“The Crippler” has been very impressive since arriving in WWI. Rivera is very popular, and talented. Oliver is very aggressive. He pounds away at Rivera. Jose puts up a good fight, but Oliver wins with a shoulder breaker.

Kevin Sullivan vs. Jose Estrada
“The Master of Darkness” debuts in the Garden. He attacks Estrada at the bell. Jose is a veteran, but he hasn’t seen anything like this. Sullivan punches, and kicks. Estrada stands toe to toe with him. The brawl continues until Sullivan uses the double stomp off the ropes for the win.

Genichiro Tenryu vs. Johnny Rodz
The talented man from Japan meets the “Unpredictable One”. Rodz pulls out all his dirty tricks, and he gets the early edge.,Tenryu withstands the attack. He rallies, and uses his strength, and talent to take over. He hits the lariat, and covers Rodz for the win.

Mike Rotundo vs. King Kong Bundy w/General Skandor Akbar
The talented ex-NCAA wrestler meets the massive Bundy. Akbar may well be the difference in this one. Rotundo moves quickly, and this frustrates Bundy. Akbar shouts instructions, and Bundy goes to his rough house tactics. Now Rotundo is in trouble. Mike begins to rally, and both men fall through the ropes. The brawl on the floor as referee Carl Fergie counts. Both men are counted out, and brawl their way to the back.

Sgt Slaughter w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Steve Simpson
The fans hate Slaughter. They cannot understand why he has taken Akbar’s money. The ex-Marine attacks Simpson. He hammers away, and the African youngster is in trouble. Steve fights back, but Slaughter is too much. He applies the cobra clutch, and Simpson is out.

Kerry Von Erich and Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Tatsumi Fujinami and and Jumbo Tsuruta
Four big names meet in this one. Kerry will meet the World Champion at the “Parade of Champions”. Duggan, and Tsuruta open the contest. Two big men stand toe to toe. They slug it out. The crowd reacts to each blow. Duggan seems to get the better of things, and Jumbo retreats. He tags in Fujinami. “The Dragon” has held the title for several months, and is one of the best wrestlers in the world. He and a Duggan lock up. Fujinami whips Duggan into the ropes, and drops him with a shoulder tackle. The Champion controls the action until Hacksaw powers out of the hold. He Tags in Kerry. This is what the fans want to see. The two go back and forth. Both men have their moments.both men end up on the arena floor. They slug it out. Referee Bronko Lubich counts. Kerry dives back in the ring before The count reaches 20. Kerry and Hacksaw win, but not how they’d like.

Intermission
Marc Lowrance announces the next Madison Square Garden Show will take place on April 22. The main event will be a rematch of Kerry Von Erich, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Tatsumi Fujinami, and Jumbo Tsuruta.

World Tag Team Championship
The Midnight Express (Champions) w/James E. Cornette and Big Bubba Rogers vs. The Midnight Rockers
Cornette’s men have escaped time, and time, again, often the help of the manager. Condry and Michaels open the contest. Shawn is quick, and he uses his quickness to control the action. Cornette yells instructions, but Condry can’t seem to get anything going. Michaels tags in Jannetty, and he continues the attack. Condry is able to escape, and tag in Bobby Eaton. Eaton fights back. Now he is in control. Jannetty starts a comeback. All four men end up in the ring. Referee David Manning tries to get Michaels out of the ring. This allows Cornette to toss the tennis racquet to Eaton. He decks Jannetty, tosses the racquet back to Cornette, and covers Marty. Manning turns to count the fall! This is a miscarriage of justice!

World Jr. Heavyweight Championship
Tiger Mask (Champion) vs. The Cobra
Two talented, high flying, men meet in this one. The bell rings, and the action starts. Both men are at their best. They both get quick two counts. The Cobra hits a flying bodypress, but again the Champion kicks out. The New York crowd is on their feet. Tiger Mask uses the Tiger suplex for the win. Both men shake hands, what a match!

Ken Patera w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Tom Zenk
The final match of the evening features one of the most dangerous men in wrestling. “The Olympic Strongman” is a threat to any title in wrestling. He goes right after the youngster. Zenk is in trouble. He needs to use his speed, but he is in trouble. Zenk mounts a brief comeback, but Patera is too much. He goes for the neckbreaker, and Zenk quickly submits.
