Ralph Pulley is in the ring.
Pulley “Welcome to ‘Alamo Wrestling’, the hottest new thing in Texas. Tonight is our first show, and we know you are going to love the action. Let’s get right to it!”
Match #1
Brickhouse Brown vs. Bob Bradley
Two very good athletes go at it in the first “Alamo Wrestling” match. Brickhouse starts fast, and the Cat counters. The action is fast and furious. Things begin to go Brown’s way. Bradley is frustrated. He starts to rough up his opponent. Bob goes for a rolling reverse, but Brown counters, and referee Rick Hazzard counts the fall!
Winner- Brickhouse Brown
Match #2
Ivan and Scott Putski vs.The Assassins
The veteran “Polish Power” teams with his son. The mysterious masked men are an unknown. Scott starts with Assassin #2. Scott is quicker than his father. He uses it to control the action. The masked man is in trouble. He tags in his partner, and #1 goes to the illegal tactics. Scot tags in his legendary father. Ivan slows the pace. He whips the masked man into the ropes and hits the Polish Hammer. He covers the Assassin, and the crowd goes crazy.
Winners- Ivan and Scott Putski
Match #3
“Exotic” Adrian Street w/Miss Linda and Mr. Hughes vs. Skip Young
Street takes the mic from Ralph Pulley.
Street, “My name is the ‘Exotic’ Adrian Street, I’m from the Royal Forest of Dean in England, a very sophisticated area full of intelligent people, not uneducated, uncouth, rednecks like Texas. When I come to the ring I always have the beautiful Miss Linda with me. I am a very important person, and many people want to touch me, so I have a bodyguard. This massive man is Mr. Hughes, and he protects me. Now, Skip Young, you have a lot of big muscles, but you are not Adrian Street.”
After Street’s soliloquy the two veterans lock up. Both of these man are skilled veterans. The first few minutes are a dizzying deeply of wrestling, and counter wrestling. Street is very tough despite his appearance. He roughs up Skip, but Sweet Brown Sugar fights back. The fans are on their feet. Young goes for a flying body press, but misses. Skip struggles to his feet, and Street clamps on the cobra hold. Young fights it, but he is out. Street will be a force to be reckoned with.

Match #4
Lance Von Erich vs. Billy Joe Travis
It wouldn’t be wrestling in Texas without a Von Erich. Lance takes on the youngster from Tennessee. The match begins with a handshake. It is a scientific encounter. Both men get near falls. Von Erich’s experience starts to show, and he wins with a flying body press. Lance Von Erich will make a name for himself.
Winner- Lance Von Erich
Ralph Pulley is in the ring with the Simpson Brothers.
Pulley, “Are you enjoying the show so far?”
The crowd cheers.
Pulley, “It’s only going to get better. With me are one of the most popular tag teams in Texas, from Africa, the Simpson Brothers. Shaun, Steve, tonight you meet two tough guys, Al Madril, and Johnny Mantell.”
Steve, “Thank you Ralph, it’s great to be back in Texas. We have been wrestling in New York. It was exciting, but there is no place like Texas. Now tonight, Shaun and I know how good Madril and Mantell are. They are tough, and not afraid to break the rules. We came back to Texas to wrestle the best. We won’t back down from anyone.”
Shaun, “Just like Steve said, there’s no place like Texas. The competition is the best in the business. Steve and I are ready for anything.”
Pulley, “What a main event we have tonight. Let’s talk a little bit about what’s coming up. Next Saturday night, we will be at Canyon Lake High School. That’s a short drive from here, get out and see ‘Alamo Wrestling’. Now for the big announcement. ‘Alamo Wrestling’ is coming to TV. Saturday night, October 15, ‘Alamo Wrestling” will debut on KABB San Antonio. Tune in at 11:30 Saturday night for great wrestling action!.” Before we get back to the show, remember Lance Von Erich, Ivan, and Scott Putski are signing autographs in the lobby.”
Match #5
Bugsy McGraw vs. “Gorgeous” Gary Young
Two more veterans go at it. McGraw’s eccentric antics entertain the fans. Young is no nonsense, and attacks Bugsy before the bell. He pounds away, and McGraw is in trouble. The crowd gets behind the man from San Francisco, and he fights back. We have the brawl we expected. Both men stand toe to toe, and slug it out. Referee Rick Hazzard stands back and lets them go at it. Both men end up on the floor and continue to brawl. Hazzard counts. He reaches 20 as both men brawl their way back to the dressing room.
Result- Double Count Out
Match #6
The Simpson Brothers vs. Al Madril and Johnny Mantell
The crowd is buzzing over this one. The young ladies love the Simpsons, but they need to be tough to handle their opponents. Shaun starts with Madril. The veteran from Los Angeles starts fast. He takes the fights to the younger Simpson. Shaun backs into the corner, and Madril pounds away. The crowd gets behind Simpson, and he fights his way out of the corner. Shaun whips Madril into the ropes, and clamps on a sleep hold. Madril gets to the ropes. He is surprised by Shaun. He tags in Mantell. The Cowboy from Wise, TX is a wily veteran. He slows the pace and Steve tags in. The elder Simpson picks up the pace. Mantell fights back. All four men end up in the ring. In the confusion Steve climbs up to the top rope. He catches Mantell with a flying body press. Referee Rick Hazzard counts 1…2…3! The Simpsons win! Alamo Wrestling has arrived!
