. He fights back, but Douglas it too much and he wins with the Pittsburgh plunge. Whipwreck struggles to his feet and Francine is there to console him. No! Francine slaps Mikey! Whipwreck is stunned! Francine moves over to the “Franchise” and kisses him! Douglas laughs manically. Francine grabs the mike from Todd Pettengill.Francine, “Mikey, I’ve had enough, you are a loser! I’m going to the top with the “Franchise”!” Mikey falls to his knees. Douglas stands with Francine on one arm and Kimberly on the other! Winner-Shane DouglasPettengill is with Harley Race and Gary Albright. Pettengill, “Wow! What a bombshell! It looks like 1995 is going to start of poorly for Mikey Whipwreck. With me are two men who hope the New Year begins successfully for them. Gary Albright challenges 2 Cold Scorpio for the American Heavyweight Title. Mr. Race this could be your night.” Race, “Will be our night, Pettengill, will be! Gary Albright has systematically taken Scorpio apart and softened him up, getting ready for tonight. We will have the title by midnight!” Pettengill, “Let’s got Craig Johnson with Scorpio and Tony Atlas.” Johnson is with Scorpio and Atlas. Johnson, “2 Cold, you have had many tough matches with Gary Albright. Harley Race thinks they’ve softened you up for the kill. What do you think?” Scorpio, “I’m ready. Albright took me out, but I came back. I beat him a couple of weeks ago, but people said it was a fluke. This is for all the marbles, Albright, I’m ready!” Atlas, “Harley Race, you got a big mouth. I’m all healed up, if you wanna’ try something, I’m ready!” Pettengill, “When we return, our main event.” Match #3
American Heavyweight Championship
2 Cold Scorpio (Champion) w/Tony Atlas vs. Gary Albright w/Harley RaceScorpio wants this to be an up tempo match, and Albright wants the opposite. The early moments belong to Albright. He traps Scorpio in the corner and pounds away. The former NCAA Champion suplexes Scorpio to the mat and gets a two count. Race is supremely confident. It looks like Albright will take the title. He works over Scorpio and the Champion is in trouble. 2 Cold has the will of a Champion and rallies. He whips Albright into the ropes and backdrops the massive man from Montana. Scorpio climbs the corner and lands the 450 splash. Referee Teddy Long count the fall. 2 Cold Scorpio retains the title! Pettengill joins Scorpio and Atlas in the ring. Winner-2 Cold ScorpioPettengill, “We are less than one minute from midnight. 2 Cold and Tony are going to help me count it down. 10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Happy New Year!” Confetti and balloons come down from the ceiling of the arena. The crowd goes crazy until “Perfect Strangers” hits. Shane Douglas walks out on the ramp. With him are Kimberly and Francine. He kisses both of them. Douglas, “What a night! New Year’s kisses from two beautiful ladies…world eat your heart out, the ‘Franchise’ is the talk of the town! Now Scorpio, 1995 is going to be ‘The Year of the Franchise’, and you can help make that happen. Give me a shot for that title and let me take it and make these two beautiful women the happiest people in the world!” Scorpio takes the mike from Pettengill. Scorpio, “Any time, any place. Put your name on the contract and let’s get it on!” Douglas, “Just what I wanted to hear!” The show ends with Douglas laughing manically. |
