I still need a ring announcer no one I saw was a good fit, any ideas? Doesn’t have to be a big name.

I’ll claim ESPN, but would share it with someone. Just a side note ESPN2 launched in 1993 as a “more causal hipper” alternative to ESPN. Suzy Kolber and Jim Rome got their big breaks here. I wouldn’t pass up an ESPN clearance for this (which I believe GWF had up to 1993) but might be worth getting into for a smaller promotion looking for an ESPN “rub”. |

Right now, are any titles presented as World Titles? The AWA's championship belts, other than America's Heavyweight Belt, were listed as World Titles. Or are the promoter's titles like they are in the 1989-time frame, all world titles? I didn't want to step on anyone's toes by listing the AWA champs as World champs if they are not supposed to be.

They are world titles if you want them to be world titles. It promoters want to work with each other to create touring champions like the NWA world champion than that’s totally fine too.

Now that almost everyone has posted a show, I wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed each and every one of them. We are off to a great start. I enjoy reading everyone’s work, and I can’t wait for more.

I knew this would happen if I took WCW but I’m having difficulty staying motivated with it because this isn’t my favorite period.
I’d like to do something more ‘out there’ and fun - an Indy type promotion. I’ll update my roster in the thread so it should be nobody’s burden but mine.
