Ivan Koloff got the house microphone and said that the challenger earlier in the night was not good enough, and Pietrov wants another challenge. Afterwards, Ivan Koloff stated that no one can match up with Vladimir Pietrov.
- Smoky Mountain Tag Team Champions, The Jive Tones retained over The Rock & Roll Express at 25:40. Ron Wright, while in the straight jacket, had climbed the ring steps and got on the apron. Ricky Morton went to pop him, but was grabbed from behind by Conway Jr. and ran into Wright, causing their heads to crack together. Conway rolled up Morton and pinned him with his feet on the ropes.
