We also have a huge announcement about WWI TV programming, and Kerry Von Erich meets the Purple Haze in our main event. Let’s not waste any more time, and go to Ralph Pulley.”

“Playboy” Buddy Rose vs. Dan Kroffat
Rose gets a shot at the International Championship at the ‘Firecracker Spectacular’. Kroffat will be a tough test. Rose is arrogant, and makes Kroffat wait. They lock up, and Kroffat looks very good. Rose begins to use his illegal tactics. He takes over and wins with a piledriver. He is ready for Austin Idol.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Jose Estrada
Kevin is locked in a feud with Sullivan’s ‘Army of Darkness . He can’t overlook Estrada. The match is fast paced, and the Early moments are dead even. Estrada gets in a few cheap shots, but Kevin counters with wrestling skill. He takes over and wins with a flying bodypress.

Hercules w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Armand Rougeau
The powerful Hercules takes on the youngest member of the Rougeau family. Armand is very skilled, and game, but Hercules is one of the most powerful men in the sport. Akbar shouts instructions from ringside. Hercules overpowers his opponent, and wins with the full Nelson.

Karachi Vice vs. Gino Carabello and Gino Brito Jr.
The vicious men from Pakistan will meet the Road Warriors at the Cap Center. They face two youngsters tonight. The bell rings and we are underway.Carabello, and Brito use their speed to control the early action. Game Singh catches Gino, and takes him down. He mat wrestles, and Carabello gets to the ropes. Finally, Makhan Singh catches Brito with a powerslam for the win.

Austin Idol defends the International Title against ‘Playboy’ Buddy Rose
In a Six Man Tag Team Match, the World Champion, Kerry Von Erich, Kevin Von Erich, and Billy Jack Haynes, take on the ‘Army of Darkness’, Kevin Sullivan, Maya Singh, and the Purple Haze accompanied by the alluring Fallen Angel.
In a scaffold match, the Midnight Express defend the World Tag Team Championship against the Midnight Rockers.
We promised you a big announcement. Let’s go to Hacksaw Jim Duggan.”
We see Hacksaw Jim Duggan in an interview area.
Duggan, “Akbar, Slaughter, I’m a proud American, I love my country. That flag means a lot to me. I’ve never told anyone, but that flag belonged to my Dad. He was the police chief in Glens Falls, NY. That flag was in his office. When he retired, they gave it to him, and then he gave it to me. It means everything to me, and now you have it! Slaughter, you’re a disgrace! You were a Marine, and now you’re with that A-rab! I want that flag back, I have to get it back! I’ll wrestle Slaughter for the flag, and you’ll burn it over my dead body!”
Lowrance, “WOW! The stakes are so high in this match. If Duggan wins, he gets his Father’s flag back, if he loses, Akbar, and Slaughter will burn it. Fans, a handful of tickets remain at the Cap Center. Act now!”

The Midnight Express (World Tag Team Champions) w/James E. Cornette vs. Frank Marconi and Mario Mancini
Cornette grabs the mic from Ralph Pulley.
Cornette, “Give me that! If you idiots think Bobby and Dennis are climbing up that scaffold, you’re nuts! My Mother’s lawyer is working overtime! This isn’t going to happen! My Mother promised me, it won’t happen!”
The Express don’t seem to be worried about the scaffold. They wrestle a fantastic match. Bobby, and Dennis tag in and out. Marconi, and Mancini are overwhelmed. The Express use the rocket launcher for the win.

The Midnight Rockers vs. Terry Gibbs and Ted Grizzly
The Rockers Get their big chance on the scaffold on July 4. They start fast, and the fans are on their feet. Jannetty gets a two count on Gibbs, but Terry kicks out. The action goes back, and forth, until the Rockers hit the Rocker dropper on Mancini for the win.
Winners-The Midnight Rockers

Lowrance, “With me are the World Champion, Kerry Von Erich, Kevin Von Erich, and Billy Jack Haynes. Gentlemen, you face Kevin Sullivan'’s ‘Army of Darkness’. Those three have been a thorn in your sides. They are very dangerous.”
Haynes, “Those three are wild, and you’re right, they are very dangerous. It all started when they jumped Kevin. We won’t back down, no matter what happened.”
Kerry, “Kevin’s my brother, and Billy Jack is my friend. We’lL stick together, and no matter what Sullivan pulls, we’re ready!”
Kevin, “Sullivan, I felt that spike you carry! If you try to use that again, we’ll be ready! Kerry, and Billy, and I are ready for a fight! Bring it on!”
Lowrance, “Kerry, you face the Purple Haze Tonight.”
Kerry, “He’s a maniac, but I’m ready for it.”

Mercer, “WWI would like to make an announcement about an upcoming TV program. On Saturday night, July 6, WOR presents ‘Big Apple Wrestling’. This will be 60 minutes of the best in wrestling action. You will not want to miss the action.”

Kerry Von Erich (World Champion) vs. The Purple Haze w/Kevin Sullivan and Fallen Angel
The Haze attacks Kerry before the bell. He has the World Champion in a bad way. The crowd is on their feet. Kerry fights his way out of the corner. Now we have a pier six brawl. Kerry grabs the edge, and the Haze is in trouble. The Fallen Angel distracts referee Bronco Lubich. Sullivan takes the golden spike out of the bag and tries to toss it to the Haze. Kerry intercepts it, and decks the Haze. Lubich turns, and sees Kerry with the spike. He calls for the bell, and disqualifies Kerry. Sullivan pulls the Haze out of the ring. Kerry stands in the ring. The crowd cheers. They don’t care about the disqualification.
Winner-The Purple Haze (Disqualification)
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “Things are coming to a boil. The action on July 4 will be exciting. Join us next week for a recap of the big show.”
