‘Explosion’ by Van Halen plays over the following highlights: Owen Hart coming off the top rope with a flying dropkick on Gama Singh, Rick Martel with a vicious clothesline on Jimmy Garvin, The Rougeaus raising their arms in victory, Chris Benoit with the diving headbutt off the top rope, Bad News Allen back-dropping Angel of Death over the top rope, Terry Gordy with the pile-driver on Tenryu, and Rollerball Rocco connecting with the Rollerball Splash on Johnny Smith.

Ed Whalen: Well, hi there, ho there, fans and welcome to another exciting edition of the IWA’s Stampede Wrestling. As you saw at the top of the show, there was a wild brawl to end last week and as a result, the commission HAS barred Terry Gordy, the One Man Gang, Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody from the Pavilion tonight. However, Michael P.S. Hayes is here and in our main event, he’ll be facing off with my main man Bad News Allen. Bruce Hart is also here and he has a surprise partner as he tangles with the Sons of the Tiger. Let’s go up to the ring!
Owen gets his usual warm reception from the fans, but he’ll need to have eyes in the back of his head tonight as he takes on the much larger Angel of Death with Fit Finlay in his corner. Owen uses his speed to dodge the Angel early on, and connects with a big dropkick that even sends the big man sprawling. When Fit Finlay trips Owen coming off the ropes, Bruce Hart storms down and chases him back to the dressing room. Angel of Death is now signaling for the clawhold, but Owen sees it coming and dodges. The champion hits the ropes and drills the Angel with a spinning wheel kick right to the jaw and covers for the three count. What a win for Owen!
Winner: Owen Hart by pinfall @ 8:09

Jim Davies is standing by with Jacques and Raymond Rougeau backstage.
Jim Davies: Gentlemen, it’s been signed. You will get another shot the Samoans in Vancouver at the All Star Assault event on Sunday, January 29.
Jacques Rougeau: We can’t wait to get ‘em back in the ring, Jim. You know, a lot of changes are going on around here. This territory is growing leaps and bounds, Stampede Wrestling is back on TV. But the constant in Canadian Wrestling will always be the Rougeau Brothers. There are a lot of great wrestling families in this sport, but the Rougeaus are the marquee name! Soon, we’ll have the gold belts around our waists again!
Ray Rougeau: We’ll never forget what the Samoans did to our brother Armand. It doesn’t matter who they have in their corner. Abu Wizal, you’re no distraction to us! We’re gonna kick your Samoans’ butts!
Jim Davies: It’s coming up in just two weeks - the All Star Assault in Vancouver!
Back in the Pavilion, we have Rollerball in the ring with his masked Sons of the Tiger team Black Tiger II and Tiger Mask II. Now, ‘Danger Zone’ begins playing because here come:
BRUCE HART… AND FLYIN’ BRIAN PILLMAN!!!
The fans are on their feet as Flyin’ Brian makes his return to Stampede Wrestling after a lengthy absence. Flyin’ Brian showcases his incredible aerial arsenal early scoring a near pin off a leaping clothesline to Black Tiger II. Bruce Hart makes the tag and comes in like a house on fire, still furious over Rocco’s vicious attack on Chris Benoit last week. However, the Tigers manage to isolate him in their corner with quick tags. Both masked Tigers are so impressive, with their array of suplexes. While Black Tiger mirrors a lot of the lucha style, Tiger Mask II has perfected some of the original Tiger Mask’s signature suplexes.
Tiger Mask II connects with a Tiger Suplex on Bruce, and then makes the tag to Black Tiger II. Scaling the top rope, Black Tiger II flies off with a frog splash, but Bruce Hart rolls away and finally makes the hot tag to Flyin’ Brian. Pillman leaps over the top rope with a drills Black Tiger with a running clothesline that sends him 360. Flyin’ Brian is up top now - but Rollerball Rocco just blatantly shoved him off in full view of the referee! That’s a disqualification!
Winners: Bruce Hart and Flyin’ Brian Pillman by disqualification @ 10:04
Rollerball Rocco is in the ring now, and drills Flyin’ Brian with a European uppercut. Now, Bruce Hart is tackled by Black Tiger II as Tiger Mask II lays in some kicks.
Tiger Mask II plants Bruce Hart with the Tiger Suplex once again, and now all three gang up on Flyin’ Brian. Pillman is fighting back with everything he has against all three - until Owen Hart races down to the ring. Owen is on top and flies off with a crossbody that wipes out both Sons of the Tiger!
Now it’s Flyin’ Brian and Owen Hart two-on-one against Rollerball Rocco, but the Rollerball thinks better and escapes to the floor. He huddles up with this Sons of the Tiger, and then laughs at the Harts and Pillman before walking off.
Ed Whalen joins Flyin’ Brian Pillman, Owen Hart and Bruce Hart in the ring for an interview.
Ed Whalen: Well, that was a wild scene! Right back into the fray, Brian!
Flyin’ Brian Pillman: I wouldn’t have it any other way! When Bruce Hart called me and told me what happened to Chris Benoit, I knew I had to book the first flight back to Calgary. See, me, Chris and Owen trained together, we broke in together in Stu Hart’s Dungeon. Chris is like a member of the Hart family, and so am I! When family is threatened, you circle the wagons. Rocco, you got our attention. How about next week, it’s the three of you against the three of us!
Ed Whalen: I’m sure the matchmakers will sign that one! Now Bruce, I have to ask, just how is Chris Benoit after that attack from Rocco last week?
Bruce Hart: Chris is a tough kid, he’s all heart, Mr. Whalen. The fact is he suffered a concussion last week and the doctors wouldn’t let him be here tonight. However, Chris Benoit is a fighter and he’ll be back in this ring very soon. Much sooner than Rocco would like!
Ed Whalen: There you have it, fans! We’ll be right back with someone called, the US Male?! You can’t make this stuff up, folks.

Jim Davies is standing by with Bad News Allen ahead of his match with Freebird Michael Hayes.
Jim Davies: Bad News, we saw you get involved in that big tag team main event last week. However, tonight it’s just yourself and Michael Hayes one-on-one.
Bad News Allen: One thing has become real clear to me, Jimmy. With these bruisers all throwing their weight around, sometimes you have to make a statement. Just you rest assured that the Ultimate Warrior will make his statement right here tonight. Michael Hayes, I never liked you… so I’m gonna hurt you real bad. Mark my words! Then it’s your turn, Gordy!
Jim Davies: Strong words from the Ultimate Warrior!
In the arena, we have the following music blaring over the public address system:
THIS IS THE ‘US MALE’ CURTIS THOMPSON!
Ed Whalen basically shits all over Curtis Thompson on commentary throughout the match, as he was want to do with gimmicks he found silly. The US Male is very cheesy, flexing at every opportunity throughout the match and blowing kisses to the pretty ladies in the crowd. However, he’s also quite powerful and he finishes off the very capable Biff Wellington with a devastating reverse piledriver for the academic three count.
Winner: ‘US Male’ Curtis Thompson via pin @ 6:11
Ed Whalen: I’m not gonna waste my time interviewing this guy, but I’ll admit that’s one heck of a move he used there to beat Biff Wellington. We’ll be right back!

Jim Davies is joined backstage by Rick Martel and Tom Zenk.
Jim Davies: It’s nice to see you guys back on the same page again!
Rick Martel: Oh, of course, we are Mr. Davies. Tom was right last week, we have goals as singles wrestlers right now. In fact, I even arranged a special match for us next week!
Tom Zenk: Wait, what? Ricky, I always enjoy tag-teaming with you but, like you said, we have our own singles goals right now.
Rick Martel: No, no, no. It’s not a tag team match! We’ve been teaming lately, so I signed up a singles exhibition match so we can prove to all of these fans and the Stampede officials that we deserve singles titles matches.
Tom Zenk: Oh - what kind of match is this?
Rick Martel: It’s an exhibition match - Tom Zenk vs. Rick Martel! After all, you can trust me and I can trust you! Who better to get in the ring with than someone you know won’t take any shortcuts?
Tom Zenk: Ricky, if that’s what you want, that’s fine by me. I’ll never turn down a challenge, not even from a friend.
Rick Martel: I know that, Tom! When I win, I know you’ll be there to shake my hand because you’re a stand up guy.
Tom Zenk: When you win?
Rick Martel: Sorry, you know my English isn’t always so great! What I meant to say is that whoever wins, the other will be there to shake his hand.
Tom Zenk: Fair enough, Ricky. I’ll see you in that ring next week.
Jim Davies: I can’t believe it, fans! Rick Martel vs Tom Zenk right here on Stampede Wrestling next week!
The Freebird doesn’t even make it through the ropes before Bad News just drills him with a judo kick to the side of the head. Bad News grabs Hayes by the hair and hurls head-first into the turnbuckle, and then slings him to the opposite corner. Coage climbs up and connects with ten shots to the forehead as the fans count for him. Hayes is on rubber legs as Bad News blasts him with the Ghetto Blaster leaping enzguri! Bad News could pin Hayes here, put he pulls him up and props him against the ropes.
Bad News takes flight for a second Ghetto Blaster! Hayes is absolutely lifeless here, but Bad News isn’t finished yet. Allen picks up the now limp Hayes and props him up in the corner. A third Ghetto Blaster! Now, Bad News Allen makes the cover for the academic three count! This was a mauling by the #1 contender!
Winner: Bad News Allen by pinfall @ 4:10
Bad News Allen stands tall in the ring as Michael P.S. Hayes is loaded onto a stretcher and rushed out of the Pavilion after that vicious beating by the Ultimate Warrior! He has definitely sent a message to Terry Gordy!
Ed Whalen: Fans, we’re out of time! What a massacre that was! We’ll bring you all of the fallout next week! In the meantime, and the in between time, this is Ed Whalen saying good night!
