MERCER: Welcome to World Class Championship Wrestling! We are just hours away from the 5th annual Parade of Champions at Texas Stadium! Today, you'll see many wrestlers who will be integral components of that super spectacular! We have two big main events on today's program! In a grudge match, Austin Idol will take on the man who cost him theAmerican Title, former World champion Terry Funk! American Champion Ronnie Garvin and newcomer Brad Armstrong will take on two of gary hart's men, Kabuki & the Iron Sheik! In a match that would be a main event on most TV programs, Big John Studd & the Ragin Bull man, Manny Fernandez will take on the Gentleman from England, Chris Adams & the Arriba man, Tito Santana! You know, the most exciting thing about the huge Parade of Champions tomorrow at Texas Stadium is that Kerry & Kevin Von Erich will have a homecoming to Texas and World Class as they defend their WWF Tag Team Titles! Their opponents will be in our first match!
Chavo & Hector Guerrero vs. Ricky Rice & Manny Vialobos: The Guerreros look more than ready for Kerry & Kevin as they take apart two capable opponents. Mercer's commentary is full of gushing praise for Kerry & Kevin and grudgingly pointing out the skills of Chavo & Hector. Chavo pins Vialobos after a German suplex.
VTR:
Kerry & Kevin Von Erich stand in front of the WWF logo, WWF Tag belts around their waists.
KEVIN: We're less than 24 hours away, Kerry!
KERRY: Man, I am so excited about coming back to Texas Stadium!
KEVIN: We've got Chavo & Hector for our WWF Tag belts. Man, Kerry, I just really don't know what has happened to those guys! We've known the Guerreros all our lives and we always got along with them. I guess jealousy set in!
KERRY: Guerreros, our parents raised us to be happy when our friends succeeded. If you guys had won a title on network television, Kevin and me would have been the first ones to shake your hands and congratulate you! I guess you two don't do things like that!
KEVIN: I'll tell you one thing: There's no way we're gonna let you guys ruin our return to WCCW and Texas Stadium! We won't let our great hometown fans down that way! Our parents will be there, cousin Lance will be there, and thousands of friends from the Metroplex will be there! There's no way that we''l let those people down, Chavo and Hector! People, if you haven't got your tickets, you'd better hurry while there are still a few available! Kerry and me want to see all of our great fans tomorrow!

FRITZ: Friends, I'm here at Texas Stadium, where tomorrow at 2 p.m., you'll see an incredible Parade of Champions spectacular! Matchmaker Ed Watt and I have been working long hours to put this thing together and we're very proud of this card!
What I'm most excited about is that my boys, Kerry & Kevin, have got special permission from the World Wrestling Federation to defend the WWF Tag Team Titles against Chavo & Hector Guerrero on this card! I know that all of our fans will want to be here to give Kerry and Kevin a special welcome back to World Class! Also, the NWA World Champion Ricky Steamboat, one of the greatest athletes I have ever seen, will defend the title against our American Champion Ron Garvin, two out of three falls, 90 minute time limit! As good as Steamboat is and that's mighty good, I think Ronnie will win the title from him tomorrow afternoon! Also, the American Tag Team Titles will be defended in a Texas Tornado match as the Killer Bees take on the New Breed! All the way from Puerto Rico, Carlos Colon will defend the Caribbean Title against the double tough Samoan Sika!
And here are the rest of the matches we've signed:
BUNKHOUSE MATCH: SID VICIOUS VS. OUTLAW RON BASS
LOSER WILL RIDE A JACKASS AROUND TEXAS STADIUM!
MEXICAN DEATH MATCH: RAGIN BULL VS. TITO SANTANA
TRIPLE DOME OF TERROR MATCH:
THE FABULOUS BLONDES VS. LANCE VON ERICH, THE SIMPSONS, & THE YOUNGBLOODS
CHRIS ADAMS & AUSTIN IDOL VS. BIG JOHN STUDD & TERRY FUNK

CAPTAIN'S MATCH -The fans will select a member from each of the teams in the Triple Dome of Terror as captain. The winner of the match will give their team a significant advantage in the match!
Folks, there's something for everybody on the Parade of Champions! Time is running out! If you still don't have tickets, there's a number on the screen where you can call and rectify that situation now!
END VTR
New Breed (Sean Royal & Chris Champion) vs. SD Jones & Savannah Jack: The New Breed face two very solid pros, but the younger team's speed and teamwork is just too much. Champion pins Jones after he and Royal execute a double team manuver off the top rope that Mercer doesn't have a name for(and I don't either, quite honestly).
COMMERCIAL
Killer Bees(Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) vs. Tony Falk & Tony “Hurricane” Zane: The American Tag Team Champions tune up for the Parade of Champions and look awesome as Brunzell pins Zane after the big dropkick.
MERCER: Right now, let's go to Amarillo, Texas where one of the all time greats has something to say...
VTR:
Terry Funk is standing in front of a corral filled with horses.
FUNK: I'm here at the Double Ross Ranch, but it won't be long until I'm in the Sportatorium! On this week's World Class Championship Wrestling, it's me against Austin Idol! Idol, it's time I finish you once and for all! Last time we were in Dallas together, you got carried out on a stretcher! I thought I was done with you, but you came back! Even if I don't finish you off this week, your time is running out, boy! At Texas Stadium, I'm teaming up with the biggest man in wrestling, Big John Studd to take on you and that Englishman, Chris Adams! Fe Fi Fo Fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman! Adams, you've been a thorn in my side, too! But with Big John on my side, there's not a doubt in my mind that you boys are done for! When I'm done finishing those two off, I'm setting my sights on the American Title! It should be mine anyhow and, Ronnie Garvin, it will be mine soon enough! I've beat 'em all from Jack Brisco to Harley Race to Dusty Rhodes to Fritz Von Erich! There shouldn't be a doubt in any of your minds that I'm the best in World Class today!

MERCER: Tomorrow at the Parade of Champions, the Ragin Bull takes on his hated rival Tito Santana in a Mexican Death Match! Right now, let's hear from the Bull as he explains a Mexican Death Match!
VTR:
Manny Fernandez stands in the ring of an a empty Sportatorium. Holding a rhinestone studded sombrero.
RAGIN BULL: The promoters tell me that a lot of people have never seen a Mexican Death Match and wanna know what it's all about! Well, daddy, it can be the baddest match you'll ever see! We take this sombrero, something my grandfather gave to me and something that means a lot to my family. You put the sombrero on a 12 foot pole in the corner of the ring. The first man to climb the pole and come down with the sombrero will win the match! That sounds really simple! Here's the thing, Tito Santana! I'd rather die than to see you put your greasy hands on my grandad's hat! So, you'll have to almost kill me before you will be able to climb the pole. This means so much to me that I'll run you over like I'm a Mack truck and you're an armadillo to get up that pole! There's no time limit or No DQ! The last time I wrestled in one of these matches, my opponent had to have a blood transfusion after it was over and he was in a neck brace for six weeks!
Big John Studd & “Ragin Bull” Manny Fernandez vs. Chris Adams & Tito Santana: An all out brawl! Referee Bronko Lubich finally has no choice and disqualifies both teams!
COMMERCIAL
Brad Armstrong & Ron Garvin vs. Kabuki & Iron Sheik (w/Gary Hart): The American Champ teams with a newcomer to WCCW against two of Gary Hart's deadliest wrestlers. After several minutes of back and forth action, Brad hits a Russian leg sweep on Kabuki to score the win for his team! The fans pop big for Armstrong and Texas might have just found its newest wrestling hero!
VTR:
NWA World Champion Rick Steamboat is standing in the WTBS Studio with the belt slung over his shoulder.
STEAMBOAT: Tomorrow afternoon, I'm bringing the World Title to Texas Stadium. Ronnie Garvin, I know how tough you are and I know about all the great wrestlers you've beaten! I paid a heavy price for this title! I paid it in blood, sweat, and tears! Are you willing to pay that price, Ron Garvin? Are you ready for the Dragon? I question if you really are! I respect you and if you find a way to win my belt, I'll shake your hand and say “Congratulations!” I just really don't see it happening, Ronnie! I'm walking in with the title and I plan on walking out with it!
MERCER: A very confident World Champion! Here's the complete card for tomorrow's Parade of Champions:

Chris Adams comes to ringside And starts leading the cheers for Idol! Funk goes for the spinning toehold a few times, but Idol manages to kick him off each time. Funk does manage to get Idol up for an atomic drop, but Idol blocks it, grabs Funk's leg, and applies the Las Vegas leglock! Studd jumps in and stomps on Idol's chest to break the hold!
