Austin Idol stands in front of an American flag. He has his axe handle “Minerva” in his hand and he uses the weapon to gesture with as he speaks.
IDOL: America is the greatest country on God's green earth and she deserves a better American Champion than that drooling, barking Buzz Sawyer! Tonight, here on the USA Network, there's gonna be a new American Champion crowned and you're looking at him, darlin! The ladies' pet and the men's regret, AUSTIN IDOL!
We see Ron Fuller and Buzz Sawyer in the dressing room. Sawyer is beating on the lockers with his dog chain!
FULLER: Austin Idol, I want you to look at this raging animal! Look at the Mad Dog, son! Do you honestly think you stand a chance against a man like this, boy?
SAWYER: Idol, ain't nobody and I mean nobody takin my title from me! (holds up title belt and actually bites it) I'll chew you up and spit you out, Idol! This belt is mine and I'll do whatever I gotta do to keep it! AWOOOOOOOOOO!
VTR OPENING:
As the music plays we see the following:
Billy Jack Haynes holding a championship belt above his head!
Haynes overhead press slamming an opponent!
Rock and Roll Express hitting a double dropkick!
Dan Spivey powerbombing Billy Jack on the concrete floor!
Jos LeDuc putting the bearhug on Tom Prichard!
Ron Fuller leading Master of Pain to the ring!
Buzz Sawyer hitting a powerslam!
Vader and Madusa coming down the aisle!
Nord the Berzerker coming to the ring, waving his sword above his head!
Billy Jack Haynes applying the full nelson!
MARSHALL: Welcome to UWA FURY and what a night, Magnum TA! You just heard from the American Champion and the man who challenges him here tonight! It will be “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer of the Stud Stable defending against “Universal Heartthrob” Austin Idol!
MAGNUM: A main event anywhere in the world and we have it right here on USA, Lee! We also have a big six man tag where the Nasty Boys & Nord the Berzerker from the House of Dundee will take on “Midnight Soldier” Brian Adams, Johnny Ace, & the rookie Dustin Rhodes! We also will see Scott Steiner make his debut as an individual tonight. He really impressed me last week!
MARSHALL: We'll also hear from the Fabulous Freebirds and a former NWA World Champion who has just signed to be a part of the UWA!
MAGNUM: You fans won't believe who's coming to the UWA next! We also have a special statement from Steve Keirn. Right now, a very talented wrestler is ready to go in our opening match!
“Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (w/Missy Hyatt) vs. Paul Garner: Like him or not, Gilbert can really go and he puts on a show this week as he pins Garner after a piledriver. Magnum mentions that not only does Gilbert want Bill Dundee's UWA Junior Heavyweight Title, he's like to take over Dundee's House of Dundee stable as well! After the bout, the announce team throws it to the newest (and prettiest, Magnum adds)member of the broadcast team, Miss Boni Blackstone!
Boni is standing in front of a backdrop with the UWA logo on it.
BONI: I'm here with a victorious “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert and, of course, Missy Hyatt. Eddie, you have some major goals here in the UWA!
GILBERT: That's right, little girl! I'd like to speak to a certain short little fella named Dundee! You around, Billy?
Bill Dundee comes out, UWA World Junior Heavyweight belt around his waist!
DUNDEE: You need something, sport?
GILBERT: You don't seem to respond when somebody sends you a message, Billy! I've put in challenges for that strap you're wearing and so far, no title match! I've made good faith offers for the contracts of that stable of yours, but no response! I'm gonna get what I want, sooner or later, Bill Dundee! You can count on that!
DUNDEE: Eddie, I've known ya since you were a little boy! You was always a spoiled brat and a punk! Quite honestly, you haven't beat anybody in the UWA so ya don't deserve a title match! As for buying the contracts of my wrestlers-quite honestly, none of my guys wanna have you as a manager! On the other hand, they wouldn't mind having yer sweet lady in their corner! (to Missy) Darlin, if you ever feel like spending time with a real man, the Superstar ain't hard to find!
Dundee kisses Missy's hand before leaving. Missy giggles and blushes!
BONI: Wow, you seemed to enjoy that Missy!
GILBERT: She did not! Stop trying to stir up trouble, Lois Lane!
MISSY: Yeah! Stop trying to cause trouble, you bimbo!
BONI: Well, I think this interview is over!
GILBERT: The interview is over, but Dundee, you and me are just getting started!

Steve & Shaun Simpson vs. Randy Rose & Ron Sexton: This turns out to be quite a competitive match. Shaun pins Sexton after a flying bodypress.
We go to Boni in the interview area.
BONI: I'm here with three young men who have a tough challenge later this evening. “Midnight Soldier” Brian Adams, Johnny Ace, and, making his professional debut, young Dustin Rhodes! Dustin, you certainly aren't getting off to an easy start! Nord the Berzerker and the Nasty Boys are big, mean, and tough!
RHODES: That is very true, Miss Boni, but look who I have on my side! Two of the best that the UWA has to offer! I ain't backin down from any fight, especially when I got men like this on my side!
ADAMS: I like that attitude, Dustin! That's what the Midnight Army is all about, never giving up, giving in, or backing down! Nord, you and me have went round and round! Now, you got those goofy Nasty Boys with you! Well, I got my man Johnny Ace and a future superstar in Dustin Rhodes! We've been working out with Dustin all week and he's ready for anything you geeks can dish out!
ACE: Yeah, bring it on! We're ready!
BONI: Three fired up young men! Good luck, guys!
COMMERCIAL
BONI: Right now, we have via satellite from Atlanta, GA, the Fabulous Freebirds! Guys, can you hear me?
Michael Hayes, Buddy Roberts, and Terry Gordy are standing in front of what appears to be an antebellum mansion. There is a Rolls Royce parked behind them.
HAYES: We hear you loud and clear, darlin! You have all three of the Freebirds live and in living color!
BONI: Next week, UWA FURY originates from the Showboat Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and the Freebirds are scheduled to make their UWA wrestling debut. Vegas seems like a Freebirds kind of town!
HAYES: Not only are you sexy, you're smart! Our kind of lady! Yeah, Vegas is a perfect fit for the 'Birds! We plan on showin up and kickin some tail ther at the Showboat next week!
ROBERTS: It don't matter who they throw at us! We're ready to rock and roll!
BONI: For those viewers who aren't familiar with the Freebirds, can you introduce your group, Michael?
HAYES: Well, we are the Toast of the Coast, the originators and innovators of Fantsaia, the Fabulous Freebirds! I am the frontman and the bandleader, Michael “PS” Hayes! Beside me, one of the all time greats, known and loved throughout the civilzed world, good ol, bad ol Buddy Jack Roberts, Esquire! And behind me, our big brother, 285 pounds of rompin, stompin, graveyard destruction, the baddest man alive, Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy!
BONI: And what are your goals here in the UWA?
HAYES: Any and all championship belts! Singles, tag team, we want'em all, sweetie! We'll probably focus on the tag titles first! Those Samoans are big and bad, but they can be had!
GORDY: The bigger they are, the harder they fall! And they are two big men!
ROBERTS: Right on, Bamm Bamm!
BONI: Everybody here is looking forward to seeing the three of you next week on UWA FURY!
HAYES: Well, you just stay beautiful and we'll see you then!
Capable Terry Daniels stands in the ring. Then, we hear...
Madusa Miceli leads Big Van Vader into the arena!
Big Van Vader (w/Madusa Miceli) vs. Terry Daniels: Vader destroys his opponent and pins after a vicious Vader block in the corner. Magnum admits that hes starting to doubt if anybody in the UWA can handle Vader!

Superstar Bill Dundee, Cactus Jack, & Jos LeDuc vs. Mark Starr, Mike Jackson, & Mitch Snow: The House of Dundee is well represented here this week. Junior Heavyweight Champ Dundee and TV Champ LeDuc and wildman Cactus Jack score a convincing win. Dundee puts Jackson away with the sleeper to get the duke.
COMMERCIAL
Dean Malenko vs. Lou Fabiano: The announcers rave about newcomer Malenko's international experience and amature background as he puts on a clinic against the overmatched Fabiano. Malenko scores a submission win using the Texas cloverleaf. An impressive debut for Malenko.

Scott Steiner vs. King Kahlua: Steiner looked really impressive in a tag match last week and he impresses in his UWA singles debut. Steiner pins Kahlua after a Frankensteiner(although the announcers don't have a name for the move yet). Magnum really puts Steiner over, calling him a future World Champion.
MARSHALL: We said we had a huge announcement about a new wrestler on his way into the UWA. Fans, this man is an all time great. When the history of professional wrestling is written, he'll have his own chapter! He is the legend, Terry Funk!
VTR:
eAs the music starts,we see Terry Funk riding a horse across the plains. Then, we see black and white photos of Terry Funk as a child followed by grainy footage of Funk during his early wrestling career. Then we see the finish of Funk's NWA World Title win. That's followed by scenes of Funk wrestling several of the top starts of pro wrestling. The video ends with Funk riding into the sunset.
After the music fades, we see Terry Funk sitting on a stool in a blackened studio.
FUNK: Yeah, I've done pretty well in my chosen field, if I do say so myself. I admit that I got more years behind me than I do ahead of me, but there's plenty of life left in this old dog! The United Wrestling Alliance is the hottest thing going today! When Frank Dusek called me and invited me to come here and wrestle, I couldn't pass it up! Next week, I'll be right there in Las Vegas for UWA FURY! I hear they have something called Battle Bowl coming up on pay per view! There's gonna be a big cash prize for the winner! I'll be right in the middle of that, too! Get ready, Terry Funk is on his way! I'm meaner 'n a rattlesnake and I sting like a scorpine! As long as there's a breath in my body, I'll still be in the fight!There are a lot of big, tough guys there in the UWA and I won't back down from any of them!
MAGNUM: Terry Funk is one of the all time greats. Things are never boring when he's around! Right now, Steve Keirn has something he needs to get off his chest.
Steve Keirn is standing in the interview area. He is wearing the bow tie, tuxedo jacket, gloves and top hat of the Fabulous Ones. He looks deadly serious.
KEIRN: Good evening, wrestling fans. I really wish I didn't need to say what I'm about to say, but the man who started the Fabulous Ones, Jackie Fargo, said that he always wanted us to be honest with the wrestling fans, so that's what I'm gonna do. Here's what I have to say: almost six years ago, Jackie Fargo started the Fabulous Ones. And we had a great run. I'll never deny that. But there was always tension. I like making money- I can't deny that. Stan's only motivation seemed to be money. We made a lot of moves that I really wasn't 100% in favor of because Stan saw a way to make big money. There's more to life than big money, but try telling Stanley lane that! Well, not long ago somebody offered Stan a bunch of money. The guy who made the offer was somebody we knew ever since he got involved in professional wrestling. We always laughed at this guy. We called him “mama's boy”. Evrybody who's ever known him says he's good for nothing! But when he waved a wad of his mother's money under Stan's nose, it was “good bye, Steve”, “goodbye, Fabs”, and “goodbye, UWA”! If the love of money is the root of all evil, Stan, you must be one evil man! (takes off top hat and tosses it aside) The Fabulous Ones were Stan and Steve. No Stan(removes gloves, jacket, and bowtie and tosses them aside as well), no Fabs! I can't do it by myself. I'll find some way to carry on, but not as a Fabulous One. I'm really sorry, folks. That's just how it is! (walks away)

VTR: We see footage of UWA action.
MARSHALL: Battle Bowl is coming to pay per view on May 14th!!!! It starts with a Lethal Lottery where the luck of the draw will force enemies to work together and friends to fight against each other in a series of action packed tag matches! Then, the winners meet in Battle Bowl, the ultimate battle royal where the last man standing wins 500 grand, a future match for the Undisputed World Title, and the Lord of the Ring trophy!

Nasty Boys & Nord the Berzerker (w/Superstar Bill Dundee) vs. “Midnight Soldier” Brian Adams, Johnny Ace, & Dustin Rhodes: Rhodes surprises the Nastys with a series of arm drags early on. When Nord and Adams get in there together, it's all out war! Eventually, Cactus Jack comes out and jumps Ace, getting the House of Dundee a DQ! The faces are outnumbered until Austin Idol hits the ring with Minerva for the save! Afterwards, Idol grabs the mic!
IDOL: OK, Fuller, bring the Mad Dog out here! Time has run out!
As we go to break, Fuller is leading Sawyer to the ring!
COMMERCIAL
AMERICAN TITLE MATCH: “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer (w/”Tennessee Stud” Ron Fuller) © vs. “Universal Heartthrob” Austin Idol: This is an all out brawl! Fuller tries to get involved, but Scott Steiner comes out to counteract him! Eventually, it turns into a fight on the floor with Idol and Steiner fighting Sawyer and Fuller all over the building! Referee David Manning gives up and calls for the bell!
