Regardless of his shoulder injury, Hall went in there to defend the belt against a healthy challenger & was beaten. Hall is going to be out of action for a short time to recuperate. However, the new champion has several challengers head of him including Bob Backlund, Harley Race, Nick Bockwinkel, 'Mr. USA' Tony Atlas, Jimmy Golden and others. We will also be showing highlights from some of the other matches from the Tennessee tour on today's show.
Watts leaves as Patera & Hunter join Les & Rick at the desk to brag on beating Scott Hall for the title. Patera proclaims that nobody out there can beat him -- Backlund, Atlas, McDaniel, Race, Bockwinkel -- nobody.
