WWA's World's Finest Wrestling opens with a instrumental musical introduction featuring clips well known wrestling stars as WWA World's Heavyweight Champion Billy Robinson, World's Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) & WWA World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Akira Maeda w/mgr. Hiro Matsuda, Blackjack Mulligan, Brisco Brothers, Mongolian Stomper & Joe Leduc, the Nightmares (Ken Wayne & Danny Davis), the Spoiler, 'Crippler' Ken Timbs, Terry Taylor, Killer Kahn & Konga the Barbarian and others over the years. We join the announcing team of play-by-play announcer Les Thatcher, color commentator Bob Caudle and interviewer Barbara Clary who welcome wrestling fans to the World's Finest Wrestling program. Les welcomes the fans to today's show.
The first of two big announcements is that Antonio Inoki defeated Billy Robinson in the Omni on April 14. The second one is there will be a WWA World's Tag Team Title defense today between the champions the Fabulous Ones & the Brisco Brothers.
Thatcher sends us lets go to the ring for introductions for the first match of today with our ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta.
WWA Tag Team Title Match. (Champs): The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) defeated (Challs): The Brisco Brothers (Jack & Jerry). (9:34). Steve pinned Jack following a reverse rollup.
Commercial break includes a wrestler inteview with Billy Robinson on losing the title to Inoki & his plans on getting the title back
Standby Match 1.'Crippler' Ken Timbs wins by count out over World's Junior Heavyweight Champion Akira Maeda w/mgr. Hiro Matsuda. (6:23). Timbs attempted a piledriver on Madea after the match but Antonio Inoki put a stop to it.
Commercial break includes wrestler interview Terry Taylor who wants another rematch with Maeda.
Standby Match 2. New World's Heavyweight Champion Antonio Inoki w/mgr. Hiro Matsuda beat Krusher Kruschev with a spin kick to the back of the head. (8:00).

Standby Match 3. Six Man Tag Team Match. The Spoiler, the Mongolian Stomper & Jos Leduc w/mgr. Rock Hunter defeated Blackjack Mulligan, Mr. Wrestling II & Robert Fuller in a wild match. (8:43). Leduc pinned Fuller while Spoiler brawled with Mulligan on the studio floor.
