Dustin Rhodes hitting a bulldog!
Terry Funk piledriving an opponent!
Missy Hyatt blowing a kiss at the camera!
The Sheepherders saluting the New Zealand flag!
Tito Santana pinning Austin Idol!
Vader and Madusa coming down the aisle!
Nord the Berzerker coming to the ring, waving his sword above his head!

The new American Champion Tito Santana comes to the ring for our first match. He gets a standing ovation from the Fort Worth fans!
Tito Santana vs. Killer Tim Brooks: This is a non-title match although Brooks is a possible future contender. Brooks uses his brawling style to make it a tough bout for Santana, but Tito finishes the Killer with a flying forearm.
MARSHALL: Today, we received this videotape from BADD Company, Paul Diamond & Pat Tanaka. It's worth watching.....
VTR:
A red convertible is parked outside of a steel mill. BADD Company are in the car...
DIAMOND: Man, Kokina left us for dead in Vegas!
TANAKA: Yeah, we had things going our way with Tatum & Victory until that goo showed up!
DIAMOND: What's the story with this guy?
TANAKA: He grew up with Downtown Bruno here in Pittsburgh. He's a trained wrestler. He and Bruno had a deal-when one of them got a contract, he'd take his buddy with him.Well, Bruno caught on with the UWA and forgot all about his pal!
DIAMOND: He calls himself US Steel? Well at least he sounds tough! (a whistle goes off in the background)
TANAKA: Sounds like the shift is over!
“40 Hour Week” by Alabama plays and we now have a music video. A group of steelworkers come out of the mill. One man is head and shoulders bigger than the rest! He approaches BADD Company. They shake hands all around. Next we see them in a bar. At the bar, the big man puts several large biker types down in arm wrestling and knocks down a few beers. Next, we see the big man in a wrestling ring in a gym. He takes on several men at once and basically steamrolls all of them! The music fades and we see BADD Company and US Steel together outside the gym.
TANAKA; US Steel, you're everything they said you were!
DIAMOND: Are you willing to come to the UWA and help us deal with Downtown Bruno and his goons?
STEEL: I owe Bruno for stabbing me in the back! Kokina is a big, bad dude and that's a fact! I don't sweat him, I promise you that! I'll go through him like hot lead if it means I get a piece of Bruno!
TANAKA: Tell ya what, big man! We'll send you a plane ticket as soon as we get back home!
DIAMOND: Look out, UWA! US Steel is on his way!
COMMERCIAL
Hollywood Heartbreakers & the Great Kokina (w/Downtown Bruno) vs. Reno Riggins, Cousin Junior, & Mike Jackson: The faces hold their own for a few minutes, but Bruno's men are too much! Kokina pins Riggins after a Samoan drop. Magnum says that BADD Company and US Steel could be a big problem for Bruno and his guys!
BONI: I'm joined by Downtown Bruno and what he calls his Downtown Connection-The Hollywood Heartbreakers & the Great Kokina! Bruno, Paul Diamond & Pat Tanaka have reinforcements!
BRUNO: Yeah, that stooge US Steel, I tried to help him out! He wasn't ready for prime time, baby! It's like Mama says, it bes dat way sometimes! He ain't in Kokina's league! Just like B-A-Double D ain't in the Heartbreaker's league!
BONI: OK, why did Kokina need to get involved at VIVA LAS VEGAS?
TATUM: He didn't need to! Tanaka and Diamond were being punished for backstabbing Bruno and the Downtown Connection! It wasn't about proving Jack and me were better-that's obviously true! It was all about paybacks! The big man handled that for us!
BRUNO: You tell'em, Hollywood! Ain't he great, Boni?
BONI: Ok, so you don't consider US Steel a threat?
BRUNO: Small potatoes, Boni! That's all there is to it! Hollywood Heartbreakers are top of the line! Kokina is top of the line! Badd Company and Fat Boy, two punks ans a broken down steelworker! Not in our league at all, Boni Blackstone!They might as well put you in the ring with Madusa Miceli!
BONI: Gee, thanks! We'll have to wait and see! US Steel is on his way!
COMMERCIAL
BONI: I'm here with one of the hottest young tag teams in the sport today- Dustin Rhodes & Kendall Windham, the Texas Broncos! You both are second generation wrestlers and your fathers were superstars, but you don't seem to let that put pressure on you.
WINDHAM: Our dads were great and they were big influences on the way we do things! A man has to stand on his own two feet and make his own way! That's what Dustin and myself are doing!
BONI: And you're doing it well. You two are undefeated as a team and moving up the rankings!
RHODES: That leads to our big news! The biggest news of all! Two weeks from tonight, right here on UWA FURY.....The Texas Broncos will challenge for the World Titles against those no good Sheepherders!
WINDHAM: I can't hardly wait! This will be the biggest night of my life! We're gonna be ready to go! I honestly believe we can do it!
RHODES: They are a tough team and they'll do anything to win, but we are young and we are hungry! Right now, we have a match! Sheepherders, you'd better watch this really close!
Texas Broncos vs. Brooklyn Brawler & King Kahlua: Dustin & Kendall show what they can do here tonight. Dustin pins Kahlua after a bulldog. The Broncos look like they are ready for the Sheepherders!
We go to the interview area...
BONI: I'm here with the UWA World Tag Team Champions, Luke Williams & Butch Miller, the Sheepherders! The Badstreet match didn't go your way...
BUTCH: Typical Yank! Bringing up an unpleasant topic of conversation!
LUKE: What do ya expect, cousin? This is called the US bloody A Network!
BUTCH: It was all our bloody nephew's fault! We sent Rip back home after he disappointed us!
LUKE: Bloody disappointment, he was!
BONI: In two weeks, you have a title defense against a great young team, the Texas Broncos!
LUKE: Texas is famous for steers and....
BONI:Please this is a family show!
BUTCH: You bloody Yank parents better not let the kiddies watch us against the bloody Broncos, because it may not be fit for television!
LUKE: parental discretion advised, cousin! Ha ha ha!
BUTCH: We got a match against two pathetic looking Yanks right now, but an old mate of ours from South Africa is standing by! I'm sure he would chat with ya!
BONI: Of course, you are speaking of Colonel DeBeers!
DeBeers walks out, the Sheepherders shake hands with him before marching toward the ring!
BONI: Welcome to UWA FURY, sir! You have a worldwide reputation and tonight, you are scheduled to make you UWA debut against a fantstic opponent, Pistol Pez Whatley!
DEBEERS: WHAT? I thought I had settled this with UWA President Frank Dusek! This match cannot take place! I will not allow it! DO you understand me? Just because you Ameicans have lowered your standards over the years does not mean that Colonel Debeers will do the same!
BONI: Are you afraid to wrestle Pez Whatley? Is that it?
DEBEERS: I fear nobody!My dear emptyheaded young lady, are you actually that ignorant of geopolitics? Surely, you must realize that people like me will never mix with people like Whatley! Do you understand now?
BONI (sighs): I'm afraid that I do! Let's go to the ring!
Sheepherders vs. SD “Special Delivery” Jones & George South: SD gives a good showing this week, but Luke & Butch get the duke as they hit a double gutbuster on South and Luke gets the duke!
VTR: we see the altercations between Terry Gordy and Big Van Vader at Viva Las Vegas.
MARSHALL: I hope that Captain Frank Dusek is able to sign the match that Vader suggested.
MAGNUM: I said going into the Steel Gauntlet if Vader came through it with the belt, he might never lose it! I'm having second thoughts. A Badstreet Match is Gordy's specialty and it could be a major mistake for Vader to put the title up in Gordy's own match!
“Badstreet USA” plays...
MARSHALL: Gordy and the other Freebirds are up next!
Fabulous Freebirds vs. Blue Devils I & II and CW Bergstrom: The 'Birds look unbeatable this week! Gordy pins Bergstrom after the Bamm Bamm Slam.
COMMERCIAL
Big Van Vader & Madusa Miceli vs. Tony “Hurricane” Zane & Velvet McIntyre: A rare opportunity to see the #1 male and #1 female wrestler in the world in one match. Velvet gives Madusa a stern test, but the heels win as Vader pins Zane after a Vader Bomb.
VTR:
We see the concluding moments of the Butch Reed/Buzz Sawyer portion of the Steel Gauntlet where Reed defeated the “Mad Dog” .
VTR:
Buzz Sawyer is pacing back and forth in a hallway in the dressing room area...
SAWYER: They told me that I was outta the First Family if I didn't win the Steel gauntlet! Bruce Reed, you cost me the Title! You cost me my family! Tonight, you're gonna pay!
COMMERCIAL
Hacksaw Butch Reed vs. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer: This is a short, but hard hitting brawl! Sawyer dishes out plenty of punishment, but Reed gets the pin after an overhead press slam!
BONI: I'm here with Dean Malenko. It looked like you had Eddie Gilbert's number at VIVA LAS VEGAS, but he had an ace in the hole, namely Nord the Berzerker!
MALENKO: That big gorilla, Nord, cost me the World Junior Heavyweight Title! That's why I went to the UWA and demanded a tag team match with Gilbert and Nord here tonight!
BONI: Who's your partner?
MALENKO: Somebody who really wants a piece of those two! Somebody who can fight just as dirty as they can! You'll find out after these messages!
BONI: I can't wait!
COMMERCIAL
Eddie Gilbert, Missy Hyatt, & Nord the Berzerker are in the ring! “Boy From New York City” by the Manhattan Transfer plays! Dean Malenko's partner is “Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant!
“Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & Nord the Berzerker vs. Dean Malenko & “Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant: Nord and Valiant end up brawling all over the arena as Gilbert and Malenko go at it in the ring! The heels win the bout as Missy hands hr man a foreign object that he uses to KO and pin Malenko. Valiant posts Nord, climbs into the ring, and protests to David Manning, but the ref refuses to alter the decision.
MAGNUM: I'm sure we haven't seen the end of that situation! Folks, I am excited to tell you that one of the greatest athletes I have ever known is on his way to the UWA! Watch this specila video feature.
VTR: We see a pair of bare feet running down a beach. The camera pans up and zooms out to reveal the runner is none other than KEVIN VON ERICH! “One of the Living” by Tina Turner plays. We see Kevin throw a frisbee with some kids on the beach. We see Kev showing off for some bikini clad women by doing handstands and using the iron claw to crush full beer cans and apples. We then see action footage of Kevin in action(lots of flying bodypresses, flying scissors, and applying of the claw). The last scene is Kevin in a dressing room. He shrugs on a ring jacket and heads down the hall toward the arena.
LOWRANCE: Ladies and gentlemen, from Denton County, Texas, High Flying Kevin Von Erich!!!
A graphic that says “COMING SOON!” scrolls across the bottom of the screen.
COMMERCIAL
Pistol Pez Whatley makes a babyface entrance, high fiving as many fans as he can get to. He enetrs the ring and waits....and waits...finally, Colonel DeBeers slowly makes his way to the ring. The South African climbs onto the ring apron and asks Lowrance for the ring mic...
DEBEERS: Due to my personal, political, and sociolaogical beliefs, I have informed the UWA that this match will not take place!
Whatley can't believe it! Butch Reed enters the ring and stands by his friend! Reed gets the mic from Lowrance...
REED: This is all about color! Not black or white, don't let this idiot fool ya! The color causing the problem is yellow! If Colonel DeBeers takes that jacket off, you'll see a streak of his favorite color, yellow, running down his back!
PEZ: Hey, you don't wanna wrestle me, one on one? That's okay! I have a solution to this pollution, Butch! Earlier on, I saw you palling around with the Sheepherders! They took on my buddy SD Jones tonight, so I guess they don't worry about wrestling people who look like Butch and myself! Next week, you bring them down and I'll bring a friend of mine! I talked to him the other day and he said that if I ever needed him, He'd be here on the next thing smokin! He's even the right skin tone for you! So, that's the challenge for next week, Hacksaw, the Pistol, and my buddy against you and the Sheepherders!
The Sheepherders come to the ringside! It looks like they are encouraging DeBeers to accept Pez's challenge! DeBeers is nodding! It's on!
PEZ: I'm warning you, Colonel, my friend is going upside your head! You and those geeks buddies of yours better be ready for a fight! (DeBeers and the Sheeps leave) There they go, the Colonel and his prize chickens!
MAGNUM: Next week will be a great show! Don't miss it!
