Tony Schiavone: Maybe so David. Also here today the Television Champion Tully Blanchard and Wahoo McDaniels will join us, The Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant will be here, so will the man that placed the bounty on Jones’ head, Paul Jones! Ricky Steamboat will be here, a man who is on a quest to become the World Junior Heavyweight Champion Denny Brown will be in action, and we’ll talk once again to the World Champion “Nature Boy” Ric Flair!
David Crockett: And the young man who defeated Tully Blanchard in that non title match last week, Sam Houston will be here!!!
Tony Schiavone: Let’s go to the ring!
Schiavone puts Ash over as a succesfull wrestler all over the Deep South and says he has held many titles and is a very feared brawler, Ash has come here to collect the bounty on Valiant. Ash motions and yells at the announcers that he is going to take the money!! Valiant and Ash brawl all over the ring, during the match Paul Jones and his Army, Lord Jonathan Boyd and Bigfoot Rip Morgan, join the commentary team, Jones has his briefcase full of money. The fight spills out of the ring and to the floor where Ash tries to piledrive Valiant, David is screaming that could kill Valiant, but Valiant backdrops Ash instead. Back in the ring Valiant puts Ash away with a Boogie Elbow.

Tony Schiavone: I’m joined by NWA World Tag Team Champions Ivan Koloff and Don Kernodle along with Nikita Koloff and gentlemen, later on this program you will put the titles on the line against The Renegades.
Don Kerndole: That’s the kinda Champions we are, we’ll defend these titles on television! Ain’t no body can say we are cowards!
Ivan Koloff: These Renegades, they get title shot after title shot against Comrade Kerndole and myself, the NWA keeps giving these men chances at our titles and now they say they want to give them title shot here on National Television. Well that is ok with Comrade Kerndole and myself because it gives us opportunity to show the entire American country that these Renegades do not have what it take to be World Tag Team Champions. And Ric Flair, nephew Nikita is ready for you, you keep ducking him, the Championship Committee keeps ignoring our petitions for title matches, but soon they will not be able to ignore nephew Nikita and then he will take World Heavyweight Title!!!

David Crockett: I’m here with the Television Champion Tully Blanchard, and last week Tully, you were upset by the young man in the ring right now, Sam Houston.
Tully Blanchard: Upset? Maybe so, but that young punk, he just got lucky. One day he may be a great champion, but that day is far down the road. Last week I was distracted by Ric Flair, if that punk had the guts to get back in the ring with me, I would tear him apart and he knows it!!! As a matter of fact, I think I am going to stay here and watch this little match.
Houston and Flemming do some mat wrestling to start, Tully gives Houston some credit. Houston and Flemming go back and forth, Houston picks up the victory with a Bulldog Headlock.

Tony Schiavone: With me now are Ricky Steamboat and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair, and gentlemen, it looks like you just saved the career of young Sam Houston.
Ricky Steamboat: You know Tony Schiavone, I may have allot of respect for the in ring talents of Mr. Blanchard and Mr. McDaniels, but what I do not have any respect for is their activities outside of the ring, their activities after the bell rings when they try and injure, or maim their opponents instead of just beating them in the middle of the ring. You two are just a couple of bullies, and the best way to handle a bully is to stand up to them, and that’s exactly what the Champ and I will be doing from now on!!!
Ric Flair: THAT’S RIGHT!!! Tully Blanchard!!! Wahoo McDaniels!!! THE GRUESOME TWOESOME!!! I’M TALKING TO YOU!!! You two have been walking around here for months doing whatever you want, WELL THAT ENDS RIGHT NOW!!! You two started this, but we’re going to finish it jack!!! Ricky Steamboat: I want to add one more thing, in a few weeks in the Omni I will be taking part in the United States Title Tournament, and my first round opponent is none other than Mr. McDaniels, and I am very proud to say that after talking with Mr. Flair, if Mr. Blanchard decides to try and stick his nose in, to try and get involved like he did when Wahoo took the title from me, Mr. Flair has assured me that he will be watching my back, and will make sure Mr. Blanchard is unable to effect the outcome of the match.

Bart beats on Larsen while Dusek yells instructions from the outside. David and Tony discuss the broken hand of Ronnie Garvin and say he’ll be returning here soon, but he could not be cleared to take part in the United States Title Tournament, something that Garvin is very upset about. They say that Johnny Weaver, being an old friend of Garvin's has been trying to find men to team up with him to get a measure of revenge on the Desperadoes, Larsen puts up quite a fight, but he is no match for his opponents, Johnny Weaver tags into the match and sends the Desperadoes flying many times, but they keep breaking up pin attempts, finally Weaver gets pinned after a big leg drop from Black Bart.
A music video set to ZZ Top’s Sharp Dressed Man plays showing Jimmy Garvin and Precious, it shows Garvin performing his brainbuster and winning matches and titles all over the wrestling map, interwoven with scenes of Garvin and Precious getting ready to go out on a night on the town. When the music ends the camera gets a close up of Garvin
Jimmy Garvin: You know ladies and gentlemen, I have traveled all over the globe, I went to Florida and beat up the Funks and the Briscos, I went to Canada and showed those Rougeau boys what a real man was all about, I even went down to Texas and knocked those Von Erich’s around a bit!!! No matter where Squeeze and I go, no one can stop me!! And now pally, I’m coming to World Championship Wrestling on TBS!! And all you people are going to see what Gorgeous J can do first hand!!! Tully hollers that Houston is going to pay, and he’ll pay next week because Tully just signed a contract for a one on one match with Houston here next week on this program and THE TELEVISION TITLE WILL BE ON THE LINE!!! In the ring Wahoo throws the Valentino into the ropes and brings him crashing to the mat with a big chop!!!!

Wahoo McDaniels: I am not going to come out here and say a whole lot, I let my talking be done in the ring, but I feel like I need to address what I heard about here a few minutes ago by those two want to bes, Ricky Steamboat and Ric Flair. They want to call us bullies? Well that’s alright, they can call us that, it wouldn’t be the first time someone called me a bully. And now they say they want to fight Tully and I, that they’ll be there to fight us all over this country, well that’s fine too because Tully and I have never back down from a fight and we aren’t about to start now. What I am not alright with is the insinuation by Mr. Steamboat that I somehow will need Mr. Blanchard’s help to defeat Mr. Steamboat on October 25th in the Omni, that is far from the case and Mr. Steamboat knows it. So I am going to go on record here, and ask Mr. Blanchard, I know we come to the ring together sometimes, but on October 25th I would like you to stay in the back with the girls, keep the champagne on ice, because I don’t want Steamboat to have excuses when I defeat him, and I don’t want anyone else to have any excuses when I walk away with the United States title, MY United States title that was unjustly taken from me.
Tully Blanchard: Wahoo, you know, as your friend I like to go out to the ring with you to make sure the people in the stands don’t try anything, try to jump you from behind or things like that because you know how low class most of the fans are, just like you would do for me. But if that’s how you want it, I’ll be in the back with Farrah and Bo and we’ll keep the champagne iced down, we’ll be ready for that victory party on the 25th. Now as I was saying earlier, next week, Sam Houston, when I get through with you punk you are going to wish your mother never met your father. David Crockett: HERE THEY COME TONY!!! HERE THEY COME!! JAY YOUNGBLOOD!!! MARK YOUNGBLOOD!!! TONY…….TONY!!! TONY!!!!!!!!!! IT’S THE RENEGADES!!!

The Renegades are wearing black and red war paint, Crockett can barely contain himself he is so excited. Mark and Jay start out fast, trapping Don Kernodle in the ring and working the self proclaimed “Pride of the Carolinas” over, they keep working on his arm, making quick tags in and out of the ring. They hit him with a double chop off the ropes, but Ivan breaks up the cover. Ivan catches Mark in the small of the back with a knee as Mark runs the ropes, allowing Don to make the tag to Ivan. Ivan comes in the ring and starts to abuse Mark, he slams him to the mat and locks on a rear chinlock. Mark is trapped in the hold as we take our final commercial break!

Back from the break and Ivan is still working the rear chinlock. The crowd is cheering for Mark trying to get him to fight back, Mark slowly starts to rise to his feet. Mark begins to fight out of the hold with elbows to the gut, he breaks the hold!!! Mark runs the ropes, he ducks a clothesline, he ducks a back elbow, Mark leapfrogs a backdrop attempt!! DROPKICK CATCHES IVAN FLUSH IN THE MUSH!!!! Mark looks to make the tag but Don Kernodle comes off the top rope with a flying ax handle!!! Mark catches Kerndole in the gut!!!!! Mark once again turns to make the tag but Ivan is back to his feet and clobbers him from behind!!!! Jay is ticked and jumps into the ring!! Referee Tommy Young has lost total control of this one!!! Kerndole and Jay are trading punches, Young is trying to get them out of the ring when IVAN THROWS MARK OUT OF THE RING AND OVER THE TOP ROPE!!! THAT’S AN AUTOMATIC DQ!!!!
On the floor Nikita Koloff has grabbed the Russian Chain!!! He is wrapping it around his arm, he is measuring Mark, if he hits him with a Russian Sickle with the chain wrapped around his arm he’ll crush Mark’s head like a melon!!!

Mark climbs back into the ring to a waiting Ivan Koloff, Ivan tries to suplex Mark back into the ring, but Mark blocks it!! Mark knees Ivan in the gut and hits a slingshot sunset flip!!! Ivan kicks out at three!!! Ivan rakes Mark’s eyes!!! He tries to send Mark into the ropes but Mark reverses!!! Mark catches Ivan with a full tilt powerslam!!! Mark then dives for his corner and makes the tag to Jay!!!
JAY IS A HOUSE OF FIRE!!!!
Jay chops Ivan down!!! Kerndole runs into the ring he gets chopped down!!! Jay slams Kernodle and Koloff’s heads together!!!! Kernodle stumbles backward and falls out of the ring through the ropes!!! Jay breaks out into a war dance and drops Ivan with a huge chop!!!! Jay heads to the top rope!!! He comes down with a big chop that knocks Ivan silly!!! Jay makes the cover!!!!

Schiavone puts Ash over as a succesfull wrestler all over the Deep South and says he has held many titles and is a very feared brawler, Ash has come here to collect the bounty on Valiant. Ash motions and yells at the announcers that he is going to take the money!! Valiant and Ash brawl all over the ring, during the match Paul Jones and his Army, Lord Jonathan Boyd and Bigfoot Rip Morgan, join the commentary team, Jones has his briefcase full of money. The fight spills out of the ring and to the floor where Ash tries to piledrive Valiant, David is screaming that could kill Valiant, but Valiant backdrops Ash instead. Back in the ring Valiant puts Ash away with a Boogie Elbow.

Ivan Koloff: These Renegades, they get title shot after title shot against Comrade Kerndole and myself, the NWA keeps giving these men chances at our titles and now they say they want to give them title shot here on National Television. Ricky Steamboat: You know Tony Schiavone, I may have allot of respect for the in ring talents of Mr. Blanchard and Mr. McDaniels, but what I do not have any respect for is their activities outside of the ring, their activities after the bell rings when they try and injure, or maim their opponents instead of just beating them in the middle of the ring. Bart beats on Larsen while Dusek yells instructions from the outside. David and Tony discuss the broken hand of Ronnie Garvin and say he’ll be returning here soon, but he could not be cleared to take part in the United States Title Tournament, something that Garvin is very upset about. They say that Johnny Weaver, being an old friend of Garvin's has been trying to find men to team up with him to get a measure of revenge on the Desperadoes, Larsen puts up quite a fight, but he is no match for his opponents, Johnny Weaver tags into the match and sends the Desperadoes flying many times, but they keep breaking up pin attempts, finally Weaver gets pinned after a big leg drop from Black Bart.
A music video set to ZZ Top’s Sharp Dressed Man plays showing Jimmy Garvin and Precious, it shows Garvin performing his brainbuster and winning matches and titles all over the wrestling map, interwoven with scenes of Garvin and Precious getting ready to go out on a night on the town. Tully hollers that Houston is going to pay, and he’ll pay next week because Tully just signed a contract for a one on one match with Houston here next week on this program and THE TELEVISION TITLE WILL BE ON THE LINE!!! In the ring Wahoo throws the Valentino into the ropes and brings him crashing to the mat with a big chop!!!!

Wahoo McDaniels: I am not going to come out here and say a whole lot, I let my talking be done in the ring, but I feel like I need to address what I heard about here a few minutes ago by those two want to bes, Ricky Steamboat and Ric Flair. They want to call us bullies? Well that’s alright, they can call us that, it wouldn’t be the first time someone called me a bully. And now they say they want to fight Tully and I, that they’ll be there to fight us all over this country, well that’s fine too because Tully and I have never back down from a fight and we aren’t about to start now. What I am not alright with is the insinuation by Mr. Steamboat that I somehow will need Mr. Blanchard’s help to defeat Mr. Steamboat on October 25th in the Omni, that is far from the case and Mr. Steamboat knows it. So I am going to go on record here, and ask Mr. Blanchard, I know we come to the ring together sometimes, but on October 25th I would like you to stay in the back with the girls, keep the champagne on ice, because I don’t want Steamboat to have excuses when I defeat him, and I don’t want anyone else to have any excuses when I walk away with the United States title, MY United States title that was unjustly taken from me.
Tully Blanchard: Wahoo, you know, as your friend I like to go out to the ring with you to make sure the people in the stands don’t try anything, try to jump you from behind or things like that because you know how low class most of the fans are, just like you would do for me. But if that’s how you want it, I’ll be in the back with Farrah and Bo and we’ll keep the champagne iced down, we’ll be ready for that victory party on the 25th. The Renegades are wearing black and red war paint, Crockett can barely contain himself he is so excited. Mark and Jay start out fast, trapping Don Kernodle in the ring and working the self proclaimed “Pride of the Carolinas” over, they keep working on his arm, making quick tags in and out of the ring. They hit him with a double chop off the ropes, but Ivan breaks up the cover. Ivan catches Mark in the small of the back with a knee as Mark runs the ropes, allowing Don to make the tag to Ivan. Ivan comes in the ring and starts to abuse Mark, he slams him to the mat and locks on a rear chinlock. Mark is trapped in the hold as we take our final commercial break!

Back from the break and Ivan is still working the rear chinlock. The crowd is cheering for Mark trying to get him to fight back, Mark slowly starts to rise to his feet. Mark begins to fight out of the hold with elbows to the gut, he breaks the hold!!! Mark runs the ropes, he ducks a clothesline, he ducks a back elbow, Mark leapfrogs a backdrop attempt!! DROPKICK CATCHES IVAN FLUSH IN THE MUSH!!!! Mark looks to make the tag but Don Kernodle comes off the top rope with a flying ax handle!!! Mark catches Kerndole in the gut!!!!! Mark once again turns to make the tag but Ivan is back to his feet and clobbers him from behind!!!! Jay is ticked and jumps into the ring!! Referee Tommy Young has lost total control of this one!!! Kerndole and Jay are trading punches, Young is trying to get them out of the ring when IVAN THROWS MARK OUT OF THE RING AND OVER THE TOP ROPE!!! THAT’S AN AUTOMATIC DQ!!!!
On the floor Nikita Koloff has grabbed the Russian Chain!!! He is wrapping it around his arm, he is measuring Mark, if he hits him with a Russian Sickle with the chain wrapped around his arm he’ll crush Mark’s head like a melon!!!

Ivan kicks out at three!!! Ivan rakes Mark’s eyes!!! He tries to send Mark into the ropes but Mark reverses!!! Mark catches Ivan with a full tilt powerslam!!! Mark then dives for his corner and makes the tag to Jay!!!
JAY IS A HOUSE OF FIRE!!!!
Jay chops Ivan down!!! Kerndole runs into the ring he gets chopped down!!! Jay slams Kernodle and Koloff’s heads together!!!! Kernodle stumbles backward and falls out of the ring through the ropes!!! Jay breaks out into a war dance and drops Ivan with a huge chop!!!! Jay heads to the top rope!!! He comes down with a big chop that knocks Ivan silly!!! Jay makes the cover!!!!
