Montez welcomes us to another episode of “OUTLAW CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING”!
This week, we’ll see Los Guerreros, Hector and Chavo, in action! Bobby Heenan’s monster trio of Abdullah the Butcher, Kamala and the Masked Superstar will be in a 6-man tag team match! “Cowboy” Scott Casey will be in action as he takes on veteran “Dirty” Dutch Mantell! A new tag team on the scene, “Dr. Death” Steve Williams and Jim “Anvil” Neidhart, will make their debut!
And in the main event, the former IWA World champion Mil Mascaras will square off with the Dynamite Kid! That should be an action-packed match!
Montez says that we haven’t seen much of Dynamite Kid lately, since he put local favourite Jay Youngblood on the shelf a few months ago, but he’ll be here today!
HECTOR & CHAVO GUERRERO defeat BRAZO DE ORO & BRAZO DE PLATA. The Guerrero brothers get the win when Chavo pins Brazo de Oro with a Moonsault press.
After the match, Chavo and Hector join Montez at ringside. Montez says that the NAWF will be introducing new titles very soon, the Western States title, and Southwest tag team titles, to be defended regularly in this area.
Chavo and Hector say that they want to take this opportunity to throw their hats in the ring for the Southwest tag team title tournament.
ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER & KAMALA & MASKED SUPERSTAR (w/ Bobby Heenan) defeat CHARLIE COOK & BRETT SAWYER & FRANKIE LAINE. This is a massacre, plain and simple! Abby, Kamala and Superstar attack as soon as the bell sounds, and they dominate the entire match. It’s obvious right from the start that Heenan’s trio could end the match any time they want, but they seem to be enjoying inflicting punishment on their opponents. Mercifully, Abby brings the match to an end, when he connects with the Butcher’s Axe elbowdrop on Laine for the 1, 2, 3.
Tito Montez is joined at ringside by Dynamite Kid. Montez says that we haven’t seen much of Dynamite on NAWF TV in the past few weeks.
Dynamite says that after Jay Youngblood got hurt, he received death threats from these crazy Yanks, and decided to take some time off TV. He says that the fans actually blame HIM for Youngblood’s injury, they don’t realize that this is the roughest, toughest sport in the world, and sometimes people get hurt.
Montez says that it wasn’t like Youngblood got hurt in the course of the match, Dynamite repeatedly drove a STEEL CHAIR into Jay’s throat! He says THAT’S why the fans blame him!
Dynamite says none of that matters, he’s standing here and Youngblood isn’t, that’s the bottom line!
Montez says that Dynamite will face the former World’s champion, Mil Mascaras, in today’s main event.
Dynamite refers to Mascaras as a Mexican jumping bean, and says he’s washed up. DK says he won’t even break a sweat in their match!
“COWBOY” SCOTT CASEY beats “DIRTY” DUTCH MANTELL. Casey comes out first, but on his way to the ring, Mantell attacks him from behind at ringside! Mantell puts the boots to Casey, then uses his whip “Shoo Baby” to choke Casey! Mantell rolls Casey into the ring, and then demands that the referee start the match! The bell rings, and Mantell immediately covers Casey, but the Cowboy kicks out at 2! Mantell spends the next few minutes pummeling Casey, but can’t put him away.
Casey mounts a comeback soon after, and stuns Mantell with a flurry of rights and lefts, then whips him into the corner. Casey follows him in with a big clothesline, then grabs Mantell, and drives him into the mat with the Bulldog! That’s all she wrote for the Dutchman, and Casey gets the 1, 2, 3!
Montez talks about a team that we’ll see in action next, made up of Steve “Dr. Death” Williams and Jim “Anvil” Neidhart. He puts over both men, talking about their football backgrounds, Williams at Oklahoma University, and Neidhart playing pre-season games for both the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys. Montez says that these are two of the toughest men in the sport.
We see footage of both men, Williams from Mid-South Wrestling in the early 80s, and Neidhart up in Calgary in Stampede Wrestling.
STEVE “DR. DEATH” WILLIAMS & JIM “ANVIL” NEIDHART defeat RICK MCGRAW & ROBERTO SOTO. Williams and Neidhart pummel their opponents, methodically wearing them down, before Williams plants McGraw with the Oklahoma Stampede for the 1, 2, 3. On commentary, Montez says that the ref could’ve counted to 100, McGraw wasn’t going anywhere!
Montez is then joined at ringside by Williams and Neidhart[/b]. Neidhart says he heard the Guerreros out here earlier, talking about the Southwest tag team titles. He says that if the Guerreros want the belt, they’re going to have to go through him and Doc to get them, and Neidhart doesn’t think they can!
MIL MASCARAS beats DYNAMITE KID. After an action-packed match, Dynamite Kid has the upper hand after hitting a low blow, when JAY YOUNGBLOOD comes down to ringside, distracting Dynamite! This allows Mascaras to roll Dynamite up for the 1, 2, 3!
Mascaras leaves the ring, and Jay Youngblood dives into the ring, and starts trading blows with Dynamite Kid as the show goes off the air!
Montez quickly wraps things up as Youngblood and Dynamite Kid tear into each other in the ring. Montez hypes next week’s show as the credits begin to roll.
