World Heavyweight ChampionshipEliminator: Quarter Finalsl
Johnny Saint vs. Dave Taylor
Frank Andersson vs. Giant Haystacks
Mil Mascaras vs. Adrian Street
Otto Wanz vs. Dave ‘Fit’ Finlay
1) Johnny Saint advanced over Dave Taylor in a battle between old rivals. Taylor is still feeling his lumps over last night’s tag team tournament, where he was dropped on his back and head numerous times by new World Tag Team Champions Hashimikov and Zangiev. Here, Saint steps over an arm-bar and cradles Taylor, but Taylor steps through and reverses Saint into a cradle of his own for a surprise pin!.
2) Swedish Olympian Frank Andersson pulled off a massive upset by beating Giant Haystacks by count-out to advance. Andersson realized that even with his incredible power, he wasn’t going to be able to match the sheer size of Haystacks. He finally lured Haystacks out to the floor and threw him into the rail as the count neared 20. Andersson raced back to the ring to beat the count while Haystacks angrily realized he’d been beat.
3) Much like the previous night, Street and Mascaras had a wild brawl that could hardly be compared to the junior heavyweight action on night 1 or the suplex exhibition on night 2. However, Mascaras did prevail as he blocked attempts for Street to pull off his mask and landed a huge jumping headbutt for the pin. Street attacked Mascaras after the back with a chair and left him laying. Mascaras had to be helped away.
4) Dave ‘Fit’ Finlay bumped like a maniac for Otto Wanz to close out the quarter finals. Finlay didn’t back down from the much larger opponent, as he used chokes and questionably strikes to take advantage on a few occasions. However, Wanz eventually avalanched Finlay in the corner to advance to the semi-finals.

Exhibition Match: EWU World Tag Team Champions Salman Hashimikov and Victor Zangiev defeated Curtis Hughes and Pierre Carl Oulette in a non-title contest when Zangiev pinned Oulette with a belly-to-back suplex bridged into a pinning combination. The Russian Team seem to have earned the respect of the Bremen audience over the last two nights, after an initially chilly response.
World Heavyweight ChampionshipEliminator: Semi Finalsl
Dave Taylor vs. Frank Andersson
Mil Mascaras vs. Otto Wan
1) A very unusual styles clash had Dave Taylor battling the Olympian, Frank Andersson. Taylor passed Hashimikov and Zangiev on his way to the ring and there was a tense moment following last night’s tag finals. In this match, Taylor showed more outright villainous tactics, as he realized he’d need to do anything he could to eliminate Andersson’s amateur skills. Taylor manage to choke Andersson with a tag rope in the corner until ordered to stop by the official but as he argued with the referee, Andersson shook it off and took him down with an overhead drop to get a huge win! The success story of the night has to be Frank Andersson debuting in the professional ranks to make it to the finals.
2) In a match of legends, Otto Wanz and Mil Mascaras started off with handshake and spend the match exchanging mostly chops and strikes. Mascaras was clearly in pain, having shown up with his ribs heavily bandaged after the attack with a chair by A drian Street in the last round. Mascaras is eventually knocked out the apron and the ringside doctor rules the he simply cannot continue the match. Wanz steps in to help Mascaras up and leads cheers for the legend from Mexico as he is helped from the ring.
In the finals, it will be ‘The Olympian’ Frank Andersson battle ‘Big’ Otto Wanz for the World Heavyweight Championship!
Interval
Robbie Brookside and Doc Dean defeated Flying Scorpio and Sabu in a fast-paced contest when Brookside pinned Scorpio with a flying cross-body. Steven Regal was supposed to be Brookside’s partner but he wasn’t cleared to compete following an attack by Black Tiger two nights ago.
World Heavyweight ChampionshipEliminator: Finalsl
‘Big’ Otto Wanz became the new World Heavyweight Champion in a battle of the giants against Frank Andersson when he caught the Olympian in the corner with a cqnnonball splash. The match set up Andersson as a crossover superstar in the promotion as he initially kicked out of a cannonball and later appeared to have won the match with a German suplex on the massive Wanz, only to discovery Otto’s right foot was under the bottom rope during the pin. As the match continued, Andersson finally fell victim to a second cannonball splash and was beaten by the Austrian legend.
Orig Williams and Lord Alfred Hayes presented Otto Wanz with the World Heavyweight Championship belt after the match. Wanz made an effort to raise Frank Andersson’’s arm high in the air and encourage the Bremen to clap for his young opponent. As Lord Alfred approached with the microphone to congratulate Otto, Andersson surprised Otto by saying he respected him and was requesting a rematch at the first opportunity. Lord Alfred and Orig Williams were taken aback, but Otto Wanz nodded “yes” and told Andersson he’s on. The two shook hands and then Andersson bowed out.
The night featured World Tag Team Champions Salman Hashimikov and Victor Zangiev coming back out to pose for press photos with new World Heavyweight Champion Otto Wanz.
