Chris Cruise and Buddy Colt welcome fans to “WOW TV”, where we will be bringing fans the very best of action from World Organization Wrestling. In this half-hour, the Southern Heavyweight and Tag Team Champions will be here to address potential challengers on the horizon.
Southern Heavyweight Champion Dick Slater arrived at the desk as Cruise announced that a battle between former tag team partners will take place on Halloween Night at the War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale when Slater defends the WOW Heavyweight Title against Mike Graham.
Slater: “Nobody knows the legacy of the Graham family in Florida more than I do. Mike Graham and I wrestled together since high school - but Mike, this isn’t the old days. Your family aren’t here to protect you anymore. I’m willing to do absolutely anything to maintain my iron grip over Florida - can you say the same? I don’t think so.”
MATCH #1: DICK SLATER VS. DOUG GILBERT
The Southern Heavyweight Champion puts on an exhibition, as he works over each limb methodically and then forces Gilbert to submit to the spinning toe-hold.

MATCH #2: SOUTHERN TV TITLE TOURNAMENT, QUARTER-FINALS
STEVEN REGAL VS. CHRIS BENOIT
A technical match spans two commercial breaks, with both men trying to match each other hold for hold. Regal eventually blocks a cross-face attempt and then suplexes Benoit to the canvas, before tying up his legs for a three count.
WINNER AND ADVANCING: STEVEN REGAL
In the post-match, Steven Regal speaks with Chris Cruise and Buddy Colt - asking if this is the same arena where they used to have ‘A Wrestling Devil’ and a ‘chubby American Dream’? Regal says he’s heard Florida used to be a hotbed for the greatest professional wrestling - and he’s the man to bring ti back to its heights by introducing the true art form of British wrestling.

Graham: “Dick Slater can come out here, he can talk about how we grew up together, he can his mouth about that all he wants. He can insult me however he wants to. But, Dick Slater, don’t bring my family into this again. You hear me, Dick? I mean it. Leave them out of this - it’s between you and me.”
MATCH #3: THE BRUISE BROTHERS VS. SABU AND ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER
The Russian Nightmare has brought the terrifying team of The Butcher and Sabu, nephew of The Sheik, to terrorize rings here in Florida. However, they face two tough twins in Ron and Don Harris. The Bruiser Brothers brawl all over the studio with Sabu and The Butcher, leading the referee to eventually throw out the match!

Manager Diamond Dallas Page tells Buddy Colt and Chris Cruise that his mentor, Big Daddy Dink, ran the state if Florida back in the day and now it’s time for him to make his mark on the Sunshine State. DDP says his pockets are loaded and he’s looking to take his crew all the way to the top - starting with the Southern Tag Team Champions!
DDP is joined on set by Southern Tag Team Champions, ‘Mean’ Mark and ‘Dangerous’ Dan, The Skyscrapers. DDP wants to know if there is any team brave enough to stand in the ring against his ‘twin towers of destruction’?
MATCH #5: SOUTHERN TV TITLE TOURNAMENT, QUARTER-FINALS
Love Machine vs. Too Cold Scorpio
The masked Love Machine tries every trick in the book, but Scorpio has an incredible aerial arsenal and puts him down for the count with a 450 splash off the top rope.

Furnas: “They call me the ‘World’s Strongest Man’ for a reason - and I can promise you, if Diamond Dallas Page will put his Skyscrapers in the ring with Dan and myself, we can prove that those skyscrapers will come tumbling down!
MATCH #5: MIKE GRAHAM VS. ‘HOLLYWOOD’ BOB HOLLY
Holly puts in a solid showing, but is put down when Graham catches him flush with a dropkick coming off the ropes for the pin-fall.
WINNER: MIKE GRAHAM
After the match, Dick Slater approaches the desk while Graham is having his hand raised.
Slater: “I’d just like to come out here and extend my apologies, Mike! I didn’t mean to offend you or your family. If I did mean to do that, I’d have probably said your daddy is looking down ashamed of you… That’s what I’d say!”
Mike Graham jumps out of the ring and chases after Dick Slater, with the champion quickly bolt from the ringside area. There will be hell to pay!
