Mercer, “Welcome fans! We are one week away from the ‘Parade of Champions’. We will talk about the big show. We will also talk about the ‘Texas Shootout’. We have a great feature match, the muscular Tom Zenk takes on, a newcomer, Rip ‘The Crippler’ Oliver. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance.”

Mike Rotundo vs. Ted Grizzly
The popular, former NCAA wrestler, Mike Rotundo, takes on big Ted Grizzly. Rotundo moves quickly. He hits a dropkick, and Grizzly goes down. Ted gets in a few shots, but Rotundo is too much. He is able to get Grizzly up in the airplane spin for the win.

Sgt Slaughter w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Mario Mancini
The sadistic Slaughter has a date with Hacksaw Duggan. He will also be involved in the big six Man Tag Team Match. He takes the fight right to Mancini. The youngster doesn’t know what hit him. Slaughter punishes him. Mancini is game, but he can’t withstand the attack. Slaughter slaps on the cobra clutch. Mancini fights it, but he is out.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Bob Marcus
Duggan proudly carries the American flag to the ring. He goes fight after Marcus. Duggan is very aggressive, and punishes Marcus. Duggan hits the spear for the win. Hacksaw stands in the middle of the ring waving the American flag.

Jumbo Tsuruta vs. AJ Petruzzi
The powerful man from Japan takes on the big deer hunter from Pennsylvania. Petruzzi goes right after Tsuruta. Jumbo backs up, but he regroups. Tsuruta rallies. Now he is in control. Tsuruta slams the big man, and covers him for a win.

Marc Lowrance is with the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering.
Lowrance, “With me are the Road Warriors and, their manager, Paul Ellering. Mr. Ellering, your team meets the Super Strong Machines at Texas Stadium. They are a very talented team.”
Ellering, “The Machines are, indeed, a great team! They have won match after match in Japan, but they haven’t wrestled the Legion of Doom! Animal and Hawk are the best in the business, and they will prove it at Texas Stadium. Then, we are coming after the World Tag Team Championships, and we will win them! Tell ‘me Animal!”
Animal, “We snack on danger, and dine on death!”
Hawk, “Oh, what a ruuuuuuuuuush!”

The Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering vs. Los Diablos
The Warriors have become very popular with the fans. The masked team from Mexico will be a good test. They use their speed to try to offset the power of the Legion of Doom. Animal and Hawk Tag in and out. The Diablos try every “Rudo” tactics they can, but the LOD are too much. They hit the doomsday device for the win.

Mercer, “Fans, we are a week away from the second annual ‘Parade of Champions’. Bell time is 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 19. The sun will shine brightly over Texas Stadium, and the eyes of the wrestling world will be upon us. Here is what you will see.
Two international stars will debut. Billy Jack Haynes, and Austin Idol will be in action.
We have a wild six Man Tag Team Match, Kevin Sullivan’s ‘Army of Darkness, the Purple Haze, Maya Singh, and Sullivan himself, will meet the Mexican team, Los Infernales, El Satánico, MS-1 and Espectro, Jr..
Kevin Von Erich returns to action to face Genichiro Tenryu.
Ken Patera takes on Tom Zenk.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan fights for America against Sgt Slaughter.
Tiger Mask defends the World Jr. Heavyweight Title against Pirata Morgan.
The Road Warriors meet the Super Strong Machines.
Riki Choshu defends the International Title against Jumbo Tsuruta.
The Midnight Express defends the World Tag Team Title against the Midnight Rockers.
Finally, Tatsumi ‘The Dragon’ Fujinami puts the World Championship on the line against Kerry Von Erich. ‘The Modern Day Warrior’ has the fans behind him, and this could be his day.
We also have a treat for you fans. On Saturday night, May 18, and 8:00 PM. The ‘Texas Shootout’ will be on the air. The program will air on WOR, KTVT, PRISM, NESN, and other channels. Check your local listings. Tatsumi Fujinami, and Kerry Von Erich, will both be in action. The feature match will be a six Man Tag Team Match. On one side will be, the Midnight Express and Hercules, on the other, the Midnight Rockers, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. That is a recipe for excitement. The ‘Master of Darkness’ attacks Reed before the bell. He is relentless. He chops, kicks, and chokes young Reed. He ties him to the tree of woe and delivers even more punishment. Sullivan comes off the second rope with a double stomp for the win.

Rip “The Crippler” Oliver vs. Tom Zenk
Oliver is a veteran from Florida. The young muscleman from Minnesota. He is in for a test. The match is very exciting. It goes back and forth. Zenk gets a two count with a flying body press, but Oliver kicks out. Finally, Rip hits a shoulder breaker for the win.
