- Vladimir Pietrov once again issued his open challenge which was answered by the high flying Terry Snuka! Snuka was game and hit Pietrov with several dropkicks early, but Pietrov didn't leave his feet. He caught Snuka coming off the ropes with clothesline, and then finished him off with his Russian Hammer for the pin at 1:45. After the match was over, Ivan Koloff got on the house microphone and said that this past Saturday night in Knoxville, Doug Furnas was foolish enough to accept the challenge, and that on the 29th, Furnas will be squashed like a bug!
- Smoky Mountain Champion, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Ole Anderson fought to a no-contest at 14:29 after both men had shoved down referee Mark Curtis so they could keep slugging it out. Before the decision, the two went back and forth with a lot of intensity, and showed the fans that more matches between the two of them will be something to look for.
- Main Event - Cage Match for the SMW Tag Team Titles -
The Jive Tones w/ Ron Wright vs. The Rock and Roll Express
The match was what everyone was expecting from it, as both teams gave all they had to come out on top. Both Shaska Whatley and Ricky Morton were busted open in the course of the match, and neither team wanted to back down and give up the advantage. Eventually, The Jive Tones took control and dominated for a bit before Morton was able to tag in Gibson. Shortly after, all four men were in the ring battling. Ron Wright threw his cane over the top of the cage to Conway, who lined up to nail Morton with it. He took a big swing which Morton ducked, and ended up blasting Whatley in the head with it, sending him crashing down! As Conway realized what he had just done, he turned around and was met with a double drop kick from Morton and Gibson and was pinned at 20:03! The Rock and Roll Express are once again the Smoky Mountain Tag Team Champions!
The Rock and Roll's left and Ron Wright came into the cage berating Tiger Conway Jr. for the loss. He stomped around screaming and pointing at Conway. Conway tried to plead his case, but Wright was hearing none of it and fired him on the spot! Conway was mouthing off at Wright while Wright left the ring. He then started arguing with Whatley, but Whatley seemed like he was trying to calm him down. Eventually, the two of them left too.
