Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, “Welcome, again, to ‘World Class Championship Wrestling’. We have another exciting hour for you. You will see Bobby Jaggers, Chris Adams and the Long Riders, but the one they are talking about, Kevin Von Erich takes on Gino Hernandez with the American Heavyweight Title at stake. Gino Hernandez likes to say, ‘I am your Champion!’ That may not be true after tonight. Let’s go to the ring.”
Match #1
“Hangman” Bobby Jaggers w/”Playboy” Gary Hart vs. Jules Strongbow
Gary Hart leads the “Hangman” into action. He takes on the tough Indian Chief from Oklahoma. Jaggers starts early and has Strongbow in trouble. Hart shouts instructions and Jaggers is riding high. Strongbow gets in a few shots, but Jaggers ends things with the Hangman.
Winner-Bobby Jaggers
Marc Lowrance is with the Von Erichs.
Lowrance, “With me are the Von Erichs. Kevin. let’s go to you first. You take on Gino Hernandez tonight with a chance to take the American Heavyweight Title.”
Kevin, “Marc, I want that title. Hernandez is good, you can’t take that away from him, but he’s not someone Texas can be proud of. He and Gary Hart break all the rules, so I have to be ready for that, but I’m going to take that title. I owe it to the fans!”
Lowrance, “The next thing I’ll ask is about the Six Man Titles. It looks like the Champions, Mad Dog Lefebvre, Frenchy Martin and Sailor White, are going to be at the State Fair Coliseum on the 26th. They are signed to wrestle someone else, but I am sure you will get your chance at them.”
Kerry, “We wanted the match that night, but we didn't get it. They’ll have to wrestle us soon and we’ll get those titles back.”
Lowrance, “The fans will be ready for that one. Let’s go to the ring and Kerry will take on the Magic Dragon.”
Match #2
The Magic Dragon vs. Kerry Von Erich
The popular Kerry Von Erich takes on the martial arts expert from Macao. He chops away at Kerry, but it does not phase the muscular Texan. Kerry overpowers the Dragon and wins with the Discus Punch.

Chris Adams vs. Mike Reed
Before the match starts, Gary Hart comes out and sits down, with a notebook. This match is all Adams. He is sharp and shows why is one of the top stars in the game He finishes off Reed with a Superkick. As Adams is leaving the ring, Hart stops him. He speaks with Adams for a few seconds and heads to the back. Adams stands for a moment and then goes to the back,
Winner-Chris Adams
Lowrance is with Skandor Akbar and his men.
Lowrance,”With me is General Skandor Akbar and his entourage. General Akbar, the Long Riders are in action tonight, and on October 26, they challenge for the American Tag Team Titles. Buck Zumhofe and Iceman Parsons got the best of them last time.”
Akbar, “Thieves! That’s what they are, thieves! They stole the titles and then they stole the masks. They will pay for this. The Irwins don’t need masks, they are ready to destroy those two bums! They will have the titles back after the State Fair!”
Lowrance, “What about the Missing Link and Kamala? What are your plans for them?”
Akbar, “This is Devastation Incorporated’ so our plans are devastation! I will turn these two loose and I will not be responsible for what happens!”
Lowrance, “’Devastation Incorporated is ready for action. Let’s see the Long Riders in the ring.”
Match #4
The Long Riders w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Dale Veasey and Manuel Villalobos
The big bikers from Duluth take the fight to Veasey and Villalobos. Scott pounds away and Veasey and Dale is overmatched. Villalobos tags in and meets the same fate. Bill Irwin ends the match with a big boot and cover.
Winners-The Long Riders
Marc Lowrance is with Gary Hart and Gino Hernandez.
Lowrance, “Mr. Hart, I’m going to ask you again, why are you watching Chris Adams’ matches?”
Hart, “And I’m going to tell you again, he’s a great wrestler and that’s all you need to know.”
Lowrance, “Alright, let’s talk about two more great wrestlers. Kevin Von Erich challenges Gino Hernandez for the Texas Title in our main event. That is quite a challenge for the Champion.”
Hart, “You have never heard me say the Von Erich boys can’t wrestle. I’ve said they are protected by their father, and they aren’t very bright, but they all can wrestle. I’ll let Gino tell you what he thinks.”
Hernandez, “First of all, I am your Champion! and as you Champion, I will give you the best in wrestling action. Gary's right, Von Erich is a good wrestler, but I’m a great wrestler and great will always beat good. I’ll take care of Kevin and send him crying to his old man!”
Lowrance, “It’s going to be a great one.”
Match #5
American Championship
Gino Hernandez (Champion) w/”Playboy” Gary Hart vs. Kevin Von Erich
Plays and Gino Hernandez enters the ring holding both title belts. Only the American Title is on the line tonight. We then hear,
Kevin Von Erich hits the ring and Gino jumps him. The match is on! The early moments are a slugfest. Von Erich gets the better of things and Hernandez takes to the floor and confers with Hart. He returns and slows the pace. Gino uses every dirty trick in the book and things turn his way. Kevin is in trouble. Gino uses a piledriver and goes for the pin. Kevin is close enough to the ropes to get his foot on them. That was probably all he could do. The Sportatorium crowd gets behind Kevin. He draws strength from them and rallies. The Champion is on the run. They are close to the ropes and Hernandez flips Kevin over the ropes. Referee David Manning has no choice but to disqualify Gino, but he retains the title.
Winner-Kevin Von Erich (Disqualification)
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, "Gino Hernandez escapes with his title. You know Gary Hart planned that out. Join us next week. Our main event will be a tag team match. The Missing Link and Kamala will team up to take on Johnny Mantell and Chief Jules Strongbow. We will also have more news about the big State Fair show.
