ICW TV 4 -1-88 debut

ICW (International Championship Wrestling) is taped live from WDBD (Fox affiliate) studio Saturday morning April 1,1988. Welcoming the fans to today's inaugural show are the announcing team of Charlie Platt & Rick Stewart. Ring announcer is Jack Curtis Jr. Charlie & Rick tells the fans ICW is going state wide here in Mississippi. Action begins Monday night. Here is the schedule for this week. Monday. Vicksburg & Greenville. Tuesday, Columbus & Clarksdale. Wednesday, Meridian & Greenville. Thursday, Biloxi . Friday, Jackson. Saturday morning weekly live tv taping. Saturday evening Natchez & Hattiesburg (this week only). You can find ICW Wrestling on Greenville's Ch. 15, Greenwood's Ch. 6, Columbus Ch. 4, Meridian's Ch. 11 & Biloxi's Ch. 13.

Charlie says Thursday night in Biloxi in the Coast Coliseum, there will be a one night tournament for the new ICW tag team belts. Teams signed include the Mod Squad, Mike George & Jerry Oates, KIller Kahn & Alexis Smirnoff & the team of Plowboy Friaizer & Cousin Junior.

Up next is an interview with the ICW Heavyweight Champion The Spoiler who is accompanied by his manager Rock Hunter. They comment on highlights of the match from last Saturday night where the Spoiler defeated Paul Orndorff for the title. Hunter says the Spoiler will only wrestle the top competition.
