-Al Snow upsets Joe Malenko with Paul Jones in his corner at the 14 minute mark with a backslide. (MM) Joe and Paul lay into the young wrestler until Pee Wee Anderson and Ernie Ladd get to ringside, then Jones and Malenko head for the hills. Snow advances.
-Dean Malenko with Paul Jones makes Scott Armstrong submit to the Texas Cloverleaf at the 11 miunte mark . (PWA)
-Les Thornton makes Ron Starr with Johnny Valliant submit to double armbar at the 12 minute mark. (MM)
-"Big" Scott Hall defeats Brett Sawyer with a shoulderbreaker at the 9 minute mark. (PWA)
Semifinal Contests are one fall thirty minute time limit
- Al Snow upsets Mike Davis at the 13 minute mark with a small package. Snow is really tired but elated that he is going on to the finals. (MM)
-Dean Malenko with Paul Jones makes Les Thornton say uncle at the 26 minute mark with an indian death lock in a thrilling back and forth classic. Thornton walks away limping and angry after Dean refused to shake his hand and Jones laughed in his face. (PWA)
-Bobby Jaggers and Gary Young defeat Rip Rogers and Pat Rose when Jaggers removes Rogers' head with a running lariat at the 17 minute mark. (MM)
-John Tatum with Sunshine get the win over Kevin Kelly when while Pee Wee is distracted by Tatum, Sunshine hits Kelly with her little black Agner pocketbook and Kelly drops like he was shot. The match ends at the 14 minute mark. (PWA)
Final for the National Light Heavyweight Championship
Ernie Ladd bans Paul Jones from ringside, to which Paul begins to complain about legal action.
-Dean Malenko defeats a game but way overmatched Al Snow at the 7 minute mark when Snow does not respond to a Cobra Clutch put on by Malenko. Snow passes out, and Dean is joined by Joe and Paul Jones in the center of the ring while Ernie Ladd places the belt around his waist to end the show. (MM)
