BADD Company (w/Downtown Bruno) vs. the Batten Twins: This is an exciting, fast paced match that sees both teams get some good offense in. Badd Co. wins as Pat Tanaka pins Brad Batten after a double superkick. After the match, Bruno attempted to raise Tanaka and Diamond's hands, but they pulled away from him and stalked over to the interview area!
BONI: I am here with BADD Company and their manager, Downtown Bruno. There seems to be some problems in your organization, Bruno...
BRUNO: Paul, Patrick, what's up with you guys? Something wrong?
TANAKA: We're the ones who should be asking those questions, Bruno! It wasn't long ago that you said we were your “one and only”! Now, you're talking about Tatum and Victory, the Hollywood Dolls or whatever you call them...
BRUNO: Hollywood Heartbreakers, baby!
DIAMOND: It doesn't matter what those goofballs call themselves! You said we were the tag team in the Downtown Connection, Bruno! Now, we're thrown in the gutter like last week's garbage! Why should we accept that?
BRUNO: No! No! You boys have it all wrong! You guys are good, too!
TANAKA: Oh, we're good, too? I see how it is!
BADD Company walks away angrily!
BRUNO: Hey, guys! Hold up! I can explain! We can work it out! (sighs) Oh, well. Like Mama says, it bes dat way sometimes!
BONI: Tito Santana is in action next!
COMMERCIAL
Tito Santana vs. D.I. Bob Carter: The veteran from Tocula, Mexico faces the rugged former Marine from Paris Island, SC! Carter takes it right to Tito! Magnum says that Austin Idol is lucky that last week's American Title match only had a 10 minute time limit or Tito could very well be our American Champion. Despite Carter's strong effort, Tito hits the flying forearm and gets the 1-2-3! Magnum says that Tito should petition Frank Dusek for a rematch with a longer time limit!

The Masked Nightmares are in the ring, Downtown Bruno enters the ring and takes the mic from Mark Lowrance...
BRUNO: Ladies and gentle...who am I kidding? Food stamp lickers and welfare queens.... please welcome the greatest tag team in the world today! Hollywood John Tatum and the New Jersey Heartbreaker Jack Victory...the Hollywood Heartbreakers! Boys, if your wives wanna leave ya after this, don't say I didn't warn you!
The Hollywood Heartbreakers (w/Downtown Bruno) vs. the Masked Nightmares: The Heartbreakers are wearing matching gear and they wrestle like a well oiled machine against a very capable, but undersized Nightmares team. Tatum pins Nightmare #2 after he and Victory hits a double team version of the gourdbuster.
The Italian Stallion is warming up in the ring as Eddie Gilbert leads Outlaw Ron Bass to the ring. RinG announcer mark Lowrance introduces the Stallion. Gilbert gets in Lowrance's face. Mark lowers the mic, but we can still hear what Gilbert says...
GILBERT: Introduce Ron Bass as the greatest wrestler in the history of Texas!
LOWRANCE: Eddie, you know that I'm from Texas, too. My conscience won't allow me to say that!
Gilbert grabs Lowrance by the lapels of his jacket!
GILBERT: You do as you're told, you skinny jerk!
Ron Bass is in Lowrance's face!
BASS: You'd better listen to Hot Stuff! Do as you're told, boy!
Look out! Terry & Dory Funk hit the ring! They pull Lowrance out of Gilbert's grip and pat him on the back.
TERRY: You guys wanna fight? Why don't you leave this guy alone!
DORY: He looks more like a basketball player than a wrestler to me!
TERRY: We'll take you two on if you have the guts!
Italian Stallion leaves the ring! Looks like we have an unscheduled tag match!
“The Legend” Terry Funk & Dory Funk, Jr. vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & Outlaw Ron Bass: Bass carries most of the load for the heels as Gilbert seems to be saving himself for his upcoming title defense. Eventually, the match breaks down into a pier six brawl and both teams are DQ'd. The Funks are standing tall in the end!

Oliver Humperdink stands in the ring with Mark Lowrance.
LOWRANCE: Sir Oliver Humperdink can you explain what is about to happen?
HUMPERDINK: I have the privilege to manage the one true giant of professional wrestling. He stands nearly 7 feet tall and weighs nearly 400 pounds! Of course, I refer to Big John Studd! It is our contention that no human being can slam Big John here in the center of the ring! (holds up a duffle bag) This bag contains 10,000 American dollars! I will present to any human being who can slam Studd in the middle of the ring!
LOWRANCE: We saw Butch Reed slam Studd not long ago...
HUMPERDINK: It did not occur in the center of the ring! Try to listen to me when I speak! Now, without any further ado....BIG...JOHN...STUDD!!!
Studd strolls down to the ring, steps over the top rope, and glares at the crowd.
HUMPERDINK: Do we have any takers? Any intestinal fortitude in the Showboat?
A young man in sweat pants and a tank top enters the ring!
HUMPERDINK: What's your name, son?
YOUNG MAN: Manny Vialobos, sir.
HUMPERDINK: You honestly think you can slam Big John Studd, kid?
MANNY: I could sure use the money, Mr. Humperdink!
HUMPERDINK: Have at it!
Vialobos is dwarfed by Studd. He gives it his all, but really doesn't even budge Studd!
HUMPERDINK: Not even close! Thanks for joining us.... NEXT!
We all know this next guy! That's Steve Simpson!
HUMPERDINK: Well, well, well! If it isn't Steve Simpson from South Africa!
SIMPSON: I'll give it a shot!
STUDD: Give it your best shot, little man!
Simpson does better than Vialobos, but can't quite get it done!
HUMPERDINK: Not hardly! Give your old man and little brother my best, punk!
Simpson is obviously disappointed, he leaves with his head hung.
HUMPERDINK: Don't leave mad, just leave! Anybody else! Wow, look at this guy!
A very muscular man with long blonde hair climbs into the ring!
HUMPERDINK: And you are?
MAN: I am known as Mr. Magnificent!
Mr. Magnificent goes into a posing routine while Studd and Humperdink ridicule him. Magnificent goes for it! The powerfully built young man manages to get Studd off his feet briefly, but can't lift him into a slam position.
HUMPERDINK: So close, yet so far! Nice try, punk! Hit the bricks!
Mr. Magnificent stalks away as Humperdink raises Studd's arm!
HUMPERDINK: We'll be giving people across the nation a chance at the ten grand wherever the UWA goes on tour! Pro wrestlers, football players, weightlifters, bodybuilders, construction workers, or anybody else who thinks they are strong!
STUDD: Where's Scott Steiner? Where's Van Vader? Where's Terry Gordy! Bring it on!
LOWRANCE: How about Hacksaw Butch Reed?
STUDD: Especially Butch Reed!
LOWRANCE: Dustin Rhodes will take on Johnny Ace when we return!
COMMERCIAL
Dustin Rhodes vs. Johnny Ace (w/”Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & Missy Hyatt): Two rising stars in a hard hitting, evenly matched contest. After about five minutes of action, Cactus jack shows up at ringside. This leads to brawl with Catus and Dustin duking it out with Gilbert and Ace! Referee Scott LeDoux has no choice, but to throw the match out, calling it a double DQ! Ron bas runs in for the First Family! Terry Funk follows right behind him! This is an all out war! It takes most of the wrestlers in the dressing room to break up this melee!
COMMERCIAL
Killer Bees vs. Nasty Boys (w/Eddie Gilbert & Missy Hyatt): Knobbs and Sags jump the Bees at the bell! The Nastys set the tone and make this match an all out brawl! This favors the heels, of course. The turning point comes when the Nastys toss Blair and Brunzell to the floor. The Bees go get their ring jackets and pull something out of the jacket pockets...masks! The Bees mask up and they're suddenly identical! The Nastys are completely confused by this. The Bees have bamboozled the heels and Blair(?) pins Knobbs after a sunset flip off the top rope. Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt are throwing a hisy fit! David Manning informs them that nothing illegal as occurred...Killer Bees win!
COMMERCIAL
UWA JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (w/Missy Hyatt) vs. Mike Graham: Magnum TA says that Gilbert has spread himself too thin with First Family business and predicts a new champion! Magnum looks like a prophet for most of the match as the veteran Graham takes it to Hot Stuff! Gilbert does manage to retain as he pins Graham after a hot shot. This was an excellent match.

MARSHALL: Last week, immediately following the American Title match between Austin Idol and Tito Santana, Tito had these remarks...
VTR:
We see a sweaty Santana in the locker room area...
TITO: Austin Idol, I never said you weren't a great wrestler and a great champion! I will say this: I had you beat! Time wasn't on my side, Idol! That's why I am requesting a rematch with a longer time limit! Not much longer-five minutes should take care of it! Frank Dusek, if you see this, please, I don't think this is asking too much! If I do get a rematch, I'll fight with everything I've got to win that championship! ARRIBA!
Boni Blackstone is standing by...
BONI: I am joined by UWA President Captain Fraqnk Dusek. Captain, Tito has made his request...
DUSEK: It hasn't fallen on deaf ears, Boni Blackstone! Two weeks from tonight, here on UWA FURY, There will be a rematch for the American Title and I promise you that there won't be a 10 minute time limit! You may also notice that the Sheepherders and Rip Morgan and the Fabulous Freebirds are conspicuous by their absence tonight. After the altercation last week, both teams were suspended for one week! The Sheepherders are scheduled for a mandatory title defense on UWA FURY next week and the Freebirds are scheduled to wrestle in two weeks, so for fans of those two great teams, don't worry, you'll see them very soon! Also, next week, I'll explain the concept of the STEEL GAUNTLET, that amazing event that will headline VIVA LAS VEGAS, live on pay per view on September 5!I'll try to have some other matches to announce for VIVA LAS VEGAS as well!
BONI: We have a TV Title match up next!
Jimmy Valiant is in the ring, dancing and clapping his hands! Missy Hyatt leads the TV Champion to the ring by his dog chain!
UWA TV TITLE MATCH: “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer © (w/Missy Hyatt) vs. “Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant: It doesn't take long for this match to degenerate into an all out street fight! These two wild men fight all over the showroom as fans scatter! Referee David Manning has no recourse but to issue a double countout! Missy hands Sawyer her Gucci bag, but Valiant takes it and bashes the Mad Dog over the head, busting him open, leading Magnum to wonder out loud what Missy is packing in there! The Nasty Boys run out to assist Sawyer, but that brings out the Killer Bees! Johnny Ace and Eddie Gilbert jump in, but so do Cactsu Jack and Dustin Rhodes! Folks, we have a gang fight on the floor of the Showboat! We'll see you next week here on UWA FURY!!!
