IDOL: Once again, your American Champion defends his prestigous belt against a top challenger in Tito Santana! This time with a longer time limit! Bigger and better! New and improved!
Tito Santana, I won't atke anything away from you, amigo! You are one of the best! But you are not the American Champion! You are not Austin Idol! You are not the ladies' pet and the men's regret!
VTR:
Tito Santana stands in the locker room.
TITO: Another shot at the American title here on UWA FURY! Austin Idol, last time, I thought I had you beat! Time ran out before I could put you away! Second chances don't come along too often! When I do get a second chance, I don't let it pass me by! I'm gonna give it everything I've got! I plan on walking out as the new American Heavyweight Champion! ARRIBA!

Two impressive young athletes stand ready in the ring. “Thriller” by Michael jackson plays and Downtown Bruno strolls to the ring, followed by his team of Jack Victory and John Tatum!
The Hollywood Heartbreakers (w/Downtown Bruno) vs. Ricky Vaughn & Mark Starr: Frank Dusek joins Magnum and Lee on commentary. Lee announces that Badd Company has fired Bruno as their manager and demanded a match against the Heartbreakers at VIVA LAS VEGAS on 9/5, only on PPV! Dusek says he has granted Diamond & Tanaka their request! The Heartbreakers hit a double team gourd buster on Starr to set up the pin. Magnum says that will be a great tag team matchup!

Badd Company vs. Joey Maggs & Keith Eric: Pat Tanaka & Paul Diamond are on their own now and they look fantastic! Bruno joins the commentary team. Bruno says he fired Badd Company and the Heartbreakers were the ones who demanded the upcoming match!Regardless, Tanaka pins Eric after he and Diamond hit a double superkick.

BONI: I am honored to by joined by the President of the UWA, Captain Frank Dusek! I understand you have more details about VIVA LAS VEGAS, airing live on pay per view from the Thomas & Mack Center in Vegas, September 5th at 8 PM!
DUSEK: That's right, Boni! Last week, I told you about this amazing match where Big Van Vader will defend the Undisputed World Title against 7 top contenders in a STEEL CAGE! It's the STEEL GAUNTLET and it will be incredible! Lat week, I announced three of the contenders-”Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer, Gentleman Chris Adams, and Puerto Rico's Carlos Colon! Tonight, I can announce Scott Steiner, the amazing young athlete out of the University of Michigan will also participate! Earlier tonight, I announced that Downtown Bruno's former team, Badd Company will take on Brunos' new team, The Hollywood Heartbreakers! The Badstreet Match will take place as the Freebirds will collide with the Sheepherders and Rip Morgan! Also, I am pleased to announce that “The Legend” Terry Funk will wrestle Outlaw Ron Bass
in a Texas Death Match!In a rematch from our last pay per view, UWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert defends against a phenomenal challenger, Dean Malenko!
BONI: That sounds like the greatest pay per view ever!
DUSEK: I think you could be right, Boni! And we're still working to add even more matches! Fans in the Las Vegas area, call Ticketmaster first thing in the morning! If you're anywhere else, contact your local cable provider ASAP!

Hacksaw Butch Reed & Pistol Pez Whatley vs. Pat Rose & Vince Apollo: Reed and Whatley both could be under consideration for a slot in the Steel Gauntlet. They certainly impress the fans tonight! Whatley pins Rose after a superplex.

BONI: I am here with Sir Oliver Humperdink. I understand you're debuting a new House of Humperdink member here on UWA FURY tonight!
HUMPERDINK: I am proud of the incredible collection of talent in the House of Humperdink! I have the Master of Pain! I have the Great Kabuki! I have the one true giant of wrestling, Big John Studd, who will once again show his generosity by putting up 10 grand in his bodyslam challenge! Look at my latest find! This is Hangman Bobby Jaggers! The Hangman has held championships everywhere he has gone! They don't come any tougher than this man! The House of Humperdink is happy to welcome this incredible wrestler!
JAGGERS: Awww, Sir Oliver, you only say that 'cause it's true! I wanna put everybody in the UWA on notice! Santana! Funks! Reed! Whatley! Steiner! I'm ready for any of'em! I'm here to make money, win belts, and bust heads!
HUMPERDINK: and all of you ham n' eggers in TV Land get to see him wrestle tonight!

MAGNUM: One of the participants in the Steel gauntlet match is a national hero down in Puerto Rico! Here's a special look at the Caribbean Champion, Carlos Colon!
VTR: A music video set to “No Easy Way Out” from the Rocky IV soundtrack featuring in ring highlights of Colon. We get to see Carlos in control against Bruiser Brody, Harley Race, Abdullah the Butcher, and Ric Flair! The video makes the Puerto Rican superstar look like a world beater!

MALENKO: There are a lot of big mouth braggarts in professional wrestling. I'm not one of'em! I let my wrestling speak for itself! The last time I stepped in a ring with Eddie Gilbert, I came close to winning his title! He even shook my hand after the match! Now, at VIVA LAS VEGAS, I get a second chance! I've been working out like never before! I want the title more than I've ever wanted anything! Gilbert, you bring your woman and your flashy ring gear, and your cocky attitude! I'll bring all the skills my father taught me as well as my heart and soul! I like my chances!
“Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (w/Missy Hyatt) vs. Paul Garner: The UWA Junior Heavyweight Champion competes in non-title action. Magnum TA predicts that Dean Malenko will win the UWA Junior Heavyweight Title on 9/5! In spite of TA's lack of confidence in him, Gilbert makes Missy very happy as he dominates the action and pins Garner after a DDT!

Big John Studd steps over the top rope and enters the ring! Sir Oliver Humperdink has a microphone!
HUMPERDINK: IT is time for the $10,000.00 Bodyslam Challenge! If anybody and I mean ANYBODY, can bodyslam the 6'10, 365 pound Big John Studd in the middle of the ring, we will present that lucky person with 10 grand, Yankee dollars! Do I have any takers?
A fit looking young man dressed in sweats jogs to the ring.
HUMPERDINK: Ok, what do you call yourself and where are you from?
CHALLENGER I: I'm CW Bergstrom and I'm from Portland!(crowd roars)
HUMPERDINK: Here's your chance, young man! Give it your best shot!
Bergstron gives it all he's got, but can't get the massive Studd up! CW leaves shaking his head!
HUMPERDINK: OK, who's up next?
A middle aged man, dressed like he works in an office somehere, enters the ring.
HUMPERDINK: Tell us who you are...
CHALLENGER II: Sir, my name is Dr. Paul Christy! I intend to use the knowledge I have acquired over my years in the medical field to win this challenge!
HUMPERDINK: OK, good lcuk to you, doc!
Christy gives it his dead level best, but doesn't manage to budge the massive Studd! Big John has a big smile on his face!
STUDD: This can't be the best Oregon can offer! Come on! Anybody! Truck drivers! Football players! Construction workers! Weight lifters! Anybody!
A well built young man wearing wrestling gear enters the ring.
HUMPERDINK: What is your name, kid?
CHALLENGER III: Frankie the Thumper!
HUMPERDINK: Watch out, John, he looks stout!
The Thumper gives the best effort we've seen thus far tonight, but can't quite get it done!
HUMPERDINK: Well, the Northwest comes up short! Looks like we're keeping the money, John!
LOOK OUT! Here comes Hacksaw Butch Reed! He and Studd have had issues in the past and Reed actually slammed Studd once!
REED: OK, Studd, give me a chance! That's all I want- one chance!
HUMPERDINK: NO! That's all for tonight!
STUDD: It's ok, Ollie, I'll take him on!
Studd and Reed are slugging it out! Reed lifts Studd and dumps him over the top rope! Humperdink leaves the ring, grabs Studd and leads him out of the arena! Reed is stmping the mat and gesturing for Studd to come back to the ring, but Studd and Humperdink get outta Dodge!

As “Badstreet USA” blasts throughout the Sports Arena, the Freebirds arrive!
The Fabulous Freebirds vs. Top Gun, Chris Colt, & Iron Mike Sharpe: With the Badstreet Match against the Sheepherders right around the corner, the 'Birds look really tough tonight. Gordy puts the masked Top Gun away after a Bamm Bamm Slam. Then, the Badstreet Gabg joins Boni!
BONI: You guys look ready for anything, including the Sheepherders and Rip Morgan!
HAYES: Look at my man, Bamm Bamm! 285 pounds of graveyard destruction! Look at Buddy Jack! It don't matter what those geeks throw at Buddy, he'll be ready for it! I was raised fighting on the streets! I'd fight a buzzsaw and spot it the first two rounds! Sheepherders, do you realize this is come as you are? Do you realize that there's no time limit or DQ? Do you realize that there's no stopping for blood or any other reason? Do you freaks have any idea what you've got yourselves into? If you have a weak heart, ask your doctor if it's ok to watch this match! If you faint at the sight of blood, have aomebody standing by to catch you! When we're done with you Sheepherders, you'll be looking for a boat back to New Zealand!
GORDY: I've had some people say, “Terry, you ought to try to git into the Steel Gauntlet and win that title!” No! My brothers need me! This match with the Sheepherders is gonna git all of my attention! There will be plenty of time for Van Vader after we take care of the Sheepherders!
ROBERTS: Badstreet match! I can take off a cowboy boot and bash somebody's skull in! I can swing a chair! I can use a chain! Brass knucks! Bricks, sticks, or baseball bats! The Freebirds are gonna pull out all the stops! If you gotta borrow money to get this pay per view, borrow money! Break the piggy bank open like we're gonna brak that gorilla Rip Morgan open!
HAYES: I'm glad you mentioned cowboy boots, Buddy! I think I've found a good location for a boot shop and at Viva Las Vegas, we might have a grabnd opening! Can you imagine how the Freebirds can party in Vegas? Imagine the victory celebration, Boni baby!
BONI: Wow! Don't miss VIVA LAS VEGAS!
Scott Steiner vs. George South: Scott celebrates his addition to the Steel Gauntlet by scoring a convincing TV win! Scott puts South away after a pair of belly to belly suplexes.

AMERICAN TITLE MATCH: “Universal Heartthrob” Austin Idol © vs. Tito Santana: The UWA has given these two warriors 15 minutes instead of ten tonight. Idol is now wrestling as an all out heel, but it doesn't do much good as Tito dominates the action! Santana hits the flying forearm and goes for the pin! One...Two...Thr....Idol gets his foot on the bottom rope! Tito drags Idol to the center of the ring and applies the figure four! Austin is in agony, but he refuses to submit! The bell rings! Awww, no way! 15 minutes wasn't enough timefor these two!Another sister kissing!Time limit draw! Magnum suggest that next time, the UWA dedicate the entire 90 minutes to this match if necessary!
