Mercer, “Welcome to ‘International Championship Wrestling’. We have more information about ‘Firecracker Spectacular’, we have a huge match to add to the show. We will see the Black Tiger in action, and we also have an exciting main event, Hacksaw Jim Duggan takes on Barry O. Let’s go to Ralph Pulley.”
Match #1
The Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering vs. Terry Gibbs and Bob Marcus
The Road Warriors hit the ring and attack their opponents. Hawk goes after Gibbs, and the crowd gets louder. The Warriors are on their game. They overpower their foes, and use the the doomsday device to finish off Marcus.

Match #2
Sgt Slaughter w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Mario Mancini
Slaughter comes to the ring carrying Hacksaw Jim Duggan’s flag. He hands it to Akbar, and attacks Mancini. Slaughter is very impressive. He moves quickly, and Mancini has no answer for the former Marine. Slaughter uses the cobra clutch for the win. Akbar brings the flag into the ring, and Slaughter waves it. The crowd boos loudly.

Rip Oliver w/“Playboy” Buddy Rose vs. Gino Brito Jr.
“The Crippler” is a key member of the Playboy’s ‘Army’”. Oliver goes right after Brito. He drives his loaded thumb into Gino’s throat. Oliver keeps up the attack. Brito fights back, but it’s not enough. Oliver uses the shoulder breaker for the win.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Frank Marconi
Kevin returned from injury, and was immediately targeted by Kevin Sullivan, and his band of misfits. The fans are firmly behind Von Erich is this feud. Kevin is at the top of his game. He moves quickly, and controls the action. He lands a flying bodypress for the win.
Winner-Kevin Von Erich
Marc Lowrance is in the studio.
Lowrance, “July 4 is fast approaching. The ‘Firecracker Spectacular’ will take place at the Cap Center in Washington DC. We have an exciting card on tap. Tonight, we can add another match, Olympic Strongman Ken Patera will be in action.
We also know, Tiger Mask will defend the World Jr. Heavyweight Title against. The Black Tiger. The Black Tiger will be in action later in the program.
Austin Idol defends the International Title against ‘Playboy’ Buddy Rose.
Kerry, Kevin, and, Billy Jack Haynes issued a challenge to Kevin Sullivan and his ‘Army of Darkness’. Sullivan has accepted, and we have a six Man Tag Team Match, Kerry and Kevin Von Erich Team up with Billy Jack Haynes to take on Kevin Sullivan, and his ‘Army of Darkness, The Purple Haze, and Maya Singh.
Finally, the World Tag Team Titles will be on the line in a scaffold match. The Midnight Express will defend against the Midnight Rockers. We know that Jim Cornette is very worried about this. Let’s hear from the challengers.”
The Midnight Rockers are in an interview area.
Jannetty, “Cornette, we hear you’re afraid of the scaffold! Well we’re not! Shawn and I are athletes, and we’ll climb that scaffold, and we’re sending your guys over the edge!”
Michaels, “Condry, Eaton, we respect you as wrestlers, but we’re not afraid of anything! We are going to Washington, and those titles will belong to us!”
Match #5
The Midnight Rockers vs. Johnny Rodz and Jose Estrada
The popular Rockers take on two rugged New York City veterans. Jannetty starts with Rodz. Marty starts for the Rockets. Jannetty Control the action against Rodz. They go back, and forth, and Michaels tags in. Estrada tries his hand. The Rockets are too much. They win with the Rocker dropper for the win.
Winners-The Midnight Rockers
Marc Lowrance is with Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Lowrance, “With me is Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Mr. Duggan, Skandor Akbar, and Sgt Slaughter, continue to taunt you with your American flag.”
Duggan, “That’s right! They stole the flag from me. That’s my fault. I respect Slaughter as a Marine, but he turned his back on America, and sided with Akbar, and that makes me sick! I’m going to take the flag back, the fans can count on that!”
Lowrance, “Hacksaw Jim Duggan, standing up for the Red, White, and Blue!”

The Black Tiger vs. Armand Rougeau
Black Tiger wears a similar mask to Tiger Mask, but it is black. He wrestles a high flying style. Rougeau is talented, but the Tiger is too much. He hits a flying body press for the win.
Winner-The Black Tiger
Match #7
Barry O vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan
O is a very good wrestler, and will give Hacksaw a run for his money. The early moments are dead even. Duggan begins to take control the crowd is behind him, and he hits for the spear for the win. Duggan has his hand raised by referee Carl Fergie. Down the aisle come Sgt Slaughter, and General Skandor Akbar. Slaughter waves the flag. Duggan and Slaughter stare holes through one another. Duggan grabs the mic from Ralph Pulley.
Duggan, “Slaughter, you make me sick! You’re a disgrace to the Marines, and the USA! I’ve got a challenge for you, and Akbar. Wrestle me at the ‘Firecracker Spectacular’, if I win, I get my flag back!”
The crowd goes crazy. Akbar grabs the house mic.
Akbar, “OK, if you win you get the flag, if Slaughter wins, we burn the flag!”
The crowd lets out a collective gasp.
Duggan, “I’ll do it for America!”
The crowd explodes.
Winner-Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “WOW! The Hacksaw Man is going to stand up for America. I hope he knows what he is doing. Join us next week for more exciting action.”
