The popular young man from Portland, OR debuts in WWI. O is a talented wrestler, who will pull out all stops. Billy Jack is one of the most powerful men in wrestling. He clasps on the full Nelson, and O submits. Billy Jack Haynes has arrived in WWI.

Six Man Tag Team Match
Los Infernales vs. Kevin Sullivan, The Purple Haze and Maya Singh
The Mexican team be as wild as Sullivan’s group. El Satanico opens against Maya Singh. The brawl starts. Both men exchange rights, and lefts. Singh gets the better of things and tags in the Haze. The wild man goes to work, and Satanico is in trouble. He tags in Espectro Jr., and he and the Haze duke it out. Sullivan, and MS 1 end up in the ring. Sullivan lands the double stomp for the win. “The Army of Darkness” is something to fear.

Austin Idol vs. Johnny Mantell
“The Universal Heartthrob” is known throughout the World. The tough cowboy from Wise County will be a good test. Idol is smooth, and aggressive. He is one of the best in the business. Mantell is game, and puts up a good fight. Idol is too much. He locks on the Las Vegas leglock, and Mantell submits.

Ken Patera w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Tom Zenk
Akbar took over managing Patera after Gary Hart left the area. The Olympic strongman is even more dangerous now. The young Zenk will have to be at his best. Zenk starts fast. He takes to the air, and Patera is in some trouble. He Takes to the floor to confer with Akbar. He returns and slows the pace. Patera uses his strength to take over. He controls the action, and wins with the swinging neckbreaker.

Genichiro Tenryu vs. Kevin Von Erich
Kevin is returning from a shoulder injury. Tenryu may not be a good choice for a first opponent. Kevin starts fast, and the Dallas crowd is behind him. Kevin gets a quick two count, but Tenryu kicks out. The big man from Japan begins to hammer away at Kevin. The elder Von Erich is in trouble. He draws on the cheers of the crowd, and mounts a comeback. Kevin hits a flying body press for the the. As Kevin basks in the cheers of the crowd, Kevin Sullivan, The Purple Haze, and Maya Singh hit the ring! Why are they here? They triple team Kevin. He is in trouble! Billy Jack Haynes hits the ring. He helps Kevin fight off the Army of Darkness. Sullivan, and his men leave ringside. Kevin and Billy shake hands.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Sgt Slaughter w/General Skandor Akbar
Slaughter and Akbar come to the ring first. Then Hacksaw comes down the aisle waving the American flag. The Texas crowd goes crazy. Slaughter attacked Duggan, at the ‘Texas Shootout”, is Duggan still injured? Two big men lock up. They exchange power move after power move. The crowd gets louder and louder. Akbar shouts instructions from ringside. Duggan dishes out punishment, and Slaughter returns in kind. Duggan begins to gain control. Slaughter is in retreat. Akbar enters the ring, and smashes Duggan with his cane. Duggan is stunned. Referee Bronko Lubich calls for the bell. Slaughter clamps on the cobra clutch. Duggan is out. Slaughter grabs Duggan’s American flag, and he and Akbar leave the ring area.

Intermission
Marc Lowrance and Fritz Von Erich are in the ring.
Lowrance, “Fritz, What a Show so far!”
Fritz, “That’s right Marc. WWI provides the best in wrestling, and we’re proving it today.”
Lowrance, “And the best is yet to come.”
Fritz, “Yes it is. We all want to see Kerry win the World Title. It won't be easy, but I think he can do it.”
Lowrance, “”I know you have a big announcement.”
Fritz, “We do have one Marc. On July 4, WWI will be at the Capital Center in Washington DC. We will present the ‘Firecracker Spectacular’. We will have more information in the coming days. ”
Lowrance, “WWI continues to present the best in wrestling action.”

World Jr. Heavyweight Championship
Tiger Mask (Champion) vs. Pirata Morgan
Carl Fergie is your referee. Morgan is a “Rudo”, but he is very talented. The match is fast paced. Morgan roughs up the Champion. Morgan dishes out punishment. Tiger Mask begins to fight back. He takes to the air, and he’s in control. He hits a flying bodypress, and gets a two count. The action continues, and Tiger Mask hits the Tiger suplex, and Fergie counts the fall.

The Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering vs. The Super Strong Machines
The Road Warriors have become fan favorites. Today, the meet the tough, masked, team from Japan. Hawk starts with SSM #1. The masked man is big, and matches Hawk’s strength. #1 dishes out punishment, and Hawk retaliates. We have a slugfest. Animal tags in, and the bigger Road Warrior goes to work. SSM #2 tries his hand, but things begin to go the Road Warriors way. They use the doomsday device for the win.

World Tag Team Championship
The Midnight Express (Champions) w/James E. Cornette and Big Bubba vs. The Midnight Rockers
Cornette takes the mic from Marc Lowrance.
Cornette, “Listen to me you two teeny bopper dreams, Wrestling is a man’s sport, and neither of you qualify!”
Shawn Michaels grabs the mic from Cornette.
Michaels, “Cornette, if you walked through a men’s locker room, you’d be whistling ‘Stranger in Paradise’!”
Cornette is apoplectic, and we are underway. Condry opens up with Jannetty. The action is fast, and exciting. Both teams tag in and out. The Express trap Michaels in the corner, and dish out punishment. Shawn fights his way out, and tags in Jannetty. Marty and Bobby Eaton go at it. Cornette looks very worried at ringside. Eaton rolls up Marty, and referee David Manning counts two. Jannetty kicks out. All four men end up in ring. Manning can’t control the action, and calls for the bell. Both teams are disqualified. This is far from over.

International Championship
Riki Choshu (Champion) vs. Jumbo Tsuruta
Two rugged men from the Far East battle over the International Title. Both men circle one another. They know one mistake could cost them the match. They lock up, and we are underway.,Tsuruta grabs the early edge. He takes the Champion to the mat, and works over his arm. Choshu gets to the ropes and referee Carl Fergie calls for the break. The match continues to go back and forth. Things begin to go the Champions way. He hits a clothesline, and covers Jumbo. Fergie counts the fall, the Champion retains.

World Championship
Tatsumi Fujinami (Champion) vs. Kerry Von Erich
The feeling in Texas Stadium is electric. Kerry laces back and forth as Marc Lowrance goes through the ring introductions. Bronko Lubich is the referee. The bell rings, and we are underway. They lock, and Kerry takes control. He works over Fujinami. He grabs a side headlock, and works over the Champion. Fujinami shoots Kerry into the ropes, and hits him with a shoulder tackle. Kerry doesn’t budge. Fujinami now tries to mat wrestle. Kerry matches him move for move. The Champions begins to get frustrated. He tries to rough up Kerry. The Challenger is ready for this. He takes over, he whips Fujinami into the ropes, and clamps on the iron claw! Fujinami fights it, but he goes down. He is out! Lubich raises Kerry’s hand, he is the new Champion. Kevin, Billy Jack Haynes, the Midnight Rockers, and others come to the ring to celebrate with Kerry. He holds the World Title aloft!
