“That’s right Lance Russell and now that Terry Taylor is the #1 contender to wrestle Dusty Rhodes for the world title, I see this as my foot in the door- to enter the conversation for the biggest prize in wrestling: the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!

We take you to the DUSTY RHODES-TERRY TAYLOR CONTRACT SIGNING.It takes place in a hotel conference room, with a podium. The world champion Dusty Rhodes sits camera left with the world title belt and Baby Doll to his right and seconded by Wahoo McDaniel. Terry Taylor sits camera right with the US title, seconded by Buddy Landell to his left.
President Ole Anderson addresses the media, as flash bulbs light up the room and reminds everyone that these men will wrestle for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Great American Bash July 4 live on pay per view and closed circuit and relays the 800 number hotline where fans can buy tickets, order the pay per view, or buy tickets for the closed circuit broadcasts. He then produces a booklet with the contract, and asks both men to sign, Taylor signs first, then Dusty.
Ole asks Terry, as challenger, to take the podium first.
Taylor is dressed to the nines in sunglasses: “In the history of this world championship, I cannot think of a MORE qualified challenger than me. Former World Wrestling Union world heavyweight champion . . . . current United States Heavyweight champion . . . . I just beat the great Jerry Lawler, the former world heavyweight champion.
“American Dream Dusty Rhodes, SIR, I have done not just everything asked but that and more to earn this title shot at the Bash on July 4. I’m younger than you, I’m smarter than you, and I’m in better shape. Don’t get me wrong, Mr. Rhodes, you are a legend. But at some point, a farmer knows when it’s time to put the horse to the glue factory, when it’s time to send the cow to the slaughterhouse, and when it’s time to make the pig into bacon. That’s exactly what going to happen July 4, SIR, and back on the farm the Rooster will be the NEW RULER OF THE BIGGEST HEN HOUSE OF THEM ALL: THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!
Taylor sits and Dusty takes the podium. Dusty is waiting a big black cowboy hat and a suit. He wears sunglasses.
Dusty: “Terry Taylor, everything you said is true. I AM the American Dream, I AM the Legend, and YOU son bring the best resume for a world champion I can remember in recent memory.
Terry leans into his mike: “I’m not your son.
Dusty: “SON, be quiet and listen, if you will! You might learn something.
Terry is irritated!
Dusty: “You may be right, Rooster. Maybe it is time for this old cow to be cut wide open. But here’s the thing Terry Taylor, for that to happen . . YOU GOTTA BE DOING THE CUTTIN’ SON, because I will defend this world title as long as there is only drop of blood in my body, one last breath in my lungs, one last wobble of my legs, and I know you like to fight dirty Terry Taylor well you are entering the ring with the DIRTIEST PLAYER IN THE GAME!
“I remember as a little boy my father’s boss cut his salary and he couldn’t pay the bills. Terry Taylor you’d be better off burning down my home, stealing my car, and kicking my dog because that is EXACTLY what you are doing in Charlotte: taking away my livelihood and respect, just like they did to my Daddy all of them years ago, except unlike my Daddy, I CAN FIGHT YOU AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND THAT’S WHAT IM GONNA DO JULY 4!

Terry then yaps and points his finger into Rhodes suit! RHODES SPITS HIS GUM AT TAYLOR, WHO THEN FLIPS OFF RHODES COWBOY HAT, AND RHODES SHOVES HIM AND TAKES OFF HIS SUNGLASSES! WAHOO GRABS DUSTY AND BUDDY HOLDS BACK TERRY TAYLOR! FANS, WE MIGHT NOT HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE GREAT AMERICAN BASH----- DREAM AND THE ROOSTER WANT TO GO AT IT RIGHT NOW!

JJ: “Setting aside that I find it very suspicious Ole Anderson would order this match just 2 weeks before the Great American Bash, Owen Hart and Brian Pillman have come a long way since debuting here on TBS. I see a bright future for those two. Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard we have the world tag team title defense against Powers of Pain at the Bash, but let’s not overlook these youngsters.

Lance: “OH MY, Jimmy, look at that! Not a living thing in sight! But never mind that, I have a BIG announcement as it relates to you and Manny Fernandez, Jimmy, now get a load of this . .
Manny: “Lance? What are you doing? Can’t you see that Manny Fernandez took advantage of me and did NOT honor his stipulation? I don’t know what he put on my lawn BUT LOOK AT THESE PHOTOS! The way I see it Lance, after I spoke to another landscaper, MANNY FERNANDEZ OWES ME $20,000 TO REPLACE MY YARD!
Lance: “Now look Jimmy, I was there, and well . . . . let’s just say YOU weren’t in the greatest condition and it looks like the Ragin’ Bull got one over on you, HAHA! But now, I have bigger news, see, Manny Fernandez handed me . . .
Jimmy: “GOT OVER ON ME! That’s right, who else was there but the ANCIENT MARINER HIMSELF, YOU LANCE RUSSELL, why I bet you WERE IN ON IT! Maybe I should send YOU A bill too!
Lance: “AW COME ON NOW, Jimmy I had nothing to do with this!
Jimmy: “Here’s the bottom line, BANANA NOSE: I’m owed $20,000 for a new lawn! And Lance Russell if Manny Fernandez doesn’t pay up . . . . .MAYBE I’LL COME LOOKING FOR YOU!
Jimmy and Precious storm off!
Lance: “Hey PAL, don’t threaten me, you may have a landscaper, I HAVE A LAWYER! Fans, there IS a big announcement regarding that man Jimmy Garvin and Manny Fernandez, we have to go to a break maybe we will still get to it later this hour!
