IWF taped Wednesday 9-28 in Jackson, MS. (Airs 10-1 WGN & syndicated). First of two TV tapings.
The announcing team of Les Thatcher & Rick Srewart kick off todays show with a big announcement from president of the Rock Hunter Organization, Rock Hunter himself. Mr. Hunter announces he decided not renew the contracts of Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel. The arrogant announcer says that he has found the man who can bring the IWF World's Heavyweight Belt back to the Hunter Organization -- 'The World's Strongest Man' Ken Patera. A smiling Patera joins Mr. Hunter & IWF World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Joe Malenko w/valet the Fallen Angel. Ken says he is sick of playing second fiddle to a lot of no-talent punks in the UWF & he immediately accepted Mr. Hunter's incentive to join the Hunter Organization.
IWF Commissioner 'Cowboy' Bill Watts joins Les & Rick to express his feelings on the matter. Watts says a leopard never changes his spots. He has known Patera for a long time as a bad guy & Watts says sooner or later he revert back to his old waya. Scott Hall had better watch his back now that 'World's Strongest Man' is gunning for his title.
Before going to commercial break, Stewart annouces in action today are the Missing Link, Wendi RIchter, Chavo Guerrero, Scott Hall & Paul Orndorff and Mr. Olympa.

We go to the ring with sexy dressed announcer Mike McGuirk for the ring introductions.
Match 1. (1-10). Single Match. The Missing Link w/Dark Journey beat DI Bob Carter with a vicious headbutt. (7:46).
Interview by Stewart with Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkle on leaving the Hunter Organization. Race says it's business but doesn't Mr. Rock Hunter implying he & Mr. Nick Bockwinkel were getting to old. Bockwinkel totally agrees with Race & Nick adds he wants to see how well the Rock Hunter Organization does without them.

Match 2. (1-10). Non-Titles Ladies Singles Match IWF Women's World's Champ Wendi Richter d. Judy Martin by DQ. (8:51).
Interview by Stewart with a very disappointed 'Mr. USA' Tony Atlas on Patera joining the Rock Hunter Organization. Atlas though Patera was a changed man but it seems money is more important than friendship.

Match 4. (1-10). Single Match. Chavo Guerrero beat Mike Jackson with a flying body press. (9:31).
Interview by Stewart with Malenko accompanied by Hunter & Fallen Angel on Chavo Guerrero becoming the top challenger to his title. Malenko says he will show Guerrero who the dominat the famiy in the wrestling business is -- it's M for Malenko!
Match 5. (1-10). Non-Title 4 Man Tag Team Match. IWF World Tag Team Champs Paul Orndorff & Mr. Olympia beat 'Hacksaw' Higgins & 'Iron' Mike Masters. )7:31). Olympia with the sleeper on HIggins.
