The announcing team of Les Thatcher & Rick Srewart kick off todays show with new IWF Commissioner 'Cowboy' Bill Watts with a special announcement. Watts says the former comm Jim Barnett has retired & he was asked to take over the duties. Watts adds that a lot of things have been going on in the IWF & he will be keeping a close eye on everything going on.
Today's show will be highlighted by an interview with manager Rock Hunter of the Hunter Organization. Joining Mr. Hunter are the World Tag Team Champions Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel, World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Joe Malenko w/valet Fallen Angel & the Iron Sheik. Hunter vows to get even with Bob Backlund & Ken Patera. Hunter is offering a $50,000 bounty on each man. He warns all challengers that the Hunter Organization is taking no prisoners.
