Billy Jack Haynes vs. The Angel of Death w/Tojo Yamamoto
The powerful Haynes meets the massive AoD. Both men exchange power moves. The match is very even. Things begin to go Billy Jack’s way. Tojo climbs up on the ring apron. Haynes whips the Angel into Tojo. Yamamoto falls to the floor. The AoD stumbles off the ropes, and Haynes clamps on the full Nelson. The Angel fights, but he is forced to submit.

Larry Zbyszko vs. Brian Adias
“The Living Legend” takes on the talented Texan. Both men are very skilled, and they show it. They exchange holds and counter holds. Adias gets a near fall, and this angers Zbyszko. Larry starts to get more aggressive. Adias fights back, but Larry is too much. He uses a neckbreaker for the win.

Six Man Tag Team Match
The Simpson Brothers and Iceman King Parsons vs. Demolition and “Mean” Mark Callous w/The Genius
The Genius has put together a strong combination. This one will be wild. Joey Marella will try to referee the mayhem. Steve Simpson starts with Smash. Simpson uses his speed to confuse the bigger man. Smash is frustrated, and tags in Ax. The big man dishes out punishment. Simpson tags in Parsons, and the Iceman is a house afire. He clears the ring, and the Genius calls his men together. Shaun Simpson and Callous end up in the ring. Mean Mark uses a choke slam for the win.

Mean Gene Okerlund is with Bobby “The Brain” Heenan and Lex Luger.
Okerlund, “With me are Lex Luger, and his manager, Bobby ‘The Weas.. I mean Brain’ Heenan.”
Heenan, “OkerLund, you’re not going to get to me tonight. This is my night. Ric Flair is going to end Hulk Hogan’s career, and Lex Luger takes the next step to stardom.”
Okerlund, “Many experts predict that 1989 will be the year of Lex Luger.”

Luger, “1989 will be the year of the ‘Total Package’. I will be wearing gold by the end of the year, you can count on that.”

Rick Martel vs. Lex Luger w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan
Luger has the strength advantage. Martel will have to use his athleticism. The early moments of the match go back and forth. Martel gets a two count. Luger is stunned. He takes to the floor and confers with Heenan. Lex returns to the ring and takes over with his strength. Martel is competitive, but Luger gets him up in the human torture rack. Rick fights it, but he submits.

The Bolsheviks w/General Skandor Akbar vs. The Fantastics
It’s size and strength vs. quickness. Volkoff starts with Tommy Rogers. Tommy starts fast. He uses his speed to confuse Volkoff. Akbar is very worried at ringside. He shouts instructions. Volkoff gets more aggressive. He hammers away at Rogers. Tommy tags in Bobby Fulton. He comes in a house afire. He sends Volkoff to the floor to confer with Zhukov and Akbar. Boris tags in, he gets in a few shots, but the Fantastics are too much. They use the Fantastics flip for the win.
Winners- The Fantastics
We see the Piper’s Pit set. Roddy Piper walks out, and the Garden explodes.
Piper, “Hello New York! Merry Christmas! It’s Pit Time! My guest tonight is a little weasel, but he says he has a big announcement, let’s bring out the Genius.”
The Genius walks out.
Piper, “OK, you clown, what’s your announcement?”
Genius, “Piper, your small brain can’t comprehend my ‘Genius’. I have the greatest organization in wrestling. We proved that earlier tonight. Well, it gets even better. I have signed the hottest free agent in wrestling. My organization gets even stronger, I present to you, the Earthquake!”
The Earthquake walks out.
Piper, “He’s a big one!”
Genius, “Yes Piper, even you can figure that out. The Earthquake will destroy anyone in his path! He will leave a swath of destruction in his wake!”
Piper, “This guy is a clown, but he’s put together quite a stable!”

Kamala w/General Skandor Akbar and Friday vs. Cowboy Scott Casey
Casey gives up a lot of size, but he is a tough veteran. The bell rings and Kamala attacks. He overwhelms the man from Bulverde, TX. Scott has no answer. Kamala slams him, and hits the big splash for the win in less than two minutes. The Ugandan Warrior is a monster!

We see Gorilla Monsoon seated in a studio.
Monsoon, “Hello fans, it’s been a great night so far, and it’s going to get even better. This has been a fantastic Pay per View, and the GWA does Pay per Views right. With that said, we have another one coming up. On Saturday night, March 4, we will present “Spring Stampede”. We will be at Reunion Arena in Dallas, TX. This has been a wild feud. Irwin brought in the masked man, and Kerry has his cousin by his side. Lance and Wild Bill start the contest. Lance moves quickly, and Irwin retaliates with underhanded tactics. The action is fast paced. Irwin seems to be getting the better of things. Kerry tags in, and the “Modern Day Warrior” steps in the ring. He takes control, and Irwin is in trouble. He tags in the masked man. He fares no better. Von Erich lands the discus punch for the win. The Von Erich are victorious.

We see an insert of Jerry Lawler.
Lawler, “Funk, you’re nuts, but you’re tough! I’m ready for what you throw at me! Tojo, if you stick your nose into things, I’m ready for that too!”
We see an insert of Jimmy Jack Funk and Tojo Yamamoto.
Tojo, “Jerry Lawler, we go back a long way. Tonight, you lose your title, and your career ends!”

Jerry “The King” Lawler (North American Champion) vs. Jimmy Jack Funk w/Tojo Yamamoto
The wild Funk is very unpredictable. The King will be ready for that. The bell rings and we are underway. This is a brawl from the get go. Both men exchange rights and lefts. The crowd is on their feet. Things seem to go the challengers way. He backs Lawler into the corner. The crowd gets behind Lawler, and he fights his way out of the corner. Tojo shouts instructions from ringside. The brawl continues until both men end up fighting on the arena floor. Referee Joey Marella’s count reaches ten. Both men have been counted out. Nothing has been settled.

The Hart Foundation w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. The Rougeau Brothers
Heenan is back with his tag team champions. The Rougeau Brothers are very good, and will be a challenge. Earl Hebner is your referee. Neidhart and Jacques open the contest. “The Anvil” roughs up Rougeau, but Jacques is ready, and he fights back. The action is fast paced. The contest is very even. Hart tags in. He is one of the finest wrestlers in the game. Raymond tags in, and matches his fellow Canadian move for move. Things begin to go the Champions way. They use the Hart attack for the win. Heenan wins this one. Will he win the next one?

“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with Ric Flair and Bobby Heenan.
Okerlund, “With me is the Global Champion, and his manager, Bobby Heenan. Mr. Heenan, the big moment is here! Ric Flair meets Hulk Hogan!”
Heenan, “Everybody is excited, Hulk Hogan is here. Well, Ric Flair has been a Champion for a long time. He’s wrestled them all, and beaten them all. Tell them Ric!”
Flair, “ Hulk Hogan! You’ve got big muscles, and lots of fans, well I’ve wrestled people like you many times, and I’ve had them for lunch! I’m ‘Space Mountain’, and it might be the oldest ride in the park, but it always has the longest line, Whooooooooo!”
Okerlund, “Mr. Heenan, what about Mike Tyson? You can’t stick your nose into things!”
Heenan, “Tyson better watch his step, or I might be the new heavyweight champion!”
Okerlund, “OK, if you say so. Let’s go to Hulk Hogan.”
We see Hogan in an interview area.
Hogan, “Ric Flair, you got a big mouth, but you can back it up! You’ve wrestled them all, and you’ve beat them all! But you haven’t beaten Hulk Hogan, and whatch’ gonna’ do when Hulkamania runs wild over you?! Mike Tyson, you just call I down the middle, and everything will be fine!”
We see another interview area. Mike Tyson and Jesse Ventura are there.
Ventura, “With is, the heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson. Champ, it’s not easy refereeing a title match, especially one this big. Are you ready?”
Tyson, “Jesse, I know how big this is. I’ve been in some of the biggest fights of all time. I’m ready, and the best man will win!”
Ventura, “Alright, no more talking, let’s get it on!”

Global Heavyweight Championship
“Nature Boy” Ric Flair w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Hulk Hogan
Special Referee-Mike Tyson
Tyson comes to the ring first. The MSG crowd is at a fever pitch already. We hear,
“I am a real American
Fight for the rights of every man
I am a real American
And fight for what's right
Fight for your life”
Hulk Hogan comes down the aisle, and the crowd explodes! Next we hear the classic “Also sprach Zarathustra”, and the Global Champion comes to the ring. The excitement in the building is off the charts. Tyson goes over the instructions. Both men step towards one another, but Tyson steps between them, and pushes them apart. He calls for the bell, and we are underway. Both men are cautious, they know that one mistake could cost them the match. Flair tries to wrestle. He knows he has an advantage on the mat. He is working on Hulk’s leg, and the big man reaches the ropes. Tyson calls for the break and begins to count. He reaches four, and Flair breaks. Tyson begins to lecture Ric, and the champion pushes Mike. Tyson returns the shove. He’s not going to let Flair escape with an easy disqualification. The match continues, and Hogan gains the edge. Flair reaches the ropes, and Tyson calls for the break. Hogan is slow to break. Tyson begins to lecture him. He is calling down the middle. The match goes back and forth. At one point, Heenan climbs up the ring apron. Tyson orders him to the floor. This works, and Flair lands a low blow. Ric thinks he has the edge. For a time he does. Then we see why he’s “Hulk Hogan”! He absorbed the blows from Flair and keeps moving forward. He scoops up Flair and slams him to the mat! Hogan comes off the ropes and lands the leg drop! Tyson counts 1…2…3! Hulk Hogan wins the Global Championship! Kerry Von Erich, Billy Jack Haynes, the Fantastics, and other come to the ring to celebrate with Hogan. Mike Tyson hands the title to Hogan, and raises his hand! The crowd goes crazy!
Winner- Hulk Hogan (New Global Heavyweight Champion)
