The Palm Beach Playboy hits the ring to Tiffany’s ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ and hits a few dance moves, annoying the crowd to no end. He’s tapped on the shoulder and turns right into a right hand from Johnny Smith. Smith shoots Scotty off the ropes and clotheslines him, and then connects with running leg whip across th chest. Smith hits a series of suplexes, but Scotty is able to dodge a flying leg drop. Scotty the Body is able to pull Johnny Smith into a Reverse DDT for the three count! Eric Bischoff: I hate to admit it Scotty, but that was quite an impressive performance!
Scotty the Body: I told you that the Palm Beach Playboy was the most exciting wrestler in the sport today. Nobody wrestles like me! Nobody’s as fine as me - but one person comes close. And that’s the gorgeous Magnificent Mimi!
Magnificent Mimi walks into the Crow’s Nest area where Scotty the Body oogles here for a few moments.
Scotty the Body: Magnificent Mimi, you’re looking more beautiful than ever - and you’re here for a very special reason, aren’t you?
Magnificent Mimi: That’s exactly right. I’m here on Wrestling Warriors to unleash Maximum Magnificence on the sport of professional wrestling. You’ve already seen my Magnificent Malenkos - but there’s even more to come.
Scotty the Body: What Mimi is referring to Bischoff is that I’m going to be otherwise occupied tomorrow night winning the Super Juniors ‘88 tournament. So, Mimi and myself have struck a deal to make sure you have someone to carry you through the TV special.
Eric Bischoff: And who might that be?
Magnificent Mimi: Eric, you’ll find out at the exact same time as all of these people find out - tomorrow night on the TV special. The Magnificent Mr. M will be joining you and enlightening both you and these people about the future of Maximum Magnificence!
Eric Bischoff: The Magnificent Mr. M? Very interesting! I guess we’ll all find out who this Mr. M is together tomorrow night, fans. Also, I can announce that tomorrow night, we’ll see the impressive team of Rick and Scott Steiner in action for the very first time here in the IWA! Let’s get back to the ring.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match two
The Young Pistols vs. Flyin’ Brian and Chris Benoit
The fans are booing right off the bat as Tracy Smothers and Steve Armstrong wave their rebel flags in front of the largely multi-ethnic crowd here in San Diego. ‘Action! Not Words’ by Def Leppard brings Flyin’ Brian and Chris Benoit down to the ring to a big ovation - and they dropkick both Pistons as they were waving those rebel flags. This ends up being a fast-paced match between four gifted young wrestlers. At the end, Flyin’ Brian catches Steve Armstrong’s foot when he goes for a super kick and levels him with an incredible spinning clothesline. Flyin’ Brian climbs up top and connects with the Air Pillman for the three count! Flyin’ Brian and Chris Benoit get a huge win and some serious momentum going into the Super Juniors ‘88 special tomorrow night!
Winners Flyin’ Brian and Chris Benoit via pinfall @ 6:45

Chris Cruise: Fans, joining me right now -
Stan Hansen: You shut yer stinkin’ mouth, I don’t need you askin’ me nothin’! I got a message one of these IWA rasslers. I’ve seen this big blonde punk Dan Spivey - everyone thinks he’s unstoppable! He ain’t unstoppable. Yer lookin’ at the only unstoppable force in wrestling! Spivey, you like to bully little prelim rasslers? That don’t make you tough! Surviving a fight with Stan Hansen makes you tough, boy! If you got the guts, meet me in Los Angeles tomorrow night and we’ll see how tough you are! EUUUUUUUUUUWWWW!
Chris Cruise: Unbelievable fans - Stan Hansen has just challenged ‘Dangerous’ Dan Spivey to face him tomorrow night on the Super Juniors ‘88 TV special on FNN and TSN!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match three - Bruce Hart vs. ‘US Male’ Curtis Thompson
The US Male gets heat with everyone but Scotty the Body, who insists on commentary that Eric Bischoff and all of these fans are just jealous of Curtis Thompson. Bruce gives him his most difficult match thus far - but he’s derailed when he spots that masked man jumping the rail again. The eldest Hart brother dares him to bring it on, but the masked man points at Bruce. From behind, Curtis Thompson pulls Bruce Hart into a neck-breaker! Flyin’ Brian, Owen Hart and Chris Benoit are charging down to ringside now, but the masked man is already back over the rail and has taken off! In the ring, Curtis Thompson plants Bruce Hart with the reverse piledriver and scores the three count! The masked man screws over the Harts once again without even physically attack them this time! The Hart contingent tend to the fallen Bruce Hart after the bell while the US Male flexes on the entrance ramp.
Winner ‘US Male’ Curtis Thompson by pinfall at 7:31

Chris Cruise: Joining me is the World Heavyweight Champion. Bad News, last week on this program, Bruiser Brody vowed not just to take your title. He promised to break your bones and inflict other bodily harm.
Bad News Allen: Bruiser Brody is used to intimidating the people he gets in the ring. Heck, I even heard a guy once ran out of a cage match with him! Listen up Brody, you’re lookin’ at a man who’s never run from any man. People run from me. Tomorrow night, I ain’t backin’ up one inch. I’m gonna fight you. If I gotta hurt you, I’ll do it without a second thought. This belt is mine. It’s staying mine.
Chris Cruise: Bad News Allen is ready for the fight of his life! He faces Bruiser Brody tomorrow night live on TSN and FNN!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match four - Super Juniors ‘88 quarter finals
American Love Machine vs. Dean Malenko w/ Magnificent Mimi
The masked Love Machine gets on the fans nerves here as he tries and fails to get them to rally behind him. He’s a bit over-eager and the fans aren’t buying it. Meanwhile, Dean Malenko no-sells the fans and is all business as he tries to keep Love Machine on the ground. These two have a good little TV match, which ends when Malenko catches Love Machine in a fisherman buster. Dean Malenko then locks in the STF and it’s only seconds before the American Love Machine submits! Dean Malenko ignores the referee after the bell and keeps the STF locked in until Magnificent Mimi taps him on the shoulder. Mimi then raises Dean Malenko’s arms high in the air!
Winner Dean Malenko by submission @ 7:52

TV Main Event - International Tag Team Titles
Fabulous Rougeaus vs. Konnan and Vampiro
The lucha duo of Konnan and Vampiro have momentum on their side early on as they keep the action fast and furious with quick tags. Vampiro slings Raymond Rougeau into the corner with a vicious thud. Raymond wobbles out of the corner and Konnan drives him into the canvas with a big running headbutt. On the other side of the ring, Vampiro connects with another headbutt Jacques and then hits the ropes for a diving leg drop! Konnan and Vampiro then hit the ropes at the same time and connect with the double leg drops across the throat and stomach! Konnan and Vampiro have the fans on their feet here as they clean house on the Rougeaus!
Jacques and Raymond roll out to the floor now and they are throwing a fit. Finally after a few minutes of strategy, the International Tag Team Champions get back on the apron and Raymond steps into the ring so this match cans start properly. Raymond and Vampiro start it off. Vampiro gets Rougeau flustered with his hit and run offensive style. Vampiro comes off the ropes with a leaping lariat and looks to have the three count, but Jacques is in to break the count.
Vampiro then makes the tag to Konnan, who comes and levels Rougeau with a running knee to the face as Raymond gets to his knees. Konnan picks Raymond up and into a belly-to-belly suplex to cover again, but Jacques is in to break the count a second time by stomping Konnan’s back. Konnan goes after Rougeau with a side kick, but that allows Raymond to double sledge him from behind.
Raymond Rougeau shoots Konnan off the ropes for the flying head-scissors. He rolls on top for the cover, but Konnan is able to kick out. Konnan gets back to his feet and blocks a cross-body attempt by Raymond and turns it into a back-breaker. Konnan then makes the tag to Vampiro, who comes off the top rope with a flying cross-body splash! Vampiro with the cover here, but again Jacques is in to break the count! Vampiro hits the ropes again, but this time Raymond drills him with a headbutt. Raymond tags in Jacques, who quickly flattens Vampiro with a running knee! Jacques Rougeau goes for the cover, but Vampiro is able to get the shoulder up. Jacques applies the side headlock and he has Vampiro trapped in the center of the ring. Vampiro looks to be in trouble here, but turnabout is fair play as Konnan enters and hits a senton on Jacques to break the hold!
Both men are now crawling back to their corners and reaching for the hot tag. Jacques gets to his corner first and tags in Raymond, who manages to grab Vampiro by the right leg and drag him back into the center of the ring. Konnan doesn’t like that at all so he enters the ring and drills Raymond with a side kick. Jacques is back in with a cross-body block that sends both he and Konnan tumbling out to the floor. In the ring, Vampiro mounts a comeback and hits the ropes for a running bulldog that connects! Vampiro then goes up top for a flying elbow but Raymond moves out of the way! Vampiro is rolling around the canvas in pain here as Raymond picks him up and into the gutwrench suplex and covers him for the three count! A hell of a match, but the Rougeaus get their hands raised.
Winners International Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Rougeaus by pinfall @ 15:06

Eric Bischoff: Fans, what a main event! You’re only going to see that type of action in the IWA. We’re almost out of time, but let’s show you now the semi finals of the Super Junior tournament:
FLYIN’ BRIAN V JOE MALENKO
TIGER MASK II V DAN KROFFAT
CHRIS BENOIT V EL HIJO DEL SANTO
SCOTTY THE BODY V DEAN MALENKO
Eric Bischoff: Scotty, you were friendly with Magnificent Mimi out here earlier - but I don’t think her man Dean Malenko will be so friendly when you two square off tomorrow.
Scotty the Body: Listen Bischoff, Magnificent Mimi and myself have a business arrangement. She already paid me for my commentary spot - umm, I mean, I donated my commentary spot to her Mr. M out of the goodness of my heart. In terms of the tournament, both Dean Malenko and myself understand that it’s every man for himself. I’ll even console Mimi after I knock her man out of the tournament!
Eric Bischoff: Good luck with that! Fans, join us tomorrow night here on FNN and TSN for the Super Juniors ‘88 TV special at 7pm - from Los Angeles! Not only will we have the tournament, but we’ll also have Bad News Allen defending the IWA World Heavyweight Title against Bruiser Brody. Plus, Rick and Scott Steiner debut and we’ll see if ‘Dangerous’ Dan Spivey answers Stan Hansen’s challenge! We’ll see you tomorrow night!
