Global Championship Wrestling” is a syndicated program with an “All American Wrestling” format. I have assumed it has been around since my reorganization. I had not written a show, so I decided to do one.
“Global Championship Wrestling”
Broadcast- In syndication
The program opens with highlights from last week’s “Monday Night Wrestling”.
The program opens with highlights of last week.
Suddenly, Callous hits his manager with a clothesline. The Genius goes down. The three men put the boots to their, now, former manager. They toss him from the ring. DDP gets up from the announce table.
Monsoon, “Hey! Where are you going!”
Page approaches the three men, and raises their hands. He grabs the mic.
DDP, “You didn’t think I came here to announce with that clown Monsoon did you? I came here to manage the ‘Diamond Exchange’ and we’re going to change the GWA!”
Mean Gene Okerlund opens the program.
Okerlund, “Fans, welcome to ‘Global Wrestling’! We have several exciting matches from around the country. You will see Larry Zbyszko in action, as well as Eric Embry. We have a main event for you, Demolition takes on the Simpson Brothers. We will also hear from Diamond Dallas Page. Let’s get things started.”
Match #1
“Flamboyant” Eric Embry vs. Joel Deaton (Joined in progress)
Embry has been chasing the Global Light Heavyweight Champion, Eric Embry. Deaton is a rugged veteran and it should be a good match. Joel starts fast and roughs up Embry. Eric fights back. We have a fast paced contest. Deaton goes to all his roughhouse tactics. Embry rallies and wins with a piledriver.
Winner- Eric Embry
We see Wahoo McDaniel in an interview area.
Wahoo, “Austin Idol, you won that North American Title, and you’re a great wrestler. I’ve been around for a long time, and you think I’m over the hill. Keep believing that. I’ve got another run left it me, and it starts with the North American Title!”
Match #2
Wahoo McDaniel vs. The Angel of Death (JIP)
This will be a hard hitting contest. AoD starts fast. He is very aggressive. Wahoo fires back, and we have a hard hitting contest. AoD traps McDaniel in the corner. Wahoo fights his way out. Now the Angel is in retreat. Who grabs him and hits a deep double underhook for the win.
Winner- Wahoo McDaniel
Match #3
Larry Zbyszko vs. “Cowboy” Scott Casey (JIP)
Zbyszko remains a top contender for any title in the GWA. Casey, from Bulverde, TX, is very popular with the fans. Zbyszko is methodical, and Casey is frustrated. This causes him to make a mistake. Larry capitalizes. He now has the edge. Casey mounts a brief comeback, but Zbyszko hits a neckbreaker for the win.
Winner- Larry Zbyszko
“Hangman” Bobby Jaggers is in an interview area.
Jaggers, “I’m the ‘Hangman’. I have wrestled all over the world, and been successful every place I wrestled. Everyone told me the GWA was the best competition in the world, and I had to go there, well I’m here, and I have an open contract. I will wrestle anybody, any time! Put your name on the dotted line, and face the ‘Hangman’!”
Match #4
“Hangman” Bobby Jaggers vs. George South (JIP)
South is a very good wrestler, so Jaggers has to be careful. George is able to hit and run to keep Bobby off balance. Jaggers is a veteran and doesn’t get frustrated. He methodically takes over and wins with the hangman.
Winner- Bobby Jaggers
Mean Gene Okerlund is with DDP, Demolition, and Mean Mark Callous.
Okerlund, “Mr. Page, you shocked the wrestling world last week. Your ‘Diamond Exchange’ is the talk of wrestling!”
DDP, “Listen Gene baby, you appreciate show biz, and DDP is show biz! The ‘Diamond Exchange’ is the hottest thing in wrestling! With me, DDP, we are headed for the top!”
Okerlund, “Well, Demolition are the number one contenders to the Freebirds and the Global Tag Team Titles…”
DDP, “Let me stop you right there. Demo are the number one contenders to the tag titles, but I have another huge announcement. Look at this.”
DDP hands a letter to Okerlund.
Okerlund, “What!? This looks official.”
DDP, “Of course it is.”
Okerlund, “This is an official GWA contract naming Mean Mark Callous as the number one contender to Hulk Hogan’s Global Tag Team Title!”
DDP, “Not only number one contender, but the next Global Champion!”

Diamond Dallas Page and the ‘Diamond Exchange’ has turned the wrestling world on its ear. DDP is the talk of wrestling. The Simpsons are very talented, but they give up a lot of size. Smash stats with Steve. Simpson uses his speed to get off to a great start. Smash is frustrated and takes to the floor to confer with Ax and DDP. Smash returns and goes to work. He hammers away on Steve. The South African is in trouble. He fights his way out of the corner, and tags in Shaun. He goes to work and has some momentum. Ax tags in, and uses his size and experience to take over. He works over Simpson, and Demolition wins with the double clothesline.
Winners- Demolition
Gene Okerlund closes the show.
Okerlund, “Another fantastic hour of wrestling! Join us next week for more action!”
