Monsoon, “‘Monday Night Wrestling’ is on the air! Jess, once again things have changed in the wrestling world.”
Ventura, “That’s right Gino Monsoon, it only gets better in the GWA!”
Monsoon, “Things may have changed, but one thing remains the same, Ric Flair is still the Global Champion, and he’s in the ring with Gene Okerlund!.
Ventura, “How come Okerlund gets to interview the Champ?”
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is in the ring with Ric Flair, and his manager, Bobby ‘The Brain” Heenan.
Okerlund, “With me are, the Global Champion, Ric Flair and his manager, Bobby ‘The Weas…’, I mean ‘Brain’ Heenan.”
Heenan, “Watch it Okerlund!”
Okerlund, “Mr. Flair, Mr. Heenan, the GWA has changed, but you’re still on top.”
Flair, “That’s right Okerlund! I’m still the man to beat, I am on top of the world!”
Okerlund, “In the coming days, a number one contender will be named. There are many top names vying for that position.”
Heenan, “It doesn’t matter, Ric is the best, and he’s not giving up this title!”
Flair, “Whether you like it, or you don’t, learn to love it! I am the number one man in the sport! Whoooooooo!”
Okerlund, “The Champion is in our first match.

Non Title Match
“Nature Boy” Ric Flair (Global Champion) w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Gary Royal
The Champion starts fast. He chain wrestles, ties Royal in knots. Royal is game, but he’s no match for Flair. Ric slaps on the figure four and Royal submits.

Match #2
The Bolsheviks w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Spike Huber and Vic Steamboat
Akbar brings his two monsters to the ring. The big Russians hate America and are vicious. Zhukov starts with Huber. Spike is very powerful. Zhukov starts to gain an edge. He tags in the bigger Volkoff, and he dishes out punishment. Steamboat tags in, but Nikolai is too much. He gets Steamboat up in the backbreaker, and Vic submits.
Winners- The Bolsheviks
Gorilla Monsoon is with GWA President Jack Tunney.
Monsoon, “With me is GWA President Jack Tunney. Mr. Tunney, th8ngs are heating up as the weather gets colder. We are headed to the holidays. What about Thanksgiving?”
Tunney, “Thank you Gorilla. The action in GWA is fantastic. On Thanksgiving night we will be at the Boston Garden with ‘Thanksgiving Thunder’. The show will be broadcast on Pay per View. We will have more information in the coming weeks.”
Monsoon, “Contact your local TV provider for more information.”

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Serge Jodain
The powerful Hacksaw is one of the toughest men in the sport. He goes right after the French Canadian. Duggan is very aggressive, and controls the action. Jodain has no chance. Duggan hits a spear for the win.
Winner- Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Match #4
The Rougeau Brothers vs. The Kelly Twins
Two Sets of Canadian brothers meet. Jacques starts with Pat. Rougeau gives up size, but has the advantage on the mat. The match is even until Jacques picks up the pace. He tags in Raymond, and he goes to work. Mike tags in, but the Rougeaus are too much, and win with the cannonball.
Winners- The Rougeau Brothers
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with Billy Jack Haynes.
Okerlund, “With me is one of the strongest men in wrestling. Billy Jack, there is a lot of talk that you might be named the number one contender to Ric Flair’s title.”
Haynes, “Mr. Okerlund, there are a lot of great wrestlers in the GWA. I’d like to be the number contender, and if I am, I planning on beating Flair for the title.”
Okerlund, “Billy Jack is very confident. I, for one, would like to see him take on Flair.”
Match #5
Billy Jack Haynes vs. Mohammed Saed
The Powerful man from Oregon takes on the madman from the Mid East. He jumps Billy before the bell. Haynes is in trouble. Billy fights back, and now Saed is in retreat. Billy dishes out punishment, and clamps on the full Nelson, and Saed submits.
Winner-Billy Jack Haynes
Match #6
Kamala w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Sunni War Cloud
Jungle drums play, and Akbar leads the Ugandan Giant to the ring. War Cloud is in trouble. Kamala attacks. He chops, kicks, and chokes Sunni. Kamala overwhelms War cloud and wins with a big splash.
Winner- Kamala
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with Kerry Von Erich.
Okerlund, “With me is the ‘Modern Day Warrior’ Kerry Von Erich. Kerry, the GWA is changing, but you are still at the top. What are your plans?”
Kerry, “Thanks Gene. The competition here in GWA is the best in the business. I’m here to wrestle anyone. I want any title that’s available, I want to get to the top.”
Okerlund, “Kerry is in our main event, he takes on the rugged Black Bart.”
Match #7
Kerry Von Erich vs. Black Bart
The big cowboy from the Badlands waits in the ring. “The Modern Day Warrior” comes down the aisle, and the crowd goes crazy. Kerry climbs into the ring, and the crowd gets louder. Referee Earl Hebner calls for the bell, and we are underway. Bart is very aggressive; he works over Kerry. The Texan is in trouble. Suddenly, Von Erich rallies. He hits a discuss punch for the win.
