Boni Blackstone is standing by in the interview area...
BONI: I'm joined by the new UWA TV Champion, “Gentleman” Chris Adams. Congratulations, Chris!
ADAMS: Thank you very much! Buzz Sawyer is a great athlete and a very tough wrestler! I feel very proud to have beaten him for this championship! At VIVA LAS VEGAS, I have an even bigger opportunity-I'm in the Steel Gauntlet for the Undisputed World Title! I'm really happy here in the UWA and I'm excited about my future here!
BONI: Buzz Sawyer is also in the Steel Gauntlet match! He'll probably be gunning for you!
ADAMS: That's ok with me! I'm not afraid of him and I've proven I can beat him! There will be 8 of the best in the world in that cage, including the Champion Big Van Vader! I'm very confident and I think I have a good chance of leaving Vegas as your World Champion!
BONI: Best of luck at VIVA LAS VEGAS, Chris! That's on pay per view on Labor Day at 8 PM, live from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas! You don't want to miss it, wrestling fans!
“Hangman” Bobby Jaggers (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) vs. Jose Luis Rivera: Jose has his moments, but the veteran Jaggers gets the duke after a neckbreaker. Magnum says Jaggers is a great asset for the House of Humperdink.

Johnny Ace & the Nasty Boys (w/”Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert) vs. Mike Miller, Nick Kiniski, & Lou Fabiano: The First Family team looks strong here tonight. Ace hits an Ace Cutter on Fabiano, then tags in Sags, who drops and elbow onto Fbiano for the 1-2-3! As the bout ends, Cactus Jack shows up at ringside!
CACTUS: Congrats, Hot Stuff! Your guys look great! Johnny, you think you've got a great tag team there, don'tcha? Well, I have some friends who I think are a great tag team, too!
Kendall Windham & Dustin Rhodes, the Texas Broncos, come out and stand by Jack!
GILBERT: Cactus Jack, you reject, what do you want?
CACTUS: I'm talking to my sparring partner, Johnny Ace! Why don't you keep your big mouth shut, Gilbert? But since you asked, I'm challenging your trio of geeks to a six man at VIVA LAS VEGAS! Ace and the Nasty Boys against the Broncos and Catus Jack! How about that?
GILBERT: Jack, the only reason you're here is because I made you a name wrestler! Those punks you're with are here because of their last names! Johnny Ace is a finely tuned athlete and the hottest young talent in professional wrestling! The Nasty Boys are the toughest tag team in the sport today! We accept your grandstand challenge! You'll be sorry you ever laid eyes on the First Family!
MARSHALL: VIA LAS VEGAS just got even biggr and better!
MAGNUM: I didn't think that was even possible!

With “War Machine” by KISS blasting, Sir Oliver Humperdink leads the huge Master of Pain to the ring! The Master will be in the Steel Gauntlet and a guy like this could do some serious damage in a match like that!
Master of Pain (w/Sir Oliver Humperdink) vs. Kerry Brown: Brown is a rugged veteran, but he's overmatched tonight! Master nails Brown with a heart punch to score the pin! Brown is stretchered out afterwards! Magnum says that's a scary sight!
COMMERCIAL
Madusa Miceli vs. Kat LeRoux: Madusa takes a break from seconding World Champion Vader to do what she does best. This is a hard fought contest. Madusa gets the pin with a German suplex. Vader does not make an appearance.
VTR:

BONI: Seven names have been announced for the Steel Gauntlet at VIVA LAS VEGAS! The 8th name will be determined by a qualifying match between Big John Studd and my guest at this time, Hacksaw Butch Reed! Last week, Oliver Humperdink seemed really angry that his man had to wrestle you for the right to enter the Steel Gauntlet. You seemed to be satisfied with that!
REED: Boni, I have fought for everything I've ever had! It doesn't bother me to earn my spot! I've proven I can bodyslam Studd! I know I can beat him! I honestly think I can beat Vader for his title, too! There are 8 of the toughest men going today scheduled to be in that steel cage! It won't be easy! I've got confidence that I can do it! I honestly believe that I'll be Undisputed World Champion the next night!
BONI: A very confident Butch Reed! Dean Malenko will also have the chance of a lifetime at VIVA LAS VEGAS! He's in the ring right now!
Dean Malenko vs. Max Blue: Malenko has a UWA Junior Heavyweight Title Match against Eddie Gilbert on the PPV. He looks great on his tuneup match this week. Malenko puts on a clinic and gets a submission win via the Texas Cloverleaf.

“Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert(w/Missy Hyatt) vs. Joe Savoldi: An excellent match between two second generation wrestlers. Despite Savoldi's best efforts, Gilbert hits the Hot Shot and gets the pinfall win.
Gilbert and Hyatt join Boni afterwards.
BONI: I'm here with the World Junior Heavyweight Champion and leader of the First Family and the First Lady of professional wrestling! Eddie, Dean Malenko looks like he's ready for you!
GILBERT: Look, I could run Dean down and say he's a second rate wrestler, but everybody know it would be a lie! He's an excellent scientific wrestler and anybody could see that! But I'm the best! I am the World Junior Heavyweight Champion! He's good, but I'm better!VIVA LAS VEGAS will be the First Family's night! Buzz will win the Steel Gauntlet and win the World Title! Ron Bass will beat Terry Funk in the Texas Death match! Johnny and the Nasty Boys will beat that traitor Cactus jack and those punks, the Texas Broncos! I'll retain my belt! Missy will be looking like a milluion bucks and after we all win our matches, we're gonna paint Sin City red!
MISSY: I can't wait! We're gonna have sooooo much fun! Boni, I know you'll be sitting in your hotel room, drinking cheap wine and reading a Harlequin romance novel! But we'll be having the time of our lives!
GILBERT: That's right, baby!
Scott Steiner vs. Joel Deaton: Another Steel Gauntelt participant picks up an impressive victory. Steiner hits a frankensteiner for the win! Magnum says Scott could be our next World champ!

AMERICAN TITLE MATCH: 30 MINUTE TIME LIMIT: “Universal Heartthrob” Austin Idol © vs. Tito Santana: Both men use the figure four, so it's no surprise that they each attempt to work the leg and set up for that hold. After about 12 minutes of action, Idol attempts to apply the las Vegas Leglock, but Tito kicks him off! Unfortunately, the momentum sneds Idol headfirst into referee David Manning! Both Idol and Manning go flying to the floor!
Manning got the worst of it and has a tough time getting up. Idol fared better- Austin grabs his title belt and re-enters the ring! Idol surprisingly throws his belt at Tito! An unsuspecting Santana bobbles the belt for a few seconds, but finally gets ahold of it. Then, Idol takes a huge bump and lands on his back in the middle of the ring! This happens just as David Manning gets back to his feet! Manning sees Santana holding the belt and Idol laid out after taking a bump and calls for the bell! Manning takes the belt from Tito, lays it on Idol's chest and raises the “unconscious” Idol's hand in victory! The champion retains by disqualification! Magnum says he can't believe Idol would pull such a cheap stunt! Marshall says we haven't heard the last of this! As Idol leaves, he points to his forehead as if to indicate that he outsmarted everybody and mouths the word “suckers”!
Next Week:

An international star will make his first UWA FURY appearance!
The Funks vs. Buzz Sawyer & Nord the Berzerker!!!
