Mercer, “Welcome to ‘International Championship Wrestling’! We have a great show for you tonight. We have a World Tag Team Championship Match on tap. The Midnight Express takes on the Midnight Rockers. The Rockers have come close, but tonight might be the night. We also have information on Kevin Von Erich. He has several stitches from the attack from Kevin Sullivan. We will talk to the ‘Master of Darkness’. What does ‘Kill the head, and the body dies!’ Means. Hopefully we find out. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance, and a new Tag Team.”
Match #1
Karachi Vice vs. Mike Reed and Frank Marconi
karachi Vice, Gama and Makhan, Singh debuted at the ‘Texas Shootout’. They are vicious, and dangerous. Makhan starts with Marconi. He is huge, and municipal. He punches, kicks, and chokes. Marconi has no chance. Reed tags in, and tries his luck. Makhan punishes him, and tags in Gama. He is a skilled mat wrestler, and continues to punish Reed, and then uses a single leg Boston crab for the win.

Ken Patera w/General Skandor Akbar vs. SD Jones
The powerful Patera meets the popular Jones. SD uses his speed to avoid Patera, Ken is patient, and waits for his chance. He sees it, and capitalizes. He controls the action until he can clamp on the neckbreaker. Jones quickly submits.

Mike Rotundo vs. Bob Marcus
The highly skilled Rotundo takes over early. The former NCAA Champion controls the action. Marcus is game, but Rotundo is too much. He uses the airplane spin for the win.

The Purple Haze w/Kevin Sullivan and ? vs. Mario Mancini
The Haze is accompanied by Sullivan, and the attractive woman. Marc Lowrance approaches Sullivan.
Lowrance, “Mr. Sullivan, who is this?”
Sullivan, “When Abudadien sent me to destroy everything in my path, he sent me the golden spike! The Fallen Angel brought it to me! She is here to serve me in any way! She has entered the darkness!”
Lowrance, “The Fallen Angel? What does, ‘Kill the head, and the body dies?’ Mean?”
Sullivan, “It’s the plan of Abudadien! That’s all you need to know!”
The bell rings and the Purple Haze goes to work. He punishes Mancini. The Haze is a maniac. He works over Mancini, and finishes things with the sleephold.
Winner-The Purple Haze
Marc Lowrance is with Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Lowrance, “With me Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Hacksaw, you beat Sgt Slaughter, but Slaughter, and Akbar got away with the American flag.”
Duggan, “Marc, I’m embarrassed. That flag meant a lot to me. I carried it to show everyone, including Slaughter, and Akbar, how much I love America. I promise you one thing, and Slaughter, and Akbar Listen good, I am going to take back that flag! You can count on it!”
Lowrance, “Hacksaw Jim Duggan is standing up for America.”

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Gino Carabello
Duggan hears the cheers of the fans. He is on a mission to regain the American flag he lost to Slaughter, and Akbar. Duggan is all over Carabello. There is more of an edge to Hacksaw. He is angry. He overwhelms Carabello and wins with the spear.
Winner-Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Marc Lowrance is with the Midnight Rockers.
Lowrance, “With me are Shawn Michaels, and Marty Jannetty, the Midnight Rockets. Gentlemen, you get a shot at the Midnight Express tonight. You have come very close several times, but the title has eluded you.”
Michaels, “Yea, because Cornette, or that Gorilla Bubba sticks their noses into the match. Marty and I know we can beat them, and tonight is the night!”
Jannetty, “Like Marty said, we know we’re better than them, and we’ll prove it tonight,”
Lowrance, “The title Match is our main event.”

Dan Kroffat vs. Rip Oliver
“The Crippler” meets the muscular young man from Canada. Kroffat starts fast. He hits a dropkick, and Oliver is stunned. Dan goes for a second one, but Oliver blocks it. This is the edge Oliver needs. He takes over and uses the shoulder breaker for the win.

World Tag Team Championship
The Midnight Express (Champions) w/James E. Cornette and Big Bubba Rogers vs. The Midnight Rockers
The Ft. Worth crowd is on their feet for this one. Cornette grabs the mic from Marc Lowrance.
Cornette, “Listen to me you two punks, We beat your brains out at Texas Stadium, and you still want another beating, well these are to guys to do it, the World Tag Team Champions, Loverboy Dennis, and Beautiful Bobby, the Midnight Express!”
The bell rings, and we are underway. The action is fast paced, and exciting. Both teams tag in and out. Cornette shouts instructions. He seems worried. Michaels tries a rollup, but Condry kicks out. The action continues, and the Express trap Michaels in the corner. Shawn fights his way out. He tags in Jannetty. Marty clears the ring. Cornette confers with his men. They return, and Bobby Eaton goes to work. He is one of the best in the business. He works over Marty. Both men battle their way to the floor. They continue to slug it out. In the ring, Condry and Michaels are brawling. Referee David Manning is occupied with these two. On the floor, Big Bubba grabs Michaels, and slams him to the arena floor. Michaels is stunned. Eaton dives back in the ring. Manning turns, and counts out Michaels. The Champions take a cheap victory.
Winners-The Midnight Express (Count Out)
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “The Midnight Express Get an undeserved victory over the Rocker men. That’s the first time we’ve seen Bubba get involved in a match. The action in WWI is getting hotter, and hotter. Join us next week, we will have an International Championship Match, Riki Choshu will defend the title against Austin Idol. Don’t miss this one. We will also talk about the ‘Firecracker Spectacular’.”
