WWA Wrestling taped at WTBS Channel 17 Studios Saturday morning March 2, 1985.
WWA's World's Finest Wrestling opens with a instrumental musical introduction featuring clips well known wrestling stars (Blackjack Mulligan, Brisco Brothers, Mongolian Stomper, Billy Robinson, the Spoiler and others over the years. We join the announcing team of play-by-play announcer Les Thatcher, color commentator Bob Caudle and interviewer Barbara Clary who welcome wrestling fans to the World's Finest Wrestling program. Les tells the fans that today's main event features a 4 man tag team match with Blackjack Mulligan & Mr. Wresting 2# teaming against the tag team of the Mongolian Stomper & Canadian Lumberjack Jos Leduc under the management of Rock Hunter. The other wrestlers appearing in action on today's show including the debut of the tag team the Beautiful Batten Twins with their valet Angel, Canadian Lumberjack Jos Leduc w/mgr. Rock Hunter, Pez Whatley & Billy Robinson all in singles action.
Bob & Les discuss the one night tournaments to determine the World's Junior Championship as well as the World's Tag Team Championship in Atlanta, Georgia at the Omni on Saturday, March 9, 1985. The following night in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Coliseum, the one night tournament for the World's Heavyweight Championship will be held at the Coliseum. Participants in the junior high tournament include Akira Maeda, 'Crippler' Ken Timbs, 'Mr. Electricity' Steve Regal & Terry Taylor. Teams entered in the tag team tournament include the Beautiful Batten Twins, Brisco Brothers (Jack & Jerry), the Fabulous Ones (Stan Lane & Steve Keirn), Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne), Percy Pringle's Dynasty (Killer Kahn & King Konga the Barbarian) and Rock Hunter Organization the Canadian Lumberjack Jos LeDuc & the Mongolian Stomper). In Sunday's tournament, the participants are Blackjack Mulligan, Billy Robinson, Don Diamond, Mr. Wrestling II, Pez Whatley, the Grappler, the Spoiler and a TBA international superstar to be announced during next week's program.

4 Man Tag Team Match. The Beautiful Batten Twins (Bart & Brad) w/valet Angel beat the Kelly Twins (Mike & Pat). (8:59). Brad gets the pin fall over Pat.
Following the match, Barbara speaks with the Beautiful Batten Twins with the lovely valet Angel. The Battens feel the WWA should just hand them the tag titles as they are the most beautiful & talented team in the WWA.
Commercial break includes a wrestler interview newcomer 'Lethal' Larry Cameron with his valet Dark Journey
Single Match. The Canadian Lumberjack Jos Leduc w/mgr. Rock Hunter defeated the Italian Stallion with a bear hug. (5:22).
Hunter & Leduc are joined at ringside by the Mongolian Stomper to comment on the tag tournament next Saturday night here in Atlanta.
Commercial break includes wrestler interview with Masked Grappler. He reminds the fans that he is THE favorite to win the World's Heavyweight Belt. And when you are the best, they call you the Grappler!.
Single Match. Pez Whatley time limit draw with 'Lethal' Larry Cameron w/valet Dark Journey. (10:00). The veteran Whatley had his hands full with the powerful Cameron who also did not mind stalling on the ring floor when the going got tough.
Commercial break includes wrestler interview with the Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) on the World's Tag Team Tournament. Fabs say they are the most talented & athletic of any of the teams & fell the tag titles are coming to them.
Single Match. Billy Robinson sleepered George South. (6:32).
Commercial break includes wrestler interview with 'Mr. Electricity' Steve Regal who says he is a shoe in to win the junior heavyweight title next Saturday night.
Challenge 4 Man Tag Team Match. Blackjack Mulligan & Mr. Wrestling II won by disq. over Konga the Barbarian & Killer Kahn by disq. when mgr. Percy Pringle III handed Konga a steel chair. Wild match as Mulligan wanted to get his hands on the hated manager as well as Konga & Kahn.
Commercial break includes interview with the Masked Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne) on the tag team tournament. Davis admits they are the smallest tag team in the tourney but they are the best tag team. Wayne says they will be the champions
We return to the desk where Les, Bob & Barbara are joined by an angry Blackjack who challenges Pringle and any of his men to get back into the ring with him. The trio then run down the action on today's show. They remind that fans that next week for exciting World's Finest Wrestling.
