[VTR: Ted DiBiase pre-taped Interview]
“Finally, tonight I’m getting my shot at the so called greatest champion of all time Hulk Hogan. Well, Mr. Hogan if you are so great, why has it taken you 3 months to finally signed the contract and step in the ring against me? It’s simple, it’s because he’s scared. He knows that he cannot beat me. He knows that I can wrestle circles around him, and tonight I’m going to prove it. Tonight, Philadelphia you will be treated to a new World Champion and that Champion is none other than me. Ted DiBiase”

[VTR: Hulk Hogan pre-taped Interview]
”Well you know Hulkamaniac, tonight I’m going in that ring to take on a man that believes that he’s the greatest wrestler in the world, well let me tell you something brother. When you step in the ring against me, you are not stepping in the ring against the Hulkster, but you are stepping in the ring against the Million of Hulkamaniacs World Wide. I’ve taken, my vitamins, said my prayers and I know that all my Hulkamaniacs have done the same. What are you going to do DiBiase, when Hulkamania runs wild on you”

This match was quite entertaining from the get go, with Hogan dominating the early part of the match forcing DiBiase to retreat to the outside to the ring to discuss strategy with his manager JJ Dillon. The Hulkster made a big mistake when he got distracted by Dillon, which resulted in DiBiase getting control of the match and picking up several near falls.
DiBiase continued his assault and connected with a picture Perfect Power Slam, but only got a 2 count, with Hogan kicking out. Hulk begins to Hulk’up and DiBiase is throwing everything he can towards Hogan, but Hogan fights back connects with the Big Boot, followed by the Leg Drop and covers, but DiBiase was close to the ropes and Dillon managed to grab DiBiase’s leg and drap it on the bottom rope, cause the break.
Hogan saw what happened and begins jawing with Dillon on the outside, has the referee tries to make sure that Hogan doesn’t go after Dillon. During that time, DiBiase pulls out a black glove from his trunks and puts it on his hand and when Hogan turns around he connects with a wicked punch to the Jaw of Hogan, knocking the champion to the floor.
The Referee begins the count, however Hogan is unable to answer the 10 count. DiBiase has defeated Hulk Hogan by Count Out.
DiBiase begins to celebrate with Dillon in the ring taking the title, but the title does not change hands on a Count Out. DiBiase is in an heated argument with the referee and he doesn’t see Hogan coming clocking DiBiase from behind sending the challenger to the floor, with Dillon barely managing to escape the grasp of the champion.
DiBiase backs up the aisle and screams at Hogan that the title will soon be his.
Winner: Ted DiBiase by Count Out @ 14:23.

The Intercontinental Champion Tito Santana took on the Japanesse Assasin Mr. Pogo in what was far from a clean scientific match up. Pogo used every dirty trick in the book trying to get the title from Santana, but the champion was resilient in this match up and managed to build up the intensity enough to gain control of the match and dispose of Pogo following the Flying Forearm for the 3 count.
Winner: Still Intercontinental Champion Tito Santana by pinfall @ 19:22.
