WATTS: As you know, Magnificent Muraco and Rick Martel won the World Tag Team Championship at Battle Bowl. Of course, as form er Champions, the Fantastics are considered as #1 contenders. You also know about Tommy Rogers’ injury that will keep the Fantastics out of contention for 4-6 weeks. Since the Fantastics are out of contention, the UWA has decided to hold a four team tourney to name a #1 contender for the World Tag Team Title! The four teams involved are:
1. The Destrcuction Crew, managed by Blackjack Mulligan.
2. Jumbo Tsuruta and Kenta Kobashi
3. Representing Wrestle Kingdom, Genichiro Tenryu & Masahiro Chono
4. Dustin Rhodes has obtained a tournament slot with a partner to be named later!
I see Dustin standing by, maybe you can find out who he intends to tem up with…
BONI: Dustin is scheduled next. Dustin, I’m sure all of our viewers are curious about your partner…

At Texas Stadium, the Texas Broncos rode again! Now, for reasons I don’t understand, that overbearing Daddy of yours can’t stand the idea of the Texas Broncos! That’s ok, Kendall! You’re a big boy! The cameras cut to the backstage area. The Destruction Crew and Blackjack Mulligan are looking at a monitor. Mulligan takes of his Stetson and slams it on the floor> Then, he picks it up, dusts it of, and leads his tag team away.

DESTRUCTION CREW (W/BLACKJACK MULLIGAN) VS. BRAZO DE ORO & BRAZO DE PLATA: Early on, the luchadors frustrate the Crew with their quick tags and comedy spots. Mean Mike and Wayne the Train are just too powerful tonight and eventually, they take control. With Mulligan slapping the mat and yelling instructions, the Crew eventually hit the Wrecking Ball on Plata and score the pin. Magnum says we could be looking at our next World Champions!
VTR: We see Sgt. Slaughter, Scott Hall, and Steve Keirn stand in front of an American flag.
HALL: I don’t know about everybody else, but Steve Keirn and myself are sick and tired of the House of Humperdink!
KEIRN: That’s right, Scott!That’s why we called in the heavy artillery!
SLAUGHTER: HUMPERDINK! KOLOFF! SHEIK! SINGH! This is war! Look at these recruits! Not a goldbrick or a gomer in the bunch! Two prize cuts of All American grade A beef! We’re coming to clean house and show that the USA is #1 and the House of Humperdink is nothing but maggots! At ease, men!

SGT. SLAUGHTER, SCOTT HALL, STEVE KEIRN VS. IRON SHEIK, IVAN KOLOFF, & MUKHAN SINGH(W/SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK): This is an all out brawl! Eventually, it looks like the faces will win as Sarge has Singh locked in the cobra clutch! Koloff and Sheik come in to help and get cut off by Hall and Keirn! Humperdink is waving somebody in! Here comes Kokina! Kokina hits the ring! The Great Kokina proceeds to destroy the faces! In an awe inspiring display, the massive Kokina lays out Slaughter, Hall, and Keirn! The House of Humperdink are losers via DQ, but they live looking victorious and you can hear a pin drop in the Sportatorium!

After 10 minutres of non-stop action, Tito hits Perez with the flying forearm and score the pin! Baby Doll tries to interfere, but Valiant stops her with a big ol’ smooch! Badness Unlimited are irate! What a wild scene in the Sportatorium!
BONI: Wow! What a match! I’m here with the UWA TV Champion “The Ace” Bob Orton, a man who will defend the title against Ron Garvin in our next match!
ORTON: Boni, the Organization has all of the belts except the World Title! On July 4th, the good Doctor is going to rectify that situation! There’s no way that I’m going to drop my TV Title to Garvin! Ronnie, we’re no strangers, pal! We’ve fought from Tennessee to Tulsa to Tokyo and you have never beat me once! Tonight won’t be the first time!

Afterwards, Williams drifts down to ringside and there’s a staredown between World Champion and American Champion!
