We see Randy Savage, and Miss Elizabeth.
Savage, “‘Million Dollar Man’! I don't think so! ‘Zero Dollar Man’ is more like it! Yes it is! That’s how much of a chance you have to beat me! Piper, you just keep Davis out of the way, you get out of my way, ohhhh yeaaaa!”
We see Ted DiBiase and Virgil.
DiBiase, “Savage, you better worry about Piper! He’s more dangerous to you than I am! I’m not losing this title! HAHAHAHAHAHA!”
We see Roddy Piper dressed in a referee’s shirt.
Piper, “DiBiase, Piper, and you too, Davis. ‘Hot Rod’ is here to control things! I’m calling it right down the middle, may the best man win!”
Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura open the show.
McMahon, “Jesse, we are LIVE on NBC!”
Ventura, “My movie career may just turn into a TV one too! McMahon, I can’t wait for tonight. I want to see what happens between Piper and Savage!”
McMahon, “I think Piper is going to call the match down the middle, and Randy Savage is going to be the NEW WWF Champion!”
Ventura, “I don’t think Piper can control himself. I think DiBiase wins because of Piper!”
McMahon, “We’ll find out later tonight. Let’s get things underway with Bobby Heenan’s new man.”
Match #1
Brad Rheingans and referee Joey Marella wait in the ring. Bobby “The Brain” Heenan comes to the ring, and takes the mic from Howard Finkel.
Heenan, “Out of the way humanoid! ! I told you I had a new member of the family. Let me introduce a multi time Champion, ‘The King’ Harley Race!”
We hear,
Harley Race comes to the ring. He is wearing a crown, and a purple robe. Vince and Jesse point out that Race is a former champion in several organizations. He and Rheingans lock up. Brad is a great mat wrestler, and he holds his own. Eventually, Race takes over. He dominates the action, and wins with the piledriver.
Winner-Harley Race
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with the Von Erich Brothers.
Okerlund, “With me are, ‘The Pride of the Lone Star State,, the Von Erich Brothers. Gentlemen, you meet the Hart Foundation, the winner of that match meets Demolition, for the WWF Tag Team Titles, at Wrestlemania IV. Are you ready?”
Kevin, “Gene, the Harts are good, but we came here to wrestle the best. Kerry and I want those titles, We’ll go through whoever we need to to get them.”
Kerry, “Kev’s right, the fans are n our sides, and we love them. Hart, and Neidhart, are tough, and, that little runt, Jimmy Hart wants to stick his nose into things, but we're ready for him too!”
Okerlund, “The Texans are ready! Now let’s hear from Jimmy Hart, and the Hart Foundation!”
We see Jimmy Hart, and the Hart Foundation in the interview area.
J. Hart, “The Von Erich Brothers! HAHAHAHA! Two brain dead Texans! My Hart Foundation is going to toy with these morons, it’ll be the easiest match of our career!”
Match #2
Number One Contenders Match
The Von Erich Brothers vs. The Hart Foundation w/Jimmy Hart
Kerry and Bret Hart open the contest. Both men are sharp, and the match is fast paced. Kerry whips Hart into the ropes and clamps on the iron claw! Bret fights his way to the ropes, and referee Earl Hebner calls for the break. Both men go back and forth with neither man getting an edge. Neidhart tags in and tries an aggressive approach. It works for a time, but Kerry rallies with rights and lefts. He tags in his brother, and Kevin goes to work. We have a slugfest. All four men end up in the ring. In the confusion, Kevin climbs to the top rope. He hits a flying body press on Neidhart. Hebner counts 1...2...3! The Von Erich's are going to Wrestlemania!
Winners-The Von Erich Brothers
We see a logo that reads “Wrestlemania IV”.
We see Donald Trump standing in the Trump Casino in Atlantic City.
Trump, “My name is Donald Trump, and this is the Trump Casino. On Sunday afternoon, April 23, ‘Wrestlemania IV’ comes to my casino. Atlantic City, and the Trump Casino, have become the center of the entertainment world, and Wrestlemania will only add to the greatness.”
We go back to Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura.
McMahon, “Trump Casino, and Wrestlemania IV, a marriage made in entertainment heaven Jesse!”
Ventura, “Not too many people impress me, but Donald Trump does. This is going to be a great event.”
McMahon, “Sunday, April 23, 4:00 PM, ‘Wrestlemania IV’! Now let’s move on to tonight’s main event. The WWF Title is on the line, the ‘Million Dollar Man’ vs. the ‘Macho Man’ with two referees!”
Ventura, “Yea, Danny Davis, a trained official, and Roddy Piper, a certified lunatic!”
McMahon, “Roddy Piper, and man who will control the action!”
Match #3
WWF Championship
Two Referees-Danny Davis and Roddy Piper
Ted DiBiase (Champion) w/Virgil vs. “Macho Man” Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth
This is a combustible situation. Davis begins to lecture the ‘Macho Man’. Piper gets involved, and reads the riot act. The bell hasn’t even rung yet. They lock up, and Savage goes to work. He drives a knee into DiBiase’s mid-section. Davis steps in, and backs up Savage. Piper gets between Davis, and Savage. Back to the match. DiBiase lands a boot to Randy's lower abdomen. Now the Champion has the edge. He works over Savage, and the Challenger is in trouble. DiBiase backs Savage into the corner. He starts to choke. Piper counts, and then pushes DiBiase aside. Davis berates Piper. Randy goes berzerk. He attacks the “Million Dollar Man”. Now we have a pier six brawl. Savage whips the Champion into the ropes and clamps on a sleeper. Davis begins to count. He claims it is a choke. Piper tries to stop Davis. This causes Savage to release the hold. Davis, and Piper are nose to nose. Piper throws and big right hand that stuns Davis. Danny fights back! The two referees are brawling. In the confusion, Virgil tosses and object to DiBiase. He decks Savage! At the same time, Piper decks Davis! Piper turns to see DiBiase covering Savage. Roddy counts three! The “Million Dollar Man” retains the Title. Savage, and Davis are both out. DiBiase and Virgil leave the ring area as the crowd boos loudly.
Winner-Ted DiBiase
Vince McMahon, and Jesse Ventura are in the announce position.
McMahon, “What a travesty Jesse!”
Ventura, “No way McMahon! Roddy Piper did what he promised, he called it right down the middle! He counted three on Savage!”
McMahon, “Jesse, you’re impossible! We have one more match, let’s see Billy Jack Haynes in action.”
Match #4
Billy Jack Haynes vs. The Super Assassin
The powerful man from Oregon goes right after the big masked man. The Assassin fights back, but Haynes is too much. He wins with the full Nelson.
Winner-Billy Jack Haynes
Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura close the show.
McMahon, “Jesse, we created more questions than we answered tonight. The WWF Title situation is in controversy. The ‘Million Dollar Man’ is still the Champion, but Randy Savage is still right there.”
Ventura, “Ted DiBiase is the Champion, he beat Randy Savage, without any help from the officials!”
McMahon, “Jesse, you’re impossible! Finally, we know when, and where, ‘Wrestlemania IV” will take place. You know it will be an exciting road to the event!”
