Candido is screaming in pain, but Martel appears to be just in as much pain, and is unable to really sit back on Candido. Fytch, Smothers and Anthony are screaming from their side of the ring. Candido tries to reach for the ropes, and thanks to some help of Smothers who pushed the ropes closer, Candido grabs the ropes.

Mauro Rannalo and Raymond Rougeau welcomes the fans to another action packed hour of Championship Wrestling.

They begin by announcing that following the footage at the start of the show, they will show the closing moments of the Finals for the Canadian Heavyweight Title.

Plus in action today, TV Main Event will feature the Young Gunns, Mike Lazansky and Chi Chi Cruz taking the team of Well Dunn. Also, Lance Storm, Eddie Watts and much much more.

They send us to the ring for the opening contest.

Raymond Rougeau is joined at ringside by the Young Gunns.

Lazansky talk about how happy to be teaming up with his childhood buddy Cruz, and that they are ready for the upcoming tag team tournament.

Cruz is also looking forward to the Tag Tournament, and also their big match up against Well Dunn later in the program. He mentions that it will not be easy, but they are ready.

[VTR: Candido Vs. Martel, CWF Power Drive 11/30/93]

Candido is screaming in pain, but Martel appears to be just in as much pain, and is unable to really sit back on Candido. Fytch, Smothers and Anthony are screaming from their side of the ring. Candido tries to reach for the ropes, and thanks to some help of Smothers who pushed the ropes closer, Candido grabs the ropes.

Benoit and Hart move towards that side and a shouting match begins between all 4 men. The next thing you know, you’ve got a fight in the ring, and another brawl on the outside. Commissioner Leo Burke was at ringside signals to the back for some, as referee’s Danny Marsh, Mike Chioda, Mark Curtis, Tom Zenk, Johnny Swinger, Sexton Hardcastle to name a few come from the back to try and separate the brawl on the outside.

Also from the back it’s the Giant Warrior…the Big Giant Warrior is back out, and with everybody’s attention on the brawl on the outside, Warrior picks up Martel and delivers a falling choke slam, almost driving Martel through the mat. Warrior puts Candido on top of Martel and exits the ring. Referee Frank Parker sees Candido on top and enters the ring and makes the 3 count.

Raymond Rougeau is in the ring and introduces the NEW Canadian Heavyweight Champion Chris Candido and Tammy Fytch.



(Fytch and Candido comes out, Fytch is holding the Canadian Heavyweight Title, as they are followed by Tracy Smothers, Tony Anthony & Giant Warrior)

Fytch begins by gloating and saying that she had promised that Candido would win the title and he did.

Candido finally speaks as he also gloats about being the Champion and having the best protection that money can buy. He thanks the Giant Warrior, Smothers and Anthony for being there and sharing in his special moment, and promises to be there when they go for the Tag Team Titles.

“Giant Warrior, Chris Candido...you guys think that you had it all figured out didn’t you. You thought that after last week’s main event, that I would be out of action, and gone from professional wrestling. Well, you came close, but you know what. I’m still standing, and just know that I’m not going anywhere.

Candido, you and I are going to meet once again, and I can guarantee one thing to these great fans. I will become Canadian Heavyweight Champion. I will bring that title home, and be a champion that the people can look up at.

Giant Warrior, you really did a number to me. Those chokeslams really took a lot out of me, and you went for where you knew I would be in trouble....my back. You might be big, you might be strong, but you seem to forget the most important thing went attacking someone. And that’s to make sure you finish the job, and big man, you have not finished the job. I’m still standing.”

At this time Tammy Fytch comes out from the back




“Martel, why must you do this to yourself? You know you can’t compete against Chris, or the Giant Warrior. I’ve talked to Hilary Clinton, and she promised me that Bill will pass a health bill especially for you Ricky. We don’t want you to be without insurance.”

Martel: “Ms Fytch, obviously you are not too smart. Your Bill Clinton and Hilary Clinton cannot do anything in Canada. You do know that you are in Canada right.

(Tammy Fytch looks insulted)

Tell “Chris” and Warrior to be ready cause I do have a big surprise for them, and that surprise will be here next week.

Oh and another thing, just so you know, I used to be a “Model”, if you want to experience something different , let me know.”

(The crowd goes wild, as Tammy is beginning to throw her hissy fit in the ring, and goes to slap Martel, but he grabs her by the arm to block it. He pulls her to him, and gives her a big kiss. Fytch struggles to break free, but Martel notices from the back the Candido and Giant Warrior charging the ring, and he bails out quickly as the fans are loving it. Tammy goes crazy in the ring screaming and pouting like a spoiled little girl, as Candido freaks out that he wants Martel as we go to commercial”

The 4 on 2 attack didn’t last long as Rick Martel, with a Baseball Bat in hand, clears the ring, but not before getting a good shot on the back of the Giant Warrior.

Tom Zenk defeats Buddy Lee Parker with the Sleeper Hold.

Joe E. Legend defeats Preston Steele following a Legend Driver.

Kurrgan battles Giant Warrior to a No-Contest, when both men brawled all over the arena.

Rick Martel & Kurrgan defeats Canadian Heavyweight Champion Chris Candido & Giant Warrior by DQ, when Warrior went crazy and choke slam 3 referees, before leaving Kurrgan in a pool of blood on the outside after ramming his head in the steel ring post. Martel and Candido brawled all the way to the back during the match.
