Ventura, “I agree McMahon! Billy Jack Haynes is powerful, but brains will win out over brawn!”
McMahon, “Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler returns from injury to defend the North American Title!”
Ventura, “Lawler looked good last night, but let’s see him against Bill Dundee!”
McMahon, “We have the tag team tournament, and we are about to begin!”

Global Tag Team Championship Tournament
The Rougeau Brothers vs. The British Bulldogs
Two teams that play by the rules open up the show. The match begins with a handshake. Smith and Jacques start the contest. Davey Boy uses his power to keep Rougeau on the defensive. Jacques fights back and tags in Raymond. He goes right after Smith. The action is fast paced as Dynamite tags in. The Rougeaus put up a good fight, but Dynamite wins it with a diving headbutt. Both teams shake hands as the Bulldogs advance to the finals.

Global Tag Team Tournament
The Hart Foundation vs. The Islanders w/Bobby Heenan
This should be a hard hitting contest. Haku starts with the “Anvil”. Two powerhouses go toe to toe. They exchange big blows, and the fans feel each one. Haku gets the better of Neidhart. Jim is in trouble, but he is able to tag in Hart. Bret uses his wrestling skill. Haku tags in Tama. The athletic Islander goes to work. Hart fights back. They are close to the ropes. Tama gets Hart up for a suplex. Heenan reaches in and grabs Tama’s leg. Hart falls on top of Tama! Referee Robert counts the fall! What is going on? Heenan comes into the ring and celebrates with the Hart Foundation! What is Heenan doing?

“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with the Hart Foundation and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan.
Okerlund, “Heenan, what are you doing?!”
Heenan, “I’ve always been a manager of Champions. I knew the Islanders couldn’t cut it! The Hart Foundation needed guidance, so we teamed up! Those two limeys better get ready because the Hart Foundation with ‘The Brain’ are going to be Global Tag Team Champions!”

Black Bart vs. Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake
Brutus struts around the ring with his clippers. He better not overlook Bart. The bell rings and we are underway. Bart tries roughhouse tactics. Brutus can hold his own, and he proves it. The match goes back and forth until Bruti slaps on the sleeper. Bart fights it, but he is out. Brutus pulls out the scissors and clips some of Bart’s hair.

We see sights from New York City during the holidays. A graphic and voiceover say,

Iceman King Parsons vs. Cowboy Bob Orton
The popular Iceman takes on the rugged veteran. Orton and Parsons mat wrestle. Iceman holds his own. Both men get two counts. Orton is frustrated. He goes to more roughhouse tactics. Parsons fights back. We now have a pier six brawl. Parsons hits the butt bump for the win. A very good win for the Iceman.

The Bolsheviks w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Rick Martel and Eric Embry
The big Russians meet a team of two very popular men. Martel and Volkoff start the contest. It’s size vs. speed. Martel looks very good. Volkoff tries to overpower Martel. Rick fights back. Volkoff is in trouble, and he tags in Zhukov. Martel tags in Embry. Eric gives up size, but he is game. He puts up a fight until Zhukov hits a headbutt and covers Embry for the win.

“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with Kerry Von Erich.
Okerlund, “With me is the ‘Modern Day Warrior’ Kerry Von Erich. Mr. Von aerich, you are one of the most popular, and successful, men in the GWA. Tonight you meet Wild Bill Irwin. He’s a tough biker from Minnesota. Are you ready for him?”
Kerry, “Gene, the competition in the GWA is the best in wrestling. Every night you wrestle someone tough, and Irwin is as tough as they come. I want to beat him, and want to get to the top here. It starts tonight!”

Kerry Von Erich vs. Wild Bill Irwin
The popular Von Erich takes on the rugged Irwin. Wild Bill jumps Kerry before the bell. Kerry is in trouble. Irwin slams his head into the turnbuckle. Irwin tosses Kerry to the floor. Von Erich regroups and returns to the ring. Kerry mounts a comeback. He now has Irwin on the run. Kerry whips Bill into the ropes and clamps on the Von Erich iron claw. Irwin is in trouble. Suddenly, a masked man hits the ring. He attacks Kerry. Referee Earl Hebner furiously calls for the bell. The two men work over Kerry. Suddenly, someone comes out of the crowd. It’s Kerry’s Cousin, Lance Von Erich! The four men brawl. Irwin and the masked man take to the floor. Kerry grabs the mic.
Kerry, “Irwin, I don’t know who that circus clown is, but this is my cousin Lance! If you want a piece of us, let’s get it on!”

“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with Lex Luger and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan.
Okerlund, “Mr. Heenan, you’re back, now with Lex Luger. Tonight he has a tough task. He has to take on Hacksaw Jim Duggan.”
Heenan, “That cock eyed ham and egger, don’t make me laugh. Lex Luger is the ‘Total Package’. He has the size, The strength, and the brains to beat anyone. Duggan is a big, dumb, oaf, Lex will tie him in knots!”
Luger, “Duggan look at me. You talk about being a football play, well I was a star, just like I am in wrestling. You can’t our wrestle me, and you sure can’t out think me. It’s all over for you!”

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Lex Luger w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan
Two big men meet in this one. The Boston crowd loves Duggan, but I don’t think Luger cares. The early moments of the match are an exchange of power moves. Duggan holds his own, and Luger is frustrated. He takes to the floor and confers with “The Brain”. Luger returns to the ring, and Duggan is waiting. The crowd is on the edge of their seats. Lugar starts a comeback. Heenan shouts instructions from ringside. Lex goes for the Human Torture Rack. Can he get Duggan up? He does! Hacksaw fights it, but he submits! What a win for Luger!

McMahon, “Fans, one of the most controversial men in the history of wrestling is ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper. He pioneered interview segments with Piper’s Pit. He has been gone for a long time, but he’s back!”
Ventura, “Let someone else talk McMahon! Piper is controversial, but he delivers what he promises! Tonight, he’s promised a huge surprise, let’s see it!”
McMahon, “Alright, let’s see i!”
We see the “Piper’s Pit” set. Roddy Piper walks out, and the crowd goes crazy!
Piper, “Hello Boston! The Boss is back! They tried to shut up RP, everyone knows that doesn’t work! I do what I want, and I say what I want! I told you I had a big surprise, so let’s see it!”
We hear,

Out comes…HULK HOGAN! He and Piper are eye to eye. Hogan extends his hand, Piper hesitates, but shakes it! The crowd explodes!
Piper, “Hulk Hogan, you and I go back a long way! We’ve been friends, we’ve been enemies, why are you here?”
Hogan, “Well, you know something Roddy Piper, we do go back a long way, I haven’t always liked you, but I always respected you! I want to talk to you first! I know the GWA is the best wrestling in the sport, and I wanted to come here, and I came here to get to the top, and that’s where I’m going…right to the top! Watcha’ Gonna’ Do When HULKAMANIA runs all over you!”
We go back to McMahon and Ventura.
McMahon, “Jess, Hulk Hogan is here!”
Ventura, “He’s washed up McMahon! He thinks he’s coming in and taking over, he doesn’t have what it takes!”
McMahon, “I don’t think so Jesse, the landscape just changed!”

North American Championship
Jerry “The King” Lawler (Champion) vs. “Superstar” Bill Dundee
Two stars of Southern wrestling battle in “Beantown”. Dundee thought he ended “The King’s” career. Lawler is back, but is he up to the task? Referee Robert Warren calls for the bell. These two men know each other like the backs of their hands. They both wrestle cautiously. Neither man wants to make a mistake. Lawler slowly gains the edge. Dundee is frustrated, and he drives a knee to Jerry’s midsection. “The Superstar” continues with his underhanded tactics. Lawler is ready for this, and he fights fire with fire. We have a good old Memphis on our hands. Lawler pulls down the strap, and grabs Dundee. He gets him up, and lands the piledriver. He covers Dundee, and Warren counts the fall. “The King” vanquishes “The Superstar”.

McMahon, “Jesse, what a night! We have another big announcement! GWA Jack Tunney with the help of Gorilla Monsoon went to work right after Piper’s Pit, and what an announcement we have!”

We see Monsoon in an interview location.
Monsoon, “Hello fans, what a night, what a bombshell! Hulk Hogan in the GWA. President Jack Tunney and I went to work. We have a huge announcement. Beginning tomorrow night in Hartford, CT, we present ‘Winter Warriors, Hulkamania Forever’! We can announce nine big cards that have already been signed. Hulk Hogan will appear on each one of them! Here’s what we have so far.

The British Bulldogs vs. The Hart Foundation w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan
“The Brain” is nothing, if not, opportunistic. Apparently he now manages the Hart Foundation. The Bulldogs better keep an eye on him. These are two of the best teams in the sport. Al DeRusha is your referee. The bell rings and it’s the Dynamite kid and Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart are in the ring. Both men are very strong, and they show it. The match is dead even. Heenan shouts instructions from ringside. The Kid takes to the air, and he has the edge. “The Anvil” tags in his brother in law, and two of the best wrestlers in the world go to work. The action goes back and forth. It is dead even. Davey Boy Smith tags in, and he and Hart lock up. Bret uses his skill to gain the edge. He takes Smith down. They are close to the ropes. Hart goes for the cover. Smith gets his foot on the rope, but Heenan knocks it off. DeRusha does not see this and counts three! The Hart Foundation are the Global Tag Team Champions! The Bulldogs argue as Heenan and the Hart Foundation celebrate!
Winners- The Hart Foundation (New Global Tag Team Champions)

McMahon, “Jess, it’s time for the main event. Ric Flair puts the Global Championship on the line against Billy Jack Haynes. This will be a test for the Champion.”

McMahon, “Let’s hear from the combatants.”

Haynes, “Ric Flair, you’ve got a big mouth! You’re a great wrestler, but your ego is going to be your downfall. I’m ready, tne fans are behind me, I’ve trained twice as hard for this one. I’m taking that title for the fans, for the Dad, and for myself!l”

Heenan, “Billy Jerk, you think you stand a chance tonight. You can’t be that dumb, well maybe you can. I’ve won one title tonight, I’m not losing one!”
Flair, “Haynes! You got a lot of guts, no brains, but a lot of guts! I am Ric Flair, I am the Global Champion! You’re going to step onto the ring, and get the wrestling lesson of a lifetime! Whoooooo!”

Ric Flair (Champion) w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Billy Jack Haynes
Earl Hebner is your referee. Flair and Heenan put the badmouth on Haynes. Billy is focused. This won’t unnerve him. Hebner calls for the bell, and we are underway. Both men lock up. Haynes pushes Flair to the mat. Ric is frustrated. He backs into the corner. He lures Haynes, and lands a kick to the midsection. Ric takes over, and uses his wiles to dish out punishment. Flair gets a two count, but Haynes kicks out. Heenan thought he had it. Flair moves in, but this time, Haynes gets in the first shot. Billy Jack goes to work. He dishes out punishment, and the Champion is in trouble. Billy whips Flair into the ropes and drops him with a shoulder tackle. Flair struggles to his feet. Haynes slaps on the full Nelson! We will see a new Champion. Flair is working his way to the corner. The crowd is going crazy. Ric gets to the corner, and kicks off the turnbuckles. Both men go down. Both of their shoulders are on the mat. Hebner counts 1…2… Flair gets his shoulder up! Hebner reaches three! There is confusion in the ring. Hebner raises Flair’s hand. Heenan celebrates with the Champion. There is a commotion in the aisle. Coming to the ring is…HULK HOGAN! He climbs in the ring and takes the mic from Howard Finkel.
Hogan, “Flair, I came here to be the Champion! On Christmas night, get in the ring with me, and I’ll take that title!”
We have a standoff in the ring.

McMahon, and Ventura close the show.

Global Tag Team Championship
The British Bulldogs vs. The Hart Foundation w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan
“The Brain” is nothing, if not, opportunistic. Apparently he now manages the Hart Foundation. The Bulldogs better keep an eye on him. These are two of the best teams in the sport. Al DeRusha is your referee. The bell rings and it’s the Dynamite kid and Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart are in the ring. Both men are very strong, and they show it. The match is dead even. Heenan shouts instructions from ringside. The Kid takes to the air, and he has the edge. “The Anvil” tags in his brother in law, and two of the best wrestlers in the world go to work. The action goes back and forth. It is dead even. Davey Boy Smith tags in, and he and Hart lock up. Bret uses his skill to gain the edge. He takes Smith down. They are close to the ropes. Hart goes for the cover. Smith gets his foot on the rope, but Heenan knocks it off. DeRusha does not see this and counts three! The Hart Foundation are the Global Tag Team Champions! The Bulldogs argue as Heenan and the Hart Foundation celebrate!

McMahon, “Jess, it’s time for the main event. Ric Flair puts the Global Championship on the line against Billy Jack Haynes. This will be a test for the Champion.”
Ventura, “Oh Haynes is good, but to beat the Champion you need to be great. Ric Flair is great.”
McMahon, “Let’s hear from the combatants.”
We see Billy Jack Haynes in an interview area.
Haynes, “Ric Flair, you’ve got a big mouth! You’re a great wrestler, but your ego is going to be your downfall. I’m ready, tne fans are behind me, I’ve trained twice as hard for this one. I’m taking that title for the fans, for the Dad, and for myself!l”
We see Ric Flair and Bobby Heenan in an interview area.
Heenan, “Billy Jerk, you think you stand a chance tonight. You can’t be that dumb, well maybe you can. I’ve won one title tonight, I’m not losing one!”
Flair, “Haynes! You got a lot of guts, no brains, but a lot of guts! I am Ric Flair, I am the Global Champion! You’re going to step onto the ring, and get the wrestling lesson of a lifetime! Whoooooo!”

Global Championship
Ric Flair (Champion) w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Billy Jack Haynes
Earl Hebner is your referee. Flair and Heenan put the badmouth on Haynes. Billy is focused. This won’t unnerve him. Hebner calls for the bell, and we are underway. Both men lock up. Haynes pushes Flair to the mat. Ric is frustrated. He backs into the corner. He lures Haynes, and lands a kick to the midsection. Ric takes over, and uses his wiles to dish out punishment. Flair gets a two count, but Haynes kicks out. Heenan thought he had it. Flair moves in, but this time, Haynes gets in the first shot. Billy Jack goes to work. He dishes out punishment, and the Champion is in trouble. Billy whips Flair into the ropes and drops him with a shoulder tackle. Flair struggles to his feet. Haynes slaps on the full Nelson! We will see a new Champion. Flair is working his way to the corner. The crowd is going crazy. Ric gets to the corner, and kicks off the turnbuckles. Both men go down. Both of their shoulders are on the mat. Hebner counts 1…2… Flair gets his shoulder up! Hebner reaches three! There is confusion in the ring. Hebner raises Flair’s hand. Heenan celebrates with the Champion. There is a commotion in the aisle. Coming to the ring is…HULK HOGAN! He climbs in the ring and takes the mic from Howard Finkel.
Hogan, “Flair, I came here to be the Champion! On Christmas night, get in the ring with me, and I’ll take that title!”
We have a standoff in the ring.
Winner- Ric Flair
McMahon, and Ventura close the show.
McMahon, “Jesse, Hulk Hogan has challenged Ric Flair!”
Ventura, “Hogan is biting off more than he can chew! He can’t beat Flair!”
McMahon, “It looks like they’re going to meet on Christmas night! I can’t wait!”
